Keep the ideas coming...
Some Hollywood studio executive may stumble upon this thread., and see the potential.
I'd like a small role for myself in the MtGox sequel: a sex scene with Amy Adams who'll be playing a GOX Sr. Account executive.

Ok, but I get to be the stunt-double...

Might take a couple shots... (Pun intended)

You know... lens-cap still on... Batteries died... Wrong format... Bad lighting... Dirty lens... Accidental deletion... Car-noises in the background... CUT, Take 69!
522  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Official Thread: AMT on: February 26, 2014, 06:44:28 PM
OMG, you are indeed the douchebag of the year. Assuming C0Kez3R0 is telling the truth, who the fuck are you to lecture about his personal decisions? ROFL.

If it is true... that is even worse. (He is the one throwing his "personal decisions" at me/us.)

He is the one who said, "I clearly need to learn to make better decisions"..."might not get married..." (Shocker! Intentions of post? Sympathy/begging.)

Then he asked for "help" from "us"... (Money, advice?) He did not ask AMT anything. They already contacted him, multiple times. What help would you be doing... Go there, build it, and pack it for AMT to deliver it to him faster... Go pick it up yourself, and deliver it to him personally?

I offered him advice. Not going to give him money. Tough love is help... Reality check is help... Giving to moochers is not help... Moochers who blow rent on 80GHs miners and 1.2THs miners, then beg for more money (help). Oh, and LIE.

He didn't come back, the fourth time... for help with the miner. He has been told when it will ship. He was told not to use the forum to ask about his specific delivery again. (Told to contact them directly.)

He is begging for someone to give him money, or buy it from him, or whatever. (That is unclear) He isn't asking for a refund. (That is clear.)

Want more advice.. Mine TEKcoin solo with your 80GHs miner that you already have delivered... You will make a ton more than mining BTC.

Going back to turning my quarters into rings, to sell on ebay for $5.00 each... until the video is posted and my miner is delivered. Tongue Enjoy the silence.
523  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Official Thread: AMT on: February 26, 2014, 03:17:08 PM
i can't argue with an obvious asshole. let's just stop and agree "you win".

You (clenell), honestly, I can actually sympathize with... I don't agree with you, but I do sympathize with you. Though, only an "Awwweee" from me.. Tongue

Because in one year from now... (If you don't just cash-out your BTC as you earn it.) You will be saying the same things we all say... "Damn, I knew I should have gotten another miner! Look how much I freaking made!"

In a YEAR, not a MONTH. Tongue (Since monthly rent is the topic of his plea above.)

You can argue with me... I don't mind. (I like that about you. Tongue)
I don't win... Not until I have my miner too... (Which is right behind his)
But I won't throw BS to get a refund, or ask for hand-outs, or beg for sympathy for my actions.
I eat them like a man... with a side of bacon, lots of salt, and with my bare hands... No napkin!

P.S. I like my coffee like I like my ladies... Strong black and hot!

P.P.S. Updated timeline to include "eviction"... Thus.. no rent due? That places two months behind even further back, before he even placed the order. (You can't be evicted until after two months of no rent payment. First and last month was paid on day one. That would make three months of non-payment of rent.) Also, evicted right before actual original due date anyways. Lies!

P.P.P.S. That video would do a LOT to appease many of us, for a week or two... or an hour... at-least.
524  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Official Thread: AMT on: February 26, 2014, 02:33:46 PM
Obviously it wasn't plenty...
Obviously he has one already... Hashing away now at 80GHs... (What would 1.2THs give? More debt... He spend $6000, it will not make him $6,000+ in a month, now or back then. If it did, he would still be at $0)
Obviously, having the 1.2THs miner a month earlier would not have mattered, if he is 2-months behind in rent...
Obviously, he ran out WAY before then, and borrowed more money...

Do you know how to do time-lines? (Or just not realize obvious lies?)

Editing timeline... Give me a sec... (Ghetto detective work here, since that is acceptable in the forums it seems.)

