561  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Can Altcoin Price Be Good In 2020 ؟ Is it true? on: January 17, 2020, 04:15:56 PM
2020 will be the year of crypto not only altcoin but also bitcoin as well, because the year has started in good note and this is similar to last quarter of 2017 even though we didn't had any crazy bull run as of now but still the value has increased so I personally feel that this is the year of opportunity wherein we need to maximize our earnings with Cryptos.
562  Economy / Speculation / Re: Two Years Ago, Bitcoin Was Over $19,000 — What Happened? on: January 17, 2020, 03:48:31 PM
It's the market cycle like a topic I started a few days ago.  Bitcoin went through a market cycle that had a peak at the end of 2017 and then a crash.  We are probably just starting a new market cycle.

Exactly. What happened is simply the market cycle.
If this is a market cycle then cryptocurrencies doesn't have value anymore. Soon it'll loss its importance, because till date majority of the users believe bitcoin to be entirely different from stocks, forex and other forms of investment where the market change can be predicted easily.

On one hand we are bitcoin is going through a positive phase wherein the value has pumped up but on the other hand we are facing the risk of crypto industry moving towards centralization wherein KYCs are asked for no reason and if this continues then soon people will lose interest because basic concept of crypto was anonymity.
563  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin Can Gain 100% In 2020 - Halving Not Priced In, Says Fundstrat on: January 17, 2020, 03:25:05 PM
Why would I believe to their statement? Is the writer is from the future? He has not have enough evidence to say that. People always getting hype to many prediction that can lead to huge losses. People are too excited on the prediction all ove the internet. It not makes sense after all so it is better if we will just focus on present situation.

You are right, there are many people out there who often predict anything about bitcoin in the future, of course everyone is easy to say anything about bitcoin but no one can predict it exactly. but as long as it predicts about future increases I am always happy to hear it, because I have good optimism about bitcoin in the future. its right, it's better to focus on quantity.

This year had started with positive trend which makes us believe in positive predictions and let's hope this year will be the year of bitcoin after a long bearish market, even I was optimistic about bitcoin until it dropped under $5k so let's focus on reality and consider predictions but not rake action only based on predictions.
564  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin & Centralization on: January 17, 2020, 03:12:39 PM
Perhaps centralization will solve the problem of mass adoption of cryptocurrencies, but then the whole point of using cryptocurrency as a whole is lost. Therefore, the struggle between state regulators and decentralized systems will be long and victory will not be on the side of the state.

Anyway, spreading the scope of legislation related to cryptocurrencies leads to some sort of centralization gradually. Do not be surprised if in the next couple of years authorities would require the same type of identity verification for wallets as now for opening bank accounts.

That's true it's already in progress there are numerous bounty and ICO who don't give out their details but request users for KYC even for bounty participants. I think this is a gradual step towards the centralization which is against the whole concept of cryptocurrency and if this continues then crypto will become just like centralized wallets and digital payment method.
565  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Cryptocurrency will not replace fiat currency on: January 16, 2020, 03:25:49 PM
I also think it might not happen and the main problem is that governments will want to still have a control on the money issued and other people not use crypto, but crypto is a way to fast send money to someone when need and is much way faster than bank transfer.

Yes there is no way that a crypto can replace fiat but still crypto can work in parallel with fiat and nowadays there are lot of stable coins which will be handy for us to make transactions with lightening speed without bothering about fluctuations. Already government and agencies will be losing on their tax and commissions they used to receive while transferring money across borders.
566  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will Monero Be The Best Investment In 2020? on: January 16, 2020, 02:05:04 PM
Monero used to be one of the best coin when it comes to privacy and honestly Monero and waves got so much of hype at one point of time we thought they will find their spot in top 5 coins but it all vanished and now I don't think Monero stands a chance for comeback due to competitors with similar projects.
567  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Hottest alts of 2020 on: January 16, 2020, 11:56:49 AM
Just filter from top altcoins instead of risking with new coins. There are numerous altcoins with great potentials like TRX,  EOS, ADA and most importantly Ethereum as ETH is affordable now so we can bet on ETH as it can give a good return on investment. We often underestimate the worth of ETH let's not do it this time.
568  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: BCH, ETH OR BTC? which coin is best to buy and HODL for 2020. on: January 16, 2020, 08:14:17 AM
At this point in time I would suggest going with ETH as it's still around $160 wherein bitcoin is trending over $8600, If we compare it with last bull run bitcoin might go up to a value of $21k wherein ETH can go till $1000. So if we calculate the profit bitcoin can give x2 return or x2.5 but ETH can give returns upto x6 times. Again this is just my opinion.
569  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will Bitcoin Get Its First Price? on: January 16, 2020, 07:58:23 AM
I don't think any other country apart from Bangladesh has banned bitcoin and taken such severe action lke Bangladesh government did and with the ban in just one country will not have any effect on bitcoin, If you look at the forum you will see Bangladeshis have prospered in this domain and many of them are managing campaigns in this forum. Yes at this particular time we cannot predict if bitcoin will reach the value of $20k or not but we are heading in the right direction.
570  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is Cardano a steal at current prices ? on: January 15, 2020, 04:18:17 PM
ADA fall under the category of XLM, TRX wherein these coins does have potential and have a great concept but still they could not a good value and whenever we see a pump it's quelled with a dump which lasts longer. I think the developers need to figure out the reason for the failure. If they work on it then these coins reach next level.
571  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do scam ICOs really taken to the court? on: January 15, 2020, 08:54:00 AM
Only those who were involved in major scams have been referred to court but still most of the mid level scam projects get away easily as they remain anonymous and hires the entire team through proxies wherein the the management team will be hired on token basis but the culprits will not reveal their identity. I had been approached for something similar in the past.
572  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Price on: January 15, 2020, 08:05:38 AM
It would be a hard decision to make as bitcoin's price is bullish as of now but it might probably go through one more dump before the month of May, I would suggest you do daily trading if you have enough time in order to make some small profits and wait for bitcoin halving for the price to pump.

