441  Economy / Speculation / Re: Warning: kwukduck about to QUACK. on: May 11, 2017, 10:04:17 AM
Some of the delusional minds here think that a cup and handle is forming or double shoulders making for crazy future prices.

I would like to remind everybody that this is not the case. This is a pure bubble that's on extreme tension.

The 2013 peak was caused by a hack, a bot at MtGox, not by real market trading. It is a false indicator and should be completely ignored in any TA.

This craze can't go on much longer before we crash hard again to $800-$1000.

You are warned.
Love people who make empty speculations. You are literally just saying that the price will drop with no sort of evidence to support this claim. Like wtf.

 Yea  no evidence at all....
There's no parabole... there's no fork... keep the delusion going... you'll run out of money soon enough like this.

Warning: kwukduck about to QUACK.

Thank you for the continued humor.

444  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: CryptoKingdom Uncensored on: May 08, 2017, 03:30:38 AM
One of the more pertinent questions is why this disclosure of said held funds by polo was not made public knowledge to those involved earlier.

Why all the shenanigans of deleting posts and deflecting etc?
445  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: rpietila's Crypto Kingdom game is a scam, heavily in debt. Do not deposit funds. on: May 08, 2017, 03:06:17 AM
IF I Agree With Anything Anyone Says, I Will Indicate It. Until otherwise announced, everyone else except ME is speaking bullshit( in this thread at least). No offense GIRLs and others who are close to truth.

Jesus motherfucking God.

Usually narcissists have that type of attitude where the entire world is wrong...and they are in the right.

 Roll Eyes

You must live in a world of rainbows and unicorns, no?

To me it speaks volumes when trusted members of the community are all claiming you have scammed them or others.

This really is an interesting situation...  I cannot come up with a really good analysis really.

I've seen that situation before, and I can't figure it out either. All I can say is that I've seen it a handful of times and that the price is still on an upward trend, so I don't sweat it...although I definitely don't get it...maybe it's the only one with real and not inflated value?

Of the list Monero is the only with a 'real' distribution (organic), some others like LTC and ETH have some decent distribution but its offset by awful concentration or premine. I would say Monero is the only real coin besides Bitcoin.

You know... with there being thousands in BTC volume traded daily.  Millions of dollars a day... there is only really one reason the price is resisting the greater trends in an amazing bull market where even known scam coins are growing orders of magnitude in value.

Someone is selling.

Our bull market is being quietly held down by someone or someones selling.

I believe it's that simple.

Or on the flip side someone wants to keep the price down below the ATH to form an ascending triangle thus the blow off will be that more epic. The more pressure builds in sideways movement the higher the pop will go IMO.

Perhaps there is no analysis. Just pump kids pumping their coins. Nothing to analyze about that.

Do you have a pic of you coin you're kindly donating, Smoothie?

Am I allowed to sweeten the pot here and donate an additional 1/2 oz LTC silver coin (funded at the winner's discretion or not) to be sent to the winner at minimal shipping charges?

Meaning the person who wins will determine how it is shipped to them and pay for it.

If not ,sorry for hijacking your thread!

Love what you are doing here for others with this auction!  Smiley

No I do not. But I will make sure it is of decent quality. Will assemble it prior to shipment.

Winner of the auction can fund it if they please. If not it will be marked "BTCUYER FUNDED"

In case any others are interested in these sets, given the unexpected amount of interest I have run out of wooden KOA plaques that I had pre-produced prior to this thread announcement. I am going to make another order of these made to allow for the remaining sets to have plaques.

Any sets now ordered currently may take up to 5-7 weeks to be shipped from payment date.

Thank you to all who ordered thus far. I really appreciate all of the interest in my coins.

Very nice set smoothie, I really enjoy how you experimented with the coins finishes and gilt areas.  Extremely unique and I think they turned out exceptional.   Smiley

Thanks man.

Yeah the variations took some time. But what took the most time was getting the time to actually release them.

Hoping they are received well by the community.

That set with the plaque looks so good! You really outdid yourself on this one smoothie.

A question. If you purchase the 8-coin set that's about 16oz of silver, correct? And you are shipping from USA I guess?

Would love one of these, keep up the good work Smiley

16 oz silver yes.

Shipped from USA.

Thank you for the kind words!

NOTICE REGARDING UNFUNDED "FUNDED" KAM SET #17

This set listed here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2258677.msg22877122#msg22877122

Was purchased in the early summer of 2017 by a customer.

The customer requested the entire set of coins be fully funded by them, with 1 BTC each.

They asked if they could have the coins funded after they were received in person given the high value of Bitcoin currently. After some thought and consideration I made an exception for this user as they were a repeat customer of mine and I had no reason to think they wouldn’t do what they said they would.

