581  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 💩 We are now in the “shitcoin” season? 💩 on: January 13, 2020, 07:53:52 AM
This is the problem why most of us can see a declining market and couldn't help the market grow even further. That is because we are mostly focused on waiting for the season, that we, are also the one creating. If no one initiates the hype about this, they didn't buy and sell, and stays inactive which in fact, we didn't care about the true value of cryptocurrencies.

What is a better way to do is to make use of cryptocurrencies without considering to buy or sell in a particular season, see the value of crypto and use it wisely.

Yes, I agree with your statement wherein even the slightest dump will create more FUDS causing panic selling throughout the market which causes further damage than the real dump as this increases the supply and reduces the demand. But only a long term investor can use cryptocurrency without considering the buy/sell season because mid and low-level investors like us tend to buy at less so that we can yield good amount of profit in short span and crypto market itself is set on this basis hence we cannot do much rather than being wise with our decisions.
582  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Iran has made a huge mistake and the world will pay a price for it. on: January 13, 2020, 07:31:52 AM
I am not surprised at the decision made by US which all started with the assassination of the Irani general who was hailed as hero by one sent of Muslims wherein as a war criminal by the other sect and so this time it will Iran whose economy will be collapsed and if they go at war then they will be doomed back to stone age and whole world will feel the wrath of economic slowdown and raise of inflation for a short period of time but as much as predicted.
583  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Let's make mining sustainable on: January 13, 2020, 07:17:15 AM
Currently, mining is not profitable in most of the countries except few regions where electricity is cheap and anyway most of the miners have stopped it due to huge loss incurred and I am one of them as we had set up a small mining farm with around 60 GPU but ended up with huge loss which is yet to be recovered. We need some innovative machines for mining as you have described but this is not the reason for climate change.
584  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Incase of any change in bounty. on: January 13, 2020, 07:04:09 AM
Social media campaigns should be stopped because most of them are fake accounts with a display picture of some models or hot girl in order to gain followers and friends, there is no use of such fake accounts in order for marketing because it will not reach the target audience. But some of the bounties have instead removed the signature campaign instead of social media campaigns.
585  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: War affects the Entire Cryptocurrency? on: January 12, 2020, 09:17:44 AM
War is just one of the factors which will affect crypto just like whales and other global event but the value of crypto cannot be entirely affected by war. Those who things war will increase the price of crypto often tends to forget that it makes the commodities expensive as well so there no benefit from war except for those who sells weapons.
586  Other / Beginners & Help / Crypto is not a get rich quick ponzi on: January 12, 2020, 08:43:19 AM
The reason I have come up with this topic now is for the fact that the value of bitcoin has been good from past one week or so and this is the time when most of the newbies end up buying at peak assuming they will get huge return on investment very quick just like they thought for 2017 bull run without understanding how crypto works and ended up being the losers or panic sellers. I urge everyone to take a moment and do research before investing.
587  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Thoughts on my portfolio please on: January 12, 2020, 08:28:34 AM
Good choice when it comes to altcoins as you have chosen worthy altcoins but you need to balance the percentage of coins you are holding, I would suggest  you to go with at least 50% - 60% bitcoin and remaining 40 to 50% need to be altcoins because whenever the value increases it's bitcoin go get large share of increase.
588  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC to 5000$ before a big rise ? on: January 12, 2020, 08:08:47 AM
As far as I believe there will be one more dump for sure before the expected bull run due to halving. But again it's just my personal opinion as everyone has a different opinion and their own research but the funniest thing about the market is that it doesn't follow any pattern and it just changes as per world affairs affecting crypto and one of the finest example would be this year as everyone though the market will go down during new year  season but it didn't.
589  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoin Bleeding on: January 11, 2020, 06:25:55 PM
Can we say have ended time for altcoin raise to higher price? although bitcoin can growing up with higher price change about 10% but altcoin looks down and never care about what happen with bitcoin could up to higher price, exactly when bitcoin down altcoin without get permission can be down and more extremely than bitcoin price down.

No altcoin will rise and there are so many great project in altcoin which are better than bitcoin in terms of peer to peer transactions but when it comes to stability it will always to Bitcoin.  But we should never underestimate altcoin and their uses because altcoins will be future start ups to provide the the technology of future. If you are only concerned about the price then there were coins like Dogecoin which got pumped for no reason without a solid project wherein other important altcoin projects failed.
590  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin going beyond $14,000 before May, history repeating itself on: January 11, 2020, 06:09:36 PM
Such threads gonna lead to more speculation which in turn will make people FOMO and this would lead to a price rise. I don't think that this rise will halving as the basis. It will be more of euphoric rise. People speculating and buying in. Halving is indeed a big thing for Bitcoin but it won't matter much if you only focus on supply and demand. But the price prediction surrounding it can change the sentiments to the great extent.

