501  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Now Bounty Program totally worth less !! 90% Bounties are scam on: October 08, 2020, 07:46:46 PM
I think 90% is still humble, in my opinion more than 95% of campaigns are scam or not valuable. Bounty hunters can participate but should not put too much hope into it until they receive payment from it. From 2018 until now, there have been countless scam campaigns.
You're right mate; because there have been series of threads concerning this issue of not getting the needed profits from work done in this regard. 96% of the Bounties these days are just scam projects which hunters  choose to  promote undermining their sincerity and credibility. How can the bounty rules get started without an inclusion of the KYC and then after the end while await payment then came another rules for KYC.

I would suggest to all the bounty hunters that, there is no meaningful impact from projects to hunters, if such is what's happening then, hunters should quit bounty promotion, or in another, they should embark on peaceful protest against be paid in dead tokens from through campaign managers. Hunters should demand for their rights and will be given.
502  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BREAKING: Square & Twitter's Boss, Jack Dorsey buys $50M worth of Bitcoin. on: October 08, 2020, 03:43:38 PM
<snip>
  • Bad news: If more companies keep buying huge stacks of BTC, They might own enough to become manipulative and do things their own way.
The truth is, manipulation will be inevitable when the time come. Imagine when those big companies cut huge portion of Bitcoin and hold, this will enable them manipulate the market at self-will. Although, this will be a tough one because many companies will get involve and be made competitive.
Quote

  • Goodnews : Bitcoin is getting the much needed attention and soon enough, more companies would buy in and the value would increase ~ possibly to everyone's dream price of $50,000 or more. Also, If these companies integrate Bitcoin to their products.
~~~
This will definitely happen when mass adoption set in (increase in Bitcoin price). The current positive movement in cryptocurrencies will give a surprise to the world and companies will embrace the power of cryptocurrency in which Bitcoin will be the lead.
503  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are people giving up on Bitcoin too quickly? on: October 08, 2020, 02:56:43 PM
Those who can't trust the system for the main time may give up quickly because they don't get what they want from the system. When an individual with a mindset of making quick money from the technology and it's not forthcoming then they will quit the system. Though, this isn't an issue becasue the ecosystem just begin to grow as Bitcoin clocked 10+ years. As for me, those leaving the system will definitely come back to the industry when the right time comes, new technology must at first suffer setback before the light shine.
504  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Don't trade if you're inexperience rather stake your coins. on: October 07, 2020, 11:19:25 PM
Trading cryptocurrencies isn't meant for everyone dude, to me, trading looks like charming stuff but most dangerous to inexperience traders. Recently, I saw a potential signal on Binance with CHR but was disappointed after my order as the altcoin get dipper. I regretted my actions as staking altcoins would have brought me good rewards. Don't trade dudes let start staking our little altcoin stash. Despite our efforts to ensure we make some progress, the industry doesn't give us a chance. As an inexperience trader before now,  how do metamorphosed to become experience in trade?.
 Does it mean inexperience traders aren't born to trade?.
I am really happy to know my friends who wins on trading, posting the the graph and the earnings they got from their trades. Me myself how many times traded coins on binance but still keep on losing my money. Although I studied on how to win on trading but I am still greedy that is why I did not win. I stop trading now because it is not easy to trade and there are lots of things to know and to study before we become wise on trading.
Thanks for acknowledged the fact that, learning trade to have the needed experience is most Paramount if profit is to be talk about. Been into trade with my little experience wasn't enough and I had to rethink and move into a better zone of learning new skills. Those who showed to public their profits picked might be hiding something from us but personally, am into some good stuff that will definitely increase my knowledge base crypto trade in a short time.
505  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Anyone inside this paid trading group ? on: October 07, 2020, 10:46:50 PM
Are you really asking or is this your own telegram group? I hope I don't see other new members posting their "profitable trades" later.
I also believe that Op is trying to show his telegram group. The simple thing about this is that telegram group that gives out signal are always doing pumping of a coin and dumping it without the knowledge of others.
