This was new to me too. I always thought for any deletion except it from a thread created by others and if it gets deleted, then you get notifications.

I think in this case we need to have this feature too to have a PM for a thread of yours get deleted. OP, the only hope I see is to contact Coinbase support and push them as much as you can. If you do not hear from them or if you are really not seeing much progress then create a scam accusation against them. This will help to create awareness.

It's not a small amount of money at all. Coinbase should do some exceptions in this case.

I think when we see all hose GS then their we do not have another match to prove the true strength of a player since those are knock out type. A player is playing really good but in a bad day they are out of the league because of poor performance.

Tournament like this are more interesting where you have groups and from their go for play offs.
