561  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling as a profession: there's people who live out of gambling? on: August 12, 2019, 06:18:44 AM
There are professional gamblers, that's what I know. But I am not sure if they are living solely out of their gambling prizes. For sure, even the professionals lose. And as far as I can observe, those who are gambling with high bets have stable sources of huge income. They can spend all their days gambling because they can fully support it. If you are living only on your gambling wins, I doubt if you can sustain your life as a professional gambler. The tide is not always on your side, after all.
Your statement is contradicting mate, if you believe in the existence of professional gamblers, then you should know better that their income is basically from gambling alone, this is the reason they are called professional gamblers. For example, when people ask what for your profession, the first thing that would come to your mind is where your money comes from.

I don’t believe there is anything like professional gambling, those who are making money in gambling are not professional gamblers, they get money from other sources not necessarily from gambling alone. Gambling is unpredictable and no gambler can boast of a stable income from gambling, that means no one can be regarded as a professional gambler.

The term professional gambler applies only to poker players and sports betting, to be clear on that first. I know people that live from that, they make money on other sides too, but from poker or sports betting they make most of the money. Lucky based gambling games are pure luck, most people lose a lot or win a lot when they play these games, it can be fun and interesting, but you can make money on slots constantly.
Poker and betting on sports are different. Skill-based games are games where you can constantly win, or at least most of the time. People are earning millions on poker tournaments and sports betting.
562  Economy / Marketplace / Re: What websites on crypto do you visit everyday? on: August 11, 2019, 06:35:38 PM
I have a list, a huge list. Bitcointalk and twitter are unavoidable, those two are open all the time, along with several exchanges and casinos. I on telegram a lot, too. How to avoid great groups and announcement channels, it`s where I see many good things for the first time.
People who are in crypto for years, who have many cryptocurrencies are focused on crypto, we visit these sites several times per day, we hang out there a lot sometimes. Some of us are fanatics, when I`m online it`s connected with crypto, in 99% of the time.
563  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Longest Winning Streak in a Dice Game on: August 10, 2019, 03:52:42 PM
Some people say that reverse martingale is a much better gambling strategy than ordinary martingale. Instead of increasing your bet size after each loos, the reverse martingale is the opposite of this, you increase it after every win, so if you have a winning streak you can turn it to a massive win.
I never really tried this strategy, like to play it all night and to see how it`s working in reality. After seeing this topic I think I will try it to see how it`s working. I don`t know which bet would be good to start with. As I see it on some gambling forums this strategy is good for chasing higher odds.
564  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoin's future. on: August 09, 2019, 07:00:13 PM
Some altcoins have the future, others don`t. It`s how I see altcoin`s future. We are gamblers on this stage, like others, I invest in many different projects and I hope for the best, but we never know. There are no guarantees, nobody can give you 100% accurate information, we all face some risks and what will happen in the end is yet to be seen.
I`m sure that 20% of all altcoins now have a future. There are more than 3000 altcoins, so at least 600 of them will be profitable, which one nobody knows. I invested in the ones I believe, I suggest others to do the same, invest in what you believe and either zero or moon!
565  Economy / Economics / Re: hackers becoming smarter than exchanges? on: August 09, 2019, 07:41:52 AM
It's really too bad, exchanges have enough funds to covert their security, they can hire top security experts to use the best tools and servers to make sure that hacking will never be an issue because exchange hacking has an effect on the market, it's like we are moving backward, instead of moving forward.

Centralized exchanges are much more vulnerable than decentralized exchanges, that`s why we see so many hacks connected with centralized exchanges. Step forward will be when we start using DEx instead of CEx, because DEx is much safer. I don`t think that are hackers can be smarter than exchanges, they just use the opportunity and in most cases, they have some help from the inside.
Recent hacks didn`t have huge effects on the market like it was the case before. Things are changing as we can see.
566  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How do you store your private keys on: August 08, 2019, 04:30:32 PM
External hard drive and notebook, I have printed keys, passwords, phrases and I put that in my notebook. Two places are safer than just one place, it`s how I see that. If something happens with one of them I always have back up. I learned that in crypto, you always need to have back up, whatever you do, only then you can say that you are safe.
567  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling habits that will cost you on: August 08, 2019, 08:30:18 AM
Anyone who gambles long enough was in situations described by OP, or in all of them. I was in all of them!
1. I canceled withdraw cause it takes to long to process many times, and many times I lost the entire bankroll after doing that.
2. I gambled intoxicated many times, and I`m still doing that. Sometimes it`s good to have more courage to push until the end. This is 50/50, several times I lost good, but there were good wins while I gambled intoxicated.
3. Many years ago I gambled with money that`s not mine and I lost, never again!
4. Accumulators will take you down in 9 of 10 cases!
5. This is the worst from them all, don`t gamble while you are in a negative mood. In most cases, you will lose cause you don`t think with a cool head, and any kind of negativity will be doubled, tripled after losing!
568  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Binance seems to be HACKED once again. KYC documents leaked on: August 07, 2019, 05:36:28 PM
is there any confirmation from Binance about this ?. I don't think binance is easy to hack. if indeed the binance was hacked, then why only KYC data was stolen? why hackers don't take their assets.