Basically, what i saw with OP is showing the telegram group for more admission from noobs, who are just wanting to make profit from nothing. There are telegram groups that give out signals but thousands of them are the pump and dump signals givers, so, be mindful of their tactics. For those who seek for such groups shouldn't apply on their paid version but for their free signal version to avoid be scam at the end.
506  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why do people keep playing unlicensed, illegal slot machines? on: October 07, 2020, 10:24:10 PM
Some gamblers do not know that's it's unlicensed and illegal and they don't care if they are, they just want to play, they just want to gamble, a gambler will always gamble, this is the reason why do have a lot of underground gambling you cannot stop people from gambling they have the urge to gamble they have to release it whether legal or illegal.
Most of  them (gambler) don't care about the documentation of the gamble casino, they are after what they can get out from the gambling platform. Some of them look out for conveniences (how the gambling platform present their activities) while they choose to gamble, gambling platforms I have visited can be as a result of their conveniences with them and not based on their licensed or others, though, they are important but convenience is my watchword.
507  Economy / Reputation / Re: [Interviews] with Bitcointalk members on: October 07, 2020, 05:50:21 PM
@zasad@, thanks for the honor to be interview
1. When and why did you become interested in cryptocurrencies?
Backed in 2016 three of mine colleague got introduced into cryptocurrencies and thereafter gave some good testimony about the technology which I actually frowned upon at first. This process continued, at one time they gave me some advice to join their investment group program which I turned down and later became a scam investment group program. This brought upon me a serious fear about this technology because I had some experience with MMM which I personally don’t want to experience again. In January 2018, I got married and fortunately my partner was into cryptocurrencies which got my attention and was later introduced into the technology March, 2018.
2. When and why did you buy your first bitcoin?
Well, i didn’t bought any bitcoin because of my partner involvement into Bitcoin. Also, due to what happened to my colleagues (investment group program) I never wanted to buy any of these coins.
3. How did you get on the forum?
Good question: With the little knowledge I got from my partner and the prospect in digital technology future, the urge for more knowledge increased and I began search the Google. At one time, I got into Bitcoin garden which gave me an insight into the technology. In 2019 to be precise, I went for a summit titled “what billionaires do in 21st century” at Top Rank Hotel Abuja when I got introduced into this forum and created an account with the forum.
4.1. What prevents mass adoption of cryptocurrencies?
There are two major things which prevent rise to mass adoption of cryptocurrencies. The fear of what happened in 2017 when investors trooped into cryptocurrencies which aftermath wasn’t palatable because of the drastic fall of it price. Thousands of investors lost their savings and finding it difficult to embrace the digital currencies. Also, what happened to Mt. Gox (2011 and 2014) and Bitfinex (2016) still creating fear among investors.
Permit me to say that, confusion - technical jargons also preventing mass adoption of cryptocurrencies. The so called experts can’t find acceptable answers to some questions, different websites with different information about the technology which create more confusion among its participants.
4.2. How do you think mass advertising of gambling projects has a positive effect on the development of the forum or harms the community?
As a gambler, I would say the promotion of gambling projects on this exalted forum has given and still giving this forum a better look among its equals in the world of crypto. There are millions of gamblers who at one time or the other visited this forum just to see forum member’s reviews on a particular gambling site. Also note that, some complaints or scam accusations aren’t from notable accounts forum members but from newbies (though this can be the other way round for security reasons). There will be more exposure if the gambling projects are often launch in this forum than the scam projects called ‘Bounties’ for ICO’s, IEO’s and STO’s
4.3. How do you consider whether 2-3 years of experience in cryptocurrency is enough to successfully invest or does an investor need to receive special education?
Candidly, 2-3 years of experience is nothing when talk about success in cryptocurrencies. Remember that, the industry still in its infancy and there are new subtleties emerging every day, so, the issue of 2-3 years’ experience won’t count for success.
