581  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: OMG !!! Peter Schiff was right, again............. on: September 09, 2020, 01:37:01 PM
OP, you only tell when Peter Schiff is right and never want to tell when he's wrong, does that make any sense?, we'll know all his life is into gold and nothing he can do to convince his fellow men against Bitcoin. I know him to be a good man back then, but has failed me woefully, let him realize life has changed from analog to digital and he should. During the bubbles P. Schiff won't rant but will always be present when dips arrive.
582  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin for salary on: September 09, 2020, 01:04:21 PM
This will depends on the government or the employer of labor, like:
  • What currency do we pay employees?
  • Are these employees in love with a particular currency?
With employers conclusion any currency can be use as payment method than fiats. Bitcoin if chosen can be use for salary payment but the problem will be 'how many of the staffs are ready to accept Bitcoin in it state of volatility'?. At the moment, if a company pay me in Bitcoin I will be much happy than be pay in shitfiats.
583  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: China Can Reverse Bitcoin Transactions? on: September 09, 2020, 12:42:39 PM
He should know by now that, cheap publicity will remain cheap. Concentrate on your shitcoins ripple and let Bitcoin be, bitcoin has nothing to do with your inability to measure up with other top coins.

Bitcoin transaction was only reversed onces in history due to a hack back in "2010 when 91 billion of Bitcoin was created from tin air by anonymous hacker". Bitcoin transactions can't be reverse even though China had 65% of the mining rings. During the China ban on bitcoin, how many of these miners were affected?.

585  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Problem Gambling in the wake of covid-19 on: September 06, 2020, 09:22:32 PM
I passed the questionnaire easily, this is something expected people are gambling for entertainment and what is the best time and best platform to take away your time while you are in lockdown, there are only three things, movies, gaming, and of course gambling so expect the numbers to spike and I believe that surveys, me and my friends are part of the people that gamble online this pandemic.

Anyone can pass that questionnaire as all our answers will be for the good of us, but it's different already when we are in the situation where we are gambling, that's where  we will be tested if we are really discipline in gambling.
Absolutely correct, many of such question will be good than bad, I also answer the same question "but" can't resist some games; when am in love with them. This has happened to me countless time and believe it do happen to others too. Whenever am in action things always change until am able to remember my slogan "there's life tomorrow".
586  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: All your entertainment things must have an external limiting feature, agree? on: September 06, 2020, 09:12:24 PM
The primary purpose of gambling businesses is to make money not to limit their customers spending that money by putting such features and regardless on what feature a casino or sports betting site implement. if a gambler is really into it, especially when their in a winstreak there's no stopping them from playing.
Sincerely, this will actually work against the cryptocurrency gambling casinos if they went ahead to implement such features in their platforms. I can't see how this will work per se because they want money from gamblers which means restriction will make them to lose money. Gambling is for entertainment and also for fun but having this features on every gambling platform will help minimize gambling addiction, but none won't help with this feature. It will be better if we the gamblers set limits whenever we finds ourselves on these gambling casinos.
587  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Biggest Bitcoin giveaway scams and how can you avoid them on: September 06, 2020, 03:52:42 PM
Many victims can't avoid this plaque called scam because of their actions towards getting quick money on the internet. They don't do research to ascertain what they intend to invest with rather they are after the return of their investment which always end in scam. Don't fall for any investment with the word "guarantee investment", they're all fraudulent investment platforms as history said. In conclusion, be contented with what you have and don't attempt doing multiplayer
588  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Supreme leader's twitter account hacked - but that's not the main issue! on: September 06, 2020, 03:32:27 PM
Though, it's unfortunate seeing what's happening to bitcoin as bad; and that which is affecting it reputation fast as you have said. This isn't true because many without the right knowledge about bitcoin will always be victim of scam. Scammers likewise operate with fiats and many gullibles fall for their tricks, Fiat's reputation isn't decreasing, so also with bitcoin when time comes. For the centralized support to curb scam with bitcoin won't work and not acceptable, neutral entity can be manipulated against the community but making the community to serve such purpose is better.

^°^ Gud one, I tink u don say plenty tins here which don motivate me now. But u see eh, dose our people names on dis list na scam dem be, no offense: bikonu. Pensi wey don pass trough dis deir acclaimed situations should don help fix our dear country becus most of dem don served our naija.

Assume sey u and I wey dey hustle like dis see dis type opportunity to help fix our country, don't u see sey we go do am pass dem?. Some sey "I no get shoe, I contest many times nd I loss, I be sell firewood, dem be catch me for kirikiri" dose our pensi's own no just jijar me.

See forum assignment wey our big brother @Brainboss do here for covid-19, him do am wit all transparency, una see eh, me am not motivated by dem samsam. Una happy Sunday.
590  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: No hype is good on: September 06, 2020, 01:29:36 PM
Those who can't wait for long-term gains won't ever listen to your advise, they prefer to make gains in a short-term than waiting for a long-term. Short-term gainers are always at risk of be scam, our recent times has shown that, hype projects are likely to be scam projects but those who want quick gains will enter as soon as the bubbles goes-off. Though, congratulations to those who are smart towards hype to make their cut from the bullish.
591  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Regulations in online Gambling sites on: September 06, 2020, 12:40:58 PM
~snip~
Many of these victims( those using VPN and fortunately win big) always put services on forum service section to find someone from the region to help do KYC, sometimes they don't find and their winnings get lost.
^ Using this VPN belongs to the most strictly prohibited in many gambling sites, they dont want their costumers to give a chance to exploit their site that possible abuse by the users, it is likely they monitored your internet used. It just a sort of your all data are encrypted to them and they know your device use upon creating the account and login session. Therefore, always read the term of condition or term of use before will start register.

