We don't know that not seeing something doesn't make it to exist or not exist. That wasn't the point.

The point was that BB Theory is the anomaly that says that the BB that it produces doesn't exist. How? As I said earlier, BBT says that things were radically different in the beginning of the BB happening? But how can we know this? We used our math and physics to get the understanding of BB. Why wouldn't BB math and physics be different? Everything else was back then. So, our math and physics are producing something that they can't produce... namely, BB.

This doesn't say that some form of BB didn't exist. What it says is that we don't have evidence of BB, and certainly not in BBT.

Might as well say Peter Pan and Tinkerbell are real. Might as well say that E.E. (Doc) Smith's science fiction really happened. Might as well say that Andre Norton's Ross Murdock series is absolutely right. BBT proves that BB couldn't have happened the BBT way.

As far as the resurrection of Jesus goes, we have loads of witnesses who attest to Jesus in the Bible. Or are you going to throw out all the court cases in the USA and the UK because you weren't there?

Cool

There's no evidence for the big bang but there is for a jewish zombie rising from the grave that can make you live eternally if you telepathically communicate with him and symbollically eat his flesh so he removes a magical curse you've been cursed with because a woman made from a rib was convinced by a talking snake to eat from a magical tree???

And you believe this because someone wrote it in a book? There's also Harry Potter but we don't believe people are flying around on brooms.

You can buy a telescope and see for yourself the Big Bang is real. Everything originates from one spot.

https://youtu.be/zmrbjp-GDfk?t=301

A Jewish zombie is a new one for me. Never heard of this.

What you don't know about seeing the BB through a telescope is, you don't know if something other than BB arranged the light that enters the telescope so it looks like a BB is out there somewhere.

The only reason we know that the stuff we see when we are driving on the road is real is, people got out of their cars and went and confirmed that it was real.

You don't know that you aren't being tricked by the light coming to earth, into believing that its source is BB, even though it may be something else altogether that is tricking you into a false BB belief, by arranging the light into BB patterns, when a BB never existed at all.

Cool

Jesus was a Jew.
He rose from the dead and wants people to  symbollically eat his flesh.
So technically yes, he was a Jewish zombie.

Quote

Are you serious?
The Big Bang happened 13 billion years ago.
We can only now see planets, galaxies etc. that are 13 billion light years away. 1 light year is the distance light travels in 1 year.
It means the Big Bang happened - 13 billion years ago. What could possibly set the light reflect us as everything in space came from one single spot? Why are the planets we've sent robots to moving in the direction away from that spot like everything else in the universe?

But it's absolutely certain and there's nothing tricking you into believing a jewish zombie rose from the grave so he can make you live eternally if you telepathically communicate with him and symbollically eat his flesh so he removes a magical curse you've been cursed with because a woman made from a rib was convinced by a talking snake to eat from a magical tree???

It's time to move to sea. Elwar has showed us that the nations don't like the idea. But the oceans are large. We don't have to sit a mere 13 or 14 miles off the shore of some nation. There's lots of room out there.

Cool

It ain't really easy to move that far away, you'd have to be in international waters thousands of miles from land and you'd have to be self-sufficient to survive. That's why they usually make the seastads near other countries, but it always backfires like this Sad Even if outside of their zone..

Of course, it's not exactly easy. However, all major nations have technically, legally agreed that beyond 12 nautical miles off their shores is international waters. There are many nations that hold as much as 200 nm as business waters for their nation, even though it is technically international waters. Two hundred miles out isn't all that far regarding how far international waters go. There are loads of underwater shelves in the Pacific Ocean that are less than 100 meters deep - shallow enough for a seastead - and outside of even the business waters of all nations.

If Elwar had doubled the 12 nm, and planted his seastead 25 nm out, he might have been safe. But safety has to do with keeping a low profile. Elwar was advertising. If Thailand hadn't bothered him, it might not have been long before some pirates would have checked him out just to see.