Order: 847
Item: 80 GH/s (received 1/10)
Item: 1.2TH/s (not received)
Ordered: 12/3/13

FEB 07/13, Registers
DEC 1/13, Rent Due (Sure he borrowed here... I'm gonna buy a money maker! Lend me some money! Look at that price!)
DEC 3/13, Orders miners (Has "enough left over")
JAN 1/14, Rent Due (Borrows money for rent, obviously didn't have enough.) ? rent not paid
JAN 10/14, Gets 80GHs miner
JAN 26/14, Still mining... (Making dollars a day! Paying dollars a day!)
FEB 1/14, Rent due again, Gets $350 electric bill too...  (Borrows more from GF, family) ? Rent not payed
FEB 10/14, Has mined a month with 80GHs (Still borrowing money)
FEB 21/14, (Evicted)... no rent... Huh
FEB 26/14, (Behind month rent, rent almost due again {2-months behind/borrowed}) ? evicted
MAR 1/14, Rent due again, Expecting another $350 electric bill too... (Would be $650 mining with 80GHs and 1.2THs now, if he got it.) ? evicted

Add "Got miner 1.2TH" at JAN 10/14... and rent would still be behind... money would still be borrowed... nothing would have changed, except he would be paying more electric bills.

The machine doesn't just start paying your bills for you once you start mining with it. You have to cash it in, wait for money to come, then spend it. It still will not make enough (immediately), to cover the original cost spent on it, within a month. Even if the value and diff never changed. His rent would still not have been paid, and his electric would have sucked up all gains first, then he would have to break-even, then finally "start to climb out of the hole".

Thus, lies... or truth, and put everyone at risk, for personal gain, inconsiderate of others. (Or dumb... but that would be harsh to say. He did invest in a BTC miner, that was smart! Just with everyone-else's money... which was also smart. But failed him. {Spending rent on a miner is spending your landlords money}, {Borrowing is spending others money}.)

So... White-knight Clenell... help him then... Otherwise your lack of help, only an "Awwweee" of sympathy, makes you as big of a douche as me. Because you know he is full of it, as much as we all do.

He is driving a hummer, holding out a cup, asking for change... because he can't afford the gas for his hummer.

No, reality is.. buyers remorse... (Should not have gotten a hummer) The rest is lies. Sure it sounded good in his head, as he typed it out though... Just doesn't add-up.
525  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Official Thread: AMT on: February 26, 2014, 02:05:27 PM
wow... douche bag of the month comment there.

I am a douche because I don't like liars and leeches and people who place others in harms way.. Then I am a douche...

He had a choice to pay rent, or buy a miner... he bought a miner... and is now (and I am sure he did this before buying the miner), draining everyone of their hard earned money. Or it is all a lie, and still, scum.

He is the one presenting the facts/lies, not me.

Help him clenell... (You wouldn't. Well OK then.. I thought as much)

Mind you... he already got his 80GHs miner... so he purchased TWO miners and is falling behind in rent, food, electric yadda yadda yadda... (Obviously this, his debts, were a pre-existing condition, to any purchase he made... or lies)

I'll help... since you are destitute... I'll give your landlord $1000 for your order, so you can pay rent. I'll mine with it, and give your parents, your gf, and her parents $2000 later, in addition to the $1000 paid in cash, to your landlord. If you want, I'll take the 80GHs one you already have in your possesion, for another $300 cash, directly to you, as a bonus. With another $600 mining bonus to the other you owe. That is $3900 total...
526  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Official Thread: AMT on: February 26, 2014, 01:58:47 PM
...
I have used up all the money in my checking...
burned through all the money in my savings...
I have lived off my fiance's income for a month...
borrowed from her parents just to make rent...
borrowed from my parents just to pay bills...

next month's rent and bills are due in less than a week

I have sustained enough losses so far, and the money I would have made mining is nearly impossible now.

I will need the money to get my life back together, and I  am honestly thinking that I will hold off on my own wedding because I clearly need to learn to make better decisions before they start to affect anyone else.

I agree with "I clearly need to learn to make better decisions"...

So.... how exactly were you going to pay for power and rent and food... if the miners were delivered a month ago? You would still have burned through all that, and more... and even more, until you broke-even...

If she marries you... she is getting scammed... by you. You just admitted you are a freeloader with real poor judgement and absolutely no ability to make economical decisions. Might want to move back home, until you can afford to live alone... You can't afford you... you can't afford her... you can't afford to operate a miner... you surely can't afford an accidental kid (or the birth-control that would prevent that from happening)... and you DEMAND sympathy from us, in addition to AMT, for your poor judgement.

