5361  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / What majority of altcoins CEO aren't telling you. on: August 12, 2021, 06:28:16 PM
Before an altcoins get launched, most times they must have been several funding phrase that the general public aren't allowed to participate in and some are done without anybody knowing which means there's always people that we're just enriching each time we buy newly launched tokens either from market or pre-sale.

Judging from what is happening in the market, it's very obvious that majority of the CEO are just after making money from the industry but they'll not tell you that instead they keep decieving everybody that they created the token to solve world problem meanwhile there's no utility of that project only just it been tradable.

While we Invest in project, we shouldn't blindly follow what the CEO are saying regarding their project, always make sure you research and have been convince based on the evidence you see that the projects is likely to succeed like roadmap, etc and not rely on what the CEO will say because everybody thinks theirs is the best and get clouded by emotions. There's so many altcoins, don't get too attached to anyone that you'll be blinded and not see what a scam they are before they exist scam.
5362  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Are meme/NFT investment really worth the hype they're getting?. on: August 11, 2021, 05:36:20 AM
Sometimes I begin to wonder how it's easy to misguide the members in this community. The rich has made so much money form their investment in crypto and other aspect of investing now they just want to have fun by playing with meme investment like Elon musk. Without understanding that, we now see that decision of theirs as an investment opportunities and go putting all our money in a joke.

The rate at such a stupidity is what make me believe, we still have a long way to go in this industry. We don't understand the rich are messing with our heads in this industry. How can someone bindly buy an Art fir such high amount all in the name of participating in NFT. We don't learn form our mistakes in this industry. Isn't it same way we had thousands but fICO in the past and they mostly scam their investors which the presale participate profited.

Why risk it all on meme and NFT when you can simply buy Bitcoin or other legit coins and profit in the future. We have to stop giving this rich bastard and scammers the room to scam us and ripoff of our money. Stop this worthless investment and Invest in the right things to secure a bright future.
5363  Other / Beginners & Help / Help me differentiate this thought, teach a man how to fish or give him Bitcoin. on: August 07, 2021, 07:05:26 AM
I came across a meme some months back and it stuck to my my head that I had to put it down in writing to some extend on my profile (personal) statue. The meme was emphasizing on giving a man Bitcoin and you'll fees him for centuries and it got me wondering about the popular quotes that says "Give a poor man fish and you feed him for a day, but teach him how to make money and you feed him for lifetime". Now if the quote meaning is that giving out money only enslaved the mind of the receiver as he/she begin to think less on how to make a living for himself instead begins to rely on you, which is bad.

But then, if you teach that individual how to make money, they become independent and there's higher chances of them replicating same action to others and the good continues. Now in the cryptocurency community the opposite is the case, people are given fish (money Bitcoin) daily through giveaway and other means steadily on the social media platforms. Isn't this contradicting everything. We're producing dependant society that rely on others instead of looking for alternative ways to make a living for themselves and start earning bitcoin.

What the meme is saying 'Give a man Bitcoin and he'll be feed for centuries' should this be the case, why isn't it publicizing teaching about bitcoin and feeding the man for lifetime or is there something that I'm missing here?.
5364  Other / Serious discussion / Re: I am a member of this community, I am running for US House of Representatives. on: August 04, 2021, 06:57:59 AM
Like they said, politicians will always be politicians, they know how to tell people what they want just to get them on there side, I hope you're not just saying all this to get our mind but truly what to improve the life of your people. While I was reading your thread, I can see someone that believe in bitcoin from the get go so good lock. Well I don't think you election would have much contributions from this forum unless you're planning on getting some citizens from the forum to join your campaign team by volunteering.

I don't know how election campaigns are done at your end but I do hope you come out with a great campaign strategy to emerge the winner of the election. It would be nice having Bitcoin enthusiast in the government so we can get some break, there attack on the community is just too much. Good luck again.
5365  Economy / Reputation / Re: Show of Appreciation, A Senior Member, a new responsibility on: July 28, 2021, 09:45:09 AM

5366  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Did you really miss it? on: July 28, 2021, 04:21:36 AM
There will be new opportunities in the future. I am willing to learn more about this market and find the next "Bitcoin".

