581  Other / Meta / Re: [LN?] On-chain transaction fees are too high to pay for evil fees on: January 03, 2024, 09:44:35 AM
+1, A good idea. I started receiving fewer messages compared to the past. I don’t know if the number of users being banned due to Proxyban is less or if the number of logins has decreased, but that may be appropriate. I tried purchasing a Copper membership and got an address that starts with 3, so upgrading to bc1 may reduce the fees for the forum.
582  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Achieving a goal on: January 02, 2024, 09:44:57 AM
You want about 8 times the amount in about 12 months and without risk or loss of part of the amount. Getting such a guaranteed investment is too good to be true, so beware of anyone who may offer you an investment opportunity like this.
If you invest in Bitcoin, it will be possible to get X3 or X4 profits during the next 18 months, but more than that is a little difficult.
583  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: You want to make USDT transaction, check transaction fee across chains on: January 02, 2024, 09:34:36 AM
...
This website can be useful but just look at that Tron piece of shit blockhain... it has higher transaction fees than ethereum now and it's so complicated to use for any newbies, with stupid staking, energy, bandwidth, etc.

I wouldn't recommend keeping USDT long term on any chain, but I think people should consider using L-USDT and L-BTC on Liquid network.
Transaction fees are much lower, they can be confidential, and there is 36,561,000.00 L-USDT and over 3,749 L-BTC at the moment:
https://liquid.network/

Polygon network also seems to be cheaper than Ethereum, but it seems that we will move to layer 2/3 applications where these tokens are reasons to use those layers. I preferred DAI as it is a little decentralized and more linked to USDC, which seems less likely to collapse than USDT since Coinbase has better reserves and a safety factor than USDT.
584  Economy / Economics / Re: 2024 & Prediction of World War III - Effect on Cryptocurrencies on: January 02, 2024, 09:06:53 AM
World wars are causes of change with violent and destructive effects, and no one can predict what things will be like after the war, but after the spread of nuclear weapons, countries will be more careful to avoid such wars.
Expectations for the year 2024 are optimistic, as historically there have been many reasons for the price to rise. Therefore, it is assumed that the price will rise and that a break of the old ATH may occur.
585  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Master the Art of Crypto Trading with These 5 Simple Tips on: January 02, 2024, 08:47:07 AM
If you are ready for both up and down, that means you are going to be fine, even if you pick the wrong side, you could always get out without having too much loss and that should always be the most important part.
In other words, base your plan on the worst scenario, which is the expected bottom, since no matter how bad the circumstances are, it is unlikely that we will return again to the point of 15.6k, and it is unlikely that we will be less than 60k in the coming years, so base your calculations on the amount of Bitcoin being 60k and any up values is profits.
586  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Today is 2024, We Need a New Breakthrough, bitcoin is calling you Hey Genius on: January 02, 2024, 08:26:22 AM
1. does taproot have to be closed?
2. Create a small address than segwit?
As long as taproot is a soft fork, nodes has to choose, but since miners benefit from high fees, what causes them to reduce their profits? anyway There will be improvement in the coming days due to cluster mempool[1]

3. Upgrade size? (I am surprised when look Ilcoin have 5 GB block size)
There was an in-depth discussion ---> Why was the block size not increased? several days ago. You can follow all the reasons and arguments why increasing the block size is not the final solution, especially since the Bitcoin block size has been increased via softfork.

Maybe someone should take up donations for development of a new forum.  Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy
Regarding funding, what is new about ---> Forum funds, especially since @DarkStar_ is no longer active, and I also see that 24 Bitcoins were spent several weeks ago.

