522  Economy / Economics / Re: [POLL] What share of your savings are in Crypto\Fiat right now? on: December 11, 2017, 04:05:03 PM
Well, I need to balance my savings and investments for crypto and physical money, digital assets are still in development phase though some microtransactions businesses support payments using bitcoin or other altcoins, still the majority of firms and business accepts traditional fiat rather than digital coins, why? stability and scaling issues, plus fiat is still the most used currency for everyday use while cryptocurrencies usage are more than investments and trading, but the future is clear, we will use one of the cryptocurrencies out there to be an alternative way of fiat monetary systems.
523  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: $0,08 in July, 2010 and $17000 today!!! What was your first price? on: December 11, 2017, 03:30:13 PM
First encounter and first price of bitcoin way back 2015 is $250, still a college student that time and I'm taking my OJT to finish my degree, that time didn't have enough bucks to buy a single bitcoin due to the fact that I'm still studying, that time I really want to buy just 1 bitcoin because I have a good feeling about it, then back to the present the regrets and frustration is still crawling into my minds, but still we need to move on and find another opportunity.
524  Economy / Economics / Re: Still Buying Bitcoin at $10K? on: December 05, 2017, 03:12:35 PM
The price is so expensive right now, it is a huge gamble and risk most for small-time players in cryptocurrencies the same annoying line from people who said the same thing back in the time while btc's price at 2k to 3k, you cannot see any big time dump on its price these days because of the demand and the establishments to its community and businesses whales, the gap to its opportunity is closing little by little each day missing out the opportunity, most if they've fixed the scaling issues and fees in the future, it will most likely have a promising price.
525  Economy / Economics / Re: popularity of bitcoin dictates demand, means more profit on: December 05, 2017, 02:19:21 PM
I think i should agree with that popularity dictates demand.  As people gets curious, the more they wanted to know, the greater chance they get into Bitcoin world results to greater demands that leads to higher Bitcoin price which means profit to all investors.
It doesn't mean it is popular the more demand it will get to the majority of people, it is more on positive and productive demand that makes people drive to buy and invest in bitcoin as some of the people didn't really understand what bitcoin really is, they know it is digital currency of just like a stock market trading that's why when bitcoin decreases its price for up to 20 - 30% (which is normal thing to a cryptocurrency) they lose some money then triggers them to accuse btc as a scam, well they are just the minority of individuals who are just hyped and newbie to this world the trend and the knowldge about btc are spreading like a virus to the world all because they want to get in and ride the rocket.
526  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Many national central banks plan to launch digital currency. What do you think? on: December 05, 2017, 01:49:02 PM
In some countries the central bank launched a digital currency independent in consideration, such as the recent news that the European Central Bank in the euro currency ECB-Coin, consider pushing digital encryption currency bank of Canada on self advantages and disadvantages, Russia must figure out the ruble, even bitcoin is not friendly to China, in consideration of the possibility of independent digital currency, Do you think these digital currencies are similar to bitcoins?
Even Jp Morgan released a cryptocurrency which is called quorum and I heard that China is planning to create their own digital currency, In short, the majority of them are decentralized, yes they provided the solutions for the scaling issues but the problem here is the control and centralization, some of them have good intentions and purposes for their countries and businesses but a lot of them are just greedy as hell, they've just created a coin over the computer but the monopoly and manipulation are still their agenda.
527  Economy / Speculation / Re: Waiting for the dip to buy, but its not coming... on: December 05, 2017, 01:30:50 PM
I keep waiting for the price to drop to buy some more. Not much just a few hundred bucks worth.... but geez it keeps going up! 15K by the end of the year? 20? Should I just go ahead and get them now?

Perhaps you will feel better if I tell you that many people are waiting for correction of bitcoin. Not only you  Grin
Most of the dip of bitcoin is really unexpected and unpredictable, we can only speculate, guess and have some courage to take the risk to lose or double your money, what we're seeing is some small dips due to the volatility and live trading. For me, you should go now and place your bets on the roller coaster, I'm always saying to the folks that are asking me about waiting for dips, well I always answer them that they should grab the opportunity now, don't take too much time to wait for the decrease just make a good timing for small openings and you will be fine, well that time the price of btc is 3k.
528  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are Forks really good for BTC ? on: December 05, 2017, 01:00:44 PM
I think in some point of view hardforks are good for Bitcoin. Because they show how stable Bitcoin is and how powerful its community. This might help Bitcoin to become legal in any country - great support.
it is not stable in terms of its price, fees, transaction speed and users, bitcoin is not stable at all, what's the smooth stability for this coin is the popularity, on price increase and it's throne from being number one cryptocurrency of all time.

