I don't like to post sounding like a conspiracy theorist but our horrible luck the last few days does not sit well with me. I had the same feeling during the DDOS attack. Anyone not buying that the two worst periods of luck in the last month have been during a DDOS attack and fire at one of their farms? It is unfortunate because there is nothing we can do to prove that Hashnest has not been up 99.99% as they promise.

It also bothers me that someone from Bitmain posted saying that the drop in hashrate was because of moving Umisoo miners to Bitmain facility. Now they post something completely different.

Just tell us the truth. Compensate us if it is warranted and I don't think anyone will complain. In fact I would be willing to bet sales would go up.

This is now the 2nd or 3rd post I have read from you about not being happy about pool luck, and I, as well as others have responded by being very nice and explaining that variance happens and nothing is out of the ordinary.  But now I am starting to get annoyed.  I didn't see you complaining between the 23rd and 30th when luck was either at 100% or above for an entire straight week, and you were making more than you otherwise would have.  Now we have hit a period where we are slightly below expected payouts and you rant and rant about being unhappy.  Leave the pool then, no one is forcing you to stay here.  You stay because it is the best pool, so take the variance like a man and be grateful that Bitmain provides a zero pool fee service for you to use.

I would suggest learning about how blocks are found and understanding that it is based on luck, and then finding some online courses about statistics and why there is literally no reason to suspect anything based on the numbers from the last few days.

come on we all know that there are people who will never be happy, they will eaither say below luck of 100% they are not running a farm but if it is always at 100% then other people will say they dont mine and just make payments. In eaither case i myself had not noticed the periods where they paid over 100% i sometimes dont log onto hashnest for like 3-5 days maybe longer depending on what i have going on

While i can understand alot of the points you have made i do have one questions, how would it make sales go up, maybe i am missing something i dont know still to early lol

Idk.. I'm not sure if I want to drop 5btc and run the risk. If somehow I had a guarantee I would get ROI, I'd do it.

Common, what type of comment is that. Seriously, a guarantee.... It would not be an investment if it was guaranteed . Maybe try a government backed bond or something.

I have invested in more secure investments in Bitcoin and have been burned. Know this Mr. Fryarminer the only guarantee in Bitcoin is secure encryption of bitcoins you control. And even that only means to date,

Unfortunately, nothing is guaranteed in life, except that one day it will end Smiley

Congrats to Dice for reaching ROI

-Mulletwang

come on i invest in foreign funds and i can tell you i have had some goverment backs bonds go south hardcore, even large blue chip stocks still poze a risk. So like other have said only invest what you can afford to loose so if it goes bad or farm burns down or whatever, you wont be out cold

So anybody got their balance back from amhash.com? If so - please share your experience. I contacted that alex@amhash.com and he told me to write to Asicminer support support@bitquan.com for that. I wrote them but no response and days are passing. It seems that they decided to steal our past dividends (balance) also.

So that means for people who haven't cashed out their prior gains at all, they effectively lost all their investment? Jeez... this is getting better by the minute...

No. Those that did not convert their shares still have the right to pursue legal action for all the funds owed + late interest + lost revenue.
Those that converted will only get the 0.00033BTC/share or whatever it was. Even if friedcat comes back and everything is reinstated, those that converted have no right to anything except the compensation.

well lets hope the pirates let him go as someone had mentioned, hope they dont break fingers or do any harm to where he cant restore everything back to normal, lets all wish a safe return cause i dont want no 0.00033 btc per share when i paid alot more  Shocked

Mining farms notice

In the past few days, a couple of our mining farms have been affected by unfortunate circumstances that were beyond our control. One of our main farms is located near a hydroelectric power station, and due to a fire in the nearby woods, the fiber-optic cable connecting the farm to the internet was damaged beyond repair. We have already set up a satellite internet connection in its place, and this farm is already back to normal. This loss of connectivity is the reason for Antpool's sudden loss of hashpower several days ago.

Another one of our farms (a small one) experienced a short circuit in the electrical transformer on site. Fewer than 2PH/s of hashrate were affected by this. Repairing this transformer could take more than a week. Users with mining contracts on Hashnest.com who have incurred any losses because of these two issues will be compensated by Hashnest and Bitmain.

wow that is a string of bad luck i must say, i hope all the products have insurance in the even the fire got out of control and consume the building up or damage it. I am glad to hear that there will be a way to get compensated of course this makes me personally glad to continue with hashnest  Wink

Withdrawal "Audited" Aspects:
To ensure the security of your accounts assets, we will have manual reviews for each single withdrawal of more than 10BTC as well as the case that there are more than three times of withdrawals from the same account per day, bringing the total to 10 BTC or more.
Also, the withdrawal requests will stay in "audited" status during the maintenance of wallet service, and we will process all these right after the maintenance.

thank you Janet for keeping us informed and posting this on here, only issue is some people seem to have account being audited when they are not even anywhere near 10 bitcoin a day or for that matter even 10 bitcoin in all combined period

Hey miners!

