Yeah HODLING will be the best trading strategy today, whether you have bitcoin or alt coins. And this is what I've seen on how the market fluctuates and in the long run if you have bitcoins, just by holding it the price is increasing. This is the flow of it's pricing and holding will surely give you the best amount that you won't be expecting. I'd been holding coins now since it was always recommended to do so, as long as we don't need that much money we can wait and hold it. I'm targeting a realistic amount wherein my alts can achieve if that amount reached thats the only time i might think of trading it. |

The first altcoin I've heard aside from bitcoin is the ethereum and I really regret when I don't believe with this coin before since I though its another shitcoins added around but turns out that It made me confuse and doubt more since the price way back before is 0.005 when I see it first and it could make me rich by now if I bought on that price before. But things works as usual and I think ethereum's luck is not on my side so I'm little bit adopting it for now since maybe it could make me rich when time goes pump on it again.
Same here, it was hard for me to believe in bitcoin before, it took me time to appreciate bitcoin, and then there goes more alts . I felt dump when I need to have a ETH wallet since it's my first time before in ETH. I got a wallet add but I didn't have the key so at the end the campaign I joined that time is a free work since the wallet can't be changed. |

There are possibilities that bitcoin may fall in that day but i don't see that bitcoin will be fall under 2000 dollars seems bitcoin is unstable bitcoin already reach the price of 2,800 plus there are possibilities that bitcoin maybe fall over 800$ and it will be that price but there are trading and exchagne website where they can sell their coins and wait for the price to be down again and buy to make a large profit because of this.
Did you looked at the date of Op posted this? He asked whether bitcoin could fall below $2000 until August 1st, not on August 1st. And the answer is yes, as bitcoin price has declined to $1800 on July 16th, the lowest price on this month and I doubt it could be lower than $1800 again due to hard fork issue or BCC UAHF which is an altcoin. Bitcoin price has recovered to $2700-$2800 and there are 3 days before deadline, no chance to fall below $2300 I guess. It's increasing today,I also believe it will not fall less than $2000, many still considering to buy btc even the August 1 split. Many take it as opportunity to buy in cheap amount. |

If you want to invest in bitcoin, you better start investing your money on bitcoin now, if you believe bitcoin will be fine. But, since there is a long debate on bitcoin about segwit2x, then i would advise you to hold it at least after 1 august, because I'm sure the bitcoin price will still be low after 1 august and you can start buying bitcoin as much you can, because i feel of bitcoin prices will pumped again after the next few weeks or months. What do you mean by low and how low do you think it's going to be? I was planing on buying before aug 1st and now that btc-e is shut down, I'm expecting some kind of a drop, unleast for a $100. But don't want to risk it if the price might go down even more after segwit... :| I just might say screw it and buy it now... i will wait until August 1, whatever will happen after that day or on that day, i think bitcoin can recover no matter what so it's better to buy now or it's still ok until August 1, it's just not more than 1 week of waiting anyways. |

I invest a lot in ICO because I am quite sure of the ICO I choose and certainly have high potential. I restrict investment in ICOs without clear and unplanned information in the future

Although this might be impossible to happen but who knows this world was full of surprises in every single day, if this gonna happen one day and all my bitcoins/altcoins was gone its very unacceptable for us, I think it will only happen if some big global tragedy or calamity will came that will affect whole universe or maybe some big war that will destroy internet infrastructure.
I hope that thing will never happen, i have been focusing on making more coins and on holding my coins waiting for their pumps and if such thing will happen , It will be hard for me to recover maybe financially. But since it's quite impossible that tragedy to happen. I will continue my faith and plan on it. Technology were developing it will be hard to destroy it. |