the forks surely good to people holds the bitcoin in there wallets , so it's an easy incoming money .. and i see it's not have a direct effect in bitcoin . so it's good to all .
But BCH did some direct minimal damage to its price last month, that time some folks and small-time whales are switching to BCH but unfortunately it didn't last and turns out to be a dump and FUD it really triggers bitcoin to go for 10k plus, the rest are just free coins or free money.
529  Economy / Economics / Re: Beside Cryptocurrenices where would you invest? on: December 04, 2017, 02:41:32 PM
Well if I didn't meet bitcoin and the blockchain, I'm into the stock market and Banking interest rates as well as investing in some precious metals, or planning to have a business (still one my goal in the present) well there is a lot actually, I have a long list of things that are productive and can double my money, but all of them are nothing to cryptocurrency, yes I know the risks and the scams but as long as you know your game plans here, your good to go.
530  Economy / Economics / Re: DO you think china was right to shut down Bitcoin exchanges and ICO? on: December 04, 2017, 02:22:59 PM
Hidden agenda or not, they will surely bring back the ICO's or exchanges, lift the ban but with tight regulations and laws that will impose to those who will attempt to scam any people who invested on any coin or ICO's, admit it or not, some of the cryptocurrencies are just scams,
based on some people, they are trying to control the monopoly of bitcoin, price, mining power etc. we can't say that this is facts but we are basing this statements on their acts and decisions, well I heard last time that they will ban the mining, good luck with them, bitcoins don't need them anyway.
531  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How Will BTC Faucets Deal With A $50,000 Bitcoin Price? on: December 04, 2017, 02:03:02 PM
It kind of sucks as it is now.... with faucets paying 15 or 20 sats, and a 25000 or 30000 or 50000 minimum withdrawal, it’s going to take like a year to a get a payout.  It is no longer worth it, IMO.
It will take like forever actually, how many days and months you're gonna spend to this faucets just to hit the target minimum withdrawal, it is really a waste of time if you don't have tons of active referrals that will support you.

The best way for them is to make the earned satoshi's from faucets convertible to any cryptocurrencies like eth, choice of the user or they will create their own token or coin and reward their users.
532  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin as payment system on: December 04, 2017, 01:38:42 PM
At this moment Bitcoin is not really suited as a payment system. When I want to do a micro-payment for example when I buy groceries at the local supermarket, I have to pay at least $5 to get my payment through. So if I buy groceries for $30, I actually pay $35 which is 17% more than is stated on the bill. However it's not really the fault of Bitcoin, there is a solution called Segwit. But nobody seems to care, because Bitcoin is seen as an asset instead of what it was intended for. If we really want to use it as a payment system again, then more wallet developers have to implement Segwit in their software and users should switch to wallets supporting Segwit addresses.

Agree, scaling issue. Bitcoin simply cannot process too many transactions at once, which ultimately defeat the purpose as a global currency. Imo Bitcoin is more like gold, an asset that has value and can withstands for a very long time. Right now they are too many political issues going around Bitcoin, and it has slowed down the entire evolution of Bitcoin, giving other cryptocurrency a chance to improve themself and become better than Bitcoin in terms of transaction speed.
Agreed with that, one of the biggest problems of bitcoin is the scaling issues, as well as the transfer speed, every day the number of users of bitcoin is exponentially expanding, the network is congested with transactions as well as the spammers, micropayments is really unproductive because the transaction fee is high, they need to upgrade the bitcoin's blockchain but the problem is when? Segwit2x hard fork that supposes to help the btc is called off, the same as the Lightning Network which is still in development phase, I hope we can see and experience the fix very soon.

534  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 'Fraud,' or the Future of Finance? on: November 26, 2017, 04:15:03 PM
He is the real fraud here, he buys 75 million worth of bitcoin then spontaneously bashing it to the public, making it clear that he is into something, the motives are selfishly undeniable that he wants a dip to buy a lot of coins then bash again to dip it then the cycles continue as long as people bite to this FUD's he never really stops for doing it. Well, it looks like your fraud are going to 10k or more by the end of this year so what's the magic word that you will tag? I'm really excited to hear and see what are his review for this pump.