Cool

I'd love to see a new sovereign nation built this way, but considering past efforts, I'm pessimistic about someone succeeding anywhere close to another nation. Sealand is the only successive effort that I know of.
543  Other / Politics & Society / Re: a society question about vegans on: November 12, 2019, 05:14:26 PM

Considering this it's really weird to see vegans live longer lives on average.
I think there's reasonable suspicion to think it might have something to do with the average vegans healthy lifestyle in contrast to the average meat-eater.

considering veganism is coined in 1944 (75 years ago) its not actually got to a stage of proving 'live longer' as the average age of any human diet is higher than vegan age.

by the way there are some people that smoke all their lives and live until 100+ .. but that does not mean on average smoking makes you live longer, obviously

what you also find out is things like people who want a 'healthy lifestyle' usually ensure they go to have their regular doctor checkups and they examine their body more often. nothing to do with diet but just general awareness of health. where as some people who dont care about health just avoid the doctors as its inconvenient.
thus without even discussing what type of food goes into someones mouth. stats would show the health conscious people would show as having their doctor find cancers earlier than someone not health conscious.. simply because the stats sway to the health conscious people simply turning up for health checkups. emphasis nothing to do with diet

There's this
https://www.independent.co.uk/life-style/health-and-families/health-news/vegan-meat-life-expectancy-eggs-dairy-research-a7168036.html

There's this. It shows lower mortality rates with those taking plant protein vs animal protein. But it's about substituting animal protein for plant protein. I wonder how easy it is for vegans to intake the same amount of plant protein that we do by eating meat. Would you take enough naturally?
544  Other / Politics & Society / Re: a society question about vegans on: November 11, 2019, 06:41:05 PM
As a vegan you can get plenty of protein from tofu and the various 'meat replacement' products, it's not just beans and lentils.
But a vegan diet is not 100% complete - you miss out on B12 and (in my country, not in some others) iodine.
I can get those in some fortified soy milks, but if I'm not having enough soy milk I do sometimes supplement with B12 pills.

you need to eat 750g of tofu vs 240g of meat to get same protein requirement
you need to eat 1kg of tofu vs 240g of meat to get same fat requirement
you need to eat 3.5kg of tofu vs 1kg of meat to get the same calories requirement

so on average you need to eat more than 3x of tofu than meat to use tofu as a replacement
(triple decker tofu quarter pounder burger instead of a quarter pounder beef burger)

also tofu/soy then requires people to eat 'fortified'(chemically added in manufacturing) soy/tofu products
which as anyone know if something needs to be added via supplements or manufacturing. then obviously the bas product is very deficient in those nutrients naturally

so going full tofu or 'organic soy' (not fortified) can be worse than eating meat.
especially with the lengthier digestion times to convert the nutrients and the larger amounts needing to be consumed, can make you feel uncomfortable

so its about finding a balanced meat and 2 veg diet(portion: meat1:2veg) for the best balanced non fortified/supplemented diet

Considering this it's really weird to see vegans live longer lives on average.
I think there's reasonable suspicion to think it might have something to do with the average vegans healthy lifestyle in contrast to the average meat-eater.

Any discussion is mute.

Politicians distribute public money stolen from the countries residents.
Why would someone use someone elses money on someone elses benefit?
Any group calling controlling public funds will always try to use the money for their own benefit.
That's how it is and how it will always be with public funds.

Monopolies and cartels form only because of the goverment.

That I would agree on. It's no secret that governments tend to intentionally form a monopoly not because they didn't want their citizens to be harm or any hocus pocus reasons of the sorts, but instead, they wanted to take control--not that they are not doing it as we speak but also they intended on doing so thru the market. I've seen this kind of "operation" many times over in my country, they'd even controlled one of the media (tv broadcast, newspaper) so that they would hide an alleged massacre (I'm not gonna go into details).

Quote
The world is too big to be able to use coercion against everyone in order to maintain a monopoly. Free trade eliminates those possibilities.

Sure the world is too big for that, but that said, this so-called "free trade" doesn't entirely eliminates the possibilities. Why? E.g. America is having a conflict with China, IIRC, the trade between countries is way off. So what Trump is doing right now is aligned to his principle, "America is only for Americans", that statement alone "monopolizes" the possibilities of "free trade". I don't know what's his real intentions are, aside from banning some people from Mediterranean countries, I think he's planning on isolating America from the rest if I say so myself.

Limiting the market isn't 'free-trade' it's quite the opposite.
Free trade would mean freedom to trade without goverment interference.
Import fees are not free trade.

Disgusting. Do you think this is where they are getting all those "stem cells" and "placenta extract" for the beauty treatments the rich and famous are paying for? I doubt he's selling these to medical students for dissection. He wouldn't have kept that many.

The rich really are "eating" the poor. These are also the people pushing for people to eat bugs. Bugs for thee, steak for me.

The company buying the fetuses from Planned Parenthood was called StemX I believe, so yes.
My take is he was going to sell them to a simmilar company.

Did he want to profit from the aborted children like Planned parenthood did previously?

There was clearly some shady shenanigans happening here but what exactly went down ?