There can't never be the next Bitcoin and we have to understand that if we want to benefit massively form the industry, we have to understand that without bitcoin, this market won't have come into reality. Bitcoin has every factor supporting it to be dominating for a very long time. No cryptocurrency can out shine Bitcoin, they all need it to be worth something.

That been said, if you're investing, invest because you want to make profit and not to replace Bitcoin. As a cryptocurency investor you should always value Bitcoin and make sure you own some. We can only have one in the whole world while altcoins will always be widely available for purchase. If you miss this particular coin, no need to worry as others opportunity will present itself in due time, just keep accumulating fiat so when the opportunity comes this time, you won't miss it.
5367  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Campaign Token on: July 28, 2021, 04:09:13 AM
Campaign organizers knows social media has the biggest publicity coverage so in order to get more people to promote them on this various platform they offer better payrate for the promoters. Signature advertisment focusses on just one platform which is the forum and the numbers are limited unlike with twitter and other social media campaign there number are far more than signature so they have more promoters to pay which increase their budget for the campaign.

I feel the social media promoters are under paid in most of the campaigns while signature are over paid, I mean all the signature promoters like myself have to do is just comment on topic and the reach of our promotion are just limited to those who read the threads we write on but with social media, hashtags also has its advertising to do with addition to our friends or followers seeing our adverts on their feeds.
5368  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Be careful what you choose to invest in now, not all coins will recover. on: July 24, 2021, 09:05:25 PM
The popular opinion now is buy the coins that are down, and when the market recovers that you'll be in profit. While that saying is correct but that doesn't go for all coins. Don't go buying every coins you see losing value just because you think when the market bounces up, they'll follow. Majority are losing value because people are seeing them for what they truly are which are just a waste of investment and time, also a ticking time bomb waiting to explosed.

The memes you all are rushing to buy today most probably will die with this market and won't be much of a sort after coin when the next bull run comes same goes for the Defi, NFT, launchpad projects you're all rushing to get them cheap not knowing you're buying a waste. Choose wisely, follow up the project. See if their developers are working on something or just hiding behind the now popular saying, the market is unfavorable.

Project with visions uses the bear market to build as they'll be getting less distracted with the whole when moon or when binance question for those not listed there yet. The current market situation present an opportunity to research properly and invest wisely, take notes.
5369  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: how can i find alt coins before they explod on: July 24, 2021, 08:34:42 PM
so i havent invested anything in crpto YET (idk i want to see if bitcoin goes down lol il probly invest a bit into bitcoin and eth now tho) so yea as the title says how can i find alt coins that havent blown up.

ps im a total newb so any tips will be welcomed and thanked!  Smiley

The market has experience some major setback and this will throw alot of hypes nonsense project out of the way for news ones to come on boards when the market starts recovering again therefore I'll advice against what you just indicated interest in. There'll be new projects that'll just be hyped as of last time and many will become a victim of their scams.

Instead of chasing after their underdogs as you'll call them, just look for established projects that has a future and buy into them. Majority are already at a big discount so getting them now will be a plus to you as they'll most likely regain price when the market stabilized. Owning Bitcoin is a must, it's currency undervalued don't miss the opportunity o buying this low.
5370  Other / Archival / Re: [FOR NEWBIES] How To Be a Quality Poster on: July 24, 2021, 08:05:25 PM
Again we get this kind of thread that aren't bringing anything new to the table but just a repeat of what the other thread creators have said in the past. The point is, there's nothing like a guidelines to quality posting on the forum since there's nothing to qualify that. You don't teach people to be a quality poster per se as you're just telling them to be what they're not and that's not what the forum was intended for. We're all from different backgrounds so allow them to bring out their true self and those that need corrections will be corrected while those that requires guidances will be guided.

