521  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The Future of Gambling on: February 29, 2024, 01:19:09 PM

I am excited to see the comments. Please comment on where you think the future of gambling will be. What kinds of benefits will the gambling experience of the future bring in all walks of gambling? Will it be a good thing or a bad thing? What do you think makes the gambling experience the best in your opinion? Pick and choose any / all questions to be answered- I can't wait to see what everyone says.

Whatever the future of gambling is, it will still rely on the gambling operator continuously making profits, and gamblers taking a chance to make a profit and innovation that both parties will enjoy for the operators to entice people to try their platform, and for the gamblers to enjoying playing while at the same time trying to make a profit.
I still see the gambling industry utilizing the use of Cryptocurrency, because it's fast and anonymous and both the gambling operators and the players will agree for their best interests.
Of course, there will be huge competition in gambling platforms, and whoever can launch a massive marketing campaign will rule the industry, I still see Stake.com as the number one casino industry, they can sponsor big events, and they have massive campaigns.
The future is bright for the gambling industry and Cryptocurrency added to that success.
522  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling still pays regardless of our losses on: February 29, 2024, 11:32:50 AM
So I brought this topic to let us know that in gambling, if you just play it as though you don't take it seriously whether you win or lose then you might surprisingly win an amount that will amaze you one day and it would look as if you're smart or you know how to predict the outcome of events and in most cases, when a gambler wins they doesn't really care much about their previous losses regardless of the amount they won.
We all have this kind of experience in my case I had a long run of losses on a crash game, I bet everything on what was left on my bankroll, I just bet and to my surprise, I won 20 times my bets thus regaining the bankroll that I loss that day and even made a profit

Quote
So I just felt like making some predictions in sports betting today and the events was about 8 matches, and it all played according to how I predicted them to go and I won the bet though I spent less than $1 just #1000 in my local currency to place the bet and i won close to $23 which is about #32000 in my local currency as well. Congratulations to me as i didn't expect this winning.
Congratulations on your winnings, sometimes luck comes at unexpected times, and sometimes you do not get what you plan for your games, that's the excitement of gambling, and that is why we hear people saying this could be my lucky day, some people try to feel themselves or look for a sign or a hint before they proceed to play, although they are good sometimes there are also negative effect of winning unexpectedly, you lose planning and lose control your bankroll you just want to play and use all your bankroll in the hope that another unexpected wins will happen, these are what newbies made an error on their perception of gambling.
523  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: When you are not to gamble. on: February 28, 2024, 04:10:15 PM

CONCLUSION
Gambling should be fun, it's better to stay away when it has started to become a problem.

Based on my experienced of those gamblers who become addicted they do not know if they have a gambling problem at all, all they know is they have to find a better method to win, and finding a better method to win takes a lot of time and money.

In my case I just realized when I become a misery that I have a gambling problem, so you will not realize you have a gambling when you're started to have problem, you will only realized it when you have nothing left, all those times you thought that you are close in making money or finding a method to beat the house
Just try to play a mine sweeper you will always find a winning pattern but the next day your winning pattern is not working anymore so you will try to find another one its an endless trial and error until you realized you have nothing to sustain your quest to find a winning pattern.
524  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How Do You See Losing Your Weekly Payment to The Casino on: February 28, 2024, 03:00:45 PM

How do you see losing your payment to the casino?

Do you see losing your payment back to the casino as your own form of indirect support for the project?

Do you think that I already have a bad gambling mindset thinking that by engaging in one or two bets or games I am supporting the project I promote?

This topic is for general discussions,  but I would like to hear and read what those who are promoting casinos/book markers that pay them directly into their casino accounts.

It happens to me thrice but no regret whatsoever its my decision to use it to play whether its coming from Stake or other gambling platforms, I did it twice on Stake and one on BFG, you are already supporting the project that paid you from promoting them here in Bitcointalk, but its different when you are playing and justify your losses, But If it will make you feel better that you loss your money on a platform you're supporting then have it your way, its a consolation and something that will make you feel better.

We are playing to have fun and make money in the casino of our choice and our decision whatever the outcome accept it as it is, it will not make you a bad gambler if you think its ok to lose in a casino you're promoting, and it neither will make you a bad person if you beat a casino that you're promoting.

