I know you are trying not to directly be a negative fudder but really think about your actions. If you do not see anything that is remarkable then why remark? Advertising.

Stop trying to post on this thread just to advertise Julian Assange.

We get it, you like him, and clearly you have some sort of fiscal benefit from the publicity you generate when posting randomly on some forum in the western spiral arm of the Internet. But really, this constant advertising you're doing is getting out of hand.
Dafuq?

If anything I am advertising the idea that surveillance by ruling parties creates a significant upperhand on the downtrodden. He just happened to say it in the New York Times. What is your issue muchacho?

*edit* to futher break this convo of signatures since I NEVER BROUGHT IT UP... I am not posting in an anti-assange forum am I? You however seem to be confused about where you are.

Will you guys stop getting so offended by what other devs say?

He didn't come in here to start shit. He was asked by someone what he thought of our whitepaper and code. He gave his opinion. Stop attacking him.

Jesus fuck grow up.

+1

I'd like to see a reasoned response to FluffyPony's criticisms by Ryno.

lol - Ryno is literally the most South African name I know.

If you look at the timestamps, Fluffy pony made those comments before shadowsend v2 was open source...

Busted...

Fudders gonna fud...Great chance to snatch up more SDC at these levels Wink

Not sure if I'm misunderstanding Longenecker or everyone else is. My initial comments were made after reviewing 1 of the 2 commits to the "anon" branch, the 2nd commit didn't exist at the time. It would be impossible for me to have foreknowledge as to what would be contained in the commit, and any idiot can look at the first commit and also observe that it didn't contain generateRingSignature(), nor were the verification functions wired up. I'm certainly not "busted" or "fudding", and if that's anyone's takeaway from me making a clear observation then they need to seriously revisit that persecution complex of theirs.
It would have been possible to poke your head into IRC though if you had a question.

*edit* Also, are you really trying to advertise for Monero here?

I see nothing wrong with healthy debate about code. We can learn from each other. Its not all or nothing. Many of us have eggs in multiple baskets.

Diversification of thought and investment portfolios is a good thing as is constructive criticism

It's healthy, but the difference is that you bagholder of ANC, and still have not bought SDC

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=227287.msg9878994#msg9878994
I don't know what you just said but ANC has always been awesome to SDC.

Also, the fud escalated with the price Hueristic. It happens, I just wouldn't have expected anything other than "hey, i can prove it isn't anonymous" to be effective. Since no one has done that I will continue to hold SDC. Sorry to see your disdain. I would be willing to bet IRC would treat you better and provide answers to questions you might have.

Really pathetic for Monero team to post in here, shows their desperation

Desperate times always call for desperate measures Roll Eyes
Indeed. Essentially that argument broke down into them saying that we are a grossly undervalued and more code efficient version of them.
545  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: ⋆⋆⋆ [SDC] ShadowCash | ShadowSend v2 & White Paper MANDATORY WALLET UPGRADE! ⋆⋆⋆ on: December 18, 2014, 04:26:41 PM
Actually there is quite a difference in our signatures. You have a vested interest in yours that is quantifiable fiscally. Just because you state and others state they don't want to get into a this coin vs. that coin debate; quite frankly you literally already did that using your own coin.

You'll find it's the other way around. Someone posted it to the Monero subreddit asking for comment. If we're going to go by "shots fired" rules, then you'll I'm just going to quote the Godfather at you: "you come into my house on the day my daughter is to be married, and you ask me to do murder for money."

Nonetheless, my commentary was centered around the claim of NIZKP, when clearly there is no more NIZKP in the source than exists in Monero's keyimage system. The rest of your comment is spurious - of course the signatures themselves will be different, you're implementing them without unlinkability.

Ignore all that, I misunderstood which signatures we were talking about. The line below still stands;)

Aaaand on that note I'm going to go back to my corner of BTCT before I get accused of coming here to "fud" when, let's be honest, I don't much care:)
Why wouldn't you just delete the line "when clearly there is no more NIZKP in the source than exists in Monero's keyimage system." instead of striking through since it is obvious fud? Advertising, that's why.