I hope you enjoyed your Easter. I spent mine with my family and did not have a lot of time on the internet these past days.
I have just gotten a new job and will have a little less time to spent on managing MBM. However, I am still working hard on getting all the details for the future of MBM down. Tomorrow, I have a network meeting where I can discuss the legal aspects with a lawyer, and I will be getting another appointment with him/her afterwards. First on the agenda is what kind of company will suit this business best when we are 2 people in different countries, and secondly all the legal aspects of Bitcoin in my country.

I looked into the sketchy investments and I am 100% unable to recreate this issue that you guys are seeing. I will let it be up to you to decide:
Do you want me to disable them both until we launch the rpg-like game or keep it as it is where it pays approx 80% of the time?

Also, the contract dividends will be paid out later today when I get back from work. I did not have time for it during Easter and was busy Tuesday as well. I haven't forgotten you though Wink

will there ever be some way to have extra workers working like lets say one iron mine or coal mine. I was just wondering since gold mine can have several, well up to 5 before cart is needed

At the moment this will not be enabled, but it is possible that in the future you can decide which resource to focus your workers on. I cannot guarantee anything yet since we have a lot of other things cooking Smiley

Captcha is not working at the moment, after clicking 'Start Mining', I get a 500 Internal Server Error return

i am having the same problem keep on getting this error just right now

Internal Server Error

The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request.

Please contact the server administrator at webmaster@mybitmine.co to inform them of the time this error occurred, and the actions you performed just before this error.

More information about this error may be available in the server error log.

Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

Thank you guys for reporting this. I will investigate it when I get back from work.
My initial thought though is that the hosting plan is not sufficient for the ever increasing traffic that MBM receives.

thank you for the response, i had good time with family during the holidays glad to hear you as well. Please let us know what is causing the errors if it is on my end alone or if it is a whloe system thing. Oh and congrats on the new job  Smiley

Ok, will do that. Another question, what does it say on the card, I assume holders name is there, what about some CC company, VISA, Mastercard? Or just XAPO?
It looks like this:

omg dear god thank you so much for posting that card. I like how it looks and i am sure my wife will love the little rose design in the middle. Does anyone know if this card come in other colors like pink?

Bit-x.com just announced their BTC debit card, if anyone is interested. Got the following text message from them:

Quote
Bit-x is introducing a new Bitcoin Master Card. A 0.05BTC setup fee is waived for all clients who complete basic verification prior to April 1, 2015.

dam it i did not see this till just right now, and of course i am now one week late so i guess i will have to pay if i want to get this card. Does anyone know if they extended the deadline or is it better to just wait for new offers?

I keep getting an error when I try to collect from faucets that send my satoshis to Xapo "Xapo error: Failure Unable to process your request".

Any idea what is wrong?  I would get that error message like 70% of the time.

Faucets I used:
http://bitcoinker.com/
http://faucet.bitcoinzebra.com/
http://moonbit.co.in/

mmmm weird i have never got a error from them especially the zebra faucet thats the one i use daily when i am at work. Do you have it sent to a bitcoin address or is it goingto a email linked to Xapo. I personally created a new email just to have linked to Xapo and zebra faucet working just fine
536  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: Official Xapo Service Discussion on: April 08, 2015, 04:18:35 PM
Is there someone living on the other side of support@xapo.com?? I sent two emails since last Thursday and still got NO reply. This is unacceptable.
And I think xapo more advanced because many faucet in cooperation with xapo for payment. Supposedly they had lbh many staff who are always ready to serve. Or only 1 admin only To Work. Unreasonable, it needs to be fixed. If it took my staff willing Cheesy

i have noticed that there are several different fauccets out there that support Xapo payments like you mentioned. I like using the Zebra one while i am at work i just click it lol. I just had bitcoin taken out was $6.75 worth of bitcoin, not much but hey was free while i was working lol

XAPO - "Wallet currently unavailable for transactions."

Problems with the wallets tonight?  This has been ongoing for a few hours now.

Same here and i believe XAPO is going to fix it
Just be patient

10+ hours now

it is best to spread out your coins just incase things like this happened, and also it will be a better options to use bitcoin qt, safer for your coins and also you dont need to wait to confirm for your withdrawal

ok i agree with this 100 percent the only proble is can only keep bitcoin is so many places that are trusted for easy access. that is my biggest concern to be honest the ease of getting money
539  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: Is Xapo a scam?? on: April 07, 2015, 02:18:36 AM
WOW really went dead in this forum lol i guess people dont want to share ongoing experience or noone to try it anymore  Cry