Yes these thread will definitely create FOMO amongst new users but I have been into crypto for years and this time even I feel the market will repeat 2017 due to halving and it's after affect but this particular pump will not last longer as it now looks like a trap in order to dump the market hard before the halving.
591  Economy / Speculation / Re: Dont let them fool you. We will see a NEW BOTTOM. $5000 per BTC soon. on: January 11, 2020, 05:19:20 PM
Let's make sure we don't fall in trap again so we need to have a fixed target in mind for buying as well as cashing out, don't just get carried away by FOMO as 2017 and 2018 should be a learning curve for us. I don't think bitcoin will hit a new bottom value but again it might go back to $6k. Better to say active and not to invest right now as it might  prove fatal but we could invest if we see a further dump before halving.
592  Economy / Economics / Re: Iran/US tension's effect on crypto and economy ? on: January 11, 2020, 04:54:27 PM
Today Iran actually apologized for the fall of the plane and they said they unintentionally dropped it which means there was a passenger flight that was shot down by Iran and that usually is something you get consequences for.

Now, nobody wants a war with Iran, not even USA because there is nothing you can make out of it, at the very best of chances you will fight with Iran, drop the president, put a puppet government there and take insane amounts of money out of Iran and into USA, however that would destabilize middle east even further and you have yourself another expensive war that you will have to pay for anyway, which means all that profit you made will go out of your pocket once again and will be for nothing.

However, how nations will react to this plane thing is different, war is something else, killing innocent people is different, we have to wait out and see what nations will say about it. Specially Canada and Ukraine because they had the two of the biggest casualties.

I don't understand how Iran can be ok with this "unintentionally dropped a foreign plane with innocent people" official statement.
Anyway this conflict somehow made btc to rise above $8000 and this horrific event lead to greed

That's really sad and painful that innocents who has nothing to do with this US/Iran tensions has to pay a heavy price as it was a cold blooded murder. Bitcoin's price depends on anything which has to do with it's adoption as well cash outs and this event turned our to be adoption event wherein people converted their stock market shares into bitcoin afraid of further escalation and stock loss.
593  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: Best Cryptocurrency Exchange 2020 on: January 11, 2020, 04:44:53 PM
No you cannot just judge an exchange to be based just on transaction speed as there is a lot we need to check like efficiency, security and all. I would say Binance would be best exchange if we look at these aspects and nobody can deny the fact that Binance is secure and best exchange.
594  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: will the price of LTC peak again in 2020? on: January 10, 2020, 06:11:59 PM
Litecoin should have already made progress as it's one of the primary Cryptos but unfortunately there has been no progress post 2017 pump and dump. I am still skeptical about any further developments when it comes to litecoin and I think it's not worth risking in litecoin now as we have better altcoins to invest nowadays.
595  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How much should i trust crypto Youtuber? on: January 10, 2020, 05:51:22 PM
Mate, never believe anyone when it comes to crypto because expert's opinion has become worthless nowadays so there is no point in believing in you tubers who might have lesser knowledge than most of us or even if they have knowledge then still market will not go as per the predictions that's the rule number one for crypto as it's highly volatile and market trend depends of various factors.
596  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin still or altcoins on: January 10, 2020, 05:33:45 PM
Bitcoin is indeed the safe investment when it comes to crypto but there are certain altcoins which could provide a better return on investment if things go well. I would suggest to go with bitcoin alone if you don't want to experiment but investing in potential altcoins will be worth experimenting because we have seen lot of altcoins yielding good profit.
597  Economy / Speculation / Re: Are we getting a pump and dump for this month? on: January 10, 2020, 05:22:46 PM
Still have chance for bitcoin back to lower price when Chinese new year coming and bitcoin investor come from China will sell their assets for celebrating their new year and make bitcoin looks down, the same with Cristmas day I think bitcoin back with lower price because Chines new year always give impact for bitcoin going down what happen like last Chinese new year.

Yes market is really wild and there are chances and further dumps as well because this recent pump might be a bull trap as well. We need to be really carefully before investing or cashing out, because what if we see a repeat of 2017 again. But facing a further dump before the bitcoin halving is inevitable.
598  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will bitcoin hit 15K in 2020? on: January 09, 2020, 09:29:53 AM
Looking at the pace which the bitcoin is trending there is no doubt about it and yes bitcoin will cross the mark of $15k if the same trend continues for couple of more weeks which will be a good sign after a long bearish market. But at the same time we need to be focused on it as there are chances of sudden dump as well so it's better to remain cautious to take appropriate action if we witness any dump.
599  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Too much projects, good projects cant reach crypto ethusiasts on: January 09, 2020, 08:06:46 AM
Trust me the market and forum was not like this before 2016 as r here were no shifty projects but now as you said it's filled with similar projects without any uniqueness. As a result I have seen good projects failing to perform or stand out because it's really hard to search the good projects as they are lost in the barrage of scam projects. But now since people have started losing hope in ICOs hence we can expect the market to be saturated once again.
600  Economy / Speculation / Re: Brace yourselves, there is FOMO coming on: January 09, 2020, 07:44:10 AM
as we entered 2020 and the first week is coming to an end, price has picked up and started heading towards $10k as it was expected before.
like all the previous times i again expect another FOMO to start due to this rise that would bring the price up in a sudden and big move. the only question remaining is about when it is going to start.

we saw a small version today as price jumped up from $7300 to $8300 but that is the small FOMO. i think we can see price easily jump up above $10k when it starts.

No doubt it had been a terrific start for 2020 wherein we expected for a slowdown which happens every year during new year but this year it was different and when it comes to FOMO this is the right time for anyone to invest rather than waiting for the value to go down or reach the peak because some of us made foolish decision in 2017 to invest when BTC was around $20k then ended up with panic selling when the market dropped.
