521  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The legends of bitcointalk should make our own altcoin together, thoughts? on: July 28, 2015, 12:16:43 AM
Why is it that Vegans care so much about saving animals from being eaten but hate people so much?

@Crestington

The correct question is....

If Vegans love animals so much then why do they eat all of their food?

Back on topic

So what's the progress on this legends coin?

I am seeing this theymos as the high lord of bitcoin discussions round here. Many say that theymos has this or that opinion.

What is theymos's opinion on altcoins?

Is there a successor to theymos?, should heaven forbid, something happen to him.

Are there other royal bitcoin families seeking to take the iron throne of btt and reddit bitcoin?

And what is your opinion of how theymos treats his subjects?

Everything you need to know, right here.

like crypto blow-jobs now, pretty much the same every time, but who's ever gonna knock one back hey!

Just when you think you've heard it all.

That is the best nugget from a Monero thread I've seen in along time.

I'm in the process of writing a research paper for my night school in regard to cryptocurrencies, their capacity to be an alternative to the fiat banking paradigm and the various pros and cons of anonymity and fungibility.

Creative Writing and Fiction were also one of my favorite classes in school.

Good luck!

~BCX~

Added: The fact that this is a blatant Monero spam thread wasn't missed. One of the better ones I might add.

Nothing wrong with a good infomercial. Just imagine what Tony Robins could do with XMR between 11pm and 1am on the TV.

Seriously, what newbie user of crypto is going to wade through hundreds of pages of old threads trying to find the good oil on all the alt coins available now? None, it's just too hard now so they all start from the latest posts and start trying to piece stuff together. There's just too many coins now to track, so these 'infomercial' threads are actually very useful.

Keep up the good work monerians Smiley

Just one problem.

Mprep tends to trashcan Infomercial threads.

I think all accounts should be sold.

Imagine how guarded people would be if all accounts cost 1 BTC?

Well it's been a couple of months.

Things are slow on the Monero development front, but the price has remained stable.

I'm still plugging along, buying what Monero I can with my extra income and encouraging crypto-enthusaists to do the same.  In an image that will surely be historic one day, we sit in 6th place behind a few unworthy opponents with some shining exceptions:

Bragging about being in sixth place crypto marketwise is equivalent to bragging about your site ranking top of page 8 in the Google index.

So Stunna how about answering the question I asked. Yoou stated that you felt it didn't effect EAL's ability to moderate here.

~BCX~

You quoted my answer to that question in your post, I'm not going to continue responding here. As mentioned in my previous post, I've posted all relevant information and the mods/staff can make their decision. My objective was simply to start a discussion not a flamewar.

Previous thread for reference: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1131063.0

Flamewar?

I'm just curious and no you haven't answered the question I asked.

What was the purpose of the thread to get EAL demoted if you felt his atrocities wouldn't effect his abilities to moderate here?

...(previous sniviling) ......This doesn't effect his ability to moderate this forum but I will never do business with him again. I'll lock this in a few days, I'm not upset about the minimal amount of money but rather the persistent dishonesty from him.

Then why create a thread called "EAL should be considered for demotion" if you felt it didn't effect his ability to moderate?

You really don't feel that way.

What happened is you seen none of the powers that be gave a flying shit about your claims.

You're trying to keep from looking like you got it shoved right back in your face.

So why don't you own up to your "trivial matter" here.

You PWND yourself on EAL's behalf.

~BCX~

In general it wouldn't effect his ability to moderate, but if someone were to offer EAL 0.1BTC to lock/move a thread they didn't like would you trust that EAL would decline? What you're missing is the fact that EAL was a staff member I trusted on this forum and he abused my trust on two occasions and will continue to retain a staff position.

At the end of the day this comes down to whether or not you think trustworthiness is an important factor for forum staff, it's clear to me that he abused the forum giveaway and then told a very weak lie to cover it up.

I've left him neutral feedback noting the situation and will lock this thread as this honestly isn't worth further argument. I'm not trying to ruin his livelihood (staff get paid AFAIK), all I wanted was an apology rather than a lie.

Thread locked after Stunna's last post

I created this thread because Stunna made a play to have a mod demoted and it didn't go as he planned so he got butt hurt. In his last post before locking the thread he made an accusation that deserves a response.

He made a baseless and accusation that EAL could be bribed for favors here on BCT.

All this boils down to, is Stunna is butt hurt because Badbear basically blew him off.

Shockingly IP evidence from Primedice doesn't carry any weight here on Bitcointalk.

So Stunna how about answering the question I asked. Yoou stated that you felt it didn't effect EAL's ability to moderate here.

Then why create a thread called "EAL should be considered for demotion"

You must not be familiar with BCX's humor. He has made quite a few photoshopped tweets of Paul

I find them rather amusing usually Smiley

I'm not real sure what you're talking about.

I just post them as I see them.

I will wait.. but BadBear said "ask again later", when should I ask? What is the right time?

If I were you, I would not post again with any name including the name you are using now for AT LEAST 60 days.

I wouldn't even reply to this comment.

Like is said in another thread, this new crop of idiots makes the 2011 crew look like Mensa candidates.

@Quickseller

I know you've said you've quit selling accounts but I was just curious if you had any Admin accounts for sale.

I'm not looking to do anything nefarious. I just want use it to un-ban myself when I sig spam the forum.

538  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: When will Auroracoin replace Monero? on: July 24, 2015, 05:20:48 AM
Serious question

Good question. Just now 1 Monero = 18 Auroras. It may seem impossible but who knows.

I was just recently on Skype with Realsolid.

He said in a few weeks when brings mcxNOW v2.5 online that Auroracoin will be the coin he buys back the mcxNOW Fee Shares with.

Should be interesting.

Maybe I should start taking an interest in a few coins again to shake things up.

Haven't mined in a couple of years.

Might be fun.