526  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Crypto Vending Machine on: February 28, 2024, 12:59:57 PM

527  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Support, do not criticize. on: February 28, 2024, 11:17:59 AM
If you know anybody trying to stop the addiction of gambling to become better for themselves and their family, try and show them support by not criticizing them.
We should not, but people cannot stop hurling insults and criticism at people who are addicted to gambling and who want to change their ways, these people are the reason why gamblers are afraid to come out because of the ridicule, they are judged as being weak and they cannot control themselves, for these people they treated gamblers are bad people so gamblers prefer to deny and lie about their addiction, they don't want to feel weak in the eyes of the people

Quote
If you observe that they experience some kind of relapse and go back to gamble even when they said they were not going to gamble, try to encourage them to remember why they wanted to stop gambling for the time. It is not an easy decision for some of them to make, and even imagining that they will never gamble again can make it worse for them, most of them need all the support they can get to help them maintain the decision to give gambling some time away. If you criticize and mock them, they may nurse in the heart the mindset that gambling is impossible to stop, or even stop trying to stop gambling because you have already made them feel like they can never do it.
This is why I advise families of gamblers to get help from professionals so they can be guided on what to say and how they should act when their relative who is in the process of recovering should act, gamblers who wish to recover need all the help they need and they need encouraging words to combat the inner evils, the first few weeks is the hardest for the gambler and the family should be there to assist the gambler to overcome his addiction, the battle is in the mind and the only way to combat this inner evil is understanding.
528  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Jason Moloney vs Reymart Gaballo WBO Bantamweight Title (May 12) on: February 27, 2024, 03:02:56 PM
Right, that stigma has stuck with us, Filipinos still doesn't forget how Manny Pacquaio was robbed by Jeff Horn fighting in his native Australia. And so we can't really take that out of the equation every fight that it scheduled on that country specially in this case as it will be another Filipino fighting. Nevertheless, it will be totally in the hands of Gaballo. He should come here as the aggressor as he is the the one going to travel in that country and that he shouldn't rely to the judges to win this fight. Yes, he has the power to knockout Moloney and so he should be going for that in this fight.

The pressure is high for Gaballo since there are currently no Filipino boxing champions on the list. He could be the first to become a champion after the listing became empty. Ancajas failed, so now he should take the responsibility to uplift our country in the boxing world. This is another chance for him; he needs to have a convincing win so he could start chasing his dream. Just like Takuma Inoue, who recently defended his belt, Gaballo is also inspired to become a champion, and maybe someday we will see Gaballo vs. Inoue, and hopefully, Gaballo will be able to avenge his fellow boxer who fell to the hands of Inoue.

The pressure is indeed very high but it will make him more hungry, Gaballo has a good record as a true knock-out artist, and the only fighter who beat him was Donaire via kidney punch I have high hopes that Gaballo will perform better than Ancajas and Sultan.

Gaballo has straight wins after that loss, 2 of which are via KO he is an up-and-coming fighter of all the fighters left in the Filipino campaign so far right now, there is no Filipino champion, there was a time when there were 5 Filipino champions, it's a very bad year for the Filipino boxing community since Pacquiao's retirement Filipino fighters are losing, I think its time for the boxing promoters to tap new talents.
529  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is it ethical to break your gambling rules on: February 27, 2024, 12:31:49 PM

That being said, this week I noticed that I have continued in the same trend despite that I have a personal gambling rule, not to gamble for two weeks consecutively,  but unknowingly for me I am already in the third week without adhering to my own rule.
So this led me to ask the general public if I am gambling too much, although this excess didn't affect my finances in any way since I still managed to come out with little winning at the end of the day and at some level, my losses are still below 30 percent of my set out money.

This rule of yours is good until you realize that you cannot abide it because you are attracted to winning and who would not break his own rule if you're winning not every gambler experiences a series of winning, it's hard to control your urge to stop when you're winning you will end up blaming yourself for the opportunity you've loss.
You have to check your rules from time to time when it comes to gambling and always ask yourself if you can make an exception under circumstances and how dedicated are you to following your own rules.

When it comes to gambling do not make a rule that you cannot follow or break because if you do that you're just fooling yourself and you are not clear and dedicated to what you want to achieve, make a rule that you can easily follow and a rule that will not make you suffer mentally.
530  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you have this practice of gambling during one's wake on: February 26, 2024, 03:12:46 PM
not sure also whether we have a similar culture with other countries regarding this but probably the Latinos or the Hawaiians.
I live in Latin America, and it's not a common practice in the country where I live. Actually, I didn't even know people do this kind of thing, so it sounded really strange and uncommon to me, as something inappropriate for a situation where everyone adopts a formal stance towards each other, where people don't joke around, neither speak too loud, express joy or laugh. Wakes are very introspective occasions, where it seems each person reserves their time to reflect deeply and pay tribute silently to the person who has left us. In our culture, and western cultures in general, I think the least thing someone would think in a moment like that would be to gamble.

Death is a taboo in western cultures: a moment of sadness and despair in many cases, while gambling is related to joyness, excitement, leisure and pleasure. Therefore, people don't mix both.