I believe in different superstitions about gambling and I think it's better to play in the clothes in which there was once a big win or to have some talisman to attract luck.
its possible too. especially the Chinese they tend to wear something that they believe could attract luck and make them luckier in whatever they do.. maybe chinese gamblers are also practicing this until now. This could really work, or just because of our luck we will win our games. In my place, people will sit one place and play card games that place is their lucky place. Few friends are there they will win most of the times if they in that place. So they prefer only that place to play card games. Like that in your condition, the dress code also helps people to win money in gambling. This looks funny, but it works. You would really say that thing works if luck is on your side together the same time on doing your beliefs which you would say that you will do such thing on another day on playing gambling. I will bet that you will still lose up even if you are on the lucky position which you strongly believe. This beliefs might somehow boost up self confidence but the fact on increasing chances of winning is really impossible. It doesn't have anything to do with you winning or having luck at your side but it does have a positive effect on a person's thinking. That perhaps is already luck for someone. Being able to believe that a chant or amulet or certain routine will improve your chances, it makes gambling quite a bit more fun. yeah fun , people just don't think about how superstition make the game become so fun more than when you didn't use any superstition things. they just care about how to win , win and win . and it's sounds like an addict right? calm down yourself and think freshly . gamble in massive way won't earn you good things. So my initial plan was to invest more into bitcoin on a weekly basis but with the possibility of a split on August 1st I figured I'd wait a little. If there would be a split, there would certainly be a drop in price so maybe a good opportunity to pick some more up rather than doing it now. Normally I tend to make these kind of decisions for myself but since I don't fully understand what will happen August 1st I figured this would be the best place to ask.

Agreed, i have strong faith for BTC. Even if the price drop to $1800, i will not sell my existing BTC. And I am looking to buy more when the price drop.
When the price drops to $ 1,800, there's no point in selling anymore. Especially if you bought it more. Now the price goes down and I again see a lot of hysteria around it. We just need to believe in bitcoin and not panic. When we panic, it will start ourselves to get paranoids over making more bitcoins or sell all our coins. We need to decide what we think will be better for us, for me I'd rather wait for it's recovery. It will recovery fast just how it grew it's value from less than $1000 before to its value now. |

What's good about saving bitcoin is that if profits even if you do not do such effort. So I'd rather choose to save it then use the interest I earned from bitcoin in spending for the things I want to buy. The price of bitcoin is unpredictable so you must be on watch in its value.

Who even told you ico are scams they are 2 types of ico one is legit ico where they actually raise millions and other one is when they are able to raise only some thousands but they show it as millions without any proof. ICO surely have no business model i totally agree with you but if you see any successful ico who listed their coins on exchange people normally sold their coins 2-5 times the price than initial ico which is all that matters for most of investors.
Legit looking projects can easily turn into scams. They be legit at the beginning then scam people. Check populous, polybius, onplace, and some others, you'll see what I mean. in the first place op did not state that every ico are scams, theres the word most on it which indicates that the greater part of it tend to be as scams but obviously not all of them there are certainly legit and successful ones. but yeah legit looking doesn't mean its legit and even if it collected million funds doesn't also mean its legit so if you're gonna invest. don't invest an amount you can't afford to lose. bottomline is there is no way to find out if the compaign will be successful but if its legit and the devs are serious there is a way. if they are transparent e.g. show the faces of their team, transaprent addresses etc. but some are also hiding it for privacy and security. I still trust ICO's it will only depend on how we choose it. We gained on them so we better trust them. We can know whether their scam or not by knowing their goal if seems realistic and having a good team support. |

Question for all of you that consider every ICO to be a SCAM, how else would a company distribute their coins? And don't say air drop, because no one is going to spend significant time and money on a project to give it away for free.
If they are to have an ICO Widely advertised beforehand Uncapped with long duration If possible POW phase 50% Road map with milestones/fund release intervals. anything less is setting up to be an insider market making colluding scam project. There should be a working product or as much as possible the project can be vision potentially. When we can vision it chances it can get successful plus the team should be onhand and easy to contact too. Be smart in choosing ICO. |

I dont think ethereum will be affected even if dumped I predict it will increase its price. I dont think ethereum trading will stop on aug1, as bitcoin is the one that is affected. I was not worries regarding declining price of bitcoin in the market because I know that it was a strategy of bitcoin to increase the number of members with bitcoin account and also I believe that bitcoin price were increase after decreasing.
