The actual current will depend on how much your voltage is sagging.
Yea, my voltage sags a bit but since the usb hubs rate the ports in amps that's the number I use to dial the stick in to max. for the hub.

minibit did great work again  Cool

we took many of your ideas and suggestions and put them online in antrun v12

check it out Smiley
is there a new website?

the current page says "new website coming soon" - "no content uploaded yet"
Worked for me, looks great with the bestever and bestshare column.  Now we all just need to start solving blocks on cksolo to make things happen. Smiley

Hi,

Is everybod ok with that, that we install google analytics?
We have some uncommon server stats in the page views and we want to investigate more further

Thanks

I run NoScript and don't allow pages to run scripts anyway, so go ahead.  But you won't get any data from me. Smiley

I would be happy to see pictures of people's BITCOIN gpu mining rigs here and the ensuing discussions, but discussion about altcoins have no place in this forum.  If you agree with me, report altcoin posts in this thread.

I'm not a moderator, but I play one on tv.

This thread is about pictures of mining rigs.

545  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: [∞ YH] solo.ckpool.org 1% fee solo mining USA/DE servers 171 blocks solved! on: April 13, 2016, 11:40:00 PM
if you want to use few devices at solo mining , what is the best strategy ? all devices to the same address with workers name ? or each device working on a different address ?
It doesn't have any effect on your chance of solving a block, only a matter of how you personally keep track of stuff.

is there a strategy in rebooting devices some times with solo mining ? or instead should we try to manage to avoid reboot or power cuts ?
The only way you can solve a block is if you are hashing.  Any time your machine is not hashing, e.g. when it is rebooting, you have 0 chance, so that should be self-explanatory.

Really?  Wow, mine at 262.5 freq only pulled 1.0-ish amps.  Running them at 362.5 freq now and they see 2.04 amp.
547  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: [∞ YH] solo.ckpool.org 1% fee solo mining USA/DE servers 171 blocks solved! on: April 13, 2016, 07:06:42 PM
Once the network diff jacked up over like 80G people really got turned off (no pun) from solo mining and stopped.  There's not nearly as many active solo miners as there was just a while ago.  I think the halving could change all of this, but we shall see...

In the mean time, where I live electricity cost means there will never be ROI, so I mostly solo mine just for the chance, however slim, of solving that elusive solo block.

On JB I have now:
0.00154751999999999993

BTC Est. Earnings

But I will only get this when a block is found?

Compacs are running 250 MHz, heatsink is quite hot, they run on the USB 3.0 bus. Should see with USB doctor how much current they draw now.. (av 13.5 GH/S)

Yes, you will only receive a payout from a pool when a block is found.  Any pool, not just bravo mining.  The estimate is made based on the number of shares you submitted vs. the total shares of the pool for that round.

You should have a fan on the compacs at that frequency.  They will be pulling just about 1.0 amps at 250 freq.

Guys, please stop all the alt coin discussion in this topic.  This is the BITCOIN forum, there is an altcoin forum and you are free to start a picture thread there.
550  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Bitfury: "16nm... sales to public start shortly" on: April 13, 2016, 06:54:10 PM
Why do alt coins always seem to find their way into so many bitcoin discussion topics in the Bitcoin part of this forum?

Scrypt has no place in this topic.

Sweet, love the promos!  Makes mining that much more fun.  As long as I mine at home I have to bounce my machines around due to my cost of electricity and day time temps, so right now the Avalon6 is back here until the diff change. Smiley

I'm mining a week @Johhny Bravo's but still no payout; can anyone recommand a pool for a smaller hashrate (90GH/s) or would you go solo?
I am a huge fan of supporting the smaller pools, especially with my little usb "dust farm".  I used to point it to kano.is when that pool was less than 3PH, but it grew to where I no longer received payouts so I switched my usb dusters to bitminter.  It does merged mining, which there are opinions on, but it is a very old and reputable pool at at <4PH I still see payouts from my usb miners.  For my S5 and Avalon6 I use them on cksolo, or Bravo, or BCMonster.

So check around on Johny Bravo's and see if there is a minimum payout setting or ask in the pool's support page.
Bravo does have a minimum payout, but with only 90GH it'll probably take a couple blocks for you to get above it.  Bravo and BCMonster are small pools so they do not find blocks as often as larger pools, but what is kinda cool is that even though they are PPLNS the round lasts for basically 1 block solve, so you'll get paid for all shares submitted.
553  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: Diff thread Apr 1 to Apr 15? picks are closed.... prize = 0.1 btc on: April 12, 2016, 11:12:29 PM
The peak hash for this period is much higher than it has been the previous 3 times it came and went.  For a while there my 7% guess was on target, still might be if more of those machines turn on again in the next couple days.

I hope we can keep playing after the halving, should be easy to crowd fund it.  The problem would be finding one person willing to hold funds and pay out.
554  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: いい antrun.de - Antrouter R1 Fun-Run - compare your share いい on: April 12, 2016, 11:07:52 PM
i think we should only do one: alltime or round-based ... well round-based seems more suitable ...
"lastupdate": 1460440087 should be the value ... or how do we get the info, if the round restarted?

I think you could have both shown, just sort the list by best of round.  The "bestever" value is good bragging rights, but seeing which R1 pulls the highest share per round is a more dynamic experience and I think more about what this fun run is for.  The round restarts when a solo block is solved at cksolo.
555  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: いい antrun.de - Antrouter R1 Fun-Run - compare your share いい on: April 12, 2016, 03:59:18 AM
Does the "Bestshare" column on the web page report best share for the round, or is it reading the best ever share value?  Hopefully it is reporting best round share so it will reset when someone at cksolo solves a block.  In all likelihood the 13G share will be the best for a long, long, long time - that is a better best share than my S5 or Avalon6 have pulled yet.  Smiley
556  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: GekkoScience Compac BM1384 Stickminer Official Support Thread on: April 11, 2016, 10:08:39 PM
when I do this the cgminer quits immediately. What should be the usb <arg> ?

In order to limit the number of usb devices cgminer will initialize to 1, which is what I think you are trying to do, use:
Code:
--usb :1

This doesn't specify which device, but if you only have 1 plugged in it will initialize that one.  Then you can plug in more and this instance will not try to see them.
557  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: BW 14nm Miners Update on: April 11, 2016, 06:44:55 PM
The question is, why have no large mining farms in places like the USA designed their own mining ASICs.
We here in the USA decided it would be a good idea if we got rid of all technical industry and manufacturing that made our country great at one time and let all that tech development occur over seas.

Plus there are no large mining farms in the USA to the scale or in the number that exist elsewhere.

Any News about Ant777? He deleted his post?

Well he solo mines at antpool instead of using ck solo, so imho no harm lost in him going.  No one who care about bitcoin should mine at antpool.

Pointed my Avalon6 here for the rest of today's contest, taking advantage of cold weather and the fact that my thermostat is down at the moment.  Nothing like a little miner heat to keep the chill away.

Pointed my Avalon 6 here for the next ~12 hours until I shut it off for the day time, it gets too hot inside my house.  Go go 3.4TH blockcracker!