It depends on the culture and the tradition this is normal for us I have stated in this thread that we do this to sympathize and to be with the family for the whole night, it's not like a fiesta celebration we do the gambling outside of the house while the family and those who want to sympathize are are inside the house, we usually have a tent outside of the house this is where people gamble and talks or just want to be in the premises.
But on the day of the burial, everything is solemn and full of sadness and sympathy for the family.
I guess we all have traditions that are very different from other countries when it comes to gambling and how they do it.
531  Economy / Gambling discussion / Do you have this practice of gambling during one's wake on: February 26, 2024, 02:01:20 PM
This is legal in our country provided that you ask permission from authorities, they allow gambling like card games and color games they allocate a fee, or what we call in our country a "tong" for the family of the bereaved so they can cover the expenses of the family during their hard times.
Do you have a similar practice in your country and is this legal in your country?

I often play games during the wake to keep up with friends and relatives of the bereaved this is to sympathize with the family, these are friendly games and the tong will help the family, it's been with this tradition ever since in our country, and I believe it will keep on as long as there are families who need to cover expenses of the family's who are left.
532  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Canelo vs Jermall Charlo 4th May 2024 in Las Vegas on: February 26, 2024, 12:49:12 PM
This fight is turning out to be complicated, Canelo wants to push through with this fight but PBC his promoter do not want Jermall Charlo because its not viable and will not attract good PPV sales based on boxingnews24 article

Quote
Canelo Alvarez is insisting on fighting Jermall Charlo for his May 4th fight on Cinco de Mayo weekend with PBC. If Alvarez doesn’t get his wish to face Jermall, he reportedly won’t be fighting in May. The ultimatum by Canelo (60-2-2, 39 KOs) puts PBC in a position where they’ll need to decide whether they want to give in to the superstar’s wish to face Jermall (33-0, 22 KOs) or refuse the request and lose him for the May 4th date. Premier Boxing Champions want the undisputed super middleweight champion Canelo to face Jaime Munguia on that date, reportedly believing it’s a more financially viable fight than the match against Jermall.

Source: Canelo Draws A Hard Line: Charlo Or No Cinco De Mayo Fight - Boxing News 24 (https://www.boxingnews24.com/2024/02/canelo-draws-a-hard-line-charlo-or-no-cinco-de-mayo-fight/)

Canelo wants a cherry-picked fight on that day he wants to look good in May 5 because it is a Mexican holiday and we all know that Canelo can easily beat Jermall after beating his brother Jermell, there's a possibility that Canelo will return to DAZN because he can get what he wants here, PBC wants a fight that sells and they think that a Jermall fight will not result in a profitable sales because Jermall style is no different to Jermell fight that results in easy win.
Canelo being the PPV king has the option to pick who will he fight and unfortunately he go to fighters he can easily beat, not unlike Pacquiao who is ready to fight anybody, which is why Juan Manuel Marquez is criticizing him

533  Economy / Gambling / Re: CryptoFreebie.io - For The Players on: February 26, 2024, 11:43:03 AM

As far as we know, it's not illegal to close your casino account.
For example, a player may choose to close their current account via said site support for personal reasons.
If the player has closed their account and for some reason has no options to recover or to reopen that closed account, then they can open a new one - as long as their first account is in closed state it seems to be accepted by many sites. Depends how the rules are translated and if the site is okay with that.
Eventually it is between the operator and the player.

Maybe bad phrasing by us, we do not mean that a player should have multiple active accounts. Again, question of translation.
This is only applicable for new accounts but if you do have an account that is level 2 rank like on Betfury or you are on your way to VIP like on Stake you don't expect them to prefer to close their account just to be able to avail of your 70% rakeback which you can change later if it not sustainable or if you decide to close your platform the player is left hanging, I don't like this idea of closing one account just to sign up with you especially if the account that was close is already verified, it might put the account at risk.

Anyway you say that you have 16 years of experience in gambling maybe you know the proper method of creating another account, for me if you already have an account and you want it close, if you want to go back just request to open, unless you close that account for more than two years, but you have to communicate this to the support or you will get your account in trouble later.
534  Economy / Gambling discussion / Why People Have Different Perception Of Gambling Operators on: February 25, 2024, 02:06:44 PM
I just noticed here in our city, that two brothers own different gambling platforms people have different impressions of each one of them, the first one owns a lottery outlet and he is getting respect from people from all walks of life, people look upon him as a giver of luck because many people hit consolations from his Lotto outlet

Photo from Phoenix Lotto FBpage

The other one is the owner of Cockpit Arena and many people despise him because many of their husbands and fathers lose a lot of money and go home empty-handed

I wonder why these two brothers receive different impressions when both are running a gambling platform, honestly, I prefer my friends and relatives to bet on the lotto but I advise them to be careful when playing in a cockpit, because in a cockpit arena, you can wipe out all your money and you end up empty-handed because the games are continuous you have no control and you are tempted to continue playing or lose everything whereas in Lotto you can allocate your bets.

