My address and a friends have both been cleared out. The transfers happened on the 22nd. Explain this seals. Why are you stalling? Buying time to launder our funds?

If you can move our funds to your mega accounts the day after the attack why can't you process withdrawals so we can get off your god awful crappy site.

Posts like this from idiot trolls with 0 post history come across to me like they're actually coming from whoever is DDoSing the site.

I hope this is as transparent to anyone reading my post as it is to me.

Do not fall for propaganda from terrorist criminals.

I believe he has 4 to 500 chips .  I feel for him but like you said don't keep more on the site then you can afford to lose obv. If 500 chips is that life altering probably shouldn't be playing at all imo.

My advice, which is no use right now of course, but will be when this happens again, and it will.  As the leading Bitcoin poker site, Seals is always going to be a lightning rod for attacks by shitheads.

Only keep on the site what you need for the levels you play.  Cashing in is real quick, and you only have to wait for two confirms.  So if you see a tournament you want to join in an hour, you can just cash in with the buyin and be pretty sure it'll be there when you need it.

Keeping your entire roll on the site is like keeping it on an online wallet.  Frankly, it's actually safer than most online wallets, which have repeatedly been shown to keep all their coin online in a hot wallet.  Seals has its house funds mostly in cold storage offline, much safer.  I'm not sure how much is in their hot wallet, and they probably shouldn't be very open about that, but funds are safer on Seals than on blockchain.  IMO.

But there's always the possibility you won't be able to access it for possibly lengthy periods of time.

So you should always have the bulk of your roll offline, in a wallet entirely under your own control.

I personally only keep online something like three times the max buyin I'll play.  The rest is offline.  (That's currently just .15BTC, what I have on Seals right now, 100 chips on Seals itself and 50 on the bet bot.)

Do this and you'll never be panicking at some bullshit outage.  (As for clients, I recommend Multibit but YMMV.  I can't see the point in most users having the reference client and a complete copy of the now absurdly-bloated blockchain.)

Last response before you go on ignore, you retarded newbie piece of shit.  First, improve the world a bit.  Get cancer and die.

Second, they could be down two weeks and only process cashouts then, and they'd still be faster at cashing out than half the fucking poker sites out there, which send you a goddamn check in a month if you're lucky, which bounces half the time and then you have to harass them for another.

Finally, I have yet to lose any money from a poker site, even the shady ones.  Sorry that's been your experience, but you're obviously a fucking loser at poker and at life, so that's been your run of luck.  Life must suck when you're an abject gibbering mongoloid piece of genetic garbage, as you obviously are.

Seals has had hurdles like this before, and has always, every single fucking time, more than made it up to the players when they came back up.  So seriously, go eat shit.  Seals has an excellent track record, and all you have are track marks, you degenerate.

Continue having a shit life.

Nobody legit, and in their right mind would trust these scumbags after this.

After being DDoSed?  Like practically every other Bitcoin site at some point?  Are you fucking retarded?  How does being the victim of a DDoS say anything at all about their trustworthiness?

As for other criticisms, such as the shitware they're running, those points are valid.  But there's no level of "security" that is going to get around a high volume DDoS, and if you think otherwise, you're a fucking idiot.  Bank service sites have been taken down by DDoS for days at a time.  Do you think they're not paying top dollar for the best security they can get?
525  Economy / Gambling / Re: SealsWithClubs.eu | Largest Bitcoin Poker Site | No Banking | Fast Cashouts on: January 24, 2014, 10:42:49 AM
Dear bitches:  STFU!

I've done my own fair share of complaining, but do you have to spam the forum 24/7 with nonstop goddamn whining?

At least I can fit my gripes into one or two bullet points and then shut up.  I.e.

  • ClownFlare.  Really?
  • It'd be nice if you guys came up with a way to process BTC with the site offline and then batch the transactions when it came back up.

I'll also note that much bigger sites have been down much longer under DDoS.  League of Legends was rendered basically unplayable for weeks as a result of one of these a couple years ago.  And of course, Anonymous has taken down some of the larger websites out there, including national government websites all over the world.  If it were possibly simply to snap your fingers and magically end a DDoS, don't you think a government would be able to do it?

The major problem in DDoS mitigation isn't any one technical issue.  It's that the bad guys always get the first move.  If that doesn't work, then they get the second, third, fourth move until they come up with something that takes your site down.  So you're always in reaction mode.
526  Economy / Gambling / Re: SealsWithClubs.eu | Largest Bitcoin Poker Site | No Banking | Fast Cashouts on: January 23, 2014, 07:26:27 PM
Another kindly suggestion.

While people are worrying about their money on the site, maybe it isn't a great idea to put up a video of Micon looking like he just woke up from a crack binge, in a bathrobe, in a room that looks like a set from Hoarders, waving around a gun and using a joke Pringles cantenna.

Maybe I'm out of line here.

But it's just not inspiring confidence much.

I am quoting this shit post to encourage people to AVOID THIS SITE AT ALL COSTS.

This asshole also just spammed this exact same message to the grindabit chat.  In other words, a DDoS against Seals is immediately accompanied by spam from some piece of shit from a competing site.

I doubt this retard could put up a DDoS himself, because he is obviously stupid as hell, but otherwise, is a prime suspect for being the DDoSer just from the cui bono principle.

Why would this clown be spamming Seals threads during a DDoS against Seals?

Not sure.  But it certainly isn't indicative of a site anyone should play on.

FUCK YOU PM POKER.  You will not gain a single customer from these shit tactics, and I hope you find a fire and then die in it, you piece of shit.

A million for defense and not a dime for tribute.

