481  Economy / Gambling / Re: Casinos not asking for KYC to register and play, but do require it to withdraw on: December 24, 2023, 11:03:40 AM
I'm pretty sure I've made this point already in this thread, but if you're gambling, you're likely hoping that you hit some crazy winning streak or maybe a monster win on a slot machine to make yourself millions right?  Well, if that's your plan then you have to assume that no casino is going to let you withdraw millions of dollars without doing some sort of KYC.  So if you're gambling without KYC for whatever reason and you aren't going to be able to provide that for whatever reason, you are limiting yourself to only losing.  That isn't a winning strategy in my book.

That's why its crazy to assume that a casino will not implement a KYC especially if this scenario comes to a player since for sure they would provably ask that so they can verify something to the winners side.

Also players should not expect anything like there's a casino will do a NO KYC thing in there casino since for sure all those casino claim thay they would not ask anything like that will implement this. Also for sure that they might get an issue on some jurisdiction that's why if they want to became legal with those country for sure they comply and if they will not do it then maybe there's something shady will happen on them.

It's easy to know if a casino would ask a KYC or not. Check if they have a license, if they do, then expect that they will require a KYC anytime soon because it's a mandate from their regulators to make their customers comply with the basic requirement, probably they would delay to some customers but they are still subject for KYC in the long run.

The only casino that would not require a KYC are those that are not regulated, but you know the inherent risk to that because when they aren't regulated, there's no assurance also if they'll stay in the business for long.

Tell me a non KYC casinos (non regulated) that are still operating now, and how long have they been operating?

Wow! The Lakers are back in the winning column at the expense of the Oklahoma Thunder. What a game by Lebron James, he made a season-high 40 points. OKC still played well but it was too late. OKC just couldn't stop the Lakers' momentum starting in the 2nd quarter and it was around 30 points lead in the 3rd quarter. This could be an off-night for OKC and the Lakers were on the road determined to end their losing streak. Still, OKC should learn from games like this. They need to be better, especially during the playoffs when they are facing teams that have deep experiences.

Yes, Lebron was back, OKC needs to do a better offense if they want to minimize the production of Lebron, but since this team mostly relies on their offense, that's why they would loss when their opponents played good defense and offense at the same time. Never seen Lebron played perfect this season, this was probably his best game this season and it was on a much needed win as they were in a losing streak.

I think OKC really miss the service of another big man Josh Giddey, he was out due to injury, and that Lakers were able to take advantage on that.

Good job OP! Welcome to bitcoin investment. With bitcoin, you know it's safer and more secured rather than putting your funds into altcoins. Even though the price is quite costly, but once you see your future profits, it's always worth the wait. With bitcoin long term hodling, you know that there are massive profits waiting ahead if you only know how to manage your investment and be more patient to hold for long term.

My piece of advice is that, just continue to be positive with bitcoin regardless of its high volatility. If you have established faith, then rewards will be huge in the future.

485  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022–23 PBA Commissioner's Cup on: December 23, 2023, 02:43:34 PM
Another win by Magnolia here. Just asking, what was the pregame betting handicap for Converge? I'm just curious because the last time Magnolia won they didn't cover the spread.

The game was quite entertaining until the Magnolia started to have a big run, and that has changes the complexion of the game. Weaker teams  when they are down against a stronger team, they seemed to give up easily, and that's probably what happen to the Converge.

I suggest (based on my observation), if we want to win betting against the Magnolia, might consider betting on the first half only, either ML or handicap, I think it will work.
486  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Which one is fun, watching with bet or without a bet? on: December 23, 2023, 02:12:38 PM
That is why we cannot be completely confident in our skills because only luck will determine whether you will win or not even if you choose the team that is in the best form this season.
We know if our skills could increase our winning percentage, it's ourselves that we are handling, so we have to be honest with our capabilities in gambling. Actually not only luck could help us win, otherwise if that is true then gambling is boring. The only reason why people return to gambling after they tried, is not because they are entertain but because they are challenge, at least most of the time.

One of the things that should be done and applied is that first maybe you should not put too high expectations wherever you bet and second as much as possible you should put the amount you can afford if you end up losing, these two things will make you okay and minimize your disappointment.

That's always have to be practice, "bet what you can afford to lose", this lines aren't new, but question is, did everyone followed it?
487  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Who says you can't be a millionaire in sports betting? on: December 23, 2023, 09:59:15 AM
Well It's not all about patience, It's some kind of being consistent and having enough funds for gambling,
patience also plays a big factor in successful gambling. With patience, you'll understand that it's a long journey and not an overnight success. I think some gamblers think that winning is easy, that's why they lost either in short or in the long run because of their wrong mindset.

Also if you want to have a big profit in gambling, Don't borrow money and have a self limitations so that you were able to check your spending time ang value. Having this kind of attitude and mindset towards gambling will give you more benefits and will prevent you to experience tragic losses.

