My current doctor (the old one's missing) told me that if I highlight shit in pink instead of yellow, it would soothe my anger. It seems to help--SOMETIMES!

...

Now, about that hug you kindly offered me. Can I do it from behind, whereupon I'll stick my dick up your ass? I promise to make it hurt. <think pink... think pink... think pink>

You make me want to play Grand Theft Auto V... You remind me of Trevor... I like your humor. Twisted, and lots of interconnections... Do you have ADD too?

I think you post-count tripled, just from posting in this forum thread, and google is making millions off your searching and link-clicking... Not to mention all the sales AMT racks-up while this thread blows off the "hot charts", staying damn-near #1 for hours on end.
462  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] AIRcoin - Professional Investment, No Fees, Rising Exchange Rate on: February 28, 2014, 10:23:20 AM

Put a link-back to this thread, for the wandering souls with millions of coin questions... With the title listed too, so they know where they are going.

Could also put a link on the wallet page, of the website, for people there to come to this forum for wallet help. (As well as a link to your own forums duplicate posting.)

Shouldn't need more than that, for alternate links.
463  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Official Thread: AMT on: February 28, 2014, 10:14:29 AM
I'll tell you what. Contact them and ask for a refund. If not I will trade you my spot at #1432 for your 1.2 order at #847

That way you don't get a miner you don't want and you have more time to secure a buyer, then if you don't find one by the end of march then you are stuck with the machine you don't want.

Does that qualify for a douche award too? 2nd place winner! Tongue

Ok, this thread is now the dysfunctional tough-love reality-check sorta-help thread for AMT... will that fit as the thread title?
464  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Official Thread: AMT on: February 28, 2014, 10:05:42 AM
Would it be possible to just cancel my order and get a refund? That is what I want. If that is not possible, I will sell my spot to someone. Order #847.

P.S. - Sorry for posting a sap story. I was just unhappy with my situation and had no other way if expressing my feelings regarding it. I did not anticipate my posts being dissected and analyzed so thoroughly. I apologize.

Didn't mean to be such a prick... but you asked for it... JK...

Don't apologize... tell me to fuck-off. Tongue (Makes others feel better. I don't mind being told that, I am not your fiance. I think I might even like it, in a twisted way. Don't lay down so fast!)

Seriously though, I don't doubt you ran into a blast of bad luck, even if induced. Stick it out, and focus on the more important things right now... Your personal finances, and fiance. The miner comes when it comes. It will not be a savior to your issues. Though it may eventually aid in the turning point of your luck.

Take a few days away from the forum, send a decent e-mail to Jim, or a phone-call. You are so close to your secondary objective, but you really need to focus on your first objective. Even a return would actually set you back, more than help you, at this point. (Long-term)

Try selling the 80GHs model you have in your possession. That will be possible to sell now, and impossible to sell later. Also, it will not give you nearly as much reward as the 1.2THs model (1.5THs for us, I believe.) That one you can sell later too, for a lot more, once it is in your hands. By the time you get a break-even return-check for your purchase, the miner would just have been arriving, and then you could have gotten almost 2x more selling it directly to an impatient miner. (Potentially, results may vary.)

Since you felt the need to apologize (though you should not have), then I will too... Sorry for being me. xD

Group hug! JK... Don't touch me!

P.S. That post back there was about two lines away from being a Nigerian-letter... All you needed to add was something about being a prince, and wanting a western-union transfer, and our bank-account numbers. Tongue

P.P.S. Like all those additional hot-google-search-words I threw into the mix... lol
465  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Official Thread: AMT on: February 28, 2014, 09:24:38 AM
lol, this single forum post is going to have soooo many backlinks for google to direct people here for all sorts of oddball things. Google is going to think this is a wiki page of keywords. It is going to choke digesting all 115 pages of (2289 posts).

Here, lets add some more, for google to direct everyone here...

Fastest bitcoin miner, terahash, terrahash, petahash, pettahash, kitchen sink clogged drain, easy home repairs, get more money from your taxes, free credit report, Justin Bieber, free porn, Britney Spears, twitter, facebook, myspace, bitcoin news, North Korea, Yahoo help, mt gox, web md, spyware removal...

Somewhere, seven pages back, is AMT's replies with photos of the 1.2THs miners, and new boards for the 3.4THs miners... But if google brings you here, just go to the news section of AMT's website. They might post the photos there too.

Ok, back to public conversation. Tongue
466  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Official Thread: AMT on: February 28, 2014, 08:50:46 AM
In all fairness (here it goes, me looking like I am defending again)...

I have had many bad start-ups fail. Not sure I would call me a con though. Took a while to find a foundation for me to stand on. But I found one. (Might be my attraction to AMT, subconsciously.)

I found the face-book friend thing funny... it had a twitter thing too... but the page itself only had 158 followers. (Not quite a good selling-point, when it advertises that it gets you thousands of followers. Tongue)

I had a bunch of "instant content" web-plugins like that on my server-package, with c-panel. Never used them though.

