5321  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which are the top metaverse tokens to consider as a long-term investment? on: January 19, 2022, 12:50:12 AM
That said, I'm on the hunt for the best metaverse tokens money can buy. Do you which are the top tokens to consider as a long-term investment? Any suggestions, and/or recommendations would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance. Smiley

If I was to concentrate on the metaverse, I would allocate some of my intended capital to the ones that has already gotten a few share of the market dominance but concentrate more on those building. Project likes sandbox and decentralized land, Axie Infinity, gale etc will be put under watch and grabbed immediately the market provide such opposite through the series of corrections we are to expect in the coming months.

Like I said, my main focus will be on those just launching because they have the best chance to give more profit if the hype was to return on the metaverse. It feels like people are yet to understand how big this sector could be considering Facebook had to rename their company just to have the first mover advantage.
5322  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why do you use stable coins? on: January 19, 2022, 12:37:17 AM
I can see using stable coins as a trading pair to purchase alts on a dex but I don't understand holding stable coins for longer periods of time like weeks, months or years as a store of value; to me this feels way too risky. What am I missing?

You hold stablecoin because of its easier to use to purchase other Cryptocurency when the market is experiencing a correction. Banks has procedure in releasing money and you might need an urgent purchase of your watched coin but due to the delay of the banks and its centralized system  that could take you more time than just having a stablecoin in your wallet that within seconds or minutes  you will be able to excute that transaction.

Stablecoin can also be stakes for stable returns and yes some merchant accept them for purchases. Most merchant convert their crypto transaction to stablecoin immediately the deal has been done and lastly stablecoin serve as a save heaven during market crash and I believe that is the main importance.
5323  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why do I feel as though I don't have enough knowledge of Crypto? on: January 18, 2022, 11:59:26 PM
If there's anyone willing to help out with where to get a thorough and extensive information about cryptocurrency in general, I will very much appreciate it.

You have done well yourself, nobody knows it all in the industry. It is still a new industry and there are many development ongoing and incoming. You just have to stay up to date and engage with the industry through following up the new trends. Do not be ignorant and decide to stay a blind eye or deaf ear from the development ongoing that how you stay on top of things.

Example; Few years back there was nothing like Metaverse or NFT but today we have all this new technology. You should study the ones you can and get familiarize with them then maybe you can improve yourself. A perfect place to get all the information you need is this forum, feel free to look around, ask questions and you'll get some quality answer to satisfy you.
5324  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What do you think that 2022 will look like? on: January 18, 2022, 11:57:49 PM
What is your market expectations this 2022? Here is what I believe will happen, we will see more dips than price surge this year and that will happen because we have many more crypto believers now, if we are in 2019 now we would have been in a heavy bear market already, as time goes on there will also be more sell than buying and bears will get their powers back

We just experience the biggest bull cycle so we should be expecting some corrections soon. Do not take what is currently ongoing as one because it has not started yet. The correction might not be as deadly as that of 2018 because we did not have much over the top buyers as we did in 2017 that brought about so many newbies buying investing into the industry.

This corrections is inevitable because that has been the cycle of the market, 2022 wouldn't be totally bullish or bearish, I think it'll be in-between. There could be alot of project that will also give profit this period so you shouldn't be discourage from investing instead consider this an opportunity to get some coin for a discounted/lower price.
5325  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: It won't hurt on: January 18, 2022, 05:36:56 PM
It won't hurt to have 100,000 shiba inu coin in your wallet you know, I'm saying this because I used to have 1,000,000 doge coin in my wallet but got tired of holding it and sold, we both know how much that it today so we can't say if shiba can make its way to where doge coin is right now, it won't hurt to have some in holding

That is not a bad advice, it is always good to have some money in the memecoin because fastly they are becoming a part of the industry. Every bull market now, there is always a period in which meme coins take center stages and this would definitely continue into future bull market. The meme industry is developing rapidly and should not be ignored.

Many regret not owning any dogecoin and many will also regret in future not owning any Shiba Inu coin. There is no guarantee here but it is best you were part of it then been told when it does get new all time high in the future. The money needed that get some good number are not that high, it is best you seized the opportunity and put some spare money into the meme Industry.
5326  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it Better to Hodl or Stake your Tokens? on: January 18, 2022, 05:20:58 PM
I used to be highly skeptical about staking in the past because of negative reviews I read about it until I discovered that it's not as bad as people painted it.

You are not alone on this as many have been skeptical about things in past in this cryptocurency space until they realize there was nothing to be scared of. There is a saying that money kept in the bank is at rest while that which is put into assets through investing is working. I consider same thought for holding and staking. With holdings you only get capital gain but with staking, you get both capital and passive gain.

