4921  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is it too late to buy bitcoin? on: August 15, 2017, 07:29:44 PM
I believe that bitcoin can still be bought, because it has the prospect of growth and expansion. It has not yet been adopted in many countries and there is no global opportunity to pay for it in real life.
Better late than never, but never late is better. It is a little late rather you can say a little more costly now to buy bitcoins. However, if you consider the future worth of digital gold, then still this is a golden time to invest in it.
I think only people of those countries who have no internet facility are still not aware of this technology. If you mean its legalization, then yes most of the countries haven't legalized it yet but soon they will.
Too expensive if will bought now, maybe needs to wait for  it to little lower . But we can't never predict when will it going to happen since it keeps on increasing.
4922  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How does Bitcoin affect othet Crypto? on: August 15, 2017, 07:23:48 PM
I have recently been into altcoin trading. I just want to know, does the price of bitcoin affect the price of other cryptocurrencies as well? How? I really want to know. I have noticed that ever since the bitcoin price pumped up and reached 4,000 USD, the price of the altcoins had gone really really low. I almost lost my invesment due to this sudden drop. Does bitcoin price have something to do with this?

If you look at the last 3-4 months, the price of alts shot up due to all the uncertainty about scaling in Bitcoin. Now with that resolved, a lot of the money in alts is coming back to Bitcoin. That is why altcoins have been dumped real hard.
Yes with segwit activated more of the investors are investing their money in bitcoin rather than in altcoins. There have been people who had predicted this already before August 1 and it's mostly the result of investors regaining their confidence in bitcoin and making huge investment which has also affected altcoins and as a result the drop in altcoins prices.

As we see the hype now in btc there's no doubt that btc users were back on trusting btc again. Though alts have still potential on their increase depending on what projext they came from , it's just btc have proven it's ability despite splits and segwits.
4923  Local / Altcoin Announcements (Pilipinas) / Re: [ANN]-HIVE PROJECT - World’s first crypto currency invoice financing platform-PH on: August 13, 2017, 02:11:34 AM

Baka makahabol pa sa stakes for this week basta magretweet lng agad kaya. Bigla lng nabuhay kc tong thread nung nagsuccess na ung ICO. Cheesy

Ayos at nakasali ako dito. Tweet tweet na last day na eh.
"Participants will be asked to send their ETH wallet addresses (https://www.myetherwallet.com/) to bounties@hive-project.net to claim their bounty."
Yan yung post nila sa medium account nung nagregister . Kelan kaya OP magtatanpng. After naman siguro ng ICO malalaman.
4924  Economy / Economics / Re: Why You Should Never Sell Your Bitcoins Ever on: August 05, 2017, 02:26:45 PM
Most of their bitcoins need to be kept in order to save and increase their money, but sometimes you need to allocate some part for making the necessary purchases.
The OP here who post 2015,two year ago if didn't do any selling before might already twice or thrice richer now. That's why as much as possible if not needed if there's a regular job that salary can be used to spend why not only save all the earnings came from btc works unless really needed.

4926  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Do you trade at multiple exchanges? on: August 05, 2017, 02:13:05 PM
i've traded on multiple exchanges before (bittrex, cryptopia, mercatox) , but for now i only focused on bittrex. Maybe one day, if i have enough BTC already , i'll go in poloniex

Well, i added liqui and etherdelta to my list.
Even liqui still need an optimized code they listed some ETH tokens that not on bittrex, they have a potential to become big later IMO.
Etherdelta with their unique system (decentralized exchange) bring some new atmosphere that we can fully control our address and yes the reason i'm using it because of some tokens that listed that not on bittrex as well.
Bittrex and polo is good yet there are really some alts that are not listed on it , and it's late sometimes to put some new alts there so its nice to have some backup but other than the two we should be careful on using others.

4929  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Most Profitable Bounty Campaign Ever, Dude on: August 05, 2017, 12:18:01 PM
Fortunejack is the most Profitable Signature campaign that I've joined so far. My monthly salary is 0.2BTC which is equivalent to half of my salary in my regular job. This is the highest paying rate signature campaign so far in the forum that pays in Bitcoin and still active. I'm very lucky that I'm part of this campaign.  Grin