What you consider quality might not be what others considered quality. Some writers think bolding their words make it look quality while others considered those guilty of this to be low quality writers. I'll prefer reading a one line comment to multiple words plagiarized from the internet or not meaning much. Don't misunderstand me, I understand you meant well but let's stop the whole how to write quality bullshit as it doesn't make any sense.
5371  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Why the hate on binance exchange on: July 21, 2021, 01:12:33 PM
Is there any tangible reason why binance exchange is been hunted? It seems they just hate success or what? Anyways no matter what they try CZ is a determined fellow, that's why binance made it this far, it's my best exchange and won't be changing any time soon

Cz has accomplish so many things in just a short time which makes him feel invisible. I'm very happy with the success of Binance but they deserve all that's coming to them. Binance is taking our decentralized from us and that's not a funny development. They want to control the whole industry so it'll be very easy to manipulate and make their elite investors more rich. First they conquer the exchange industry next the took over wallets and Coinmarketcap.

That's too much power for just one man/company in an industry that was created for decentralization. Already they're hijacking all other sections like Peer2peer, decentralized swapping (which isn't totally decentralized), crowdfunding, staking, Defi trends etc. They're making the industry centralized which shouldn't be welcomed.
5372  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will BTC fall below $20,000? Bargain hunting? on: July 21, 2021, 01:04:05 PM
BTC rebounded quickly, shouldn't it fall below $20,000? Good bargain hunting opportunity now.

I don't think now is the right time to start hunting for altcoins and start investing in them. If Bitcoin was to fall further below $20,000 then as altcoins will fall further. The alternative market is currently very unstable for altcoins as that of Bitcoin is currently taking a beating. You can pick some altcoins that are currently oversold and keep an eye on them waiting for the opportunity to grab them at more discount when Bitcoin fallen, no need to rush.

Bitcoin can't withhold that support level at $29,000 it's holding for long, soon it'll fall and that corrections will take it below $20,000 but an immediately bounce back will follow since at that price is Bitcoin support many traders are targeting to get some Bitcoin at.
5373  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: how to do selecte best bounty or airdrop on: July 17, 2021, 07:46:08 AM
~
In the site, they claimed to be in partnership with MEW and I particularly use MEW (the unsafe way which is the wallet file), then they want me to put my wallet into their site which includes giving out my PK and also my password.
At that point, I just closed it off and never joined any airdrops ever again.

This trick isn't new but many individuals still fall for it because they're either not informed or just don't take their security serious. If you look more into the airdrop were trying to claim, it won't be worth much. You were smart enough to use an alternative wallet but many newbie use their main wallet and fall victim. Even though they don't have money today in that wallet, they might still use the wallet to store their money in the future without knowing it has been compromised.

Scammers know there will always be potential victims as the industry is full of inexperienced and gullible investors so they always target it. For just $1 - $5 that fees has already taken most of the money, they are willing to risk it all, just so sad.
5374  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: how to do selecte best bounty or airdrop on: July 17, 2021, 06:11:56 AM
You know what's funny about your post, it's the fact you think those 15 tokens from the project you got aren't scam just because you recieve some worthless tokens in your wallet and that's the mentality many hunters have that's why they keep promoting worthless projects without even realizing it just because they have dead coins in their wallet. Majority of the airdrops this days are hardly giving out any worth to their participants, they make it seems like you'll be getting a fair share of their token meanwhile you're getting pennies and if you were to get something out of the airdrop, you'll have to hold for years and that doesn't guarantee the project will become successful.

Bounties on the other hand has some advantage but that depends on your research, don't just join any random one you see, choose them wisely and only promote those that have high chances of succeeding. We have managers launching very promising project like Hhampuz, you can pick one to participate in although this still doesn't guarantee the project becoming a success.
5375  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Taking Profits on Altcoins Strategy on: July 17, 2021, 06:02:10 AM
I am looking to take some profits on my altcoins after the next big pump.
2. Once I take the profits in stablecoins, is putting them on something like Blockfi to gain interest the best thing to do while I wait for another dip to possibly reinvest them?