Bitcoin=Blockchain=Future
That's cool mathematical formula, I have one also: BTC+ETH=Future*blockchain=Monetary Innovation
535  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will the price of bitcoin increase forever? on: November 26, 2017, 02:41:38 PM
Since the total number of bitcoin is fixed, so the value of bitcoin will keep grow, and it's price will keep grow also. So will there a price cap for bitcoin?
There's nothing lasts forever, there will be a time that bitcoin will reach the most stable stage of price, it may happen by the time all the miners mined all the total supply and cap of bitcoin making it more stable or it will be the reverse that continues to increase until it reaches the maximum amount that anyone can never imagine as long as the demand will push further, when the time it reaches the firmly fixed price, it may serve as a good use for a normal currency to buy daily things but the improvements for the micropayments transactions are necesarry to act as a currency, but in the present it is more on investments.
536  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Cryptocurrency Rise, discussion on: November 24, 2017, 05:21:05 PM
No you cant use a bitcoin or a cryptocurrency one daily basis because of the acceptance of these currencies
Either you have to convert it into dollars and use it on amazon or steam
You can use bitcoin as an actual fiat on a daily basis of living it's just not productive to use this coin for smaller transactions or what we call micropayments as you pay more fees than the actual payment which is inconvenient to use, well we just need to wait for the improvements to the network without increasing the block size.

these and slowly slowly due to growth of bitcoins ,it is been accepted at variety of places and we should all spread the news about crypto's so that many people will get to know about it
actually there are a lot of people who knows bitcoin, as the trend and demand increasing added by the technological advancement and popularity throughout the world.
537  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I want to buy around 1000 coins on: November 24, 2017, 05:10:25 PM
If I want to buy around 1000 coins for lesser amount, which coin should I buy?
Why don't you just buy around 5 to 10 coins from the top 20 altcoins from the coinmarketcap than buying tons of altcoins that will make you loose a lot of them in no time, it is more convenient to track and manage a good and quality coins with a good team behind them, so that you can utilize your budget and invest more for a deserving coin rather than gambling for the thousands of coins. quantities of coins are useless without a good quality and variety from them but the quantity of your capital can vary and determine between fast and slow results.
538  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: In what countries can people buy real estate with bitcoins? on: November 24, 2017, 04:42:46 PM
In what countries can people buy real estate with bitcoins? How legal are the deals?
Most of the countries that made bitcoin a legal form of payment taken by any regulation imposed by the Government officials most of them are in the USA and some Asian countries as long as the bitcoin is not banned for that kind of transaction, you can also make a deal for a people who sell their estate by fiat and convince to make the payment out of btc, there are a lot of websites that sells real estates for bitcoin just watch out for scam sites.
539  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin loses 20% in an hour on: November 24, 2017, 04:35:06 PM
...and then another 20% in the next hour.... after 2 hours we move below 5000 .... and still going down...passing 3000
What valid arguments or points for you to proudly say that it will decrease 20% for the next hours these days? or your just speculating that it will happen, $3000 is so much of a normal dump for btc, if that will going to happen, this will be a good opportunity rather than taking it as a negative impact for the traders to buy more btc while on that state of price but that's not possible for these days to decrease that low.

...and then another 20% in the next hour.... after 2 hours we move below 5000 .... and still going down...passing 3000

At which point do you plan on bailing out?

Any rational investor has a stop-loss strategy. It can be different dependent on risk appetite, but is must be there if one is a rational investor.

As a matter of gauging risk-appetite, what is your stop-loss strategy?
There will be no stop loss strategy as we will keep holding those coins until it reaches a promising price as your price prediction is not valid to take measures for your speculation.
540  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin DIAMOND FORK - Binance support on: November 24, 2017, 04:17:47 PM
Binance is preparing for the upcoming Bitcoin Diamond (BCD) hard fork (estimated to occur on 2017/11/24).
So new free coin for BTC holders in Binance!

What do you think on this BCD? Is it a shit coin? It seems like it doesnt affect BTC at all Grin

Brace yourselves for another coin that will give you another free money without doing anything, next in line is the bitcoin silver and the bitcoin copper, are they serious about this one? they just literally going to take all precious mineral down to metal, they are running out of names, aren't they? another obvious scam coin like BTG without a good trend and impact to the original at all. Op, is there any legit article about this one to showcase its distinctive features besides increasing the block size making it an obvious scam and centralized.
