Thanks for the Asus 270x updates Vesper. For those having trouble running TC 24000 in Windows try using --lookup-gap 0.
443  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] TagCoin - The World's First Rewards Coin - Mandatory update to v 1.3 on: January 23, 2014, 01:23:46 AM

Hey this is none of my business, but I couldn't help but comment here:

You're a real dick, and a child. The post that person made was fully reasonable, and you just responded by basically calling him stupid. Now I'm betting that you're a very smart person, and that makes your response even more pathetic. Grow up, little man.

Stop spamming the thread and take your vulgar insults back to the playground.

Get a clue about the coin you mine people and stop the retard rage.

When is the LMB Holdings website going to be completed?
445  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] TagCoin - The World's First Rewards Coin - Mandatory update to v 1.3 on: January 22, 2014, 01:27:00 PM

True, but things like this are frustrating and hurts the growth of Tagcoin. I know they have a supposed fix come in, but this is the second time I've jumped into a tag pool and the second time around 1/3rd of all of my payouts have been orphaned.

The patch is not live until Feb1. This has been stated numerous times. Don't blame TAG for your own ignorance.

Yeah its my ignorance.

Not the Tag Dev's ignorance of being able to develop a proper coin that doesn't orphan 1/3rd of all your mined progress. It's not like they're doing something brand new here. There are hundreds of alt coins that don't have this problem.

Nice community you got here. Sorry if I didn't look through 109 pages of the topic to find out where they said it would be live on Feb 1st. All I see on the OP is that you must update your client by Feb 2nd, not that the patch is going live Feb 1.

I have always said this community miners have more mhs than brains. Thanks for proving my point...move along now troll

thanks for the volume from you a Doge, cryptsy fee shares are set to double or triple their record dividend this week.

Imma be rich!

Idiot's like this make trading on Cryptsy even less appealing.

Oh great, here come the unwashed masses! Say goodbye to our low diff.

449  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Pools (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][TAG] TAGMining.Com- Try your chance at our weekly jackpot! on: January 17, 2014, 07:36:08 AM
Current Difficulty    251.45700625

That's got to be a record?? So far...............

Maybe an attempt to get it to fork and game the system?

I don't know, but that astronomical diff does not make sense. I don't see any multi's hitting it.

I'll never hit my horde goal at this rate....
450  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: 4th 280x on AsRock Z77 Extreme6 is detected but won't function on: January 17, 2014, 06:15:40 AM
I have a few Win8 rigs with 7970's on a Z77 and when a card is not detected it is most likely a PCIE speed (turn it to 1x) in the bios.

I doubt it's a dummy plug. I have to use a dummy when it is detected, but I can't tweak it.

Use BAMT if you don't need Windows.
451  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Tagcoin: All blocks orphans? on: January 16, 2014, 11:28:46 PM
TAG has a forking issue. Best to stay away from TAG until the new update is released. Crap shoot right now...
452  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Pools (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][TAG] TAGMining.Com- Try your chance at our weekly jackpot! on: January 16, 2014, 05:28:15 PM
Ok. Those settings are from BAMT 1.2, Cgminer 3.7.2. Probably get errors under windows, but give it a shot. Also try those but 1120 for engine in case 1145 is too much. Thanks.

FWIW I am getting around 450kh in Windows. I am not going to spend anymore time on it in Windows. I'll pop it in a BAMT config later today.

I have read mixed reviews so far, so I will try another flavor when I spring for another one. It sure runs cool though...

So what is the favorite brand 270x? I installed an Asus 270x last night and pulling 445mh. Not too impressed.

mh or kh? mh = sha, kh = scrypt. The cards will run faster with scrypt/kh.

What are your settings? What is your setup? OS/Software

Try these and report back:

"intensity" : "20",
"worksize" : "256",
"thread-concurrency" : "24000",
"expiry" : "120",
"gpu-engine" : "1145",
"gpu-memclock" : "1500",
"gpu-powertune" : "20",
"temp-overheat":"87",
"temp-target":"60",
"log" : "5",
"no-pool-disable" : true,
"queue" : "1",
"scan-time" : "60",
"shares" : "0"

I'm thinking of pulling the trigger on some Asus 270x's and would love to know..

I was getting HW errors last night at the higher TC. I'll spend some time now and see what I can get.

Note: I am testing on my Windows 8 box as my BAMT rigs are all full.

455  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [Poll] Which rig do you think is more profitable on: January 16, 2014, 01:51:15 PM
You are risking your life savings on an endeavor you will most likely lose money on. Brilliant!

Don't think so, most probably middlecoin will return me the ROI in max 3 months.
Plus, 75% resale value of cards till atleast 6 months.

Middlecoin is your worst option, only for the lazy and simple minded. You might get lucky and pick the right coin to mine, but the odds are against you. Factor in power costs and your dream world comes crumbling down.

Investing in BTC with that money is a much better option.

457  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Advice on case for new mining rig on: January 16, 2014, 06:49:27 AM
Don't waste money on a case, you will be operating on a low profit margin. Get a piece of wood and a cupboard rack to mount your cards.
458  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Is it worth to start mining ? on: January 16, 2014, 06:41:35 AM
Most likely never turn a profit mining at this point. Trading has always been more profitable anyway.
459  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] TagCoin - The World's First Rewards Coin on: January 16, 2014, 05:50:08 AM
A very major fork is happening... nearly 50 blocks between... TAG and BOT on something like 29434 and Hash and IT on something like 29475... explorer at 29434... Mark needs to suspend TAG until they have this fixed... somebody is going to end up with a lot of orphans.

Anyone notice Botpool instantly jumped from ~800 worker to more than 1000 instantly?

If you are on the same chain or mine at BOT I highly suggest you rethink that decision if you want to keep your mined TAG.

~BCX~

What a mess, thanks for the update BCX. Fingers crossed Tagmining is on the correct chain.

Couldn't have anything to do with the failed launch of 10s of thousands of stolen coins from the scam online wallet developed by some guy nobody knows. How much did you lose? Im out 7680 mined coins, now my entire goal in crypto life is to bury this coin like it deserves.

Ha, you go full retard over $10 in coins. Noob rage, love it...