As I have said earlier, the most hindrance to mass adoption are: confusion and fear, so, for anyone to succeed in this industry s/he must have special education on this technology which Is the only sure route to success. Investors without proper education on this technology are those who continuously labeling the industry as ‘scam or Ponzi scheme’.
5. What do you think of the current Merit system and signature campaigns?  Do they harm the forum?
Introduction of merit system made the forum what it is today, the decorousness we see on the forum is as a result of the merit system which has tamed thousands of spammers and shitposters off the lane.  @theymos was smart enough with the merit system.
Signature campaigns are the best that has happened and still happening which is giving the forum a good traffic, though, this cannot be measure with those days of the non-merit system that was in operation before now. Without these campaign; how do we now distinguish between scam and legitimate crypto projects?, IMO, Merit System and Signature Campaigns are the best decision for the betterment of the forum.
6. The most useful forum topic? Most helpful users?
[Guide] Factors to consider before joining paid signature campaigns.
LoyceV's Beginners guide to correct use of the Trust system
CryptopreneurBrainboss ,
DdmrDdmr
LoyceV
7. 3 things you would implement on the forum?
1. Nigerian Pidgin local board implementation
2. Demerit system implementation to be executed by Mods
3. Barge for scam fighters.
8. Do you trade on exchanges or invest in projects?
Due to what happened to my colleagues I haven’t gathered the impetus to make my investment on new projects(though with the exemption of WPP project). I have always tried to make some stake with little funds, so, am not doing much on investment. For trade, in the recent bearish market I got burnt and have retraced my footsteps for more learning but trade limited.
9. Tell a story about your big profit or big loss?
Though the big profit was MB8coin which I bought during it early days, I made almost 300% profit, and for my big loss, was when I bought WPP token during ICO which I kept till-date and awaiting the swap from the team project.
10. What do you think about the DEFI ecosystem?
DEFI system is a new experiment which could see a better light from investors If the system make good impact. For us to have the needed financial freedom we clamor for, then, we should embrace this technology called DEFI ecosystem.
11. Is your anonymity a vital necessity or precaution?
Sincerely, am only precaution toward my anonymity because “s/he who come with clean hands shouldn’t fear anonymity”.
12. The last cryptocurrency book you read?
Cryptocurrencies and Blockchain Technology Applications
13. Advise 3 cryptocurrencies/tokens for investment in the next 1-2 years?
- BTC
- TWT
- ETH
14. How much will Bitcoin cost at the end of 2020?
IMO, the price of Bitcoin will end in a good note because of the current resistance level, and I will like to see it end with $12,000.00
15. P.S. (Optional)
Shun greed; is the only way out of this industry - a lesson I personally learned.
508  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Manny Pacquiao vs. Conor McGregor on: October 06, 2020, 08:58:43 PM
Yes that could be true if there will only be limited people who will attend then there's a chance that it will result to a lower profit and so the fight will not earn and might just waste their two teams efforts. It's good thing to know that Pacquiao's intention was to fight McGregor on purpose of helping his fellow countrymen.
No matter the numbers in attendance, the match won't be a waste for the organizers. Remember that, coronal virus has taught us not be living as before and this event will be monitor closely by agencies responsible for that. McGregor fight has been my favourite and with the pandemic, they will make some slide loss though, there will be profit with the fight even at this trying times with our world.
509  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What would you prefer? Live casino games or slots? on: October 06, 2020, 08:41:23 PM
obviously I am not very good at those games so for the most part I end up being wrong but I do not mind since my aim is not to become a professional gambler or anything like that and I just want to get some fun while I am gambling.
Well, I think it's good, gambling is just for fun, if we lose money then don't be too disappointed, playing casinos and slots is just for entertainment, of course the luck factor is the key.
Those who gamble with the intention of making ends meet in terms of profits should reconsider their action. Gambling shouldn't be see as a means of making money but as fun, in the past I made a huge mistake when I saw this as a means to earn but was disappointed with all hope lost. Well, the slots games make me feel good than the live casino because of my addiction towards viva, Roulette and poker games.