Still, why the fuck are you still using ClownFlare?

Are you just going to ignore that question?
529  Economy / Gambling / Re: SealsWithClubs.eu | Largest Bitcoin Poker Site | No Banking | Fast Cashouts on: January 23, 2014, 01:58:04 PM
He can run things how ever the fuck he wants, its his business if you don't like it suck a dick.

No, dumbfuck.  More like if I don't like it, I take my money elsewhere.  Enjoy your mother's basement, you stupid cocksucker.

You guys are all haters, his videos are great and very "real". They are just casual

Fucking filthy casuals.  What we need are professionals.
531  Economy / Gambling / Re: SealsWithClubs.eu | Largest Bitcoin Poker Site | No Banking | Fast Cashouts on: January 23, 2014, 01:49:21 PM

Step your game up, bitch!

CloudFlare is like level 1 DDoS protection, I very much doubt they are only using them.

But shame on SWC if they are just using CloudFlare for DDoS.

Present any evidence at all that they aren't just using ClownFlare for DDoS.  Because the only evidence available suggests exactly that.
532  Economy / Gambling / Re: SealsWithClubs.eu | Largest Bitcoin Poker Site | No Banking | Fast Cashouts on: January 23, 2014, 01:38:59 PM
The last update with any substantive content was well over twelve hours ago.

Since then, we've had a video of Micon in a room that looks like a reject from a Hoarders episode where he made some weird joke about a cantenna, and then nothing.  Seriously, Micon, you're raising a child in that environment?

And all we get to look at is some shit-for-brains ClownFlare screen.  Fuck you and your 522 error.

Step your game up, bitch!
533  Economy / Gambling / Re: SealsWithClubs.eu | Largest Bitcoin Poker Site | No Banking | Fast Cashouts on: January 23, 2014, 11:37:40 AM
WTF is with ClownFlare anyway.  It is the McDonald's of DDoS mitigation.  You need people in-house that handle this shit, because these morons are useless.  I think their mitigation strategies basically amount to smoking dope and jerking off until the DDoS guy gets bored, then presenting you with a bill and claiming they solved it.

Why are you still using these retards?

Also, who exactly is Seal Team 6 at this point?  Why are they using the shittiest, most incompetent DDoS mitigation in the universe?  It's pretty obvious ClownFlare isn't doing its job.  I sure don't see a "Seal Team 6" logo when I try to access SwC, I see this shit:

And in case you think I'm just senselessly bitching from the trollish, bitchy tone of this post, I cite Professor Wikipedia.

Product Reviews

On February 13, 2013, a comparative penetration testing analysis report was published by Zero Science Lab, showing that ModSecurity is more effective than CloudFlare and Incapsula. In fact, out of the three, CloudFlare was the least effective.[16]

As Wiki cites go, that's pretty lame.  But ClownFlare is notoriously incompetent.  Why the FUCK would anyone use these idiots for anything with money involved, especially other people's money?  I suppose it's good enough if your problem is some edgy 12 year old is attacking your Garry's Mod server or some shit, but for anything real?

Hell, I don't know why I bother.  I'm griping about a site that uses some $100 shitware poker server from Briggs that was basically designed for play money poker.  Why should I expect better?

Do you even lift?
534  Economy / Gambling / Re: SealsWithClubs.eu | Largest Bitcoin Poker Site | No Banking | Fast Cashouts on: January 23, 2014, 12:19:17 AM
all the Seals players are hanging out in the Grindabit chat box if you wanna chat with us

It's almost like home!  Shit talking, threats, nobody actually playing poker.
535  Economy / Gambling / Re: SealsWithClubs.eu | Largest Bitcoin Poker Site | No Banking | Fast Cashouts on: January 22, 2014, 10:44:50 PM
As much as I bitch and complain about the site here, they've never failed to make things right after an outage.  It's hardly the first time this has happened.  As for why the other Bitcoin poker sites don't have this happen, most of them have maybe 5 people on them at any given time.
536  Economy / Gambling / Re: SealsWithClubs.eu | Largest Bitcoin Poker Site | No Banking | Fast Cashouts on: January 15, 2014, 06:47:37 AM
The reason for me not to play is the constant disconnects.  Whenever I mention it I get no response from Seals whether by email or my posts here such as the one 2 days ago.

I'd love to see some interest in fixing this shit, but it's well over a year with no interest whatsoever.  It's just one of those things to be ignored.  I guess they won't miss me.

Not to be too repetitive, because this was suggested earlier in the thread, but this would be a good sticky.
538  Economy / Lending / Re: Islamic Bank of Bitcoin - LOANS on: January 06, 2014, 07:06:26 AM
For this reason I do not use cannabis nor do I condone its use, but the danger of committing shirk by declaring haram what Allah could easily have made clearly haram had He wished, is greater than the danger of some people using cannabis, which has proven to be far less harmful than alcohol.

Thank you for that opinion, because I'd wondered about it.
539  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Bryan Micon's Butterfly Labs Scammer Investigation including Josh Zerlan on: January 06, 2014, 12:42:46 AM
You really do spout crap... I'm starting to think you have sociopathic tendencies.

Mere "tendencies?"  I love the understatement that predominates on these lovely boards.
540  Economy / Lending / Re: Islamic Bank of Bitcoin - LOANS on: January 05, 2014, 09:49:10 PM
Sorry, this is out of our range for now.
Ibrahim why don't you tell its out of our law.

Not sure what his opinion is, but he didn't actually say that.  He said 1000 BTC (which is roughly a million dollars) was out of his range.

I'm not actually sure whether marijuana is haram.  I think it would actually depend on circumstances.
