521  Economy / Gambling / Re: Rollbit.com | Crypto's Most Rewarding Casino 👑 on: November 20, 2023, 05:07:36 AM
It's understandable why investors are skeptical when it comes to gambling tokens. Often, the price is good at first but later on lose its value due to the fading popularity of the casino itself, less people using the platform resulting to lack of investors for the token. That's why if some people are hesitant to invest, it's also because of their past experiences.

Anyway, The price of RLB had a significant growth from the past months even we're not yet in bull season. The improved utility of RLB on Rollbit makes it more attractive for the investors. So if you consider it as a potential coin to invest in, buy while the current price decreased a bit.
The RLB token has many use cases and utility and it is used not only for gambling. Many projects launch their tokens without good foundations behind but it is not what we have with the RLB token.

The Rollbit team have many plans for the token and they strongly support the token. They are building up an ecosystem around RLB token to make up its value. We see at your Rollbit account dashboard or at Rollbit Tracker account on X (Twitter), they are very actively with buy back and burn and fund for it comes from the casino profit. It is a huge input for the token value creation that you barely see with other altcoin projects.

Last 24 hours, $270,925 is the fund used to buy back and burn 1,486,133 RLB tokens. Seriously right?

522  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is Bitcoin Bear Market over? on: November 20, 2023, 04:58:49 AM
Hi guys I was wondering that Bitcoin crossed 37000 dollars is there any chances that Bitcoin bear market over and we might see good greeny day.
What are your thoughts 🤔💭
In bull market, you can not see price rises day by day, forever. There are green and red days even you are in a big bull run. If you were in this market when Bitcoin was $69,000 and hoped to get cheaper prices to buy it. Yes, you fortunately got many chances with many cheaper prices that are even under $16,000 and if till now you are still hesitating to buy Bitcoin, I am sure, you will regret and have a same hope when Bitcoin crosses $69,000 or hit $100,000.

Bear market is a great chance to buy Bitcoin because if history repeats itself, Bitcoin will make a new all time high in a next halving and a consequent new bull run.
523  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2023/2024 on: November 19, 2023, 02:14:16 AM
Another sad thing for Manchester United is about their goalkeeper and it seems the nightmare for Ten Haf is not going to end because this goalkeeper is injured.
In the game between Cameroon and Mauritius, Onana got injured and this is bad news for a team like Manchester United because they had enough problems and now they have an injured goalkeeper which can definitely damage the team.

https://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-12765775/Man-United-injury-Andre-Onana-Everton-Cameroon.html
The injury will be helpful for Onana to have a rest and time to find a psychology balance that is very necessary for him and his career in Manchester United. He has been playing under a lot of pressure and eyes that seem to take him down whenever he makes mistakes and give them chances to attack. Without an injury, it's hard for Onana to have a necessary break time as Ten Hag still considers Onana as a best goalkeeper in Manchester United.

There is rumor that Manchester United and Ten Hag want to bring David De Gea back in the winter transfer season at least with a short term contract. The injury of Onana when it's about one month till the open time of transfer market will give them more reasons to think about this idea more carefully and seriously.

Is not the end of the world for Manchester United and don't say it like Onana is the only goalkeeper they have in that team. I believe with him being out of action it would give him (Onana) time to rest and it will reduce the amount of pressure on him. The second choice could cover for Onana and even do better, these days goalkeepers are the ones who look for opportunity to showcase themselves just to be in the first team.
Playing under huge pressure and after having bad start is not easy for all player. Pressure is very harmful for player performance and if they fail to be strong against pressure, their performances will be affected negatively. We saw it with Morata, Lukaku in Chelsea as without confidence, a player will play worse than what he can do with his best. Therefore, a few weeks to sit back and take a break, avoid more pressure whilst have time to analyze past mistakes will help Onana to improve a lot when he returns.

Quote
Well as for the coach Ten Hag, he's the only one who knows how to make his team get a win in their next game against Everton, with Onana out of action, the absence of the Cameroon goalkeeper won't tell if they win or not, is just left for the coach and the team to make it happen.
Everton just got a shock with 10 points deduction because of their financial issues. They are in a most vulnerable time that gives Manchester United a very good opportunity to beat Everton in the next match. It's hard to explain if Manchester United can not complete this task with three points.
524  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin vs Altcoins on: November 19, 2023, 02:02:28 AM
The cryptocurrency landscape is gradually taking a new turn and am loving it already. It's like the era of BTC dominance and dictation of other altcoins performance is gradually winding down.
Altcoins have their altcoin season but they can not survive in this market with one or two altcoin seasons. Since 2020, how many altcoin seasons we had but most of altcoins lost like 90% to 99% of their all time high prices. If you hold altcoins last few years, you are still in painful loss even altcoins are moving with a new altcoin season.