Sorry... Can't find it in my soul to contribute to a professed lost cause. (Hey I am bankrupt, owe everyone, can't handle money, can you lend me a dollar and correct my errors for me, I have better things to do, like find others to loaf off-of... There are still a few more relatives in my family.)

Sounds like your miner is already owed to your parents, and your GF's parents, and your landlord. Might want to give it to them. They obviously have money, and know how to manage it. Well, maybe not, if they loaned you some.

You are either a liar, or all of the above is true... In any event, "I" have no sympathy for you. So your plea for "me"/"us" to help you is falling on deaf ears here. Only replying, since you asked for "us" to help.

I will offer this free tip/help... Stop buying crap you can't afford, and stop leeching off others. Let the girl go... You will just drag her down with you.

Best way for "us" to truly help you, is by NOT helping you. Since your idea of help is "us do it for you".
527  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Unofficial BITMINE CoinCraft series 28nm ASIC miners thread on: February 26, 2014, 12:28:52 PM
KNC is the de facto leader in this game with their hashing power guarantee. Everything else is pretty much useless due to the exponential nature of difficulty increase. Big unknown is future fiat exchange rate of course.

Someone hasn't been following the KNC threads... lol

You do realize you just nullified your own argument...

"exponential difficulty increase" (Historically exponential, yet slowing-down.)
"unknown future fiat exchange rate" (Historically exponential, and seemingly growing.)

At the end of the day... "What you earn now" is irrelevant to "What you will get when YOU decide what price YOU will eventually settle for".

However, having more is always better, and having more, faster, is also better.
We don't need the obvious to be pointed-out.

If you only earn 0.001 BTC with your miner, and the price ever hits $99,999,999.00/BTC, you have made a great gain. (That is roughly $99,999.99) I can earn that with my CPU, and have. Just waiting 4 years now, for it to hit my selling target.

530  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: NO PROOF MtGox is insolvent - Document possibly a Hoax? - STOP THE FUD! on: February 25, 2014, 10:19:01 PM
Lol...  Youre sort of right OP.
No proof of insolvency... not as much as proof of near total BANKRUPTCY.

Near total bankruptcy... is that like near total death... or "not dead", or "not bankrupt".

Gox is being nailed by spammers, hackers and noobs with DDOS attacks. That is why support is down (shut-down by zendesk themselves), and twitter (shut-down by twitter themselves), and why they moved the office (at request of the other tennants and land-lord), and have disabled "logins" (to protect you from someone possibly having logged-in after having stolen your credentials, after being infected following these FUD articles listed on infected websites.)

The DNS is still there, the HTTPs cert-auth is still there, the offices are still there and filled with working employees...

The only ones completely clueless about what is going on, anywhere, is the bitcoin foundation. They were clueless about the last resignation, and this one, and the many others that will follow. They are just ad-space to advertise your BTC business. They don't actually do anything, or know anything.

They removed the word "insolvent", because I am sure they were told to, by lawyers, since that is slander without proof or knowledge of the situation. Just as I am sure BTCe will remove the word "bankrupt" from the statement they made. Of all the people in the loop, BTCe would hardly be one of those even remotely close to any loop. They just repeated what they were told, or they are the ones spreading the FUD themselves. (Think about that for a second... If they had a clue what is going on, they would not have released a statement like that. That statement alone, shows they are clueless.)

The fact that Gox is down, and still, nothing has changed, only confirms that "Gox's issues" actually had nothing to do with anything on any other exchange. All exchanges have been falling for almost a month now. Weeks before all this crap about Gox rolled-out.

Gox was purposely being held down, by someone simply cashing-out, at any cost, because he/they could. He/they were willing to cash-out for less, and we were all willing to buy those discount coins from him, for less. No-one was forced to pay less. There was no crash. We were all making out like bandits. We will again, once gox opens the gates.

Then the price on all exchanges will go back up, as less people become unable to sell for less, and more people are willing to pay a little more money for a little less BTC.

