Phasing out cash would restrict and stagnate an economy over the long term.
Initially fees and restrictions would be low.
Once cash was eliminated however, electronic payment would have a monopoly.
That would give them free reign to hike fees sky high and people wouldn't be able to do anything about it.

Didn't it look like Gunnar Nelson was being too over confident? I mean being with Conor McGregor and all might have an effect on his mindset and he'll try to 'do a McGregor' himself. I dunno, it's just something that looked like it was happening to Nelson.
I thought Gunnar Nelson wasn't as sharp as in previous fights due to Conor not being able to help him prepare(being too busy training for Mayweather). So many variables in MMA its tough to pinpoint what the cause and effect of things are.

BJJ Scout released a good breakdown of Jones Vs Cormier clinch & hand fighting in the first fight. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Iq96XmBWSn4All of BJJ Scout's videos are A+ imo. Probably the best at breaking down wrestling/grappling. The best that releases videos and shares everything they know publicly anyway.

I still think bitcoin's value would increase to offset the decrease of fiat declining in value under global crisis conditions.
A case could be made for bitcoin being more stable than the euro which is $12 trillion in debt & the us dollar which is $20 trillion in debt.

AFAIK facebook and other IT based platforms rolled out their own digital currency years ago.
Bitcoin casinos are only following trends set by facebook and other web platforms utilizing their own proprietary digital currency.

There was a site that did that years ago. I think it was bitcoinsports.eu
They might have gone out of business, I don't remember exactly what their URL was or what happened.

The scaling war is miners attempt to seize control of the developer side of things.
Bitcoin unlimited/segwit are puppet groups for miners.
Best move is to support core and keep things decentralized, rather than support bu/segwit and give miners all the power in a centralized format.
Let's be honest guys. Bitcoin unlimited developers are incompetent but miners supported them anyway. Miners don't care which incompetent developers they support, bu or segwit it makes no difference. Bu & segwit developers are willing to bend over backwards and be a whore for miners, that's the only reason miners support them over core devs.

I'll probably ride out whatever happens. I'm not holding much btc or crypto. A drop won't affect me much.
There could be opportunities in trading. A short play sometime before the fork could be a decent option. Not certain if earning potential is worth the risk.

I don't mind paying taxes. I wish I had the influence to encourage governments to spend tax revenues more efficiently and wisely.
Too many state based policies and programs revolve around blindly throwing money at problems without real analysis or facts being given.
The US healthcare issue is a prime example of this, where the majority of americans don't have full facts or details on anything.

Ponzinibbio might have committed two fouls.
After he landed that big right he grabbed Gunnar Nelson's shorts when Gunnar was running away. Then when Gunnar put his back to the fench, Ponzinibbio might have poked Gunnar in the eye.
Otherwise a solid performance from Ponzinibbio.

Is this what people refer to when they say we're losing rights and freedom?
I wouldn't mind if governments of the world decided to grant us more rights and freedoms, instead of limiting cash transactions and taking away the freedoms and privileges we already have.

My friend says he heard something about Nate Diaz being included as the undercard for this event vs Adrien Broner? I tried searching for it online but have found no news about, although having Nate Diaz on would be an immensely awesome addition to this card.
I don't really follow boxing much but please confirm.
Diaz brothers aren't fighting anytime soon. Both Nate and Nick spar with Andre Ward who compliments them on their striking skills. That's probably their biggest claim to fame as far as boxing goes. They tried to make Anderson Silva vs Roy Jones Jr in boxing. I think Silva needed to beat Chris Weidman to fight Roy Jones, unfortunately Silva lost that fight.

Santiago Ponzinibbio, Paul Felder, Danny Roberts, Khalil Rountree and Galore Bofando all had very impressive finishes.
I missed the first fight, Leslie Smith & Amanda Lemos. Don't think that fight mattered as it was a late notice mismatch with Lemos not being prepared to fight.

Imagine you own a rock that is worth $2,500. A few days later the same rock is valued at $1,800. It is clear the value of your holdings has decreased. I don't see what's "irrelevent" about that.

This indeed is something new. I understood what you trying to say. But still I am confused why miners want Segwit2x this badly. What big will they achieve. I would like to know your view over this.
This is the best I can come up with. The designer of bit torrent who is a well known software engineer says segwit2x is unbelievably terrible. He posted this link as evidence: https://lists.linuxfoundation.org/pipermail/bitcoin-dev/2017-July/014709.htmlFrom my perspective, it looks like segwit developers are a lot like bitcoin unlimited devs. They're incompetent but miners want them anyway as they're essentially puppets who would give miners absolute control. Core developers by contrast aren't willing to do anything or everything miners tell them. That's my analysis although I can't claim to have put much time or effort into it.

This graphic seems to indicate unconfirmed transactions were a politically motivated, coordinated attack. Completely unrelated to block size or scaling issue. From the chart above you can see network traffic & unconfirmed transactions declined significantly once attackers were appeased. Edit: This graphic was made by someone else & posted in Bitcoin Discussion section. It should be on page 1 but somehow got bumped far down where it should be, so I'm reposting here also.

I wonder if people realize banks are likely behind the spammed DDoS transactions in btc which led to a fork.
Banks are herding people like cows, using things like unconfirmed transactions and high fees to control people and influence them into supporting the wrong things.
Its painful to watch.

Floyd looks very tired in some of the interviews after press conferences. I think the media tour is taking a toll on him wheras Conor doesn't seem too affected.
I can't remember anyone ever treating Floyd the way Conor has. If Floyd doesn't let it affect him, he could be the first who hasn't let Conor get in his head leading up to a fight.

I wonder if politics factors into the bad decision.
The philippines are @ war with ISIS and islamic radicals. They're not taking an open border policy like france, uk, germany, italy.
Manny Pacquiao also avoids fighting in Las Vegas as judges robbed him before in his fight with Timothy Bradley.
Pacquiao also said Vegas taxes are too high. That could be why he fought Horn in australia.