Where did you yet your data from? The last time I checked, Bitcoin dominance was even increasing, crossing 50%.
It increased a lot in bear market because as said altcoins lost 90% to 99% of their marketcap but Bitcoin only lose like half of its marketcap since its all time high in 2021.

Dominance is not too accurate because more altcoins will be created with time and those new altcoins will contribute to altcoin marketcap whist we always have only one Bitcoin.

The rate of new altcoins created by developers probably outpace the rate of altcoins die within a same time.

525  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: November 19, 2023, 12:23:41 AM
How can we ignore Juventus in Serie A while their performance continues to improve and be consistent, they almost have the same record as Inter Milan and continue to maintain the difference in points. I also see that Juventus has an advantage because it doesn't have a busy schedule like Inter Milan this means that Juventus can focus more on pursuing the title this season and the risk of injury is certainly lower, Allegri just needs to implement the right strategy in player rotation and it shouldn't be difficult.
Juventus started this season with lot of ambition to win Serie A because they have nothing other to compete for. Only Serie A is a big competition they play in this season, no Champions League, no Europa League, no Conference League. With players they have and with less competitions than other big clubs in Serie A, Juventus had a big advantage at the season beginning.

Their performances recently and how they stay at the second position are all expected at beginning. I am not shocked with their performances and surely can not ignore their chance to win Scudetto in this season.

Rudi Garcia failed to keep the good performance of Napoli. It makes sense if Napoli management decided to sack him. Napoli doesn't want to take bigger risks by keeping Garcia, they don't want Napoli position be worse. However, it won't be easy to find a proper coach, they hire Mazzari because there is no many options for the next coach.
I see it is unfair to blame bad result on Rudi Garcia. He is responsible for the team performance but he is not the only person is responsible for bad results. I doubt that any other coach or even Spaletti can maintain good results for Napoli. They are not familiar at top levels and the last season is like an outstanding season for them. With clubs like Napoli, such outstanding seasons won't appear too often and they must accept this truth.

I hope you know there is a difference between trading merit and giving out merit freely to post’s that is worth it. Trading of merit is disallowed, lots of people’s accounts have been tagged on the forum here just because they were caught sending merits to their alt accounts, which is very wrong. The merits system wasn’t created because they wanted us to be trading our smerit.
It is not disallowed by the forum. Users can do it and theymos said he knows there is dark market and if there is a dark market for merit exchange, he feels fine about it.

Only forum community are against it, discourage it because it will create unfair forum where shit posters can rank up by buying or exchanging merit.
The current status quo seems OK. If you have to pay $20 per merit plus a risk of getting red trust, then that's a situation that doesn't concern me at all. I'm not going to lose sleep over people going to ridiculous lengths to buy merit, since only a small number of people will be willing and able to do that.

As long as merit sales are a black market, I'm happy, since that makes it far more difficult and expensive to buy merit. If that's the case, then the small volume of black-market merit trades don't themselves bother me much, and I think that it does more harm than good to get too witch-hunty about it.

Quote
If you see any post that you believe is useful to you or the forum and you think it’s worth meriting, then you can merit it.
It is true according to Merit & new rank requirements

I'm hoping that this system will increase post quality by:
 - Forcing people to post high-quality stuff in order to rank up. If you just post garbage, you will never get even 1 merit point, and you will therefore never be able to put links in your signature, etc.
 - Highlighting good posts with the "Merited by" line.

While we will not be directly moderating this, I encourage people to give merit to posts that are objectively high-quality, not just posts that you agree with.

Do not beg for merit excessively.

Not that fast for sure it has been happening for some time now and it has hardly had an impact, while the pandemic was leading to gross downtrends in all markets, I made very cheap stock buys during that time which have rebounded back to massive profits today. That was a time for bitcoin to crash as well, but as far as I recall, it did not get affected much. Rather negative news of exchanges and hacks impacted it more deeply.
Short term, everything can happen and if other markets crashed with a pandemic announcement of WHO, Bitcoin market did have a crash is normal with me. I would feel more happy if Bitcoin market can be totally different than other markets but if it can not do it, like it actually reacted with the pandemic announcement, I see it's just fine.

