Don't be dumb,
Am I dumb enough?
Quote
by the OP's account name itself you can distinguish his nationality because you are also from that country.
How if he just copied and pasted the name? Sometimes, not because it is obviously stated doesn't mean it was right.
Quote
Don't drag nationality into this topic because it will just taint a bad image not just to the OP but also to the whole nation.
My bad.

Quote
it is his opinion so he have the right to voice it out here no matter what the old members will say about his feeling.
Yeah I know it his opinion and he's free to think whatever he want. But why do he need to post it out here? Is it necessary to post such a nonsense topic just to express your opinion when you already know that it has been posted a hundred of times? It is his opinion but he's still in the wrong place to shout it out.
Quote
Kicking ass my boy? I think you are trying to compensate for something you lacking in real life. Trying to be brave here when in real life you can't withstand a single punch from a grader.
Yeah you're right. I might can't do that in real life, but atleast I wanna try Smiley

Just lock this one please. There no point in arguing here. Just read more topics to learn and contibute in the forum.
I second the motion.
503  Other / Meta / Re: Merit is useless, only for those old members. Please remove merit system! on: May 27, 2018, 09:52:53 AM
Are you a Filipino? It doesn't matter but, who says we have no chance to grow? This Merit System is nothing compared to what benefits this forum can give us. And I'm sure that the first reason why you joined here is to earn money, Admit it or not. And I'm pretty sure that you're not a newbie here, no newbie will ever say
Quote
Am a newbie buddy, don't be a hypocrite person you're also struggling to earn money and don't throw all those shit to me. You're wearing signature right now huh? So whose struggling to earn money? My topic here was for merit system, I have no care for those money that you been talking about.
to higher ranks except if you're just pretending to be noob. And guess what, I think you're starting to suffer from "Not receiving any Merits" in your real account isn't? and you envy those people who already ranked up and already earning more money than you that's why you're blaming Merits System. Somehow, obviously, you're main reason why you were here is to earn money. Why don't you show us your real account and I'll bet that you were Wearing a paid siganture of a campaign.

Merit, It is just implemented to improve ourselves, to make us more and more better than before. I am once became a spammer and I admit it. Those are times when I really don't know what to do. But as long as I walk towards new doors that opens, I've learned something more and new. All I'm trying to say is, we can't really "grow" if we will not improve ourselves. And if we don't improve ourselves, then we don't deserve a Merit (a reward for doing your best).

I just really wish you're not a Filipino. Because if you were really are. I'm gonna kick your ass for making such a dumbass topic.
504  Other / Meta / Re: Full articles without link to the original in the Bitcoin Discussion on: May 23, 2018, 05:01:32 AM
What about the kind of thread where OP literally copies the first 6 paragraphs of an article and links it at the bottom with a "for full article visit ..."?

I'm talking about this thread: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=4155777.0
We can't say that it is a plagiarism but we can't say it is not either. The thread has a link to its original post that describes that it is the source of information of the thread. But just copying and pasting its contents without paraphrasing it is a plagiarism.

But if you're gonna ask me. I'll consider it as a plagiarism, although its not, I think.
505  Other / Off-topic / Re: Merits for helpful posts/threads by Silent26 on: May 21, 2018, 08:45:08 AM
Sorry but this is not that too helpful. You've just compiled all the links of websites and there's nothing more informative about it. Though you helped other by people by doing it and you put a good effort but, this is not what I'm looking for.

Please check my post https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2985767.msg30693184#msg30693184
hopefully im qualified enough .
Your thread qualified. It is a good topic to begin with when it is all about preventing illegal activities like hacking, phishing and other stuffs like that. I always been interested about these.
You've passed all requirements, 1 Merit for your work. Keep it up.

Please check it, I think it will meet your criteria: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=4109678
Looks like you've just recently created a quick thread intending to qualify to this service. Sorry but I don't consider this as an helpful one. Yeah, this is somehow helpful but you've made something wrong here,
First, These are only the BASIC functions of function keys and I'm pretty sure that most of people here already knew about it.
Second, you've posted it in off topic section, it only means that only few people can be able to read it, though it is really unnecessary to post it in sections where readers usually visit as it really is a off topic.
I'm sorry but this one does not qualify. Thank you for participating.

Sorry but there's nothing informative and helpful here.

There's nothing too important in the thread and I think the thread is created intending to beg for Merits. By the way, you really helped some people but I won't give any Merit for it.