Limitations are just to minimize the risk of losing. If we are talking about winning here, the right strategy, right bankroll and patience, that's the major factor you need to win.
488  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Inoue vs Tapales for Unified Super Bantamweight Title - December 26 on: December 23, 2023, 08:38:02 AM
Those who are hoping for an upset here and has actually placed a bet for it will definitely enjoy the very high odds for Tapales. That's 8.60. If it is to be translated to the probability of Tapales winning this match, that would only be around 10% chance of winning.
That's 11.6% using https://www.aceodds.com/bet-calculator/odds-converter.html.

A very slim chance of winning, that's why it deserved a high payout, but honestly, even at the odds, if I'll bet on Tapales I wouldn't be too confident with my bet as I know how strong Inoue is. He can end this fight early if he will be more aggressive than usual, but knowing him, he has matured a lot and knows how to attack based on the right timing.

Honestly, I can't see how Tapales can upset Inoue. In terms of points Inoue is clearly more agile than Tapales so he could earn points easily. In terms of power Inoue is also more dangerous than Tapales. Tapales could even be knocked out in this fight.

If we don't believe him but we need to support him, it's advisable not to bet on the fight and just watch the game. At least, if he loss, we don't need to spend our money although we can spend a bit of emotion. Grin
489  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Gifted wife with bitcoin money on birthday and wife happily gifted BTC logo on: December 22, 2023, 11:18:12 PM
Happy birthday to your wife OP. It's a good thing that you actually both share the love for bitcoin. Bitcoin may be complicated at first, but when you come to understand it well, you will realize that bitcoin is very precious to hold. I hope you will grow your bitcoins together and for me that's very possible as long as you keep supporting each other most especially when it comes to finances that bitcoin is mostly concern about.

However, since you gifted your wife with bitcoin, then you must teach her as well how to secure his bitcoin and hold it for long term. Bitcoin will likely to gain its huge potentials when it's safely hold for years in a secured wallet.
490  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Will you use platforms offering AI help for crypto trading in 2024? on: December 22, 2023, 09:54:08 PM
When it comes to trading using my own hard-earned money, definitely I will not let AI control my trades because the chances to be successful is very slim. I would prefer to work on it through my own knowledge and skills in trading. There'll be some inevitable losses and it's normal for traders. But risking my funds just to adopt AI in my trades, that would never be possible.

Probably if I'm born with a golden spoon, I will try to adopt AI in my trades and just come what may, but I'm just a regular trader so I would stick using my own stocked knowledge in crypto trading.
491  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: STOP! Before you become a prey of a scammer! on: December 22, 2023, 09:12:07 PM
Know what you are doing and know who you are dealing and trusting. If you easily trust and rely on other people, you will only get scammed in the end. Scamming is very rampant with regards to crypto and these people will do everything to make us fall into their traps. But we can totally avoid it if we have adequate knowledge in crypto.

Paid channels or apps are not made for us to reach our crypto goals, but it's there to make them take advantage on us by buying on their app or channel. With the use of AI, it even make their jobs easier to take an edge over us. But if we stick to our own knowledge and  established insights about crypto based from our own research, we will never easily fall on their traps.
492  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Teofimo Lopez Vs. Jamaine Ortiz WBO Welterweight Title February 8 on: December 22, 2023, 03:21:45 AM
Jemaine Ortiz is not a patsy and if Teofimo will take it easy and take him for granted just like what he did to Kambosos and Sandor Martin, he will find himself in big trouble, Ortiz is capable he may be a cherry-picked fighter but it's not an easy fighter to deal with, although Loma beat him by a unanimous decision, he shows that he can keep up with a tough fighter like Loma.
The fight is on Kambosos if he is in tough shape then he can easily beat Ortiz but if he takes it easy Jemaine can give a tough fight, it's going to be interesting in the first 3 rounds of the fight.

If Lopez cherry-picked him then Lopez camp believe that they will win. No one would cherry picked a fighter that they think will give a trouble to the champion, so this isn't too interesting IMO. Maybe if this is mandatory, then we can discuss that Jamaine Ortiz  has a decent chance of beating Lopez.

As per in the Jr. Welterweight ranking in WBO which is Teofimo Lopez is the current champion, Jamaine Ortiz is only ranked at number 11, so that says a lot about this as a cherry picked fight which Teofimo won't have a problem dealing with.
493  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Boxing Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: December 22, 2023, 02:46:57 AM

But for the supporters of Tapales, the ML is already juicy to them. Tapales pulling an upset will be the biggest shock in boxing to happen this year.

They can just stick with the Moneyline. I'm using a different bookie than what was posted, Tapales to win has a 8.60 ML, so that's really attractive.

Actually I haven't place my bet yet but I like to play around with the markets that are already available.
Based on what I see upon checking, looks like the range per rounds aren't available yet. I'm waiting for that one as it's where I can see some very attractive odds.

Currently, this is the only odds that I'm quite attracted.

