521  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin accepted as a type of installment on: November 20, 2017, 12:10:46 PM
Would be Bitcoin still be high in demand if its introduced and accepted by the market worldwide ? or the Bitcoin sales will increase ?

It is already being accepted my thousands of companies and markets all over the world and since you mention the title as 'installment', it gets harder for an entity to process periodic payments through Bitcoin as the buyer does not disclose any of his personal information in the process in most cases. Then it would be the company's headache to send debt collectors behind that person and it would be a big mess.

523  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: what is the right time to cash out? on: November 19, 2017, 07:23:05 AM
What happened to you right there was a perfect example of a 'panic sell' case wherein you feared of going deeper in loss rather than believing that Bitcoin would rebound back and this is a consequence of your own decisions. Bitcoin is known to have made a strong come back everytime it has dipped by a significant amount so you just need to judge by having an eye on Bitcoin's price often to make sure you're making maximum profit at your sell.
524  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What was your reaction the first time you heard the word "cryptocurrency" on: November 19, 2017, 07:00:40 AM
When I first heard about cryptocurrency I could infer that it would be based on some kind of cryptographic algorithm to create a currency system but it took me a while to realise that it would be online and on the blockchain. Utilizing SHA-256 to encrypt every transaction and it foolproof by a verification system based on hashing power was just one step into the future that this system successfully brought into light.
525  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Friends, who can tell me is there any 0% house edge casinos? on: November 17, 2017, 05:08:56 PM
House edge is essentially the factor keeping all the casinos afloat by having an edge over the players. With any promises of the house edge being 0%, it feels like there would still be some sort of a loophole that the site would be relying on, or its just a plain scam. Either ways till that casino is verified to be legitimate, refrain from using it.
526  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ANY ADVICE ON ICO PROMOTION? on: November 17, 2017, 02:13:58 PM
Hi everyone,

I am planning to launch ICO. The product I've developed is Diamond Guard. Basically, it is a hardware wallet for storing cryptocurrency that can also be used as a node to build a decentralized VPN connection. This latter trick serves the function of protecting user's anonymity. Beyond that, the device has a screen interface, supports multi-factor security system (including biometrics) to protect user's info. In addition to that, Diamond Guard can be connected to other devices through Wi-Fi. Finally, Diamond Guard can also be used for PoS mining or computing.

More info if you are interested:https://www.diamondguard.io/

We are still in the pre-launch stage. So I am happy for any suggestions. Do you think the project can fly? Any advice on promotion/

Cheers

Interesting project you're trying to start there, using a hardware wallet as an open VPN connection. Though it is very unlikely that someone could trace down coins, that too to the device you used to send it from, seems compelling but I would like to see the response when you hit the markets.

Your project would need a bounty campaign allotting a very small portion of the tokens for it. Begin with social media campaigns like Twitter, Facebook and continue through blog campaigns as these are engaging platforms for gaining maximum outreach towards your project. Resort to having a translation campaign to translate the whitepaper and ANN's to various languages for the local folk to understand. A BTC signature campaign would be a big win as you will be hiring high quality posts to spread the word through their signatures.
527  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Where is going BCH ? on: November 17, 2017, 01:54:10 PM
I believe Bitcoin Cash to be the only legitimate hard fork of Bitcoin which aimed at bringing about an improvised protocol for betterment unlike Bitcoin gold and all the forks to happen in the future. With that said, it's only fair to say BCH will be the top most contender for BTC as it recently even pipped ETH market cap wise.
528  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading bitcoin on indian exchange is a joke on: November 17, 2017, 02:19:30 AM
Welcome to the Indian Bitcoin scene where most exchanges are focused on making profit and don't care about customers and their experience. Zebpay is literally the biggest joke here as they set their own buy/sell prices irrespective of the price of Bitcoin and the users here are deluded enough to buy from them. With not many options to choose from and lbtc also being a hub for scammers, it is very difficult to trade Bitcoin effectively for profit in India.
529  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Unconfirmed Transaction on: November 16, 2017, 05:35:57 PM
People like and use Bitcoin over altcoins as it was the first of its kind. Imagine if everyone migrated to something like Ethereum, even its network would begin facing congestion problems as the number of users overwhelm the network pushing for transactions to be included in the next block.
It is fortunate that the congestion on the network compared to the last few days is almost down by over 50% which is great news for faster confirmations.
530  Economy / Economics / Re: impacts off cryptocurrency on: November 16, 2017, 12:53:04 PM
Cryptocurrencies have a substantial impact on both economic and social development. There have been up and coming projects which aim to provide blockchain solutions to underdeveloped countries in Africa, given that these projects actually make their mark, they are sure to bring an incredible positive change and would help the common people of the nations with all their needs.
Limited technology and accessibility could be the first hurdle here, but with big eyers eyeing down on these projects, it could help out to be a reaching hand to provide basic facilities for the folks.
531  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Gold , A scam ? Please Help on: November 16, 2017, 12:39:39 PM
Hello Everyone, i have recently invested in bitcoin gold when price was 400 dollar and was rising. So i thought of giving the shot  but since then the price is dumping like anything.

