Norwich is playing against Burnley right now.
Norwich have a lot of chances of scoring but Burnley is a better team so I think that they are going to hit them on counter attack.
I bet for an over 0,5 in the first half...
482  Economy / Economics / Re: Do Not Pray for an Economic Crisis! on: July 17, 2020, 08:41:03 AM
What would the price be if an Economic Crisis occurred?

Bitcoin was launched 2009 and we have not witnessed many economic disasters except that occurred recently when CovID-19 pandemic was announced.

We realized that if there is an Economic Crisis and people lose their jobs, people will buy coins to put food on the table. They will not think about investing but will have enough money to save.

The price increased spectacularly from early 2016 to the end of 2017, the same saw the stock market and S&P500 improve by 50%.

The rise of the Bitcoin price didn't happen people of the economic collapse in 2009.
It happened because the bond rates was very low and the economy was accelerating.
We don't have any benefits from an economic decline really...
483  Economy / Economics / Re: Biggest winner during COVID? on: July 17, 2020, 08:37:56 AM
We are aware that most of the countries economy has gone for a toss and many are at the brink of collapse but who has been the biggest winner of this pandemic? is it corporate medical industry who are charging abnormous fee for treatment or else a particular regime who is silently buying stakes of major groups at lower price during this situation? Do you think this was a man-made virus to destabilize the world's economy and buy huge shares so that a vaccinations can be rolled out once the enough damage is made ?

The biggest winner of the pandemic is going to be the firm that will produce the vaccine for this virus.
It is said that more than 4 billion people are going to be vaccined after the vaccine will go on public.
Even if this vaccine costs 1 dollar we sum up to 4 billion dollars.

PSG will probably have a problem with match fitness. I don't know how they will prepare but most of other teams will be in perfect condition going into the CL games.

Even if PSG manages to play some friendly games, it will still be hard to reach the same level as their opponents. Considering it's a one-legged contest, there is no room for mistakes or extra preparations.

That's defnitely going to be a disadvantage for PSG. On the other hand you could argue that their players will be well rested after almost 5 months without any official matches  Grin I think Bayern and Leipzig have the best time schedule for the Champions League tournament in August. They had competition practice in the Bundesliga, still had time to give their players some days off for holiday and can now focus completely on the preparation for the remaining UCL matches. That's why I see Bayern as a big favourite to get the title this season.

Bayern is one the main favorites for CL title, but one should not leave out some other teams as well, primarily City, that is in great form at the end of Premier league
i would call for Atalanta as well, they are underdogs, but great team in great form
Leipzig does not have a team that could get the title, it is too much for them, IMO

Bayern is going to win the Champions League only if Lewandowski is going to be on top form in all games.
They have a great team but teams like Real Madrid or Barcelona seem to be stronger.
Lewandowski is a player that should win a Champions League title with Bayern for sure.

Jerome Boateng is past his peak, he should to to the PL, somewhere like Arsenal or Spurs, he can earn a good wage & not have the pressure & demand for success that exists with Bayern.

Boateng is a great player but he doesn't have a decent behavior.
He lost his chance to be a top class player after he joined Milan and showed that he has a lot of skills.
Now I think it is too late and it would be a better choice to join Everton for example.

Ferrari needs to instantly change drivers.
There is not clear to them who is the first driver and who is the second in the team.
This is why drivers collide in so many races. The problem is administrative in the team and needs to be solved as soon as possible.

Ferrari need to get rid of Vettel right now. Unfortunately they can't.
Vettel used to be undisputed lead driver at Ferrari. He has since been outperformed by Leclerc, and has lost that number one status. To make things worse, he was apparently not even offered a new contract. He is driving for a team who have lost faith in him, and I'm sure given what's happened and the extremely poor car they have this year, he has lost faith in them, too.

Vettel is no longer a Ferrari driver, he is simply a driver in a Ferrari car. They don't want him there, he doesn't want to be there.

For the rest of this season he is driving purely for himself, which absolutely destroys any remaining team dynamic.

You got the point right, I totally agree with you.
Vettel was number one in Ferrari but he stopped performing well and Leclerc is the number one driver now due to his performance status.

If your chicken expires on 14/7, would you still cook it and feed your family?
I would not cook it and feed to my family, i would not risk my stomach even it's on the fridge it can cause diarrhea. I just buy new and fresh meat in the market.

You are not going to have stomach problems by cooking a meat or chicken that has expired one day ago.
Companies are giving slack expiration dates for this reason. They want to protect their brands as well.
488  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: July 17, 2020, 08:21:37 AM
I think that the fight for the 4th and final Champions League spot is the most interesting thing remaining to watch in the Premier League.Any of the three teams like Chelsea,Leicester and Manchester United can see themselves in the fifth place during the last upcoming games.I bet on Manchester United to be in at least 4th place by the end of the season.

All teams are performing well.
I think that it will be judged in detail and the team with the easiest remaining schedule is going to get the third position.
489  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: July 17, 2020, 08:19:45 AM
Let me count over top leagues in the Europe, there are 4 leagues already find their champions:
- Bundesliga: Bayern Munich
- Premier League: Liverpool
- La Liga: Real Madrid
- Ligue I: PSG

This season, only La Liga and Serie A have interesting and close race to the title but the latter already ends, how about the former? Serie A's current table shows that soon Juventus will celebrate their title this season. Does anyone disagree with my opinion?

Serie A has also found their Champions.
It is just a matter of time to officially declare them as Champions of Serie A.
490  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2019/20 on: July 17, 2020, 08:18:28 AM
Congratulations to Real Madrid for winning the title.
They totally deserved it and Barcelona showed again that they were very bad this season.
I hope that next season they are going to be more competitive.

