Anyone else having problems connecting to tag.scryptmining.com??

I'm trying to connect using BAMT (yeah I know). Here is my cgminer.conf code:

Anyone see what the problem is?

Try this:

POS is mined in the wallet when the coins reach maturity(30+ days).  It is relatively fast and it can be done by running the wallet for an hour or so every now and then.  I open the wallet every week to update and POS mine.

You're good, mate.  I think when Mark says 1.3, he really means 1.0.3, although it could be that he means 1.3, but the version is off.  Either way, as long as you're updated, you're good to go

how many coins do you get POS mining? i assume you'll need to own a lot of coins just to get a small return?

The exchange or the platform is supposed to have 1.0% per year. It's the wallet software that does 1.5% per year every 30 days on coins in your wallet, and I mean the tagcoin-qt.exe if you're using Windows XP, 7, 8, 8.1.

So, if you buy TAG from any exchange and want to mine Proof of Stake coins, send it over to your tagcoin-qt wallet address. It's generally a good idea to keep your own coins in your own wallets and not leave them on any exchanges.

Spent 8 hours last night mining this coin.

I think i'm gonna stay away from it for a while. I lost 1/3rd of all of my coins i mined last night due to orphans. Could've been mining doge the whole time and actually getting coins.

No one is forcing you to mine tag, mate.  Mine what's best for you and hopefully the issues will be resolved with time, and you'll come back.

To put it into perspective, I could have bought Litecoin at $0.07 back in February of last year when I got started with crypto again.  8 hours is nothing in the grand scheme of things, mate.

The patch is not live until Feb1. This has been stated numerous times. Don't blame TAG for your own ignorance.

Would it be possable to include the version number in the file download?  I've just downloaded this file and when I ran it, it says it's version 1.0.2 (Which I already had).
