561  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Announcement: Bitmain launches AntMiner solution, 0.68 J/GH on chip on: November 26, 2013, 10:18:52 AM
Hey, I replied on the forum and also sent you PM if you need help.  I'll be around for a few more hours as I update the setup guide.

Give me a shout if you want!

HELP!

I just received my unit (won in the first auction).
I've been through the setup as per sushi's instructions but the unit isn't mining!

the Status/Miner Status section just shows "This section contains no values" for everything...  Embarrassed

Is there a button somewhere to press to get it to connect to the pool and start mining???

with the high price the miner was you'd think that Bitmain should be offering 24/7 support for the next 10 years minimum
562  Bitcoin / Group buys / Re: [GROUP BUY EU] #1 Bitmain Antminer U1 USB Erupter [ANN] on: November 26, 2013, 09:32:27 AM
yep, that's similar reply I got from them, and after my suggestions they never replied back.

In case anyone is wondering about customs, each unit is valued at $120 and is labeled "computer accessories"
I bet that's all it cost to manufacture
564  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [SCAM] Is payonix.com a legitimate AISC H/w manufacturer in Australia? on: November 26, 2013, 09:16:22 AM
I hear you, but my first priority is getting my money, Government Departments to be frank are shit at that, It'll take weeks before they start the investigation and they'll take a month off over Christmas.  I've been in business for a while and I've collected money from people owing tens of thousands before.  I'll use my own methods first (Don't ask), Police/Small Claims Court next, Fair trading/toothless tigers last.

Smithy

you could do both at the same time
565  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [SCAM] Is payonix.com a legitimate AISC H/w manufacturer in Australia? on: November 26, 2013, 08:48:25 AM
We all will know tomorrow as they promised to do a demo on tomorrow, if they are saying any excuses this time, we can mark it as a scam and report to all the authorities. Hope andrew also reading this and he dont want us to go to that extend.
Their 5th promised demo ... they've missed 4 already.

At an address that people have already checked and there is nothing there.

Seriously - just forget them.

Easier said than done when they have your money.  I'm still waiting on a refund that was "put through last week".

I wouldn't waist time waiting, the longer you wait the better chances they've got in disappearing.

I'd do it yesterday if I were you.

567  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Swedish ASIC miner company kncminer.com on: November 26, 2013, 08:41:56 AM
COOL, I just noticed they only mention a single model...."Neptune"
This will solve many of the issues selling smaller machines... and make Customer service a breeze!! I really hope that's what it means!...

Heh, I hope Neptune "IS" the smaller model Cheesy
Not a bad idea really......!
one easy size & model to deal with.....

smaller in size isn't a bad idea, but much much bigger/higher in hashing power I hope.

Website http://www.labcoin.com is down...

But, if their pool is hashing away 9.2 TH/S, they must have something good somewhere

yep, they've got a GOOD few million $$$ dollars of other peoples money.

fucking scumbags.. they can't hide forever, and one day someone will recognize them and expose them as low life criminals

to everyone who paid these scmmers any money best thing to report it and do as instructed.
Personally I haven't paid these scammers a cent but thought they need to be reported. It would be best if someone who's actually paid them to lodge this complaint.

this is a reply I got from Brisbane OFT (Office Of Fair Trading).

got the call from UPS regarding customs yesterday (sunday!!!) evening @8p.m. and now it is out for delivery ...
...waiting...

Please take attention that you have to make sure that the LAN interface is working in "DHCP client" mode, before you change the WAN IP address.

Why are you guys ignoring USB buyers? If you are not going to ship the usbs tell me and i will cancel the group buy. Please at least give us a answer

exactly, these guys are trying their best to ignore PM's and emails
I've messaged them few times as you mention when seeing them online, but nothing no answer here also.

They are definately not a professional company, and have proven that many times over.

now open the boxes and show us the bricks inside.  I hope they at least terracotta bricks and not concrete bricks

ha..it is Antminer inside, not concrete bricks...

so whats the problem in showing a photo of actual miner, you took nice photos of cardboard boxes.

you're not helping Bitmain by not sharing the real thing.
maybe you're waiting instructions on opening cardboard boxes

Sure. You can pick them up from me in the US, and Im about 99% sure they will have pickups available Either in HK or China Office. I will ask them and double check.

thanks bobsag3,

I'd rather pickup either China or HK as I'm in Australia and travel frequently there.

I'll wait your response,
Cheers