This is getting a little over the top now. Seeing more assumptions again. (Well, not seeing the hard-core connections or relevance that you do, to all this stuff.) Still, it is entertaining to read. So I am enjoying it all the same. The best one was the photo of the masonic group. However, I don't think I am anything like my father. Not sure about this situation. (My grandfather was a shady guy... But he made our family a lot of money, still coming years after his passing. I don't ask questions, I just cash the checks. Tongue)

It is clear that they are producing products. So, past events, like those that haunt BFL, have little impact on the present. (Little, not none. Obviously, via the constant posts. Tongue)

You really want some funny stuff... I found my old twitter account... Forgot I had one.
https://twitter.com/ISAWHIM

Wish that friend thing was still running... I could use a few more followers. Tongue

One is linux-compile, one is windows-compile?
468  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] AIRcoin - Professional Investment, No Fees, Rising Exchange Rate on: February 28, 2014, 08:21:02 AM
No, the difficulty mismatch I was talking about, was when the old wallet existed with the new one, and the new one starts adjusting per-block, while the old one keeps thinking 130K is the "new diff", but the diff is actually "95K", or whatever, when the gravity-well adjustments start. (Not the diffs now)

* Diffs stated are what the miner reports, not scrypt-diff... (Divide by 65536 for scrypt-diff)

That was, I assume, why the test-version went buggy with an actual new version number, and those unexpected diffs, on the running-chain. (Has happened before, on conversions like this. I just forget which coin I was on, when this happened.)

Once the diff-adjusts start going, for all of us, you should be able to change the version, internally, without issue. (Once this locked daily-diff is over.)
469  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] AIRcoin - Professional Investment, No Fees, Rising Exchange Rate on: February 28, 2014, 07:36:18 AM
Makes sense, since the diff will be altered... once we are all on that version with the gravity-well, it shouldn't be an issue for future updates...

I think this should have actually been a "hard-fork" update, at the core. To avoid that block-reject issue, or getwork issue. (I assume it is that, due to the mismatched diffs.)

Only 200 more blocks left... hurry-up... I want to be awake when it hits... lol... Throw 600MHs at the coin!

Cool, I almost have 2000 coins already. Can I buy a Tesla with that, or another solowheel?
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=w2PATMZFEJo

Solowheel, the official transportation of AIRcoin... It is like riding on AIR!

Yes, there is no handle...
Yes, we have no bananas...

I wasn't joking to the other guy when I told him to mine TEKcoin once he got his miner... His second miner... delivered to wherever he is living now.

That was honest advice/help, and all I could offer him.

That, and if you got the flare for real market dominance... FireFlyCoin... (Ignore the price of that one. That does not matter to you now. Got to look into the future, after you consume 20%-50% of that coin output with your THs miners. That is one you want to start buying, after you mine the crap out of it, and hold it. Miners will come after, and you get all the easy-mined coins and cheap ones you buy.)

471  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Official Thread: AMT on: February 28, 2014, 07:04:06 AM
Isawhim,

just want you to now the bitter old fuck comment was definitely not pointed at you. you actually seem calmer than most and you still have a sense of hummer.

Oh, but I am... Tongue (In between my screwed-up humor, which few get.)
That was a guilt-response... xD

Others here can confirm my assertion to being a dick... a bitter old guy... a douche... Tongue (Guilty)

But I am still human. (Until proven otherwise, by three independent groups, of my designation.)
472  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Official Thread: AMT on: February 28, 2014, 07:00:52 AM
I agree with "buying is better than mining"... But I do both. There are advantages to both. Especially on the alt-coins. (You will be surprised how easily you can manipulate value in your favor, mining the alts, solo. Can't manipulate much by just throwing coins at a market alone. Buying and waiting turns it into a spectator sport... You are just riding with hope of returns, not altering the returns potential much.)

Trust me, there is more than plenty of alts to spread the hash-rate among. Once you start hoarding those coins, and not cashing-out... it will reduce the number of coins they have to cash-in, causing them to ask for more. (Or rather, no longer settle for less.) If YOU cash-out as you earn, YOU are the one destroying the value. Which can also work in your favor, to drive-off other miners from the coin, so you get more coins! (It is a comical never-ending cycle.) You just don't want to kill a coin that you hold.
473  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Official Thread: AMT on: February 28, 2014, 06:51:30 AM
One last question....Does anyone think these RIGS will make ROI at 1.5TH/s?

Will we ever make our 12K back? Or are we doomed to fail due to this opened marketing?

~SSgt Merry

Um, 12K would have been 2 miners, so 2.4-3.0GHs... Yes, it should ROI. Give it a year of steady mining on choice coins, at the right time, and you should have no problem covering your assets. I will help, if you don't mind my crazy chatter.
474  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Official Thread: AMT on: February 28, 2014, 06:33:41 AM
OMG they are freemasons! (That is soooo funny, and cute, at the same time.)

They do still exist! (Old joke.)

Not saying it is... but it looks photo-shopped. (The two guys in front, close to the camera have tiny heads. Just looks odd that the ones further away, in the background are so much unproportionally larger. Weird effect on the camera too. Looks like an old 1890's box-camera took the photo.)