For the security of your money purpose, keeping them in stablecoin is tge safest that's if you don't want them to be in fiats. Now ones they're in stablecoin, having them stored in your personal wallet is the next best thing to do. I don't accept the idea of handing them over to a third-party for storage or investment as you're simply putting back your money to the market for scammers to try stealing.

Many things can go wrong when your money isn't under your control, firstly you can get restricted from accessing you money or they get stolen through hack and now you'll have to rely on the operators of the service for compensation.
5376  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Don't panic on: July 17, 2021, 05:49:12 AM
Why do people lose money in crypto? the number one reason is panic, they tend to be controlled by emotion,

I would rather say the number one reason is greed, there's no reason to panic during a bull market as all coins tends to raise but there's some reason to be greedy which cost traders and invest their money when the bear comes as they didn't take profit when the opportunity presented itself. Greed is the reason many looks for the quickest way to make money but end up getting scammer.

Panicking and other emotions has a role to play since they contribute to the downfall of investor or trader, which is why if you want to succeed in the industry, you have to watch your emotions.
5377  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What are the developments currently trending in crypto? on: July 17, 2021, 05:44:14 AM
Right now I see a lot of people who enter Crypto forums to be able to get profit through some cryptocurency.
Are virtual assets like BTC still promising even though the years have changed?

The very day Bitcoin stopped been promising, that's the end of the cryptocurency market. Bitcoin is what is bringing people to the industry, others are just means of multiplying their profits so they can get their hands on more bitcoin. Other coins might fail but that's not likely going to happen to bitcoin because of the fundamentals.

Bitcoin wasn't created out some sort of hype like how most coins was created. It was created because the founder saw something worth bringing out an alternative to and more better way. Bitcoin is the realest among all so you shouldn't think it's dying anytime soon.
5378  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How to announce yourself as a Newbie! on: July 16, 2021, 07:10:18 PM

The best way you can announce yourself is with your posts quality. Everybody notice a quality post when they see one and if you try to make yourself useful by constantly participating in quality discussion, very soon you won't be just another users no body notice on the forum as they're lost in the countless spams but that user that makes decent posts and attract readers.

Most newbies today just rush to announced themselves as they're probably alts and have seen others get merited for doing same or were told by their referral to do similar things. The sad part is that, they suck at it, basically everyone is saying the same thing so it becomes boring to read and I hardly think anyone still read their announcement thread again.
5379  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: No late commer in cryptocurrency on: July 16, 2021, 06:57:27 PM
If you think some coins are so expensive, buy the inexpensive ones. No one knows the pregnancy that carries a king.
Thanks!

Be very careful when giving out advice like this as it seems like a financial advice, this particular advice has lead many to their doom in the market. Just because a coin is not expensive doesn't mean it's a perfect alternative to the already expensive ones like bitcoin etc. This same reason is why people go and invest in coins trading for just zero's of cent without realizing they're buying coins that has billions to trillions of supply circulating which makes it impossible to increase without manipulation.

When investing, consider the fundamentals of the project before looking at the price. Many projects currently listed in the market shouldn't even be tradable as they offer nothing to the industry. They're just pump and dump coins waiting on their new victims to scam.
5380  Other / Meta / Re: When is the right time to lock a topic? on: July 16, 2021, 06:48:59 PM
Even when the op problem is solved, other posters continue to comment on the thread sometimes leading to unnecessary discussion.

I'm glad you added sometimes because I have seen thread that still had productive discussion after the OP questions was answered. This is a forum and one of the identity of a forum is discussion. Discussion on a thread doesn't always have to be about the OP, some times the replies can bring about other discussion as members tends to debate/argue. A mistake or not so correct answer has to be addressed and closing the thread would means that can't be achieved and most likely mislead others reading the post in the future.

If you opened a thread, the only time I'll considered you close it, is when you noticed it's becoming spammy. Don't deprive others of contributing to discuss ongoing even though your concern towards creating the thread has been attended to.