Wow is that true? can you link me to it Cheesy i wanted to see how it works, thanks in advance
As I see those wearing FJ sig are all Hero Members to Legendary rank already mate, and they are fixed on about 10 or 20 participants I don't know exactly but it's closed already before when I tried to research on campaigns. I don't know if theres anything else like fj who paid such amount , I'm more than willing to join too if ever I got ranked.
4930  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is the best crypto currency at this time? on: August 05, 2017, 12:07:58 PM
For me the best crypto currency is Ethereum and Waves because both or one of them is the best option for investment purpose and it has a good potential in the future and Ethereum is very good for a long term
Yeah whenever ETH have issue it's waves that can be the support. Eth is most commonly used but Waves were in numbered of ICOs too that uses it like ShadowToken ICO is in Wave platform and it is gaining numbers of investor.
4931  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Have you successfully claimed your BCH ? on: August 05, 2017, 11:58:45 AM
I can't send my BCH to any trading site I have my BCH from waveswallet .
And I can't create a sell order or do anything to it can't even send it.
It seems useless for now that I don't even plan to do anything yet on it. Will just use it in time if ever it will have value or will just store it reminder that it even exist snce we mighy forget in the future.
4932  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Have you dumped your BCC yet? on: August 05, 2017, 11:55:31 AM
I hate to see that I wasn't able to dump it too early as I need to import it with bitcoin abc wallet or any working wallet that can get generate my BCH's. And what's another bad situation is that the exchanges aren't allowing some deposits so by that time the was still too high and it was too late now as it is being dump and will be drop dead soon.
I regret that part too but since I'm expecting before split that btc will dump which not happen I should be thankful than think of having bch. Just think of it as a token of that split only not hoping for any value of it.
4933  Economy / Economics / Re: bitcoin benefit of saving for a long time? on: August 05, 2017, 01:01:12 AM
why so many people store their bitcoin in their wallet for a long time, whether the benefits will they get?

Come share your thoughts

A lot of people store their bitcoins in a wallet for a long time because they are hoping to multiply their investment after a few years. Long term saving can provide long term benefits but we still need to be careful because we are not sure if the bitcoin price will continue to increase for a very long time since it is so unpredictable. I personally want to store my bitcoins too but not for a very long time. Just until bitcoin reaches the price that I am expecting. I haven't decided yet what to do after that.
Thats right we should really set limit since we can't wait that much we all have plans on what we gonna do with our savings, though we might regre if we cash it out then the btc price still pumps so better left still something on your wallet if you decide to use it already.
4934  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: A REALLY GOOD altcoin needs... on: August 04, 2017, 08:14:25 PM
what? what is a really good altcoin like, what can a really good altcoin do. is it better than Bitcoin?

Is there a good altcoin available today, or are there no good altcoins? ty
Good alt coins still exist. Unlike those shitty pump-dump scam coins there are coins which are a consistent community with active developers. I personally prefer Ethereum, Litecoin, Monero and Waves.
Enumerated above were consistent on performing their tasks well and proves their uae even before, they are mostly used in having ICOs and there are effective too hold. Having ETH and Waves now is a must if we wants to gain more in investing in ICO.
4935  Economy / Economics / Re: WILL BITCOIN BE USED BY ALMOST EVERYONE IN 2022? on: August 04, 2017, 08:07:15 PM
There are still few countries implementing it, so it may take more time to increase it's users numbers, but we can't never tell what may happen in 5 years and technology does really amazed us so it's possible that it can be used by almost everyone.
4936  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Vs Bitcoin Cash on: August 03, 2017, 12:56:37 AM
I think it will depend on how many people will really use BCC. The current high value is probably due to lack of liquidity in the market.
When it will be included in some exchanges or have more apps that can use it ,as well many users to adopt , sell or drop it its value will start to move down or up. We will know after month what can it be.
4937  Economy / Economics / Re: Can bitcoin improve the economy of a country? on: August 03, 2017, 12:52:08 AM
It can't improve the economy unless or until it is accepted by countries as a legal payment method. The legalization of bitcoin is giving rise to the bitcoin's price and it will definitely effect the economy in bitcoin legalized countries.

Even if bitcoin is accepted legally in a county, it has no role to improve the economy of that country. If it's a real country, then it economy will be very complex and consisting of too many components. So a simple asset such as bitcoin can't improve/change the economy of that country.

True.  What can I say?  Until now cryptocurrency is not yet legally accepted in my country. But I'm still hoping that cryptocurrency would be legal and adopt around the world. And if it's legal in our government, we expect it to have a tax.

Maybe when governments finds a way to access it or put tax on it they will surely adapts it and it can help in one's economy but for now let's enjoy it that it's only the fees that deducts on us nothing else

Nice one bitdice! Member ako sa gambling site nila and for me, mas better sila kesa sa duckdice and bitsler.
Grin
4940  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Fixed income with BTC trading? on: August 02, 2017, 02:25:38 AM

I want to generate a constant monthly gain. Is it possible to do this by bitcoin trading? So, can I just do this by dealing with BTC trading?
Are there any people among us who can make a living by trading in BTC?
It is very possible to make a living through bitcoin. You should spend more time on this forum  to learn how trading work and to now the right time to invest and make much money for your living. Trading is a very risky venture  and you are to have adequate knowledge for you to really make it in life.
yes it is possible but i think we should not depend on bitcoin for living.
It's good to balance things,it can be a sideline for us to have extra income, well of we do have the skills in trading we can really earn a lot than our regular job, it will depend maybe on what activities we do in bitcoin for us to rely on it for our living.
