461  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: [In Stock] Batch 8! Gridseed miners in Stock in Los Angeles. [$225] on: March 13, 2014, 11:47:51 PM
So...."in stock" but ships in "2 weeks"?  I don't get it...which is it?
462  Bitcoin / Group buys / Re: [WTB] 100TH OR 100MH FOR SHA AND SCRYPT on: March 13, 2014, 11:46:49 PM
Why don't you try looking through the threads or posting in the correct sub-forum to start?  Laziness or some other excuse?
463  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: BTC miner for sale on: March 13, 2014, 11:46:01 PM
Only double the cost of an antminer, great deal!
464  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: The first Bitcoin Solar mining device coming soon - SolarMiner USB2 machine on: March 13, 2014, 11:43:08 PM
Thanks for this post, gave me a good chuckle.  Great DIY project but I can't see any reason to ever purchase such a device...
465  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Alpha Technology Litecoin (Scrypt) ASIC Miner Development on: March 13, 2014, 11:41:21 PM
anyone who is dumb enough to give btc/money to this obvious scam deserves to lose it all. We are not in the bfl/avalon era anymore. No sympathy when you come here whining in Sept for non-delivery.

It's not the question of whether it is a scam, but a question of value. Viper 5Mhs probably cost no more than £50 each to make and they are selling it for £1600 ish.

I'd love to hear how you came up with £50...I'm assuming you're not taking anything but parts into account.
466  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [GUIDE] GridSeed Miner Support/Tuning on: March 13, 2014, 11:12:39 PM

I just made an image, gridseed supported.
Just write image it to 4gb sdcard, stick it into your pi, fire up. Miners should start automatically after you've entered mining pool.
Hope this helps.

I am sorry, first upload was bad.....

Thanks to all from litecointalk, who made this possible.

Let me know if that works for you.

Sorry, but can someone tell me what needs to be done step by step once the image has been copied over?

I can access the page and enter a pool but when I restart it never starts mining...

Wow, nobody's said  that in this thread before!  So original, please talk to us like we're 12 years old...

Does anyone know how many total coins there will be?

Does it matter?  They'll all be stolen.   Shocked

^^ Need a windows compiled version, but I could give it a shot with 5 x 5 chip units.   Grin

I give this my I Haven't Tried It And It May Take A Custom INF stamp.

Need sleep but I'll poke that on Windows tomorrow and see how it shakes out.

Works for me, any way I can specify COM ports to be used and others to be ignored?  Also how to ignore my GPU's?  OCL0, OCL1, OCL2

+100

Barwizi's got some great shit coming, although you guys can feel free to continue selling me your NRS at these absurdly low prices.

This weekend we hope to have our pool deployed for everyone to use.  Right now we are still privately testing it.  It has a bug and few tweaks still that we need to correct before we are comfortable releasing it to everyone.  We also need to choose a VPS to host it that has some DDOS protection so our private host does not get smashed.

It is based on the coyote miner so for your clients you will use that.  However we have a web interface integrated and automated payouts unlike the coyote server which was manual and had no web interface.  I expect that we should have everything in place this weekend for everyone to start testing it.

i am interested in this pool and new miner.  if you need an additional beta tester i would be happy to help. if youre not looking for beta testers, can you tell us where your pool is and allow people to signup/register early.  how is your early testing going?

Thanks for the offer but at the moment we have enough testers.  When it is ready for testing by everyone I will post the pool URL and miner connection information.  Early testing has been going well, it has been finding blocks and sending payments as they mature.  However we took a few shortcuts in our programming as this was more a proof of concept to prove it would work.  Just need to clean that up a little for performance and security and tweak some things on the web interface.

The miner itself is the same coyote miner by bytemaster, all our modifications are on the server side and work with the existing binaries.  You can download precompiled one for your platform from here:
https://bitsharestalk.org/index.php?topic=636.0

Or compile your own pool_miner using the source from here:
https://github.com/InvictusInnovations/coyote_miner

What is the latest on the pool?