Now THAT is good detective work! Creepy almost... but good. (Not sure if it is helping AMT or hurting them. Now that I know they are masons... I want to buy even more stuff from them! Tongue)

Phinnaeus Gage, the more you dig-up, the more real it makes AMT look... Was that your point? I forget now. Tongue (Kudo's on the deep-searching. You impress me now.)
475  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Official Thread: AMT on: February 28, 2014, 06:18:06 AM
One other question. will bitcoin mining make me a bitter old fuck like a lot of senior members on this forum? Not pointed at anyone directly, just that I'm starting to see a pattern here

Not sure, I was born this way... bitter and old. Tongue

I think it is a matter of the chicken and the egg... did mining make us bitter, or was it our bitterness that made us mine? That is the question. xD
476  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] AIRcoin - Professional Investment, No Fees, Rising Exchange Rate on: February 28, 2014, 05:09:03 AM
Shhh, that is our secret to getting all the first coins... tell the whole world and diff rises to 10.5 and our reward goes from 80 a day to 0.01 a day... Tongue

Once this hits coinwarz or coinchoose... (after being valued on an exchange), it will turn into every-other-coin quickly, before it settles-in to a nice foundation.

Wallet updated... waiting for the cross-over block now. (Still says v0.8.6.2-gda10b75-beta, in the "About AIRcoin" menu.)

Hope that doesn't make the network reject the blocks/client... internally it shows the same too. While running in the info.

But the zip-file has the correct version, so I think I am good... unless he packed the wrong one. I'll find out in about 300 more blocks! lol
477  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Official Thread: AMT on: February 28, 2014, 04:51:49 AM
PSS: Thank you, ISAWHIM, for setting my straight on the exif aspect. The post was only meant for full-disclosure purposes to put crazies (other's words, not mine), like me, to rest. It is so easy to come across as a viable entity. In fact, so is scamming, but these fucks, across the board, continue to trip all over themselves when they try it.

Gotcha... Hope they don't sew you... That hurts... Tried it before. 9 stitches, no Novocaine! Tongue

(SIDENOTE: Did anyone here that saw my videos today, think I was "stalking" or "threatening" at all? Did I give off that vibe?)

No, but... (big but...) They did ask you not to come. (As you pointed out in the prior post. However... Not sure that was appropriate of them, since they invited you, on that same respect. Via the website invitation to pick-up your miner. You should be safe from being sewn too. Tongue)

However, the video thing, is sort-of an invasion of privacy, if they opened the door and you had it running. That is something which would normally require express permission. (Just adding that as a note, not a judgement on you or them. I would have invited you in. But that is not my business. xD I would have gotten fired.)

You did US a favor... So if anyone is guilty of stalking, it is all of us customers... (Not sure that qualifies as stalking, since they are holding our funds.)

Except for Clenell.. he would be stalking if he visited them.. Tongue JK.. (Actually he would.)

Ok, back to my corner... no video (not the one I wanted)

P.S. That mini-board makes me want the 3.2THs one now. I can fit them all in a 20x10x20 cm box! Tongue
478  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Official Thread: AMT on: February 28, 2014, 04:19:03 AM
Clenell, Congratulations on your new addition... (Though, I am sure you wish it was a miner being delivered by the doctor. Wait, it was! She is a miner. Tongue)

No chance that her name is going to be ISAWHER... Didn't think so.

Nice pics of the miners. Even better knowing that there will be 6 boards for the early-orders, um... late-orders... first-orders... whatever. Tongue

Can't wait to see what it can do.

P.S. Exif data is not always present in every image... even on phones. Depends on the phone and the program converting the image, and the image-host. It is optional anyways, and image converters don't retain that non-image data. It is "Extra-Info", added beyond the image data. Why exactly do you need to know where the boards are being assembled? Just curious...

P.P.S. That is a HUGE heat-sink... Little overkill huh? lol. Even 1200 watts would not need that large of a heat-sink. Might want to look into stamped-fin heat-sinks. They are a lot cheaper than extrude-molded heat-sinks of that physical volume. (They are essentially just layers of "L" bent aluminum-sheets, sonic-welded or spot-welded to a base. Hundreds of fins for great surface-area cooling, which can be half the height of those fins.) The copper heat-sinks are a nice touch, but a simple low-profile fan-spread aluminum heat-sink would have worked there too.

I am going to have sooo much fun playing with this thing. just wish the back-plane was flexible, not rigid. I would much rather have something with a little more play and flex, when heat makes the hard-mounted boards expand and stress that back-plane solder joints on the pins. Plus, when I go low-profile, or liquid submerged, I could have put the boards closer together. Still, after I strip-off the heat-sinks, I should be able to fit two of the 6-board units inside one another. Like shuffled cards, but one turned 180-deg to the other one. Lots of potential for a mini 3THs cube here.

I honestly don't know what to say when people say things like:

"Ohh a bunch of idiots had a bunch of imaginary money and lost it all.  What a shocker!"

How do you even write a response to that?

-B-

You tell them that it's not imaginary... It's not... It's not... I was in OZ!
Then stamp your feet and run away crying. Tongue (That is what I do.)