510  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Don't hate long term promotions on: October 04, 2020, 04:20:33 PM
If the project  is good then time does not matter. Even a Short-term Bounty often earns a lot of money.  Again, even in long- term bounties, money is often not  available. So nothing depends  on time. Everything depends on the project.
You just nailed this dude, reasons why thousands in the community has had the course to cry fowls is the reason behind their inability to choose the project they intended to promote. Don't expect anything good from a good for nothing projects to make you good after promotion. Though, since my stay on the forum, I haven't engaged myself with bounties because I hated them big time from newbie to when I became a member. Advise: ensure to double check that crypto projects before set to engage.
511  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Where can I sell ERC20 coins? on: October 04, 2020, 04:01:09 PM
I think there are many DEX to choose from to sell erc20 tokens,I think the safest is Uniswap because we don't need to enter a private key and for trading fees all need gas for the DAX market.
The best I think at the moment is that of the uniswap which I think is more convenient IMO. Though, this is my first time actually hearing about the forkdelta and others (erc20 exchanges) and I don't think this will be a better option than uniswap. Based on many forum member judgement, uniswap is the best for now in the community for the exchange of ERC20 tokens. Some of my tokens which I wanted to sell was i hold till when those tokens where listed on centralized cryptocurrency exchange. Patience is the best option in this community than selling in decentralised cryptocurrency exchange.
512  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Manny Pacquiao vs. Conor McGregor on: October 04, 2020, 03:29:48 PM
There's one listed in the OP but this one which is the latest is different.
https://www.oddschecker.com/us/insight/boxing/boxing/20200927-boxing-odds-conor-mcgregor-vs-manny-pacquiao-betting-breakdown
image album upload
There's a little improvement of the odds if you'll favor Manny Pacquiao to win this fight, though not so attractive but if you like making easy money, you should go for Manny Pacquiao here, all the time.
This is just crazy. Given the odds, I don't think that anyone will make a bet in favor of Manny. If you put $100, then you may get around $10 as profit. But there is always a chance of an upset. McGregor is a very talented fighter and he do have a good chance in this fight. It is up to you guys to decide whether you want to risk $100, just for $10. IMO, the risk is too high and the potential returns are too low.
More than 10% of return is not low if you are sure enough that it's a one sided fight, and it's what would really happen here, though it's just an exhibition fight, I just doubt Conor McGregor could even win one round.
"I just doubt Conor McGregor could even win one round." I'll take that bet  Grin
Well, be caution of this bet because things has happened before now when the underdog takes the game by surprise. The first fight between Anthony Joshua and Andy Ruiz should be a lesson for us all when a fight is be determine. Though am not yet ready for the bet but when ready I will go for the underdog IMO.
513  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is a new investment on: October 04, 2020, 02:42:03 PM
Bitcoin is one of the strong cryptocurrency and it is the most stable digital coin nowadays. Also, bitcoin is one of the promising investment in digital world. Since, peoples economy nowadays are unstable due to the pandimic situation in the world. Peoples are looking for new source of income to improve their economy. Do you think bitcoin is the best investment choice nowadays to earn money?
Sure, you're right but not for weakhands. Bitcoin has been the best investment I have ever seen in recent times because it has the ability to make good increase for investors around the world. For anyone who want to make investment with Bitcoin should do that on the basis of long-term. The only way around this technology is to have a long-term investment which can fetch good profits at the end of the investment. Although, the Bitcoin you see today as stablecoin can work miracles with it volatility, so, carefully watch your actions.
514  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: French police arrest terror financing ring that used Bitcoin coupons on: October 04, 2020, 01:20:27 PM
Crypto is a tool that anyone can use. Therefore, another news denigrating crypto. In this case, this is bad for the industry.
We're not afraid of their bad named called because no  currency under the watch of the World Bank that's not been used for dubious illicit transactions online. Though them be caught in this action makes it  clear that, the hidden transactions we all thought before now aren't hidden anymore. Bitcoin still the very best  online currency that has the solution to world financial problems, in respective of the bad guys usage bitcoin is the true money.
