Those went quick. I might have one or two left somewhere, but I've taken them off the site. Did yours save your life?
I haven't ever been in a shoot-out, which I'm very thankful for, but there have been a few shady encounters in parking lots where the fact I was carrying probably did save my life. Having that super compact and slim .380 really does make it convenient to carry all the time, and having that wallet holster really makes a difference when drawing and firing such a small weapon. I only see accessories on your website. Do you have or plan on getting an FFL?

Nice!
Those P3AT holsters are a lifesaver...literally.

I read this: "Average people can help simply by running a full node that accepts incoming connections from the Internet. Just download the client and run it, 24/7 -- ideally with an empty wallet for maximum security." by jgarzik
In work I've got a full access to many dedicated servers - a lot of cpu power and all the bandwidth one can eat. I'd like to help by running those full nodes. On Mon I will compile and install bitcoind at those machines. Now I'd like someone to provide me a correct parameter list that I can run bitcoind with. I will not have time to figure it out it myself (especially things like -blocknotify=<cmd>)). I also rather use parameter list over config file; in case I've got to change jobs and get rid of my illicit doings quickly.
My servers are standard debian setup with outside IP address on eth0 interface.
Thanks! We need as many people running full nodes around the world as possible.

If you've posted this so called "proof" on other forums over and over, go back to the forums, spend 5 seconds searching on your username and "bullion" and repost it.
Otherwise, we heard you the first time, and are unconvinced, no matter how many times you repeat yourself IN ALL CAPS.

What I take away from this is that BFL processed your refund in under 24hrs. This makes me more confident in them as a prospective customer. Thanks for sharing.

First I've heard that Bruce got all his coins back. Do you have a source?
It seems pretty likely that Mybitcoins were run by Bruce, and he was the one who took the money. He's a convicted scammer, and a lot of the messages from "Tom Williams" were written in the same characteristic way, with only lower case and lots of ..., as Bruce used to write. I hope you're never on any juries.

To this day, I believe Bruce purposely left that page on the screen for the NPR guys to see, knowing that would make a great cover for him. Remember, Bruce was the only person to get all his coins back, presumably 25,000 BTC.

there is major difference between sentiment and action few ppl seams to get that
The better question to ask would be at what price will you sell your bitcoins lol I've never understood why people would phrase any question like that, unless it's that they see Bitcoin as a get-rich-quick scheme and have no long term confidence. Otherwise, you NEVER sell your BTC "at a certain future price." You hold onto them until you need to spend them. Why would there be a certain price you sold everything out at and moved to an inferior holding? There's no "price" that would make me sell. Only a superior (proven) system to invest in.

How's the Macau initiative going? Dying to hear more about this...the term "killer app" is getting really hack, but Macau would certainly be a killer app.

I will spell it out for you -- it is a form of legal tax avoidance, which I support and am very interested in. I don't mind becoming a legal employee of that company, if I can arrange that I will pay less taxes.
There's no such thing as legal tax avoidance - have you seen the tax code lately? It's about 2 feet thick and filled with contradictions. If they want to put you in jail, they will. End of story.

Current player counts are totaling 2.7 Million. It was only about 250k two days ago! They must be handing out more invites hopefully from the main site. http://www.ingress.comI also found http://www.ingressinvites.com but I am usually weary of giving my email out to an unknown website. I read that invites drop for hacking portals...I have been insanely busy for the last few days, I will try to make some Ingress art soon I guess. If you get any invites to pass on in-game, I'll owe you one. You having fun? I heard it uses a lot of battery...I have a couple of 8000ma portable powerpacks for just such an occasion.

You can get an invite by waiting in an IRC, more details here: http://www.enlightened.co/index.php/topic,5.msg9.html#msg9They need to put it on the iphone so people can actually play it.
I heard that an app is in the works for iOS devices. If it were me, I'd go buy a cheap compatible tablet to play on. I gave it 8 hours or so, waiting in IRC is pretty hit and miss. I'll have to wait for open beta I guess. Game looks awesome.

Either way the company signing the contract is liable. They are liable because they are liable for the actions of their real employees or they are liable because they made a false contract.
I'm well aware of that and never contradicted you. That's part of what they get paid for. But all of you guys are making assumptions about the terms of the contract and this request. It's not automatically "fraud" just because you've come up with some situation where it could be.
|
|
|
I think you're referring to a different situation than I am. Having a software company temporarily hire you and accept contracts for you to work on is not lying or fraud, and it's a very common practice. That's all I was saying. I didn't get the impression this guy was looking for someone to lie about anything.
Well, that's the idea... As far as I see, he wants to get paid in Bitcoins. He doesn't say anything about lying.

Sounds legit.... Of course there's that pesky problem of fraud. This is not fraud.
