561  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] ⭐ Snowgem ⭐ Launched – Equihash – No Premine – No ICO on: December 28, 2017, 10:35:35 AM
Compiling from soource is failing due to lots of dependencies can't be downloaded by zcutil/build.sh - can you fix that ?

Bump

were you able to do it? waiting for your pool to be operative, other look shady as fuck, also dev didn't provide a normal gui wallet, i see a jar extension that look fishy...

Is anyone from the Bitcore team also involved with Pinkcoin? From the looks of the graphics that seems to be very possible Grin

the team involved here is from the old bitcoin team, it's not scammy dev going around with scammy project, that's why this one look solid

What old bitcoin team?  I don’t recognize any of the devs.

isn't linux dev from the old bitcoin team? he said so early in this thread, that at least he worked on the bitcoin dev team
563  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Can I make profit by CPU mining ? on: December 28, 2017, 06:38:33 AM
there is a possibility to do cpu mining rig, see verium thread, but it's not so profitable, but not bad either, i think you can do some profit, with zoin or verium other coin have gpu competition

565  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Best gpu for ethos?? on: December 27, 2017, 12:54:22 PM
For ethos ? or for mining generally.
For eth good nvidia gpus, Best ROI for 1060GTX
You need any mobo wich work with selected numbers gpu you want to instal in rig, any cpu 4gb ram and look seriously for PSU. Calculate power consumption of your hardware and add 100watts to reserve
What do you think which coin should I mine?
Which motherboard is necessary for this budget?
And which power supply unit I should select?

buy a 1070 rig motherboard the old good h81 pro btc is good enough, or the new one that support 12 gpu to have the possibility to expand later, the power supply for 6 gpu could be a simple 1000 watt for 12 a 1500 with lower TDP
566  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Mining rig with 12 GPU on: December 27, 2017, 12:53:06 PM
first of all you don't mine ETH with nvidia, so you need amd here, second you are okish wit the 1500 watt for 12 gpu, if you underpower them a bit, they do 120watt x 12 it's there...
567  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: CCminer(SP-MOD) Modded NVIDIA Maxwell / Pascal kernels. on: December 27, 2017, 07:29:09 AM
The current speeds in the x17 beta mod:

gtx 1060 9MHASH
gtx 1070 12.5MHASH
gtx 1070ti 14MHASH
gtx 1080ti 21MHASH

I see improvement on all my cards compared to the fastest opensource miners.
Some cards have around +5% and other cards have more.

Not decided what to do with the mod yet. I need to add another 5%. Alot of code, so I think It can be done with more work.

alexis78 gtx 1070

is that the old alexis 1.0? or another new more recent version?
568  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: CCminer(SP-MOD) Modded NVIDIA Maxwell / Pascal kernels. on: December 26, 2017, 06:26:24 PM
is the alexis miner the fastest on the verge algo?
There are 5 algos. Which one are you talking about?

yeah x17 of course

what's with the 1 bitcore for every address? there is any restriction for it? if i had 1000 address i would receive 1000 bitcore? seems a joke...
571  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Connecting a new rig to another computer on: December 25, 2017, 06:41:11 AM
Yes I’m trying to have everything set up to one monitor I have a computer I’m using to mine right now but I wasn’t sure how to pair the rig up to the other computer. Would it just be an Ethernet cable or some other kind of hdmi connection? Also do I need to buy Microsoft 10 for the rig or could I just clone my os over onto the ssd drive. I plan on using 6gpus and the rig hasn’t been built yet I’m just asking out of speculation.

just use teamviewer, with lan connection not connection to their server, and you are done, and yes better to buy another cheap copy at ebay of windows 10
572  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] ccminer 2.2.2 - opensource - GPL (tpruvot) on: December 25, 2017, 06:38:37 AM
why the connection on yiimp go down every two three days? someone is ddossing the pool or what?
573  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Bitcoin Interest - Fork 1:1 of Bitcoin - Decentralized Savings Community on: December 24, 2017, 06:46:52 AM
Another fork? Nice.
Any one have calculated the price of all the forks combined?

all these fork have no big value the only one that matter is bitcoin cash which is behind ETH, bitcoin gold is much smaller for example, and still below bitcoin capitalization

In my opinion and understanding, this coin has an only little effect on bitcoin's price and as well in other big names like ETH. So BI is just like bitcoin's little nephew.

Bitcoin's nephew? More like that distant relative who shares the family name but has like no relation to the main family. Atleast BCH might share some relation with BTC enough to be called a branch family lol
May I know the relations between BCH and BTC? I am reading a lot of propaganda recently where they are trying to encourage more BTC holders to transfer to BCH.

I like this new fork, I already read an advertisement in a mobile app about it so I think they are really serious about this. The fact that they are going to make an interest and savings program make it more interesting. I'll be watching this thread for further details and updates!

well BCH is the first strongest hard fork of bitcoin, it has big chinese pool support, that's why they are encouraging to use it
574  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Am I doing this wrong? First time mining Verge but no desktop wallet ! on: December 24, 2017, 06:45:19 AM
try to mine on yimp, you have better income there, and it's far easy too set, just need your address
575  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: ASrock H110 Pro BTC+ 13 GPU Board on: December 23, 2017, 06:53:41 AM
Just ordered one from ebay.

What are the best cards to start mining eth on this with?

i’ll buy 4 cards first then scale up, wish me luck!

I currently have 10 zotac amp extreme 1070ti running on one of these boards, works well and can't say I have any trouble with it.

i would prefer the super jetstream if you are not planning to buy big beast like 1080, the cooler is one of the best for lower TDP gpu

577  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Making 2000 usd / month on: December 22, 2017, 11:28:54 AM
1 rig currently with the bitcoin downtrend can not earn you 1000 per month, unless it's a 1080ti rig, maybe some pumped coin can give you that in the short time
578  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: CCminer(SP-MOD) Modded NVIDIA Maxwell / Pascal kernels. on: December 21, 2017, 11:25:53 AM
bitcore it's better imho, it has big airdrop interest, and with your mod, it's on top of the profit

The best sp-mod today is the blake2s mod. (verge) The profit is more than $20 per 1080ti card..
x17 is much better )) but all pools suxx )) solo rules got $50/day per gtx1080ti

you need big luck for solo with current nethash, unless you have a big farm...

only because they are pumping, it was the same with bitcore two weeks ago when it was 0.0046

Best algo/coin for nvidia now ? ( for day profit ) .

Alot of options now. Many coins give a good profit. Did you try bitcoin gold?