Wearing mask do really help to lessen or reduce the transmission of the virus not just covid19 but also other transmittable diseases. I'm sure that in most countries that has many cases, there's a blame game to the government by its people.

The people has their rights to say whatever they say but it's a fact that it will never help. They can criticize but not up to the point that they will divide the people with the fight against the virus, they can later on criticize badly if they want to when the covid's gone.

Masks indeed can help reduce the transmission of the virus.
However, people do not use masks properly and they touch the mask from the wrong sites.
This creates more transmission and actually masks do more harm than good...
492  Other / Off-topic / Re: What to do with a barking dog on: July 15, 2020, 08:45:58 AM
get a "shocking" collar.
It is activated with the barks.
My neighbor had a fucking annoying dog that barked all the time.
I asked them to do something, they bought a collar, the dog stopped barking the following day.
Now it is quiet.

It is not the best solution as the dog is going to suffer.
There is a reason that barks, maybe he smells something or it feels pain and it barks.
You just have to find the reason that causes the bark and then it is going to stop.
493  Other / Off-topic / Re: To afraid to travel due to Covid-19 on: July 15, 2020, 08:06:10 AM
How can you decided to have a trip when the whole world is still suffering from Covid-19! Think about your life first and feel free to cancle your trip. I think  It would be better for you

There are people who do not believe in covid and they are not afraid of their lives.
Most of them don't have any relative that suffered from covid.
I think that we should not go anywhere this year and stay on domestic land. Next year we can travel abroad.

I have felt the same when looking at old topics that may be still on going but I have made comments years ago.
You realize that we grow old and the time flies so fast.

If your chicken expires on 14/7, would you still cook it and feed your family?
If it is the same date as the expired date then I would cook it.
Otherwise I won't. To tell you the truth, even if you cook it the next day from the expiration date you are not going to have any health problems as those dates are just indications with slack times on them.
496  Other / Off-topic / Re: Simple Ways To Live A Happy Life on: July 15, 2020, 07:17:30 AM
Be positive, not negative. Be truthful, not deceitful. Be honest, not bogus.

Removing negativity is a good reason to be happy.
However, if you are going to work every day you receive a lot of negativity there which is sometimes difficult to be removed during your day.
497  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2019/20 on: July 15, 2020, 06:57:38 AM
Congrats on your win, but I find betting on this low odds always tricky. I have lost too many bets with similar odds in the past. Minimum odd for me is around 1.7; but everybody needs to play the bets that he/she likes. There are even people placing bets with an odd of 1.01 (and sometimes they still loose  Tongue).

I don't think there is any doubt that Real Madrid will win the title this year.
1.43 is little reasonable, I also had a friend who would place bet with very low odds like 1.10, and he would sometimes lose  Grin
As for me, I am usually attracted to odds of 1.95+ and my favourite is Under or Over 2.5 Goals where the probability of winning the bet is 1/2.

There is no point in betting on such low odds.
If there are so low odds better bet on a combined bet such as the amount of goals scored. Eventually, La Liga is a championship that a lot of goals are getting scored.
498  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: July 15, 2020, 06:55:15 AM
So Barca would have to sell like 3-4 players to get to that amount that will be use to sign one single player...sounds like a good deal

They have Coutinho and Dembele that they can sell and get that 70m Euro covered up easily. Selling these players can solve their financial problems that they are going through also. But question is are any clubs interested in them?
There would be so many teams that would sign them.
Especially Coutinho is a player that can add a lot of value when playing on the first team. I think that he is going to return back to Premier league.
499  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Motosport General discussion tread --- Formula1, MotoGP, WTCC, ETCC, DTM..... on: July 15, 2020, 06:53:21 AM
Yesterday was a good race. Not with the same action that we saw in the first race but a good overall race. Both Ferrari drivers had their fault in the incident.Leclerc has got to Vettel but also Vettel was not careful at all by not checking his mirrors. The major fault is of Leclerc but this incident could have been avoided.

Ferrari needs to instantly change drivers.
There is not clear to them who is the first driver and who is the second in the team.
This is why drivers collide in so many races. The problem is administrative in the team and needs to be solved as soon as possible.

Change driver??, Ferrari always make a driver change but this and the last year the most problem is the management. Many very good drivers and world champion broke at Ferrari and fall short of expectations. Ferrari is a special team with much pressure to win the championship. I think the last Ferrari driver the can form a long winning Ferrari team over years are Schumacher and Lauda.

Do you real think that Ferrari can win the constructors championship with a Rotation of Vettel and Leclerc?
Even if they had the same car like Mercedes they will never win it. Both drivers are arrogant and they are not team players. Just see how Bottas react in the races when he is driving along Hamilton.

If they had the car they could certainly win the constructors championship, but issue is not the car.Issue with Ferrari is the race management and pit wall with Binotto at the top. They make bad calls when it's the most important and that is what needs to be fixed first, not the drivers.

I agree that they have a huge management problem.
This creates a problem to the drivers decision. If Binotto had made clear about the lineup and the driving styles that both drivers should follow we would not have such collides.

Very poor performance from the boys if you ask me, yeah we won but leading by just one goal in a game as importance and decisive as it was, was a very risky one. Giroud needs to up his game, he could have easily scored more goals if he finished properly by hitting the ball well and had. Williams has been superb since the restart of the league and I think he deserves the 3 years contract he's seeking for instead of the 2years Lampard has offered him.

We have very tough opponents next in all competition back to back, from United to Liverpool, wolves and bayern but judging from the way the boys played yesterday, I'm not convinced if we can win all matches. I was just disappointed last night but happy we got the 3 points anyway.

It is the end of the season and it is normal for them to think and plan about the next season.
Indeed the performance was very poor and they might have lost the point in the end but we look on the positive side. Keep it up for the third position blues.
