Absolutely correct. Sorry for that, when i copied difficulty calculation algo from my pool to blockchain API i forgot to correct it. Give me some minutes i will fix that.
The root of the problem is that mining software (sgminer, for example) still using 2^32 multiplier even for Pascal algo and i was forced to use that on the pool's side to be able to support that software.
Hey there, thanks for responding. Just wanted to make sure about nethash, as edited on my first post: `Edit2: Are we 100% sure that nethash isnt in fact 4 times bigger than given by api?` By doing simple nethash equation: `coins_per_day = 50 * (24 * 60 / 4) = 18000` - 4 minutes is the current average block_time over last 24h `coins_per_day * 500Mh / 200_000 Mh = 45` - shouldnt the nethash reported be 4 times bigger as well?

Ok. I've sent them our API over. I basically used the form at http://whattomine.com/contacts/newHopefully that will get a hold of them. Would be nice to see "ETH+PASL" profitability Hey I am seeing wrong results from calculation for the difficulty exposed by the api. I see that you use a `2^32` multiplier internally, but maybe it should be `2^34` instead? I base this on the fact that my estimated rewards are around 4 times bigger than in reality. Calculated for 500Mhash returns 42.3, but in reality I have mined 9.5 on suprnova. I have taken the default (bitcoin and many algos use this) `2^32` multiplier, cause is fits nethash to diff formula. `nethash = difficulty * 2^32 / block_time` Waiting for a response Edit: Can anyone post their earnings for past 24h with given hashrate? Thanks. Edit2: Are we 100% sure that nethash isnt in fact 4 times bigger than given by api?

ocminer don't listen to these people they are just trolling trying to fud. We know PASL's real value and they just want to try and get cheap coins. Likely the same guys who were behind the price manipulation on Pascal. They admitted to having over 800,000 coins before it was added to Polo. Abseb see this tweet as to what I was talking about to get added to What To Mine https://twitter.com/WhatToMine/status/843710794223304705Yes I have informed xiphon if he can add a API for the difficulty of our coin. Thanks, looking forward to it! Please expose it on the block explorer as well.

Can you add PASL Pascal Lite please. Thanks.
I would just like, if the dev could add proper difficulty reporting, so we can have proper reward estimation.

hello.
i am buying a rig.
what is better for mining zcash regarding ROi:
rx 470 4 GB preice per card: 215 € rx 470 8 gb 220 € rx 480 4 gb 220€ rx 480 8 gb 260 €
i will try to put up to 6 gpus per rig. if any one have 7, is system stabile?
any recomendation for motherboard? h81 pro BTC for 6 gpu or any better, maybe for 7 gpus?
thanky for help
You should really mine ETH and alike with polaris cards. I would get 480 8gb. h81 pro btc are fine, not sure where are we with 7gpu rigs those days - think it needs win10 / linux

Are we out of the storm yet? From my understanding both the fix and rollback are already applied?
I am asking cause the difficulty is really low 180k, vs usual 1,2mil. This difficulty makes it twice as profitable as ETH, so where are the miners? What am I missing? Disabled KMD on wtm for now.

Hello
I want to buy new risers. Witch is better one? What version can i bought on Amazon?
This is off topic so maybe we should delete from this thread? Well I sell risers on Amazon... I have 6 packs of risers in stock at Amazon now. With free prime shipping. In my opinion, green version 6 are best. Black version 6 were good but the factory started making them in a hurry and we started seeing a lot of defects. Blue version 6 I have no personal experience with but a friend fried one in high temperatures. Same guy that recommended we switch from black to green. Red version 7 appear to be made by the same factory that makes black version 7. You can see similar qualities in the way they are built. Damn there is version 7 already? Why do we need so many versions? Here in shops I can mainly see blue version 5, which I have all my cards on. As for earlier posts I run 480 and 380 on the same rig - Tonga doesnt benefit much from asm anyway. Edit: DR_TAMFR_DHP 16.6 drivers? I think you need newer, I am on 16.10.3, but claymore recommends 16.12.2. Nicehash recommends 16.11.5.

@adaseb Any chance you guys could expose proper difficulty value on the client? Lack of difficulty on PASC already made me crazy, not to mention the little endian

The 241BTC buywall is hilarious It is actually a SELL wall Damn I have heard 2 different explanations of a wall so far... Always thought that sell wall should mean a large order on sell side, but.... on exchanges people say "buywall - cause it prevents price raise from buying"

I have been mining ETH + DCR with v7.4 successfully using Suprnova pool for DCR. I wanted to change over to try Pascal with v8.0 so I simply copied over the start.bat file, left everything the same, except changed to the secondary pool address to Suprnova's Pascal address from their DCR address. From my understanding of how Suprnova works, I assumed this was all that needed to be changed, since the suprnova username.workername part of the bat file should be identical.
However, after making this change and launching the miner, everything starts fine for ETH, but the miner is still attempting to mine DCR, which of course it cannot due to the pascal.suprnova pool address, resulting in invalid DCR shares... and, it's not even attempting to mine Pascal for some reason.
Does someone know if something else needs to be changed in the start.bat file to trigger the Pascal mining? I can't seem to figure it out.
Check readme for PASC mining example.

Be careful with r9 nanos and power limit on this one Melting cables like chocolate if anything over 10. lol yeah i noticted that too on my nanos but the nano is a beast at dual mining which is why i kept all 36 of mine the nanos can do 23.5 eth and 800 DCR at 750 watts TOTAL machine or around 130 watt per card with 800 core and 300 mem -100 undervolt jst tested pascal with DCRi 48 and they are doing 23.2 eth and 550 pascal thats 146 watts per card. which is crazy profitable considering they do solo pacasl at 800 normaly R9 Nanos are such beasts , wish i had more instead of the mix of around 200 470s i have. The rX 480 8 GB cards are no slouch either 29.8 eth and 320 pascal for 150 wattts or so with -16 mv undervolt 470s are pretty weak for eth pascal though consume alot of power relative to thier hash and eth hashrate drops alot Interesting. I cant push my 480 at all, they are stuck at 28, but able to reach 30+ with decred. Thats with pasc -dcri 10. With -dcri 30 eth goes down to 24. 280x on the other hand can take high dcri levels without loosing eth hashrate - stronger core. Edit: Actually it can only go to high dcri on ETH/ETC - on exp is has to be reduced as well.

i notice something else what is strange
when i put memory to 1900 start the miner is hash around 750mh when i increase the memory to 2000 (hash speed stay the same) i close the miner start the miner again with 2000 i get 800mh (at 2000 it s unstable gpu crash after few minutes) but i decrease the memory to 1900 it s till hashing at 800 (but same computer crash few minute later)
but why is that ? does the miner lock the memory speed ?
I got the same thing, changing memory speed while miner has already been run has no effect on the hashing speed. I actually got it on ETH miner as well (only on 470 and only on one machine)... confusing.

PASC is delisted currently, while I keep searching for more accurate formula.

Im getting 325 -328 h/s rinning v12 with RX480 (Bios Mod)
What Bios rom? What driver? Modified bios with Pascal Bios Editor, set the gpu to 1330, 1700 timing, then set mem to 2225 and used 16.12.2 driver as recomended by claymore. Just haf to do the bypass so you can use latest drivers. Its a very good result but im still getting more bang for buck doing eth+dcr What are you getting on dual mining? Is it posssible to get 28MH/s + 400Mh/s for Decred? It belongs more in eth miner thread, but I am currently going with 29.8Mh/s + 595 Mh/s. Just forced dcri to 40.