I didn't have a question - my comments were because someone posted it to the Monero subreddit - "ShadowCash Ring Signature Whitepaper released -- Any comments?"

And as pookielax31 surmised, I am part of the Monero Core Team. I am not here to advertise anything any more than you are here trying to be a spokesman for Julian Assange. It's just a profile signature on a forum.

You digress. And surely you jest. I never said anything about debate being bad or learning from each other is bad.

The review: "I don't understand it, so I don't like it."

Why don't people just go into IRC when they have a question? Trolls just post randomly and it turns into wack-a-mole by the dev hitting different sites. Anyone that reviews and has questions and doesn't go into IRC while dev is on for answers, loses all credibility IMO.

What really sucks here is that it seems like devs are trolling devs most likely to grab cheap shadow.
550  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: . on: December 17, 2014, 07:36:19 PM

i am asking about copy paste?
Dev mention that about future plan, so where is unique code?

I believe it's called a reference?...hence the reference number to the paper.

EDIT: zero knowledge proofs require a trusted setup. This allows the person who set up the system to create tokens at will if they didn't destroy the setup parameters.
this is why zero cash can't work.
It's the same problem with zero vert.

I would pay someone a bitcoin if they could teach me what all that meant in that thar white paper. lols. I am serious though. DM me.

Of course the github source is production capable! Hense its current state. Every other exchange is using it and so are every one of my nodes.
Its on the op, the wiki, and the website.

The github source has not been pushed to in 28 days, it appeared to us looking through the git commits, the majority of the development was not occuring on the github. Our system requires a somewhat up to date coind API so we can provide proof of reserves.
How "up to date" is PPC and Doge? Just curious because the last commits I see is in July for PPC and August for Doge.

Your best tweet   Cool

I think I am in love with you xprim777.
Bought usecoin at 1.3k because of the Blonde
She started to promote use at 1.5k, hit 4k.
Check her history on Twitter... she's the best trader in crypto.

We all have and she calls em as soon as they are going down. Cann is the most recent crapfest she recommended.

*final post here*

It is people like you that will destroy the crypto scene because you think you are entitled to other people's money. Your justification is that because they already got ripped off by ICO's that it should be ok for you to do it? That is some gypsy logic there. Whatever brand you were going for on twitter; you just shat on it. You are Mark Karpeles. You are Carmac Lucking. You are Alex Green.
558  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: Pump group 2.0 - The profit machine on: December 05, 2014, 10:30:24 PM
LOL... the number of these groups that have popped up since I started mine is crazy... looks like I built a cool new market out here.

+10 to myself!  Grin

Good luck blonde.
At least you provided data. This is just somebody saying they made a bunch so you should give em your money because you can trust them to make you a bunch. Also, there were pumpers before you Bob and will be pumpers after. I understand this is an unregulated market but bullcrap like this should be dismissed.

I would also like to point out that my group runs different... I dont manage the btc... everyone manages their own btc....

Just saying.. and yes there were "pumpgroups" before me... but none of them did it the way I do.....

ACP is da best!
I actually agree with you there. It is much better that people in a PnD hold their own money should they choose to be poisonous members of the crypto community. Might as well be a protected responsible consumer. And this chick isn't going to answer my question about proof of her success is she?
Proof of my success? I'm a career woman  Wink

Riiiight... so Bob was kind enough to supply graphs with when he plans to get in and out and how you can sustain a coins worth after their investment is cleared. You provided... literally nothing.

*edit* Sorry you provided information that you are a cute blonde who has never been married and is super good with investing because PR.
You'll have the proof of success when I'll be able to build this pump group as my vision. if people invest in ico shit can invest in me. lol
Wow. Thank you for proving my point.

*Edit* also to address your ninja edit on an earlier post... Yes I am a fucking miner not like it matters. I run asics and have since the beginning. I am also an investor because I have job. Does that make my opinion count less or more lady?