For those who do not understand, capital gains only comes when you sell but passive income is a stress free income whicythe most common are dividends and staking can be considered as one. You don't have to sell your initial investment to profit, you can sell the coins gotten from staking while you still have your initial investment.
5327  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Battle of supremacy between Dogecoin and Shiba Inu on: October 31, 2021, 12:00:11 AM
that's right, after the meme hype is over, what future does it hold?
won't trust this for long term but if you are already into this, better cash out while you are still in profit.

That is right, if you invested in this project they should be for only speculative purpose and do not get attached thinking it can be used as a long term project. What happens when the bear comes, only the fundamental project can restand this selling pressure but all this meme coins that we hype will lose trading volume and lose price value as well.

Soon another meme token will get hyped because neither dogecoin or Shiba is receiving attention. Scammers are always looking for attractive things to use in deceiving investors and it seems the meme tokens are their perfect picks. We have scammers creating different Memes daily and ignorant individuals are still buying into the hype. Do not be foolish, this trend would not last forever.
5328  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are you actually using/buying NFT's, and Gaming Tokens? on: October 30, 2021, 11:52:01 PM
There is a big hype for all NFT & Gaming Tokens these days, I wonder how many person can actually say they own any art forms under, same for Game tokens.

I am sure there are way more buyers of the tokens than there are users!

Welcome to the cryptocurency industry then, what happen here are just hype and nothing else. We are lacking utility in the industry. Things are only speculated on and not be out into use. We had the Defi books bit a majority of the users never for ones used the Defi platform instead the tokens are been speculated on and bought for investment purpose.

Same thing is happening with gamefi and NFT, this innovation are good but the greed of investors wanting to get rich quick will spoil everything just as it did for defi and other trend before it.
5329  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Gearing up for alt season on: October 30, 2021, 11:40:03 PM
Altcoin season is coming, the type we got in 2017 4th quarter to 2018 1st quarter so kindly chill me your holdings, what do you think will be the next 10x coins to hold right now? Low market cap or mid market cap coins?

Meme coin are currently making waves but that does not mean they are solid project to allocate your money into. The meme are just been hyped which means it is a 50/50 chance and the risk of getting dumped on is very high. Project like dot should be given attention as they have very high chances of increasing in price.

If you can not afford dot then buying some coins in the ecosystem would be good as they too will benefit from the money that will be flowing into the ecosystem. Polkadot is a very good alternate ethereum and should be getting some recognition very soon just as Solana and others are receiving.
5330  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Which altcoin would be next gamechanger? on: October 29, 2021, 06:30:14 AM
Why call them game changers when they are no game changer. What are they bringing that is so special and contributing positively to the industry, nothing but just hype and pumps. The next pump will be another meme shitcoin. Greediness is the most default of the community. Provided humans will always be greedy, scammers will keep making more off the market as they just create a random coin and shill it to the community which they buys in anticipation of another Shiba like pump.

What are this coins you mentioned added to the industry, most of them lack utility and they lose value overtime so if you are lucky to get some profit from them do take profit and look for more fundamental project like Bitcoin and buy then hold.
5331  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Proof that airdrops never work ... on: October 28, 2021, 05:17:56 AM
They work but only for the project doing it. This people use the hunters to get free promotion then they send them worthless tokens and if they want to pay real money, they pay the hunters Penny. Instead if wanting your time online doing free promo for projects making them multi billion dollars company, why not use that time to improve on yourself.

You can take classes to become a better trader or investor etc, learn how to take control of your emotions to avoid it influencing your investment decision or better still educate yourself more on the subject Bitcoin and blockchain.
5332  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Help me understand BTC pricing on: October 28, 2021, 04:35:32 AM
While much money is needed, demand has to also increase and this two factors work together. The increase in demand brings in more money to the market which makes the sellers withhold from selling or place higher selling price therefore increasing the price of Bitcoin. Actually, the more the price of Bitcoin increase the more money is in the market.

Bitcoin bought are only taken from circulating supply available for trading when you buy from an exchange and transfer to your wallet. Keeping them on an exchange do not take them out of circulation as the exchange still have control over the coins and what is currently displaying as Bitcoin in your dashboard is not Bitcoin but IOU version of it, they only send you real Bitcoin when you withdraw to your personal wallet, which you should always do.
5333  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How to explain Bitcoin to Newbies on: October 24, 2021, 03:15:49 PM
I asked him why the sudden change of heart, he told me about the testimony he hear from someone and how he would have made enough profit effortlessly.

Be careful here, this user is only interested in the quick money and you need to clear him on this before he goes on the wrong part. First make him understand Bitcoin is not a ponzi scheme were you get rich overnight. Here you profit by holding for years. Some lucky individual gamble and get lucky when the price of Bitcoin is about to rise or pick some so to hyped altcoins and those are the people making others believe they can do the same.