Thread Locked. No more further replies.
506  Other / Off-topic / Merits for helpful posts/threads by Silent26 on: May 21, 2018, 08:44:42 AM
Please read until the end
I created this service to give away my remaining sMerits to those people who can provide constructive (English) and helpful posts/threads. I don't often give my sMerit as I can't see helpful and constructive posts. I usually can only see Good posts created by Hero Members and Legendaries who didn't need Merit too much as they are already high rank Members.

Post 1 link that you believed is a helpful and Meritorious one.

Rules/Requirements:
1. You must be Jr. Member to Sr. Member only.
2. You must provide constructive and helpful posts/threads. (Strictly no to spam/shitposts)
3. Must post only 1 link per account.
4. Must be atleast 100 characters long (A reply with just a link which is helpful but not constructive is not counted).
5. Merits received must be less than 50.

I have the rights to ignore a posts if it's not too helpful.

I don't have too much sMerits to give but these sMerits are precious. Just think that this is rewarded to you by contributing well in the forum. It is not too hard to follow these rules, I've warning you right from the start to read this thread until the end, someone who attempts to reply without reading the rules will be given Neutral Feedback.

I only have 17 Smerit for 17 people who will pass the requirements.

I also hate Merit Abusers. If by chance that I found something suspicious to your Merits Summary. You will be investigated.

Goodluck.

Please tell me if I've done something wrong here and I will fix it immediately or lock the thread. Thank you.
507  Other / Meta / Re: Need Help1111 on: May 21, 2018, 08:16:51 AM
Moving up to Jr. Member is not like a promotion to jobs that you will earn once someone just like you to advance to the next rank, even admins can't do such a thing to move you up to Jr. Member. It is something that you need to earn by yourself as a reward of contributing to the forum. There are some rules and guidelines regarding on how to rank up and what are the required requirements to move up. These 4 replies above me contains very helpful links to those guidelines. You'd better check them all out.

Am i accepted or ?
Sorry buddy, but I think you're not. Try reading the rules sometimes. It will surely save your butt.   Wink

Do not apply if you have negative feedback or you've been already listed in SMAS lists.
509  Other / Meta / Re: sig campaign- what about "1merited post per week" instead of"25 post per week" on: May 16, 2018, 12:37:06 AM
Nobody read those shitposters in megathreads

So kill the root of the problem, instead of adding some other rule.
The only solution that I can see to avoid these "shitposting" in Megathreads is, Delete all Megathreads. As we can see, these Megathreads are already worthless, they're just like a trashcan full of garbage and the only solution to clean up all the mess is to dispose it.

Some people really hates spams usually to Megathreads, some people are just using it/posting on it in order to increase their activity and not worrying about the quality of the posts. But why don't we kill the root? Which is these existing spam flooded threads.
510  Other / Meta / Re: Request: add bitcointalk.TO to [phishing] list on: May 13, 2018, 05:17:41 PM
Thanks LoyceV, I've been aware about this Phishing site lately when I heard about this rumors that Members of Bitcointalk.org are being hacked and the possible reason is because they might be a victim of Phishing. Although this Sanya_sun is banned, we can't assure that there are no more Accounts/Members spreading this phishing link and trying to scam people around here.

Looks like double checking the link before clicking it is the best solution. But how if we didn't notice it. Links like this https://[phishing]/index.php.topic=5.msg28.php is much easier to find out if its phishing or not but how if the links is hidden in a text like this Phishing (The url provided is a link to Phishing's definition, just an example)
See? We must be double careful in clicking links. It's a relief that phishing sites automatically shows "phishing" so that it can warn people of Bitcointalk.org immediately.

Payments are directly sent to your Yolodice account by ethan. You can wd or play with those bitcoins instantly after receiving it. Also the minimum wd for btc is anything above the wd fees i.e. 0.00004btc for instant and 0.00002btc for batch wd.
Thanks for replying Sir. I would like to apply for your campaign if I'm eligible. My application form is right here below.
Just one thing Sir. Please lend me some assistance because I'm new to Yolodice.com's interface Smiley I would like to be part of your campaign. I can assure that I can provide a Good Quality of Posts.

I'm very confused, why every people in this board always talk about merit? Meta is a board to talk about problem in this forum.
You're confused because people talk about Merit here in Meta section right? Did you even realise that you just made a topic that talks about Merit? Then you're included to that "Every People" you were talking about.