Do this only if you don't have any further personal commitments wherein you might have to cash out, This is my personal suggestion and again do a bit of research from your end as well and consider other expert's suggestion too.
573  Economy / Economics / Re: Best Stocks to buy this year? on: January 15, 2020, 07:37:31 AM
I think this year is quite risky if we invest in the stock market because at the beginning of this year America has been at war with Iran and this has made most of the shares fall. and before that America was also in conflict with China and made the world recession. by looking at this situation I think investing in stocks is not the right choice. I prefer bitcoin I think is safer and not easily influenced by world politics and economy.
World politics is quite tense with regard to super power and this is indeed affecting stock market. People withdraw their shares and market suffers. Iran and America are still facing issues and it would take months to take things back to normal. The best is to invest into bitcoin or other famous crypto currencies as they are not under the influence of world politics directly.

yes I agree with you for this year I think it would be better to invest in bitcoin than stocks. because bitcoin will be reduced by half and usually bitcoin will increase after bitcoin is reduced by half. and many predict that this year we will enter the bull market and the current condition of the stock market is not too good because of the Iran conflict - America will have a big impact on the stock market.
knowledge - the US will certainly affect the stock market, and investors will certainly want to secure their assets. so most likely bitcoin will be a reference for them. with more and more funds entering the crupto market it will increase demand and raise the price of bitcoin

Do not only focus on bitcoin, there are a lot of coins that can also help you gain profit and money. As you invest in a certain coin, do not focus on 1 coin, spread your money while investing and surely the profit will also come from different coins. We all know that bitcoin is not performing well this year and past 2 years. It is very risky to invest in bitcoin, but if its price goes high again. Congratulations because you've trusted bitcoin. But that will only happens if this year, bitcoin will rise again.

This year there are possibilities for bitcoin to be on top with it's upcoming halving which will create less supply more demand kinda situation wherein the value of bitcoin might reach a new height but yes it's always better to invest in more than one coins. I feel ETH, TRX, XLM as well as EOS will be a better addition to the portfolio.
574  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 67,1% of micro businesses do not know what cryptocurrencies are. on: January 15, 2020, 07:23:14 AM
We need to first think about the reason why merchants and customers are not interested to use crypto as a real-life payment method ((those who are already aware of crypto just like us). I feel they are afraid of further confusion as well as losing out on their value if the market fluctuates as they cannot be dependent on a fluctuating currency to pay and receive their fixed payments. They might about stable coins but not other cryptos.
575  Economy / Speculation / Re: Any further forecast? on: January 14, 2020, 05:59:34 PM
As your topic, this market is unpredictable and no one knows the future. But you still want to listen to the opinions of people here? They, like you, cannot know for sure whether the market has uptrend or not. We only know when things have happened, so don't ask such useless questions. It is better to buy bitcoin if you trust it in the future

Well everyone is aware that the market is unpredictable but the reason I wanted to know their opinion is for the fact that we could compare of further plans with the other user's plan because most of us have been into crypto for years now and using their opinion we could understand where our thoughts sync and what difference do we have from other when it comes to future.  If you find this useless you could have ignored it because now we got one useless post in my thread.
576  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Top 5 cryptocurrencies to invest in 2020 on: January 14, 2020, 08:47:51 AM
Was this post intended just to increase post count or just for the sake of posting anything. I would suggest you to come up with your own top 5 altcoin listing instead of posting a random link wherein there are thousands of similar link which will give different outcome.

Here are my top 5 altcoins:

TRX
ADA
ETH
XLM
EOS
577  Economy / Speculation / Any further forecast? on: January 14, 2020, 08:10:22 AM
People says that the bearish market is over but still some feels that it's a bull trap there will be one more dump before halving, some of them even believes that the bull run has already started. I know the market is unpredictable and nothing can be taken into consideration when it comes to predictions but kindly vouch your opinions about current market.
578  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Which altcoins are you keeping in your bag for 2020-2021 ? on: January 14, 2020, 07:52:11 AM
I am not sure how long will it take for these coins to reach x70 but I see NEO as one of the potential altcoins out of your portfolio as far as I am concerned I have the following altcoins in my portfolio out of which I will be constantly trading whenever there is a fluctuation to avoid missing out of profits.

TRX
ADA
ETH

BNB was a part of my portfolio as well in the past but not anymore.
579  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The Truth That Will Eventually Kill Bitcoin on: January 14, 2020, 07:26:03 AM
Hey either the person who made this video missed out to invest into bitcoin when it was few hundred dollars assuming it's scam and now making this video out of jealousy or else he might have invested at the peak of bull run post which he is yet to get his returns and made this video out of frustration. Kindly ignore this videos.
580  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Weekly Update: Is the BTC bear market over? on: January 13, 2020, 08:15:43 AM
We’ve seen price improvement however we don’t know until when it is. We cannot conclude yet because we’ve seen this movement before in previous months a repeating cycle but hopefully its a different one. We can’t call it a bearish either but these prices are not attracting FOMO’s yet.

This is a tricky situation which can go either ways because we have not seen any sharp dump post this recent pump and at the same time as you have mentioned there are no FOMOs which means that users are smart enough to wait for sometime to analyze the market before jumping into it as they did in the past and end up losing on their capital. We cannot predict anything until halving takes place and we need to be really careful with our investments until halving as there might be more fluctuations in upcoming days.