If he joins this community with this mindset and gets unlucky he will get scammed or lose heavily.  Profiting from Bitcoin takes patience, let him get in when everyone is panicking and hold through the storm (corrections) and in future he will be among those celebrating.
5334  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which altcoins have the potential for growth? on: October 23, 2021, 07:55:34 PM
Next year, when altcoins can provide the best value in the market, given that there are so many altcoins that cannot be the best source for investment, market conditions do not provide a better place for them at the moment.

Next year, the market would not be as green as it was this year. We have enjoyed a bullish market this year, be ready for the corrections that next year holds. Many altcoins would not be around by the end of next year especially those hyped memecoin and NFT coins. The Defi coins might still be present as they have more utility and can be used outside of exchanges.

Unless you have plans of holding long-term, taking some profit by end of year would be recommendable so as it gives you support when the bear market starts. Avoid any hyped projects for investing next year, do not think there would not be bear, there has always been a bear market after a bullish one.
5335  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Binance promoting Shiba Inu on: October 23, 2021, 07:48:57 PM
It's a common thing in crypto space because all exchanges will promote those coins/tokens which will provide more revenue into their platform.

Exchange only cares about their revenue, they do not care if their customers are getting scammed by all the meme coins and NFT been trended daily in the industry. Knowing this will help you make better decisions when it comes to investing. Do not just invest in a project because it is trading on your favorite exchange. Do not forget also that exchange can list and also delist any project of their choice.

In this case, Binance is trying to raise revenue as Shiba Inu has been trending for days now and they do not want to miss out on the commission fees as more and more traders are buying into trading the coin.
5336  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What problems face Bitcoin? on: October 17, 2021, 07:12:42 AM
What problems in Bitcoin's infrastructure prevent it from being adopted more easily?

The only problem I can think of is, it is a threat to the exiting Fiat currency which is what is preventing it from been adopted although that thinking will be changing soon as countries has begin to pick interest in the currency. It was never going to be an easy attempt by Bitcoin to overthrown other currency (as that is the only means of the government controlling the people but steadily it has been doing that).

When the time is due, the government and regulatory bodies will realize they stand to benefit more from the blockchain technology and Bitcoin itself and instead of fighting it, they will embrace it.
5337  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which one is best and safest STABLE coin? on: October 13, 2021, 10:59:48 PM
DAI has to be the safest among all you listed above, Usdt is centralized and asset can be frozen and I do not think it is any different firm USDC. BUSD is owned and controlled by Binance exchange and things there are not decentralized either. Which leave us with just DAI and so far it has not been found shady. The only disadvantage DAI could have is that, you might not be able to sell that easily since it is not very popular and due to low trading volume, price could be volatile.

While you are converting your coins, do well not to store them on exchange, instead store them in your personal wallet and hardware if you can get one because they are th safest out there. In preparation for a long period of bear  you have to be sure your capital are in good hands and you are the perfect person to handle that not exchanges or centralized wallet providers.
5338  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to store 1 Million $ to Stable coin on: October 10, 2021, 12:53:07 PM
DAI, I think DAI is not safe Can lose value 1 day.
So what is your suggestion?

No DAI is very safe and more decentralized than all you listed above. Take some time to read about DAI stablecoin and you will stop using any other one. BUSD is very centralized as it is s basically been controlled by Binance exchange. USDT has so many flaws and not forgetting the fact that your asset can be frozen at any moment.

Do not be scared of the liquidity of DAI as it is listed on well know exchange meaning you can easily exchange it if the need araises. DAI give you security over your funds but i would not recommend having that much money in stablecoin just keep them in banks as the stablecoin are still plaged to fiats.
5339  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The misconception when buying/investing in Bitcoin on: October 10, 2021, 12:15:36 PM
when someone says bitcoin is expensive it is something wrong.

I do not think it is wrong, bitcoin is actually expensive but that is when you want to acquire it in one's but what many are yet to understand is that you do not have to own a full Bitcoin before you can actually own Bitcoin. You can steadily by in fractions until you have own enough to be comfortable with your investment.

Many people rush to buy one whole Bitcoin and when the market volatility comes they panic and sell. You can avoid this be steadily buying in fractions that way, you will get comfortable with the market and with time you can have more money in Bitcoin without panicking not minding how the market is moving.
5340  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Battle of supremacy between Dogecoin and Shiba Inu on: October 09, 2021, 04:42:02 PM
The major connections between dogecoin and Shiba Inu are the fact that they are both memes coins and have almost the same investors and supporters,

Both project are invested in by same individual which is why they pump after another, if dogecoin pumps now they take the profit, crashing the coin down then go Invest in Shiba Inu and the cycle continue in that manner. This two coins are the most dangerous to invest in among the top 50 by market capitalization. It is quite surprising they have such huge capitalization and been listed by top exchange.

Greed of missing out in trading volume and percentage the exchanges will make from trading commission, is what is causing all this. I would not be surprised if other worthless memes get listed soon as well because when the hype around the dog memes will die maybe another animal will begin to trend like cat etc.