588  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Master the Art of Crypto Trading with These 5 Simple Tips on: January 01, 2024, 04:12:21 PM
Unless you are a professional and know why you want to trade, most likely, no matter how profitable your trading is, your investment in Bitcoin will continue to decrease. It is true that some currencies, especially bump/dump coins, achieve good profits in the short term, but their value soon decreases against USD, so trading is not a way to make a quick profit or for those who don't know what they're doing.
589  Other / Meta / Re: Mixers to be banned on: January 01, 2024, 03:54:52 PM
P.S. The wallet you are advertising in your signature space (ie. Wasabi) cooperates with blockchain analysis companies (aka anti-privacy organizations) while claiming to "pro privacy"!
When Chainalysis was questioned in court, they admitted that their analyzes are not 100% accurate and cannot be relied upon to bring charges[1], so I believe that blockchain analysis companies claim to be good at identification but they are just sucking money from government.

In general, thank you. It is my first day and I will try to change my campaign as soon as possible.

590  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: CGMD miners redefine passive income opportunities with innovative cloud mining on: January 01, 2024, 02:48:26 PM
100% SCAM. Wrote as a victim.  Cry
Sorry for your loss but what prompted you to use them? There are actually 3 negative trust, the site was created recently, and there is nothing to make you believe them. Such scammers are lazy. If it doesn't harm your privacy, post the transaction ID and we may help you trace it. If your coins reach a central service and local laws are cooperative, you may be able to freeze or recover your money (you don't have a good chance, but it's okay to try).
591  Economy / Reputation / Re: What's the ratio of possibilities for me on: January 01, 2024, 02:10:36 PM
Our CEO is in real estate, and he knows a lot about programming and civil engineering, even though he is a graduate of medical laboratories, and many people changed their specialization after their bachelor’s degree from engineering to marketing, law, or even medicine. Therefore, learning is not related to the university degree, although I believe that the information provided by @o_e_l_e_o goes far beyond The average knowledge that any average joe has about Bitcoin but always learn to research everything and check it.
592  Other / Meta / Re: Mixers to be banned on: January 01, 2024, 01:58:26 PM
I locked all of the mixer ANN threads I saw, and I put in a number of wordfilters. If I missed any threads, please use "report to moderator".

I think it's time to start serious discussions on how to decentralize the forum, move away from Cloudflare/US servers, or at least reduce the impact of regulatory decisions on the forum.

596  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [exit scam waiting to happen] [banned mixer] self-vouching | Type 1 Flag on: December 31, 2023, 06:54:28 AM
In other words, they say that the mixer cannot mix 10 bitcoins, otherwise they would not need this “marketing ploy,” especially since the link between addresses became easy when doing such mixing.
Personally, I see this behavior as meaning that something bad will happen. flag supported + negative trust.
597  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What will be your trading strategy for crypto in 2024? on: December 27, 2023, 09:59:08 AM
Investing in more altcoins means that you are sinking deeper into quicksand and there is no one to save you. Investing in altcoins is not a diversification of investments, but rather a multiplication of the opportunity to grow your investment portfolio. You can trade in altcoins, but long-term investment is a loss of your money.

Diversify investments by purchasing gold, stocks, real estate, Bitcoin, and anything that has a value and can gain upward growth.
598  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What would have been the best pc you could have purchased back in 2008 ? on: December 27, 2023, 09:49:03 AM
Most of the discussions related to Bitcoin in the early days are here. All you need to do is scraping data from mining boards[1][2][3] and then analyze the names of the hardware and devices that were mentioned during 2010 to 2013.

599  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can you recommend reliable virtual credit card for paying bills (no KYC) on: December 27, 2023, 09:27:28 AM
All of them are prepaid cards that come in small amounts, not exceeding $500 in most cases, and are sold at a high price. You need to buy new cards every time. In addition, you need a PayPal account with which identity verification has been completed, and you risk linking cards that may be hacked or stolen to an account. It contains your personal information, which may expose you to some legal problems.
If you want to complete card verification, it may work, but the risks are greater.
600  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: QChartist Finance Portal on: December 27, 2023, 09:07:23 AM
The last time the code was updated was 8 years ago, which is a long time ago. At that time, the algorithms used to predict Bitcoin were not advanced. The size of the program is large and there are thousands of services supported by artificial intelligence.

I don't want to be a disappointment, but you won't find many users.