Quote
It means, is merit an problems in this forum?
Nope, Merits is not a problem. Any problem?
Quote
What is the problem for merit system?
Those people who treat Merit as a problem.
Quote
What causes this to be a problem?
Those people who can't accept and are against Merit System. With these people around, Merit System will never be acknowledged by other people.

Yeah yeah, you got me. I knew you'd figure it out. I'm not deleting those because it shows that I improved from being a noob and a idiot poster. Well, as long as I remember, I was a newbie that time, and I also became a shitposter as I sometimes spam (but I don't really know that I'm spamming). It just made me smile because, over those 500 plus posts I've made, you only found 4 posts Grin or there are still more?

And, hey. I'm not trying to be a bad guy here. I only want you to know this, "Sometimes there are things that should never to discuss, because it will just make the situation worse". Just look what you've done. Because of this blatant thread of yours, The Pharmacist gave you another Negative Trust. But, I admire your bravery, you still risk by creating this thread.
I don't think marlboroza and The Pharmacist haven't done their research before painting him red.

Is that so? Hmmm. So, if mdayonliner is correct then I'm also giving you a second chance.
But chances from regular members like us wont change the situation. Only malboroza can remove your Negative Feedback and also The Pharmacist.
I'm pretty sure that if you provide evidences and you proved that you're clean. These two DT members will wash those red paint away.

But I still hate Merit Abusers. I just hope that you won't try to Abuse Merit next time Smiley

Also please be aware that marlboroza's research became his/her evidence and it is really a solid one that proves you really cheat a bounty https://archive.fo/o/xCKNU/https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2544574.msg36813218%23msg36813218

Looks like it will be impossible for him/her to to remove your Negative Feedback.
514  Other / Meta / Re: Double Account Policy on forum on: May 10, 2018, 06:45:38 PM
I think you've just missed this what I said.
Quote
It seems like you really are helping your friends too much, by what? Trading Merits?

And also
Quote
I have only this account but these are my friends and we are working together on the forum,
Working together huh? Yeah, your Merit transaction with your friends proves that you really are a good friend. Also proves that you abused it.

Why don't you ask for your friends for help to remove your Negative Trust instead. Looks like you're the only one looking for solution. Are they just friends for benefits?

Oops. Sorry Smiley

Edit. One more thing. Did you even know that I also hate Merit Abusers? Smiley
515  Other / Meta / Re: Double Account Policy on forum on: May 10, 2018, 06:30:42 PM
Before posting you should know the whole story. can you show many merits i got from users?
Don't be mad buddy. I've just found it in here https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=3168616.msg33049331#msg33049331

Why don't you click the link and look for yourself.

Here's what I found.

And wait, theres more. Busted Merit Abuser Smiley

https://i.imgur.com/LUyAUlZ.jpg

It seems like you really are helping your friends too much, by what? Trading Merits?

Many persons are working here for bounty
Yeah but they're not CHEATING.

Quote
If alts are allowed here then why this can be cheating to work with alts in bounty?
Alts are allowed: Yeah that's for sure.
Cheating by entering multiple account in the same campaign: Strictly prohibited.

There is only one reason why you were given a Negative Trust. Its because you tried to cheat to your bounty campaign. Come on, Move it on.

Hi Manager, can I send 0.006 Bitcoin (assuming that I received from 1st week) to my bitcoin wallet from yolodice account instantly? I mean without having trouble with; for example is, is there a minimun amount to send from yolodice to bitcoin wallet?

I'm planning to join your campaign but, I'm hesitating because of how the payment can be done to yolodice account. Can it be sent directly to my bitcoin wallet instead? (assuming that I joined).

Thank you. Hoping for your reply.

It is for signature purposes 😅
Well, that's the real problem, you admitted it. People like you posts spams just to earn money which is wrong. Although you're in a campaign or not, you should make your posts more "Quality".  Not shitpost  Huh

How to post a quality post when you discovered crypto just a month ago?
There are too many ways. For example is this one https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=3469010.msg36047535#msg36047535
See, you received Merits from rickbig41 because you just created a Quality posts.

A "Quality Post" consists of the following.
1. Constructive (English or not)
2. Informative
3. Unique (Not copied and pasted)
4. With effort.

It doesn't matter if you'd just started to learn about crypto a few months ago.

Just a reminder, posting spam posts for the sake of money is not worth it. You'll realise that soon.

Well, my opinion is NO. We must learn to satisfy about Merit System. Threads like this should never be created.
