4541  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC to 5000$ soon on: March 18, 2016, 06:42:50 AM
I consider this as not possible for sure, its just not reachable any time soon for sure, its too much for the bitcoin,
Maybe its possible in a few years but not before that, no doubts about that.
i think that it is highly possible if the halving event and the block size increase will happen soon enough, i hope this will surely happen as it would make me some money

besides these two events i dont know why the price should grow that much though anything can happen when it comes to bitcoin price
I also think that these two factors will increase the price more and more until reach to $5000, with that we can have that much bitcoin. We don’t have to lose any hope about the increase in price.
4542  Economy / Economics / Re: Does the Price of Bitcoin Matter? on: March 18, 2016, 05:57:25 AM
Yes i think the price of bitcoin is really matter. If the price of bitcoin is so cheap many people will not use bitcoin and if the price of bitcoin so expensive, many people will use it.

people will use bitcoin whether the price is low or high. it's a currency and an investment tool in one. just look at the early days when bitcoin was only worth around $1 per coin. there is no real difference with how the market and the people were using bitcoin back then and today. the only difference is that the price right now is much higher than when it was worth a few bucks.
You are true, for those people who are using bitcoin as a normal currency for their normal use and not store them then price does not matter, they adopt bitcoin only because of their other features and because of it's demand in day-today business.
4543  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: is gambling fix your life? or wreck your life? on: March 17, 2016, 01:10:02 PM
Gambling has neither fixed or wrecked my life, my life's in balanced state. (not sure for how long  Roll Eyes)
You may have a good knowledge and skill about playing at there that is why you are balanced with it, but some other people who don’t have skills are wrecked with playing there, and are remained with nothing.
4544  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: A teen is given $1K to invest into Bitcoin - what would you recommend for them? on: March 17, 2016, 01:00:14 PM
The best and safest way is just by holding it and wait til the price increase, because the teen wouldn't lose anything and the price would definitely increase.
Yes it the time to hold your bitcoin, as the price is increasing and within a few months due to halving the price will boost and I think will double up. So it will prove a good business and during that time he have to spend some time to learn other ways of earning.
4545  Other / Off-topic / Re: Bitcoin ranks by ownership on: March 17, 2016, 08:44:30 AM
I think this is not a good idea, because Bitcoin users are supposed to be anonym. So we can't just telling people how much Bitcoin we have, because it denying the principle of anonymity.
Yes one thing is that it denies the principle of anonymity and the other thing is that it will require a large time by the experts to suggest some names for it, the other thing is that if someone has some bitcoin as mentioned in rank 1, then it does not mean that he is earnig it through faucet or signature, maybe he has bought it.
4546  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why is gambling so addicting? on: March 17, 2016, 08:21:12 AM
I don't know why but I always get a feeling to gamble, after then losing my money, I quit for some time and then continue, but I know I will lose my btc Sad

Why is it so addictive?

I think every gambler feel that too man. Always want back to gambling and want win back their loses by gambling more later. but you will get more loses.

That's right, every gambler think that the next time will replace his previous loses and win big amount of bitcoins, but in fact most likely he will lose again his hard earned coins.
Yeah, the hope to recover his/her lost money back by playing again stick them to the game and due to this they never leave to gamble again at that place where tey have lost again and again.
4547  Economy / Economics / Re: Why do people keep saying BTC is dead?! on: March 16, 2016, 11:58:53 AM
Most of them are trolls and they are saying these kind of things to influence on the price. Make panic investors do some panic selling.
From what i've learned it's best to ignore these kind of people.
I also think so, people say like that because they want the other people who do not have enough knowledge to sell their bitcoin on lowest price, and so to get bitcoin on low price from them.
4548  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling. Is It Wrong? on: March 16, 2016, 11:52:55 AM
it's not beneficial IMO and is a bad hobby.
I also think like that it is not a good hobby especially for the people nowadays, as nowadays people do not care about their remaining life activities and stay with only one thing and spend hour at there.
4549  Economy / Speculation / Re: How many bitcoins do I need to retire in 20 years? on: March 16, 2016, 09:38:03 AM
Impossible to tell now because there are so many variables, How much exactly would be sufficient for you to retire "in USD"? How much BTC would worth in 20 years "which is impossible to tell lol" but probably around 1000 BTC.

Even if it is USD it is hard to tell also. We dont know if USD will also fall in the coming years. I guess it will the precious stones and metals who will be really valuable in the future.
I think if the banks started to support bitcoins then he can then rely on bitcoins to use them as his retirement fund, because the banks do business with it and give some profit to the owner .
4550  Economy / Speculation / Re: It is Buy time! on: March 16, 2016, 06:28:19 AM
yes, this month is perfect o buy bitcoins, later it will be too late, after halving, prices will be higher than it is now, so buy now or cry later,  i bought much as  i could now

