So after repairing my wallet I have another issue..
My wallet is stuck at block #244262 and won't sync further. It's been like that for past ~23 hours. I have around 10 active connections to the network, but nothing. I'm running ShadowLite (@Win), tried launching wallet with -thinstake and -thinfullindex, downloading the bootstrap.dat file, but nothing helped.
Which brings me to my second question: I know how to backup wallet, but how does it work when I'd like to e.g. reinstall my OS? How do I import the wallet afterwards? (AKA I'd like to "reinstall" my wallet)
What wallet version do you have ?

This project is developed on a private git? Is the github source up to date? We have been considering the idea of implementing a SDC market and we want to review the codebase.

@ LucyLovesCrypto Testnet has finished. Waiting for imminent release of whitpaper and new ZK wallets, which will be on github. The Dev (Ryno) can often be found in irc and is always helpful. This ain't Cloak, it's Shadow ![Cool](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cool.gif) Thank you very much! I am happy to hear this (especially the GitHub part) Once zk releases on mainnet (open source) I see some generous tips in the future for the dev team. You guys are great! Lucy, Shadowcash won't be opensourced near time. This will avoid the appearance of clones. Because we all know that SDC techs are superior

It was released to fix a bug related to the wallet playing up after too many transactions which exists in 1.2.0.1. I am running 1.2.0.2 since I frequently stake my coins. The official website still links to 1.2.0.1 for some reason altho this will all be moot soon. If you get stuck syncing I just restart the wallet and that should fix it.

I'll try to wipe it and reinstall.

Pop in IRC for more extended support if u continue to have probs. Regarding backup: Copy the wallet.dat to a USB stick. When restoring simply replace whatever wallet.dat file the new wallet generates with a copy of your one making sure the shadowcash wallet is not running at the time.

All right, so backup wallet.dat, close wallet, wipe everything else in ~\AppData\Roaming\ShadowCoin, restart wallet and copy over my wallet.dat? Sorry for such a noobish questions, but these instructions aren't available @ SDC wiki or else.. it might be a good idea to post a few of these "tutorials" for newbies – is SDC wiki open to such submissions?

As you said but no need to delete wallet.dat before replacing it since you're not moving your wallet between computers. SO (what I would do) 1. backup ur wallet.dat to a USB stick 2. quit SDC wallet if running 3. delete everything in app roaming except the wallet.dat 4. restart shadowcash wallet and wait for a regular sync Did you check shadow.cash for tutorials? It already has some. More always good ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) note: The sync is slow but this issue has been addressed iirc and will be MUCH faster in a future wallet.

Bump Thank you. We are not asking to see the source to ZK right now, we just need an up to date sourcecode that is production ready we can review and compile.

Many are waiting on the sidelines observing... because there have been teams who attempted ZK but failed or ran into great delays... If SDC delivers on ZK before the year ends, buckle your seat-belts boys...

Of course the github source is production capable! Hense its current state. Every other exchange is using it and so are every one of my nodes. Its on the op, the wiki, and the website.