I am sure there were a few pissed thieves, with coins stuck in the exchange, who had not been identified yet, or had, and were just not "called-out". You can't prosecute them for taking BTC, as easily as you can for prosecuting them for "attempting to launder into cash". Letting them get less cash was the smartest thing to do. They didn't get any cash that anyone wasn't willing to part with. We all voluntarily gave-up our cash for those discount BTC. In the end, he does not actually get that cash, and chances are, some govt will.

Shit happens... Deal with it.

Do you all freak-out this much on the weekends when the banks close?

Would you freak-out this much if the bank holding your money closed, because they had threats of robbers coming to rob the place?

No, You would be glad that they shut the doors, told you to go home, and wait it out. Seriously, would you rather they kept the doors open, and you would just HOPE the robbers don't come before you, or while you are there?

Go to the park, come back in a few days... Once we all have something solid. It is not like the guy is going to go anywhere, or spend any money. What is he going to do, use his bank, pay in cash, hide in Atlantis or Zimbabwe? I hear USD gets you a lot there!

2 pages is a long list? (23 posts)

Use smaller fonts... or text-2-speech... much more fun!

Curious to know what you "expected"... since this is "more than you expected"... (Funny that you expected more or less at all. Tongue)

Remind me not to put you in my selection of peers for a trial by jury!

Since we don't need proof... I say you stole our money... Throw you in jail. Tongue

You do realize how crazy that makes you sound, and how much that hurts any credibility of your statements.. right?

I released a document like that too, here in the forums... similar in nature. So what... That isn't proof of anything, other than proof of my thoughts.

Yea, because Gox makes full outlines of exit plans... in PDF, and releases them as common memo's to everyone. lol... idiots.
534  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: DONT LET MARK KARPÈLES LEAVE THE COUNTRY! on: February 25, 2014, 07:51:10 PM
If you have proof of this, as to leaked documents by the manipulators then I could believe this. What Gox did is 'theft', there is a provided solution of dealing with those who break the law.
This is actually the peoples fault for not listening, nothing more.

Show proof of theft...

Manipulators don't keep records and documents... (Myself included. Would you like a sworn statement from me? I will admit I manipulate markets. That is what everyone does, who trades. Manipulation is not illegal.)

Who can trust exchanges right now.
If MtGox has issues other exchanges will have the same issues sooner or later.
Don't trust any exchange company and get out your bitcoins right now that you can do it, later you can end like mtgox customers without nothing.

Best words ever spoken...

Oh and USD... until some exchange actually does open with open-audits from a third-party, and some form of "civil regulation"... Not govt regulation.

Demand it of them!

Really? Stop spreading more fear. We don't need conspiracy theories too now.

That was fact... Not FUD... There was no conspiracy theory. That is what has been documented and seen over the past two months. Remove the FUD from the spam-posts, and focus on the actual events that happened, and it is a lot more clear.

Same shit, different day... Only with a larger audience and bigger losses/gains, for the participants/victims.

They did it to silver and gold, left those dead markets, and came here. These exchanges are easier to manipulate (while unregulated), than the unregulated silver and gold markets they were paper-trading on before. Proof is in the pudding. Last man standing is the one who held the torch on the bottom, that burned-down those on the top of the dry-grassy hills.

Yes, I truly believe that a "brand new exchange", grew spontaneously overnight, into the largest volume trader, honestly. Funny, they didn't have those BTC for long before. Yet, amazingly as our BTC volume decreases, they continue to grow. Trading freely while draining the other exchanges. Starting with the one on top, working their way down the list. Pure speculation... My bad... I just started trading 20 years ago... I am new to this. Tongue

540  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: CALL to all major exchanges, temporally waive trading fees, so we can recover on: February 25, 2014, 07:14:39 PM
ok, what happened at BTC china the last few months of 2013?
They had zero fees and insane volume, and the prices rocketed from 130 to 1000 really fast.

What happened was this...

Market was pumped, people deposited money, they purchased (fractions of BTC) for large dollar amounts...

Then... The pump stopped, and the ones who pumped began to dump, taking that money, with little actual BTC lost in the process...

Why did it stop... Because now it takes MORE BTC to get that same $1000 than it did at the top of the pump, where they only lost (fractions of BTC), to get that money.

Now they withdraw cash... and no-one has money left to buy the overpriced BTC. Thus, price fall.

Welcome to the world of "Trades and exchanges"... Hope you learned enough this time, to thrive next time.