The bottom line is after that shock and crash, Bitcoin market is a strongest since 2020 if I am not missing better performances from other markets. Are there other markets better than Bitcoin market since 2020?

Crypto is a stock market
Crypto is not stock and it is not a market.
Cryptocurrency market is not a stock market. They are different markets with different active laws and regulations.

Quote
and also it can be affected by some wars and pandemic like situations.
Many things on Earth have been affected by the pandemic Covid-19, from traditional markets like stock to emerging markets like cryptocurrency market.

Quote
So I will say that Currently going wars with Gaza ( PALAESTINE) and Israel War. In long term situation and as there are high chances of spreading of war to whole middle eat. Will bitcoin market go on crash mood because last time was coronavirus.

What are your thoughts?
I think that could be the reason of crash.
Wars are always bad for human and economics as well as politics. They always have very long lasting effects on related nations, locations and local people. If a war  is big like an area war, a geopolitical war, its effects will be very big, not only restricted locally but expanded to globally.

Bitcoin has a sharp rally from its bottom and I expect to see its correction anytime with any reason. The war between Israel and Hamas will cause more issues in the Middle East and global so if Bitcoin market makers use it as reason to dump the market, I will not surprise.

Rather than revoke smart contract approval and access to their wallets, they will lose tokens to those phishing sites.

There are three solid websites to revoke smart contract approval
https://app.unrekt.net/
https://revoke.cash/
https://etherscan.io/tokenapprovalchecker

The fake accounts on X (Twitter) can be easily detected with audit score for followers.

I am really sure those fake accounts will have account creation date not too old and followers are mostly fake.
533  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What's your take on CEX platforms integrating DEX capabilities like swapping? on: November 16, 2023, 02:28:09 AM
But in fact, now many popular Exchange platforms such as Binance combine CEX and DEX and are now also available with Web3 which makes it easier for users to connect to Binance using the address created on Binance's Dex.
They are capable to build those products, DEX and Web3 wallets, why they refuse to do it if it brings income to their business?

It is what Binance and other centralized exchanges have been doing, building fake DEX and also web3 wallets, as one of ways to increase their business income and at the same time help them to lose customers to actual decentralized exchanges.

Quote
It all depends on whether people want to use it or not.
Problems with security or vulnerability to hacking, it's a choice of whether to use it or not.

Now new investors are no longer critical of CEX or DEX issues, they can only use what has been created and provided, especially with quite complete features.
But all do need to be aware and your key is not your asset. DWYOR.
They can use actual decentralized exchanges, with no KYC policy

With Web3 wallets, they must be careful with token approval access to their wallets. There are three tools to revoke smart contract access.

534  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: First buy Bitcoin as a newbie, good way to start. on: November 16, 2023, 02:23:37 AM
No, I don't think that it's going to be helpful for newbies to purchase Bitcoin without properly learning about it and it's wallets. Most of the newbies purchase Bitcoin directly from exchanges and they don't really know much about custodial wallets and save their Bitcoin on those exchanges wallets.
It's unsafe to store bitcoins on exchanges but if they are newbies, pick good centralized exchanges, they can leave their bitcoins on the exchanges. It is temporary storage place for them only, meanwhile they have to learn about non custodial wallets that are better if open source. After they complete their learning about wallets, have some practice of wallet creation, wallet recovery from backups, they have to move their bitcoin from exchange accounts to their own wallets.

Reminder: do not keep your money in online accounts

Together with an example to transaction size calculation, I would like to give newbies two websites for Transaction Size Calculator.

They can easily choose number of inputs, outputs, and transaction type to have a transaction size.
536  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin and it's 4 Year-Cycle on: November 15, 2023, 01:33:47 AM
Every investment's a risk that's what ppl have to remember before they buy because of FOMO.
They must be in the market a long time to understand its mechanism, cycles and it will be their own experience that is different than what they can learn from textbook or psychological chart of market cycles.

The psychology of market cycles is most important and it is true not only in cryptocurrency market but for all market types. Because basically people don't change themselves and human instinct is generally the same if you count how the majority of market participants behave in one market.