It's about the account sale, not the post thing.
If the post thing was a scam, OP would just reroute the shipping somewhere he could pick it up since he had the data needed to do that.

(a) but whats so important about this particular video vs other videos
(b) it dont matter. its about a presenter saying something. but dont blame her. she didnt leak it.

What's important is that she said she had a story about a pedophile but ABC told her they don't intend on reporting it.

epstein link to clinton is a known thing from DECADES ago
epstein link to trump is a known thing from DECADES ago
epstein link to a british royal is a known thing from DECADES ago

it aint something of 3 years ago
so th story is basically a video got leaked and someone got fired for leaking a video.
again not about the content of the video

heck i can make a video that says '3 years ago i had evidence of a real pokemon'
the hype this year wont be about pokemon but about that someone who leaked my video of what i said got fired

anyway. now 'the leaker' is gonna be rich.
alot of free time to research and find the OLD REAL info from DECADES ago and then go and publish a book saying what they found was just 3 years ago. then go on book tours and star on 'the ellen show'

What's your point on diminishing this?
Yes, the video itself didn't uncover much but we know the media doesn't want to report on Epstein, and we are positive he didn't kill himself Wink

558  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Why I'm an atheist on: November 10, 2019, 04:42:21 PM

No. You're still avoiding my question, how was physics different?? Or math  Huh

If I seem to be avoiding your question, it's because I wasn't back then to see how it was different. However, BB theory shows that it was different. How does BB Theory show that it was different? Like this.

BB Theory shows us that at the time of BB and for several million years following, the universe was different. Did you catch that? DIFFERENT!!!

The fact that BB Theory doesn't explain how BB times could be different, without math and physics being different, and without "time" being different, shows that BB is just a guess or science fiction story.

BB Theory builds BB up at the same exact time it tears BB down.

I don't think it can be said any clearer. If you can't understand that BB is only a guess from this, it's because you don't want to. And if you don't want to, it's because BB is becoming a religion for you.

Since there is no BB, we only have two choices for how the Universe came into existence:
1. God;
2. We don't know.

God is the stronger choice, because machines have makers. Atheism is simply another false religion.

Cool

So your answer to how was physics different is that you weren't there so you know it was different? - Not exactly. My answer in that direction is that none of us were there. So none of us knows. However, if you are referring to BB Theory, as I said above, BB Theory says that BB is different than how scientists try to express it. That's why the BB of BB Theory doesn't exist.

You're not familiar at all to what the big bang is and how it happened - Nobody is familiar with what BB is and how it happened, and especially, if it happened. BB Theory paints a picture of a BB that BB Theory shows couldn't exist, you deny everything that's not in relation to the biblical explanation - Of course not. The Bible doesn't explain about every blade of grass, or every color of the sky, or lots of things. We observe these things on our own. This isn't the point of expressing that BB Theory shows that its own BB doesn't exist..
You should really consider your life choices and what makes you pick the decisions you pick. - Thank you. I do. Is it wrong to point out flaws in BB Theory that show BB doesn't exist? You sound like I am messing with your BB religion.

Quote
God is the stronger choice, because machines have makers.

You don't think God could have created the Big Bang?

God can do anything. He could easily have created a BB.

But the BB of BB Theory doesn't exist. BB Theory says so... but not in a straight forward way.

Cool

I'm going to ask you a counter question. Since the BB didn't happen because we weren't there to see it,
how do you know Jesus resurrected since you weren't there to see it?

Do you think a centralized 5G tower can exist and that it would be less harmful? lol

Are you talking about the alleged safety of 5G?

I'm unsure what you are talking about. You think decentralization of the 5G network would be harmful because the 5G technology is harmful itself? So I don't see how a centralized network would not be harmful.,

I suppose my ideal state is one where the government is absolutely impartial and acts with no self-interest, where it is there only to serve the population, to ensure equality of opportunity. Is that possible? Who knows, maybe it's an impossible dream.

It's an impossible dream.

Quote
I do still think that governments are important in preventing monopolies and cartels. Not in all cases, sure, but there are many instances of governments stepping in to ensure at least a degree of fairness. You can't deny that it's easier to acheive a monopoly or form a cartel if there is no government to interfere.

Monopolies and cartels form only because of the goverment.

Where are the alcohol gangs today?
Did they exist during the prohibition era? Al Capone etc.?

Cartels only exist because of prohibition. The world is too big to be able to use coercion against everyone in order to maintain a monopoly. Free trade eliminates those possibilities.