515  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin over $10,000 for the past 66 days on: October 04, 2020, 12:45:48 PM
Bitcoin has been above $10,000 since July 27 and attracts more young investors and crypto enthusiast. Will BTC ever drop under $10,000 ever again.
Well, nobody can tell at the moment because the Bitcoin market hasn't been growing positive due to series of issues in the community. Currently we have been around $10.8k and below but the issue here is, the market might go down because Bitcoin is finding it very much difficult to cross the $10.8k. So, logically the price of Bitcoin can't be said because its not a stablecoin and at that, it's a volatile coin, bitcoin can either go up or down anytime without our consent.
516  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What do think about skill games? on: October 03, 2020, 10:10:19 PM
If you analysis the poll, there are 76% votes for the skills games while there are only 23% votes in favor of traditional slot games.
Even though the poll results show that people favor the skill games over the traditional luck based games but the reality is that most of the gambling games are only luck based.
Of course, because without luck, no matter how good you have gambling skill, you will not win the bet. If you bet without luck then all bet will end in losing without a win. Luckily for those who can win large bet and even jackpot, however I prefer no-skill slot or traditional slot.
Not all gambling games has luck for it gamblers , imagine some good skillful gamblers who choose to gamble with their skills around the industry. Those gamblers can't be place on gamble by luck rather skilful gamblers with a command to win. Though, there is luck in this industry but not when it come to games that required skills. Am a poker gambler, and without the knowledge don't get in because loss will be inevitable.
517  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Are you a high roller? on: October 03, 2020, 09:10:13 PM
Well, categorically I belong to these two class of gamblers, due to my ability to minimize risk while gambling, I usually have to get into the lucky zones through my low roller, and if eventually landed me into the lucky zones then I will switch to a high roller. Most of my rolls throughout my slot games are often lower into the lucky zones.
518  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Bitcoin sportsbook bonuses on: October 03, 2020, 08:47:59 PM
That's why crypto casinos are growing because they have that kind of feature that helps us gambler to keep our privacy, even regulated casinos does not require KYC so that's the freedom we are really enjoying until now, however that days could be over if regulators will be more strict in implementing the law.
I hope that there will always be crypto casinos that will allow you to play without KYC. They understand that this is one of their competitive advantages and will therefore resist the introduction of KYC as much as they can.
Yeah, there are gambling casinos that without KYC and those casinos actually have thousands of gamblers around their platform. Personally, as a gambler i don't gamble on a platform where KYC is made mandatory because my identity isn't negotiable. Though, some gambling casinos doesn't intend to implement this laws, but due to government's regulations; they have to implement.
519  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Is UniSwap the most powerful in the Defi market? on: October 02, 2020, 10:11:09 PM
Well uniswap is the real deal and uni will remain the top defi token in my opinion atleast till we see a bigger and better platform that can outperform the uniswap in this space. At the moment even centralized crypto businesses are under threat due to uniswap.
We have seen this before now and the end results wasn't good rather end in baddest. We shouldn't be in a hurry to draw the conclusion about uniswap going to be the best in the industry. Hope we don't see the opposite of this uniswap defi project like what we saw during the errand of ICO. I couldn't see reasons why someone will tell me about uniswap going to be the best when it fees has been on the rise. Though the project has given much awareness to general public about cryptocurrency and decentralization.
520  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Trump gets Covid and we Crash? on: October 02, 2020, 09:29:34 PM
This how our "independent" from global market industry works. Anything could cause new dump here, sorry
We all know that President Trump is a figure and the United States is also one of the holders in Bitcoin in terms country capacity. When i saw the tweet from Mr. President, I thought as much that the price will surely fall downward, within few hour's of my thought it fell. The price of Bitcoin solely depends on news either negative or positive, we can't run away from what Bitcoin is( in terms of volatility and speculatives assets it is.)