Asian total - under 5.5 with 2.30 odds

With that odds, seems decent though it can be fulfil if Tapales will try to exchange punches in early rounds but if Tapales will use hi tactics which he's more on trying to outscored is opponents, he may exceed with that rounds and maybe survive up to the end of 12 rounds, just speculating though, as we don't know if what preparation and how he will esecute his strategy.

Maybe waiting for more option, it may be provided during the live event, let see if what will going to come up from most bookies.

Tapales doesn't have the quickness to hit Inoue and score consistently, so his best chance here is to counter punch Inoue and be more aggressive in the fight so he will not feel inferior against the beast.

And with that to happen, I'm expecting that the fight will end early, either Inoue or Tapales will be KO, as long as it will fall within the first to fifth rounds, that's money. This is just my personal perception on the fight though, anything could happen, but I studied all the fights of Inoue, it ends up mostly in KO. In case Inoue will dictate the fight and Tapales will refuse to engage once he felt the power of Inoue, then there's a chance that the under 5.5 rounds will lose.
494  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: You lose more when you over trade on: December 21, 2023, 08:59:25 PM
Professional traders never resort into overtrading because that will only put their trades on a higher risk of losing. But newbies are still learning on trading, so their concepts are not as good and precise like skillful traders are. Instead of trading at their own risk, they chose to trade more often thinking that it's the best possible way to earn bigger amount of profits. The moment they lose, that's when they realized that overtrading does not work for them, and even to all traders out there.

For me, it's a good thing that they learn at the start. So if they tend to overtrade, that's okay. They will learn eventually their lesson and will not repeat the same mistake again.

Let's try that strategy which is betting against the public on games tomorrow.

Maybe let's help each other here to determine which side is on the public.

Game 1 : ROAD WARRIORS -2.5 vs BLACKWATER BOSSING +2.5

Game 2 : Bolts +2.5 vs Ginebra -2.5

My personal analysis, on game 1, the public bet will be on the Warriors -2.5, so the pick should be on Bossing. And on the 2nd game, it's obvious that Ginebra will get the public attraction, so the Pick will be Bolts +2.5.

Does it make sense?
497  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2023-2024 betting on: December 21, 2023, 11:30:05 AM
Okay, let's get it moving to the upcoming games fellas!

We have some exciting games coming ahead, and based on my taste, these are the games that I like to bet on.

Pelicans vs Cleveland
Indiana vs Memphis
Magic vs  Bucks
Clippers vs OKC
Lakers vs Minnesota

The most anticipated, battle of the worst teams.  Grin

Wizards vs Trail Blazers.

I'm not betting yet, I'll leave that up to you guy. Tell me, what game should we bet and on what team?
498  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: December 21, 2023, 10:10:42 AM
Do you have any idea for new poll? Let me know so I can change it. For now I'm going to change it to first 30 wins.
It may change this time because Bucks and Timberwolves are going great as well.

Well, teams like the Celtics and 76ers also have a good chance in this poll.
Celtics won the last poll, they might win again as they still retain the number 1 spot overall. But let's take a look at the Bucks, they are having a good run, currently a 5 win streak and counting... who knows they could overtake the Celtics at the top, and the most surprising is the Clippers, Currently at 9 win streak and number 4 in the West, just few more wins to get that 30, for sure it's unexpected but it could happen.

How about creating a new poll on whether the Pistons can extend their losing streak and set a new NBA record? The Pistons have really stood out from other teams this regular season, and now the Pistons' players only need to lose 5 more games in a row to make NBA history. Grin

Poll was already created, we can't create another one until the current poll is concluded.
499  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How diverse is your crypto portfolio? on: December 20, 2023, 11:59:02 PM
Hi guys!
Just wanted to know how many cryptocurrencies you're invested in? And with what percentage of your portfolio (No need to mention the amounts involved, if you don't want to). Just want to get a general sense of how everyone's diversifying their crypto assets.
I'm into 80% bitcoin and the rest are reserved for potential altcoins that may suddenly skyrocket their prices and bring us exceptional profits. But let me clear it to you that what I invested is only an amount I can afford to lose since the term investment alone still cannot guarantee insured profits. No need to borrow funds or take a debt just to maximize your investment.

But I suggest to focus on bitcoin for now. Bitcoin halving is approaching and after that, real bull run will appear and certainly that would be the best time to sell in profits.
500  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Succeeded in introducing Bitcoin to a friend on: December 20, 2023, 09:56:41 PM
I agree that you succeeded in attracting your friend to invest in bitcoin, but the problem is you never taught him how to secure his bitcoin, by not sharing it to others or letting other people know that you're actually owning bitcoin. What you showed OP creates a wrong concept about bitcoin, and he should not imitate you, otherwise he will blame you in the future if he lost his bitcoin because he also show it to other people to attract them to invest.

It's not too late OP. You can correct your mistake by teaching him the right way to secure the safety of his coins. And for you OP, beware of the future scammers. Your investment might be at risk already the moment you share your bitcoin hodlings to your friend.
