It takes a special kinda retard to think bitcoin is a good store of value. The writing is on the wall, bitcoin isnt a good currency and it never will be. This is how to fix it. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XyWfUqEyIZc Mostly it needs a definition 1 bitcoin = something and it needs an elastic supply. Bitcoin = Shitcoin. It cant free markets, it cant free trade, it cant avoid taxation, it cant avoid capital gains, it is no longer capable of micro transactions, the institutions that have built up around it cant be trusted, the protocol cant be trusted, the miners cant be trusted, the valuation cant be trusted, you cant trade large amounts p2p, it cant replace government issued fiat, it cant cut sending cost (I can send for free with paypal), it isnt any good for cutting remittance cost. It is real simple, the scarcity model sucks because it is controllable. Defining the unit of the measure of value in terms of a very finite item is like defining the unit of the measure of length in terms of an inch worm.

BS, go do more research again.
Same to you. I'm not really bothered, I have nothing in Gox, forgot how emotional everyone is around here. No facts just FUD and who can shout loudest. DON'T YOU GET IT ?? IT'S CRASHING !! BITCOIN IS THE FIRST VIRTUAL CURRENCY AND WILL FAIL !! DO YOU HEAR ME FAIL !! Are you being serious?

LOL! You were saying the same thing to me during the Silk Road crash. Bitcoin was trading at $85 then... Don't worry, if you keep at it, given enough time, you will eventually be right. Regarding the topic: Gox is ran by incompetent idiots. It took them this long to acknowledge a problem? When SR closed it virtually eliminated any liquidity in the market place. That drove the price up into a bubble. Hold if you like. I got out a long time ago as you know, because I dont believe in the concept. This is the coin I support, true honest money with the ability to change the world, unlike bitcoin. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XyWfUqEyIZc. The huge price rise shows bitcoin to be a failure not a success. I was only ever involved for social change not personal gain.

Less than one million wallets (so less than one million users), and people think the price can't double again, let alone $10,000. Please... It's so far from being even close to widely adopted that really no one has any clue really what the price will do in the future. Only thing for certain is there is plenty of room for price growth, if bitcoin continues to be adopted and used as digital money.
It won't IMHO. I have been a naysayer for a long time though. When I got out I told my friends and family that it would blow into a huge bubble and then crash waaayyy down. Not to nothing but to something believable, like beanie babies and tulip bulbs. My brother in law basically says that it hasn't been blown as big as it is gonna get and that financial institutions are going to get in and give it a good pump, its possible but I dont see it happening.