Nobody can`t confirm FUD, and this is apparently FUD. As I see BNB is up for 7% and the price is again over $30, why would we see a price rise if there was some problem with Binance? I don`t trade there, but I have some BNB, and I follow price movement. I don`t think there was any leak, it`s probably some joke from competitors, they are trying to slow down Binance progress, but as we can notice they didn`t succeed this time in that. BNB is on the rise and probably we will see BNB at $100 next year.
569  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can Ethereum survive below 0.02 BTC per coin? on: August 07, 2019, 08:18:22 AM
Dont worry too much about ETH. ETH will always survive. As you know ETH is going to change from POW to POS in the near future. which means people is going to buy a lot of ETH.

An upgrade is expected to happen after New Year, ETH 2.0 can bring so many positive things for all Ethereum supporters! Now when the price is fluctuating the best thing we can do is to buy the dip whenever we can. People are waiting to buy, but that`s a mistake, stack some ETH in this dip, when it starts to rise it will be late for making a good profit.
Staking Ethereum will be very interesting, many people hold ETH and we are waiting for this moment to come. Mining is too expensive, with staking Ethereum will make huge progress, many people looking forward to that.
570  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Do traders make more money than holders? on: August 06, 2019, 11:30:43 AM
Yes, of course, bigger traders benefit from the holders Their holders only keep tokens or coins existing, while their sword seeks to spin all the coins they have in order to produce each token that is traded,If we have the criteria to master both of them you can do as a sword and a holder because they both have the same advantages,

Man if you hold Dash, IoTeX, BTC2, Veil, or any other staking coin you can earn a lot just with holding/staking. Trading is risky from the start, in any moment you can lose what you have, your amount can start to shrink if you get into couple bad trades. With holding you don`t have such problems, staking is the safest way to earn something with the lowest possible risk.
And in the end, both are profitable, which one more depends on several factors, how much you invested and what kind of set up you are running.
571  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Man won 12 times in lottery on: August 06, 2019, 08:07:07 AM
The answer to this is because the prizes are too big so he can not distract his mind to other things. The video will not show how many tickets he bought because that will not make people interest with the lottery. Perhaps, we only saw some tickets from him, but I guess that will be more than 100 tickets and I think he spends a lot of money. The truth from this is we cannot win easy the lottery without having luck, but it seems, people don't realize about that, and they still hoping to win the prize from the lottery. Yes, million dollars will be needed to win the game, and we don't realize how much money we spent in the end.

My friend, not 100 tickets, here we speak about million tickets at least. Check around, people have tried this already, and they did the math.
The Mega Millions jackpot is up to $1.6 billion. 302,575,350 possible combinations of Mega Millions numbers. At $2 for each ticket, then, it would be possible to buy every possible ticket for $605,150,700.

How MIT Students Won $8 Million in the Massachusetts Lottery? The math whizzes quickly discovered that buying about $100,000 in Cash WinFall tickets on those days would virtually guarantee success. Buying $600,000 worth of tickets would bring a 15%–20% return on investment.
Source: http://newsfeed.time.com/2012/08/07/how-mit-students-scammed-the-massachusetts-lottery-for-8-million/

Even if you have so much money, buying tickets would still be a problem, you can`t buy all of them in one place! The machine generates some amount of tickets per hour (I found information around 50 tickets per hour) if you need millions of tickets you will need many people going around buying tickets for all 5 days of the week.
572  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Should i quit on joining bounty campaign? on: August 05, 2019, 09:59:57 AM
so far, I feel that there are still enough bounties that deserve to be followed. the problem is we need to choose a project that is truly appropriate and good to support. that way, we can get a bounty that is worth. for now, I don't recommend that, unless you have another job.

Some people should spend more time on project researching before they actually join bounty. I agree with you, my friend, there are very good projects around, these projects deserve to be followed and supported. Many people do bounties, they spread the word about the project, but after the end of bounty, they dump what they got from bounty and they stop with support! If anyone wish project to succeed should continue supporting it even after the end of the bounty.
573  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Man won 12 times in lottery on: August 05, 2019, 06:33:06 AM
Not worth the risk. No matter how many tickets you buy or how many lottery syndicates you join, the odds against the player are massive. It's still a big gamble. Too many people have spent years and tens of thousands of dollars chasing that elusive big win, only to die poor. No thanks. I'm not sold.

Yes, of course, that is not worth if we don't know or don't have good skills in cracking the code like that person. But if we have high-skills like him, I guess we will try to beat the system, and with our skills, we will try hard and perhaps, we have a chance to win like him. But still, that will be too risky for us because we can get caught by the system and that will be dangerous to us because we can get jail. I won't do that thing too like you because besides I don't have the skills to crack the code, I know that if I want to play or buy the lottery, I will need much money and that doesn't guarantee for me to win the prizes.