After some time this customer asked me to delay their package stating they were going on vacation for several weeks and would contact me when they returned.

Once they returned and requested shipment they requested their set to be shipped with COAs in a separate package to the set. I obliged and shipped their set.

At no point did this customer indicate that they did not want to fund the coins.

- - From the time they got the package until they sold the coins was likely a short time frame as the package shipped out in late August.

Given it was an international shipment, the package could take 2-5 weeks depending upon transit etc.

Then fast forward to last week (October 10th). I got a few messages about a unfunded “funded” set of my KAM coins. To my surprise I had not heard back yet from this customer and found that the set was being auctioned off on the bitcointalk.org forum. It was surprising how quick this set was resold before I could confront the original buyer about funding them.

It was my mistake in trusting this customer to do what they said they would in funding the coins as they initially requested.

All of the messages with this customer have been documented and indicate clearly that this set was supposed to be fully funded by them and given my willingness to work with them to attempt to avoid risk of shipping funded coins, in the end the agreement was broken on their end.

To be clear, this set is in no way an “error” set. There is nothing error-like about it other than that the purchaser reneged on their end of funding the set fully.

8-COIN KAMEHAMEHA SET ~ "SAILING INTO UNCHARTED WATERS"

This product is an extension of my previously released all silver KAMEHAMEHA coins:
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1615738.msg16235123#msg16235123

Max mintage of full 8-coin sets - 27
Wood Type - Hawaiian Grown KOA
Laser Engraving - Will vary with each set. All art engraving will likely be different in positioning/size/frequency.
Name Customization - On the back of each set you are allowed to put a phrase or your name limited to the space on the bottom half of the wood pieces.

Four regular finish coins will be in the first wooden Koa plaque.
Four reverse proof-like coins will reside in the second.
Each coin is 2 Troy Oz 999 Fine Silver.

Funding - Not a requirement. Coins not funded will be marked "BTCUYER FUNDED" on their respective hologram. Face value of each coin is 1BTC should you choose to fund it.

This product was supposed to be released in 2016, but time constraints on my schedule did not allow me to get around to doing this.

Q: How does it work if I bought a silver KAMEHAMEHA set from you already?
A: You are allowed to purchase the other six coins that come with the KOA wood plaques. The set would be sent with 6-coins. Upon arrival you should be able to pop the other two silver coins into their respective places within the plaques.

There is no requirement on what 8-coin set #'s will exist. The first 27 owners (current or new owners) of these sets that purchase it will have the plaques assembled and created for them.

**Any other details that I may have forgotten or need to add will be added here**

Certificates - Only funded coins will receive a paper certificate.

459  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [XMR] Monero Speculation on: May 03, 2017, 01:10:23 AM
As someone who prefers to take the long term view I find the following charts relevant. https://coinmarketcap.com/charts/#btc-percentage. What the charts illustrate is the significant drop in the percentage of the total market cap of crypto currencies that is accounted for by Bitcoin from over 96% in November 2013 to 61% as of the time of this post. It has recently actually fallen below 60%. A different way to look at this is the sharp increase in the combined market capitalization of alt coins from ~1.5 billion USD a year ago to over 15 billion USD today. This is an increase of ~1000%. Bitcoin by comparison has had an increase from ~7 billion USD a year ago to ~23.5 billion USD today for an increase of  ~240%. What we have here is crypto currency rally that is driven primarily by alt coins and not Bitcoin. This is in sharp contrast to previous crypto currency rallies where the primary driving force was Bitcoin. My take is that the market is getting tired of waiting for Bitcoin to sort out its blocksize scaling issues, assuming they  even have a solution, and is looking for alternatives.

How does Monero compare to all of the above. During the last year Monero say an increase in market capitalization of from ~11 million USD to currently ~330 million USD for an increase of ~2900%. My take is what we are seeing here with Monero is a market consolidation after a sharp increase, in an otherwisie strong bull market in alt coins. Monero has underperformed many other alt coins in the first part of 2017; however this is understandable when one considers Monero's stellar performance in 2016.

As for where is Monero likely to trade in the next few months I must point out that I have in the past being wrong on multiple occasions such as buying between ~0.0011 - ~0.0050 XBT in 2014 only to watch it fall to ~0.0009 XBT in December 2014 and also in 2015 buying at around ~0.0024 XBT only to again watch Monero fall to below 0.0010 XBT in December 2015.

To be fair the % of total market cap share of bitcoin is likely skewed and manipulated by many ICOs and premined coins where there is centralized control of the majority of supply.

As the ICO scam bubble increases and grows the metric becomes diluted as an accurate way to determine the "real" % market cap of bitcoin of the total crypto space.