I was reading through twitter and facebook. Many people claiming it to be scam. I really would like to know from people whether its really a scam ? If i would move out now i may still save some dollar.

What did you expect from a premined coin, the developers of which have no focus on optimization for the future and only seek a fast way to pocket some cash? You should've waited till the whole thing unfolded unlike jumping on a hype train before investing in it and now you're in a deep hole where even cutting losses wouldn't be feasible at this point. Just sell it before it digs itself into a deeper hole and plan your future investments with proper research.
532  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will the Bitcoin fees go down? on: November 15, 2017, 05:13:43 PM
Just remember that Bitcoin fees is always dependent upon the network congestion and the total number of transactions waiting in the mempool to be mined. Currently with the the seemingly increasing uncertainty, it is looking like the fees for an average transaction to be included within the next 10 blocks would be high given that the fee is over 100k satoshis which is quite a lot for smaller transactions. Will take quite some time for the network to ease up and then the miner fee might go lower.
533  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: is it advisable to stock up on btc now? on: November 15, 2017, 01:09:56 PM
There's no particular timeframe where it could be said that holding Bitcoin would be advisable as on the longer run, the profit is assured to roll in. With a few weeks of experience in understanding the price trends and the various factors contributing towards the variation in price, you can be the judge yourself whether it would a good time to stock up Bitcoin.
534  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The damage is spread to all Crypto Currencies on: November 14, 2017, 05:13:44 PM
Its all a series of events towards betterment in my opinion, as we move ahead in this technological era, we have to keep ourselves updated with the highest level of available tech, moving on from the older ones. By saying this, I nod the implementation of altcoins, improvising on code and being applied to pertaining fields but I highly condemn hard forks on the Bitcoin main chain as these are mere efforts to extract money from an already stable entity on the pretext of calling it outdated which is highly detrimental.
535  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: BTG Dev's Allot Themselves 8,000 BTG's Worth $50 Million USD @ Launch on: November 14, 2017, 05:38:51 AM
It was pretty evident from the beginning that Bitcoin Gold would be premined the shit out of and it didn't fail to deliver. Anyone and everyone who supported this stupid fork must be thinking be on suicide watch right now. Its best to completely ignore this token like it never happened and move on as its value plummets down to the single digit mark which is when the realization of an utterly miserable attempt to fork for money hits the devs.
536  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Russia, India & China prepare to BAN bitcoin? on: November 14, 2017, 05:24:58 AM
Most of this has to do with ICOs and not Bitcoin itself. With many of ICOs just proving to be foreign investments for the citizen of a country, its the nation baring the loss of tax evasion and with smaller amounts it goes untraceable. In India, I'm pretty sure they won't ban Bitcoin as the government and the RBI are set to launch their own cryptocurrency and banning Bitcoin here would make no sense at all.
537  Economy / Economics / Re: Will there ever be a Bitcoin Bank on: November 14, 2017, 04:42:02 AM
The whole point of having a bank is to regulate money in a particular region and this is exactly the opposite of what Bitcoin proposes, decentralisation. Banks are centralised bodies which are run by the government/private agencies whereas Bitcoin is decentralised in nature, having no regulating authority so no, there won't be any Bitcoin Banks in the future either.
538  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoins and Games on: November 13, 2017, 03:33:15 PM
Been playing CS:GO since 2014 and also involved in most of the trading/gambling scene from many years now and it has been a ride with lots of ups and downs for me. Had a peek where I managed to get hold of an inventory worth $2000 with many knives and high tier skins. Made a lot of cash selling these skins for profit until I gambled and ended up losing the rest. I used to sell to trusted buyers who used to offer 65-75% of Steam market price on skins and always stayed away from websites who offer 55-60%. Also been playing Dota 2 from a few years and used to grab a few arcanas for playing SF/Lina.
539  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Best exchanger to convert tokens to ethereum on: November 13, 2017, 03:25:30 PM
Its better off to look for lower tier exchanges like Etherdelta, Mercatox, Cryptopia etc. when it comes to exchanging ERC-20 or any other Ethereum based tokens. These exchanges usually have low fees and a pretty decent trade volume on each token so trading for profit would be feasible. Keep in mind not to get swayed away by pump and dump coins which would be the worst case scenario as a beginner heading out to the trading world.
540  Economy / Services / Re: bitcoin unconfirmed transaction accelerator on: November 12, 2017, 08:51:35 AM
This is your first post on the forum and you're asking 70k satoshis as a fee for accelerating a transaction when there are multiple users offering this service for nothing. Most of the transactions that would surely be over 0.03 and you could be using a free accelerator like ViaBTC to make some free money which isn't entertained here.

EDIT : Nice fast edit mate, good thing you removed the fee for over 0.03 transactions voluntarily.