What people don`t understand is that for every system you need a lot of money to run it, there`s a minimum investment to cover basics and there`s always maximum investment to cover everything. If you noticed in the entire video we didn`t see how many lottery tickets he bought for every lottery, he didn`t win with just one ticket, he needed combinations, and more combinations mean more tickets, more tickets mean higher investment. He only states that you need to calculate possible combinations and lottery prize needs to be at least 3 times as big as the number of combinations. For a lottery that has 37 numbers, you need millions of dollars!
574  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: why did you choose altcoin? on: August 04, 2019, 01:01:07 PM
I choose altcoin because of lower transaction fees. I gamble and trade a lot, so I make transactions every day, I don`t like to pay high fees so I use altcoins. There is one more benefit from choosing an altcoin, it`s potential of the coin to rise in terms of price in the long run. Saving some altcoins on a side and waiting for that rise can turn to be a very profitable investment, some altcoins have a chance to rise x100 in the next couple years. Some altcoins have very low transaction fees and very fast transactions. Comparing that with some slower coins that cost more to send this is a very good thing, I use more altcoins in past years than bitcoin or some other top coin!
575  Economy / Economics / Re: Crypto Scams are a global issue on: August 03, 2019, 05:56:14 PM
Scamers are a global issue. Some people are to stupid to understand the simplest scam schemes.
More stupid people = more scammers

It`s like that, I totally agree with you about people, some people fall even on the simplest scams, they don`t even do basic research where they invest, they do it without any thinking, and when someone invests like that most likely that person will be scammed very often.
Everything connected with cryptocurrencies is a global thing. Cryptocurrencies don`t have borders like fiat currencies!
576  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Is bounty campaign profitable in 2019 or no? on: August 02, 2019, 06:10:17 PM
yes, you can still get some money from bounties, it's just that most bounties now always get old results because they do a lot of locking tokens, distributing bounties a few weeks after the bounty ends, and the rest are not directly listing in the market even if this listing problem if we get Very bad projects can take up to 6 months to get their tokens listed.

Every bounty is different, which is a normal thing, every project is trying to find the best way to fund their projects and they come up with different goals and rules. I`m glad that more people find bounties still profitable, I`m one of them. Choosing bounty is the hardest part, many people jump into a new project without doing simple research about the project and team behind. People should spend more time on that and they will have better results in the end.
577  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How do you determine potentiality of any Altcoins? on: August 01, 2019, 11:09:52 AM
My answer is a community behind some coin. Take a look at this forum, for example, it`s made for bitcoin supporters and here you can see how strong bitcoin community is. You can judge any project by the strength of the community, only with that project can make a progress, without it doesn`t have perspective. A community can be big or small, don`t judge it by the size, get into it, talk with people, devs, and you will see how strong they are, and how they handle with problems. If they are good then stay with them no matter what!
578  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does gambling affect your overall lifestyle? on: August 01, 2019, 07:10:09 AM
Gambling, you can control it, or gambling can control you. It`s not good when you don`t have control over your actions, that`s not good in any case, especially in gambling. If you don`t control yourself you can lose a lot of money, with losing a lot of money many other problems will appear. A proper bankroll manager isn`t good just for gambling, you need to know how to take care of your money, your incomes, and your expenses. Bankroll management is essential if you are a gambler, trader, investor, and before you get into the fire with big amounts try to learn more about bankroll management.
Gambling doesn`t affect my lifestyle in a negative way, cause I never spent more than I can afford to lose. Gambling is entertainment, I win and lose, I have fun doing all that. If I notice that gambling starts to affect my life in a negative way, I would think about leaving it for good.
579  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What are some things all gambling websites/apps/games should have? on: July 31, 2019, 10:46:25 AM
For Poker sites I think spin & go tables should be absolutely essential.

Not everybody has time to sit down and play 50 hands over the course of several hours, spin & go allows those of us with little time on their hands to still rack up some good wins by bashing the fish.

In addition to this, they should have multiplier type spin & go tournaments so we can compete for a grand prize.

Like 888 have? I never had the luck to win some big prize in spin & go, and I played it a lot! It`s nice when there is a variety of games, I always try everything and if I like it I play it a lot. Every casino should work on adding more games and improving existing ones. If they do that with promotions, and different contest prizes they can attract more people.
Since I gamble for Tron coins and I have some dividends from that, I think that every casino should have it. In some way, you always get something back, which is a nice thing if you gamble a lot as I do.
580  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: My Alt Portfolio on: July 31, 2019, 05:48:13 AM
I see you make a good investment so far and there's many good and potential coins in your portfolio. You make a good job in your investment.

He chose some really good coins, but I don`t like all the coins from his list, for some of them I never heard until now. Ethereum is missing, stellar, digibyte, lisk, dash, and many other coins that I like and own, and I think portfolio can`t be complete without these coins.
I`m working on my portfolio for years, and there is no stopping now. Anyone who has a crypto portfolio faces the same problem all the time, adding new coins or accumulating existing ones. What is better to do here is an individual decision, who have money can do both and that`s the best thing to do.