Market makers therefore, take advantage of it to manipulate the crowd with their fake technical indicator movements and direct market to a direction they want. When a market participant understands psychological cycle, it's better to have good control against FOMO and panic, then more easily gain success in either investment or trading. Trading is more risky than investment and it's harder to gain profit in a long run as well.
537  Economy / Gambling / Re: Duelbits.com | Casino & Sportsbook | VIP | Instant withdrawals!|ARGENTINA & AVFC on: November 14, 2023, 02:45:08 AM
We have already seen more than enough cases lodged for account blockage because users were really pissed when they were asked for KYC. Actually users are at fault many times because they can not hide or control their urge to play on a casino which is either banned from their region or user is from the region where Gambling isn’t allowed. Otherwise without any further doubt casino would never ask for KYC unless there is breach of some transaction limits or they suspect some doubtful activity.

Everything starts from the question that was originally asked here by the initiator. The VPN, it’s a gateway but there is no guarantee you would end up in successful path till it get blocked or identified by the casino. In fact it should be avoided for any financial Website just to be extra safe.
If they have things to hide, they can not use VPNs to hide it forever and if it is against Terms of Service, it is a bad practice. If it is allowed by Terms of Service, but if users abuse it to exploit the platform, the company will have more tools to detect suspicious activities from users logins, betting style, patterns and they will surely detect shady suspicious activities from their users.

At the end, not a happy ending for abusers on a casino. I am tired to see some accusations from newbie accounts and honestly when I was not experienced enough, when I read those accusations, I believed in their stories but after all, with casino investigation and final answers, those cases are invalid and only full of lies from abusers.

Back to betting and winning, there is a big win with a Big Bass Bonanza.

Something huge will be happening in the next 2 years and that news will make it Bitcoin cross $100k per Bitcoin. I suspect it will have something to do with Apple or Google. Smiley
What did you think about big news for Bitcoin from Google or Apple next two years?

Is it something similar to Tesla accepted Bitcoin with Elon Musk's attempt to pump Bitcoin 2 years ago?

Care to share information or some rumor that Bitcoin will cross $100k  because of Apple or google in the next 2 years?
Maybe Google and Apple will announce "Since today, we will accept Bitcoin as one of payment method for all products we have". It's my speculative narrative thinking today but I will not feel surprised if more companies including Google or Apple accept Bitcoin in future. They will not be able to stay away from the global trend.

If there is a catalyst, surely it will be the halving and the ETF approval that will make Bitcoin price surge to the point of creating a new ATH.
Bitcoin Spot ETF approval probability has been used as a biggest catalyst to hype the Bitcoin community latest months. In 2024, we might have or might not have any Bitcoin Spot ETF but I strongly believe we will certainly have a Bitcoin bull run. Bitcoin Spot ETF approval or no approval at all, is not the only or a main force for Bitcoin bull run. Halving and Bitcoin adoption in many areas (not only Bitcoin Spot EFT) are more important.
539  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Risk Reward Ratio Tool on: November 14, 2023, 01:21:02 AM
But you can use any ratio you may like, however a higher risk-reward ratio will mean more losing trades and keeping your position open for a longer period of time, and it could be difficult for most traders to deal with the added pressure such a move will entail.
Accept bigger risk means you are more like a gamblers, degen, not like a trader who have careful calculation for your trade and never open a trading position if you see risk is too high and chance to get profit is too low.

Saint-loup already pointed out, risk-reward calc don't work the way you think it does. And if the ratio of 1"3 or whichever you think is accurate, then mathematically you should always be making money as a trader.

Risk-Reward calcs are used by sportsbooks a lot but they actually make money because they track live probability a lot as well, very well. Which I believe trading calcs don't do well.
Nothing always works like you imagine it will work for you and your trading position but the RRR like 1:3 will help you to accept lower risk and at the same time a chance to get good profit. If you see a RRR is like 1:1 or or less than 1:2 or 1:3, it is like not good choice to take risk.

Trading is accept risk. Investing is accept risk but what level of risk you can accept is a matter.
540  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: how/why is this tx stuck??? on: November 13, 2023, 01:45:02 AM
thanks a lot guys.. does anyone have an estimate of how long it will take? its really urgent
It was confirmed already.

In future, you can look at mempools before broadcasting your transaction. You can use Replace by Fee when you want to bump the fee.

You can submit your transaction to viabtc transaction accelerator like phillipma wrote. That transaction accelerator accepts transactions with fee rate from 10 sat/vbyte and higher. Your transaction has a good fee rate to use that free tool. They are one of biggest mining pools and they will add your transaction to a block found by their mining pool.
