I released this coin as a test Crypto only at the start but a few members of the community said they liked it and would like the test heading removed and for the coin to continue.

Today I had a PM from a user saying that this coin could be harmful for the community and that it should be killed, as it could be used for crime and give the community a bad name.

My logic is that what type of criminal would use Crimecoin for any kind of criminal activity? Would that not be just plain stupid or in a reverse reverse physiology way, a very clever thing to do?

Anyway, this poll is for 7 days, after that, whatever the poll reveals is what will happen with Crimecoin and it will be with immediate effect.

I always let the community choose the path of any coin I develop, fork or clone.

I was going to kill it, this was listed at the start as a "test only" coin but then the community wanted the test part removed and wanted to mine it.

I can do a poll if you would like which will be a simple one, should Crimecoin be halted and the chain killed or do people want it to carry on.

It should be for the general community to decided?

Also what Criminal in their right mine would would Crimecoin, for criminal activity?

The original post has been updated to make it laid out better and more in line with the other coins.

We have now surpassed the 100,000 coins margin, meaning that that the very small pre mine of 30,000 which already given out at the start is gone.

This is truly an honest and free coin, with only the current miners getting their nice stockpiles.

You don't want to miss out while the difficulty is still low.

I am wondering why this coin is not getting much interested. Little to no premine. Now over 100,000 coins mined.

Is it the name that is putting people off?

This charity has been setup in case this coin does get on any exchanges, two of which have been contacted.