The price is very stable recently. So it is OK to buy now or wait a little longer. But the price will rise in June.
Yes we have still 3 months to buy more bitcoins, after that we cannot buy more bitcoins for future increase but after that we will have to buy it on huge amount of fiat and then to use it.
4551  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: paypal or bitcoin? on: March 16, 2016, 05:53:46 AM
I would go for the bitcoin for many reasons, one of them is because of the fact I was limited by paypal.
Bitcoin is just self controllable that is much better than being controlled by paypal's rules.
We also prefer bitcoin, and you are true that it is convenient and valuable for us other than paypal. But I think you have to announce your searchtrade on announment board. It is a thread to know the opinion of people about bitcoin vs paypal.
4552  Economy / Economics / Re: Where did you first heard about Bitcoins? on: March 16, 2016, 05:32:25 AM
At a garden party in London in the summer 2012. Took me a while to buy my first coins though, unfortunately.
I also heard about bitcoin in 2012 for the first time, but it was not in a garden party or any other offline area, but on the internet a friend suggest me to hold that coin and suggest me to adopt bitcoin to earn online.
4553  Economy / Economics / Re: The future of the paper money on: March 16, 2016, 05:20:38 AM
Paper money is always going to be needed in the future. Many people still don't even know what a Bitcoin is. In addition, many of the world's economies rely on printing it's own money. What we might see is a state sponsored altcoin to compete with Bitcoin. Banks are not in favor of Bitcoin.

Yes the future of paper money is safe and it don't have any threat from bitcoins even now and not even in future as if you compare the uses of bitcoins with fiat then you can get your answer very easily and its never easy to disappear the paper money so easily.
I would say that may only be a few people who use paper money. banknotes will remain valuable even though. I'll admit that digital era where all financial transactions will be completely wiht online. the proof is already visible when you use a credit card for the transaction. for most people rarely carry cash in their wallet. is true
The fact is that the paper money contain a national’s identity, so the nations will strive for the maintenance of its currency, and will leave remain it on certain places of the state.
4554  Other / Off-topic / Re: Worst mistake you did with Bitcoin? on: March 15, 2016, 08:34:05 PM
worst mistake that i was made in bitcoin is, invested on gambling. Yes! I just bet all my bits at hig risk and lost all within a second Sad Shocked

~Rude Boy Kiss

I feel you man.  Me too.  I suffer from genetically being proven to this junk as well.
so sad. lucky me! I was allerted by my friend in the first time I knew bitcoin that investing on gambling is too high risky. so he suggested me not ever to try gambling.
And I say that, not only bitcoin but with any currency, if anyone is going to bitcoin then he do not have to bet with all of his money he have. But he have to invest there only a fraction of his money so that he can check his skills and learn.
4555  Economy / Economics / Re: Why You Should Never Sell Your Bitcoins Ever on: March 15, 2016, 08:24:39 PM
Its good of course to hold your coins. Because otherwise you are going sell it too early and that is not good.
I hope that more people will save it and that they are going to sell it later with profit.
Yes, those people who are well aware with the price strategy of bitcoin will never ever sell their bitcoin, As something great has been going to happen this year with the price of bitcoin which will benefit all the bitcoin holders.
4556  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you still keep a fiat retirement account? on: March 15, 2016, 05:40:25 PM
I will never convert a single penny of my retirement money into anything. It will stay as it is. I am a real Bitcoin believer and I think we will see great things from Bitcoin in the coming years. That's why I am holding a fair amount of coins in cold storage. That will be my bonus retirement money. Smiley
The same is here, I am also a strong believer on bitcoin and according to my views the great thing will happen in this year and for that I also have stored a big amount in cold storage of my wallet and counting days  Roll Eyes.
4557  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can Bitcoin make Banks disappear? on: March 14, 2016, 06:53:38 PM
Can Bitcoin make Banks disappear? This is not important. Why not? Because the studs in the wall have disappeared, being covered by sheet rock or paneling.

Make the banks be really gone.

Cool

bitcoin has a possible to hack and bitcoin value is not stable so its impossible that the banks will be disappear because of bitcoin... do you think guys if you forgot the password or you accidentally deleted your password in your laptop you can recover your account for me no so banks and atm's is always safe than bitcoin.
The two reasons you are mentioning also applicable for banks.
a. In my country many banks gone bankruptcy for many reasons.
b. Many bank deposit gone useless by leaving without nomination or not informing to family.
4558  Other / Off-topic / Re: Why do you have Bitcoin? on: March 14, 2016, 06:14:41 PM
as an investment method and holding them for a price increase, the price multiplied hundreds of times than it used to be before so this can be a decent investment overtime.
using it as an online payment method is good too and the fees are much lower than other competitors
Yeah, it is a better way to pay online . It provides convenient when we see its fees anywhere when we buy through it or we want to send or receive money through it. I don’t know that what will be its future but currently I am here as due to low fees.
4559  Economy / Speculation / Re: sold my alts, all in BTC on: March 13, 2016, 05:51:49 PM
Selling all alts and investing in bitcoin seems to be a good plan. Now at present alts has got high price which gives good profit.
I also did not want to invest into alt coins. Because, they are simply relaying on bitcoin prices. After seeing the collapse of litecoin prices no one will be interested in investing into alt coins for sure.
4560  Economy / Services / Re: [Offering] Mobile verification Services for $1 in BTC per SMS. on: March 13, 2016, 05:47:37 PM
What is the point of this service?  Is it to verify my customers?
When you do not want to share your mobile number, you can use this service. Other than this, for example google do not allow same mobile for creating multiple accounts, then obviously you need to get new numbers.