Do you have the same situation like this in your country where gambling operators are not getting the same treatment?
535  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling games that gives you an exciting experience on: February 25, 2024, 01:45:39 PM

What is your favorite gambling game and what are the reasons that made you prefer it over the rest?

I have two casino games that I consider my all-time favorite and I'm sure also the favorites of many online casino players because you can see these two games in the majority of online casinos, these are Mine Sweeper and Crash games.

Of all the games in online casinos, these two offer the best excitement It is a game of intuition and strategy, on Mine Sweeper you just try to feel where you think the mines are placed on the chart I have good experience with this game, it is where I made a lot of money and this is also where I lose a lot, but I don't mind losing in this game the excitement and the experience is worth playing this game.

Another game is the Crash, it offers the best experience and excitement you have to be fast and quick and witty if you're lucky you can multiply up to x30 or even more if you are in luck, its an inner battle of control and your greed this is the game where you can get busted easily or your profit will skyrocket, this game is not for faint in heart I almost fall in my chair when I lose by only a fraction of a second where I could have earn 20x of my bet.

537  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: A lot of gambling sites are scams ! on: February 25, 2024, 03:43:52 AM

How can I choose the best betting site that provides me with a safe betting experience?
For you to discover this betting site that will give you a safe betting experience you need to explore and read a lot of feedback coming from players, not from streamers who collaborate but never give the real status of the casinos, Bitcointalk is probably the best place to get independent feedbacks and reviews, they have a scam section to post their complaints another platform is the casino review sites there are independent casino reviews sites like Askgamblers who rate every casino based on their features, reputation, and their feedback

Quote
Does this site provide a high level of safety for its players?
You have to check the casinos' terms of service you can only be safe if you abide by the casinos' terms of service follow their rules and are always updated on the changes, there are a lot of good casinos if there are a lot of scam casinos, you have to practice due diligence and but it will not end after you found the right casinos to play be sure that you always check if they maintain their reputation in the community

  • Buy and Hold

  • Buy Low, Sell High

  • Dollar Cost Averaging

539  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Inoue vs Casimero (possible fight in 2024) Let's discuss! on: February 24, 2024, 02:54:06 PM
This is a bad night in boxing for the Filipinos two prominent Filipino fighters just lost tonight against two Japanese fighters, Sultan against Matsuda via first-round knockout, and Ancajas against Takuma Inoue, and every Filipino is now calling Casimero to step up and fight for a title against a Japanese possibly against Naoya Inoue, there is a call now that Casimero, and MP promotion to resolve their issues and make a deal for Inoue to fight him this year.

This fight may eventually happen because some of the prominent names in Philippine boxing are losing one by one, the one remaining now is Mark Magsayo but Magsayo is not Manny Pacquiao and he is in a division that is loaded with great boxers like Navarette, Lopez and Joe Cordina this is a tough time for Filipino boxers, there was a time that there were 5 Filipino World Champions, now there is none.
540  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Jerwin Ancajas vs Takuma Inoue - February 24 on: February 24, 2024, 12:59:08 PM

Ancajas doesn't have good timing, and he looks tired now. Inoue is very disciplined to still keep his game plan at work; the counter-punching is working well for him, and the fight has just ended. What happened was the most unexpected, and that is Inoue won via KO, that body shot though. I think Ancajas is done here; he is not the same anymore, even a boxer that doesn't have a high KO rate has knocked him out.

Sorry for the lost bets, guys. That's gambling; at least the fight wasn't boring because Ancajas was really attacking and would always want to go for a kill, but his timing is off, and he doesn't have the power to KO the champion.

In round 3 I thought Ancajas was very slow and his timing was off, Takuma Inoue may not have his brother's power but he has his brother's speed, Ancajas missed a lot of big shots Takuma is beating him and he caught Ancajas with a lot of counter punches, it was not a boring fight and anyone can go down anytime when they exchanged blows until Ancajas was hit by a kidney punch.

Two great Filipino fighters just lost because of the body punches tonight this is indeed a bad night of boxing for the Filipino boxing fans, Takuma landed a perfectly timed kidney punch and we all know once you are hit with a kidney punch it takes the oxygen out of the body, and every effort to stand is futile.

Now we only have Casimero to carry the Philippine flag in boxing, ever since Pacquiao retires in boxing there's no new prospect, it seems the great era in Philippine boxing has ended because of these two losses, another Filipino fighter remaining now is Mark Magsayo, who just scored a knock out against Avelar in his featherweight debut.
I just hope there is still good fights remaining for Ancajas this is a bad year for Filipino boxers.
