*** IMPORTANT ***

The operator of the mokux mine has rented mining equipment and pointed it at his own pool.  He has now bypassed the 50% of network hashrate threshold that he knows he should not be passing.   (www.mokux.com) I have contacted him personally and gotten no response.  At this point I have to ask the community:

If you have miners pointed at him please make sure to move them to a different pool of your choosing.  The longer a pool exceeds 50%
of network hashrate the greater the chance of duplicated transactions, or a fork in the block chain.  We want to avoid this at all costs.

**Again PLEASE MOVE YOUR RIGS TO ANOTHER POOL OF YOUR CHOOSING.  MOKUX is endangering us all.  ***

Only 2 TH now.... what the total network speed?

Been reading up in this thread about this coin and i think this is solid stuff.
Pointed 2TH towards the xpool and are considering adding another 4TH.
Only downside seems to be i missed the release Cry

Thanks a bunch!

Payouts are daily M-F after 7 PM EST.

Cheers

(8/14)**Official BTCD Multipool Now Operating--Reliable, Profitable, Trustworthy**
Since there is only 2 multipools, you make it sound like mine is not, reliable, profitable or trustworthy which IMO it is as well.

Mind calling it simply the official multipool and leave the rest for the miners to decide.

That is not attack over your multipool, it just describes the official multipool, no one is forced to switch, if you want i can also in details explain why -Reliable, Profitable, Trustworthy

i agree members should choose.

I didn't think so but it gives the impression.

Sure, explanations are always  good. Just for clarity.

5093  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][XNC] XenCoin | Instant | Stable | Long term Support - New UPDATE!!! on: August 15, 2014, 02:48:08 PM
not sure who's mining Xencoin out on my pool, www.hasher.ca but I'm going to take it offline for a bit. It seems to be constantly using a lot of CPU and my other pools need the priority.

Will see if it's one of the causes to the higher load and then figured something out.

What exchanges is this coin listed on now. Might be just me but I couldn't find it on Bittrex.

it was delisted for lack of volume. Not sure where to find it now. Looks kinda dead to me...

For those interested, bigVern (cryptsy) said he will implement a new system where we could trade any coin to any other coin instead of first converting to LTC and/or BTC

That's hilarious.

Cryptsy cannot even withdraw my XC without losing it for 4 days ... 3 times in a row. Even with support contacted multiple times each instance.
And this happened the last couple weeks.

I can tell you with certainty that Cryptsy will have zero chance at doing anything cutting edge.
I personally will never .. ever use them again. And was a very good customer of theirs for awhile in the past.

they are a pain in the ass. Every night I'm bugging them to processing my multipool's BTCD withdraws.

So, has anyone done the math. Is it cheaper to rent a mining rig and point it to the multipool, or just buy the stuff? Any idea of BTCD per GHs?

its usually not good to rent to mine on a multipool it will be better to buy it, but if you have your own rigs than its profitable

What kind of mining and Ghs are you talking about? Wasn't BTCD at PoS stage that doesn't depend on a hardware?

-- Sorry if this turns out to be a stupid question...

yeah exactly but for people that want to mine there are existing multipools.
you can point your miner on the multipool which will mine the most cost effective coin that will be sold on exchanges to buy btcd.

Yeah I wouldn't recommend renting to point at multipools unless you're expecting a big rise in price. You can see some stats from my BTCD multipool here:
