I have the same problem (I left 0.007 BTC in my account though) I don't know if it will fix that but I now have some hope
I looked at the files and: 1) current Sipa's fork doesn't contains MarkConflicting() 2) the commit you are linking to have many conflicts with newer code
So how did you manage to use Sipa's fork? Did you use his version of May 23rd? Anyway, do you mind sharing the modified source you used as it would be easier?

Or maybe the solution is just to have better difficulty adjustment rules. Like continue using a 2016 block sliding window, but adjust the difficulty every 252 blocks instead of only every 2016 blocks. That would help even out the swings somewhat.

generated 2 blocks within the last 2 days at 425mhash/s. that's 3.5 btc. mining btcs i make about 0.25 a day, so i'll keep pushing my luck on solo mining for bitcoins for another 12 days ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) You spent your amount of luck for at least 3 months, you'd better join a pool ![Grin](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/grin.gif)

On my fork: with 0.5586 BTC on my account, i sent 0.55, the client asked 0.001 for fees, and 0.551 were debited, leaving 0.0076 BTC Looks like I kept my bitdust (well, 'broadcasted through 16 nodes' though)

And nothing about that written in the FAQ or settings dialog...

This comes up again and again, and I always say the same thing, and get ignored.
People don't care about paying this tiny fee.
People are upset / confused because it is explained so POORLY, and that many Bitcoin boosters claim "no fees".
Set expectations properly. Explain the fees. People don't mind paying the fee, they just don't like "surprise" fees that they don't understand.
+1 I actually tried to explain there were fees once. No such thing as a free lunch, even in Bitcoin utopia. I got some smart ass reply about being a sheep to the credit card companies. Maybe you'll have better luck. +2 Clearly, +3

ummmm I'm running 0.3.24 beta and if I open the options, by default, it's set at "pay transaction fee 0.00" and it says above that that 0.01 is recommended to make it get processed more quickly. Am I the only one who had it default to that? How badly delayed are transactions that you tack 0 BTC onto? Is it to the point where it's delayed indefinitely or are there so many miners and so little transactions that you're going to get picked up by them regardless or the transaction percentage/flat fee you tack on?
It's 0 in the options but if you try to send a satoshi the client will refuse

Wow, that actually works! Donation sent. It's insultingly small, but it's more than nothing! My first donation, thanks!! ![Grin](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/grin.gif) Maybe one day it will be worth $1 or even more ![Wink](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/wink.gif)

How do you use PCI-E extender cables with an open air rig? That's why I use cases. Usually the PCI-E x1 slot(s) are in the middle, and most extender cables aren't very long...
Never played Tetris?