I disagree.

Gambling sites doesn't have any power to know of you're using a VPN or not, even if you do, well you could use only one server to change your IP address for them not to know where you really are and who you really are. And upon the devices you use, they also do not restrict users to only use one device to gamble (in this age, who only use 1 device)

And I think using multiple devices won't do any harm on their sites, therefore what you have said is all lie.

Based on what you have said, how come gambling casinos often seize accounts in some certain jurisdiction?(those who never reads platforms TOS before getten actively involve in their service)  This also include cryptocurrency exchanges too. I think when you create account with a gambling casino your logs session should be recorded, how do you outsmart them by switching to VPN when a session has be recorded?.

Multiple device can't do magic IMO; assume such a gambler win big and make withdrawal which result to KYC?. "Prevention as they said is better than cure".
592  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What Is Really Happening To The Market? on: September 05, 2020, 08:06:54 PM
Possibly we won't see Bitcoin @ $5k sincerely speaking: because of Bitcoin adoption. Remember that, many institutional investors has getten into the field of play and they have started making their ways to invest. What happened in August wasn't an accident because it's a  test towards what's going to happen soon, defi has been tested and trusted the world is ready for defi after this bleeding in the market.

I personally look at this bleeding as an opportunity for me to buy from the dip to hold against the upcoming bullish momentum. There are potential tokens that are dip down which are calling for a buy order, don't neglect this calling.
593  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I'm dumping my coins because.. on: September 05, 2020, 07:48:26 PM
I'm dumping my coins when Bitcoin starts to move, the most correct option is to go to USDT.
It is always a safe choice in this market, if bitcoin crashes then it is best to move to USDT to be safe. We can then re-invest and buy back bitcoin or altcoins at a cheaper price
That's all you need to know whenever bitcoin is dumping. Currently if you're holding some bitcoin and don't want to see them down, kindly switch them into usdt for safety, though this usdt isn't safe per se because of it existence. For those potential tokens, don't be in haste to dump because the market can turn from the negative towards positive. Don't ever dump potential coins, they're more valuable than shitcoins, they has capacity to bring huge profits after the dump might have over.
594  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading without setting stop loss (Risky or Not)? on: September 05, 2020, 12:38:31 PM
Grin assume you bought the YAM token when it was on the bullish momentum and never added any stoploss to your trade, what would you think it would have happened as the same token drowned down to it nearest death?, oh-just wake up to see your balance emptied and then left with dead token. The importance of stoploss in trading cannot be over emphasize and should be use while trade.

Personally, I used this management tools to avoid the issue of empty balance which happened to a friend of mine some years ago.
595  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: You have to prove that you can take the loss on: September 05, 2020, 08:48:41 AM
To be honest, I don't know how you people deal with addiction and I think that makes it clear since I also heard that most of them don't know or don't realize that they are already addicted to gambling. I guess the government stepping up is also a good thing but I just hope they don't really strict policies at it might lead for other gamblers to go to other online casinos.

One more thing about the government stepping up is that it is just another form of making gambling more main stream. It's about protecting the ones that can't protect themself and we should respect that. For me I see it very similar to when opening a brokerage account. Once you decide you want to go into investing and trading you need to understand that there are huge risk involved that could lose you all your money.  Filling out a questionaire before opening an account to check your understanding seems a good way to do protect us. If you can show you are experienced then of course those safety measures shouldn't apply.
If we are a responsible gambler we will not having any difficulties about these things and the government will no need to make sure actions.
Yes you're correct: the government wouldn't have in any way bring into action the "prove that you can take the loss". Although as much as we have addicted gamblers among us the government move was in the right direction.

Kindly take a look at this thread to ascertain the injuries co-gamblers had inflected themselves with. Greatest Gambling losers some of these victims died while some with severe health issues, at this junction if you can't "prove you can take a loss" then stay low.
596  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Regulations in online Gambling sites on: September 05, 2020, 08:12:44 AM
Of course you can switch-on to VPN: though not advisable. This has caused so many displeased stories on this forum in which gamblers( victims) where queried for not properly read the TOS of some gambling platforms. The use of this VPN can cause frozen of account with some gambling platforms or when detected during withdrawal process funds will be seize and forfeited for violation. While use VPN, be ready for the outcome.
Of course its not fun when a gambler have baned of account because he doesnt read the sites rules carefully. I have logged in several times and gambled on sites that are blocked in my country using a VPN, its just that I didnt experience any problem because all of my bet were lost. Supposedly if the site prohibit the use of VPNs then they also dont accept any bet from the account. I believe the gamblers fault belong, as the site has stated it on the rules. Avoiding risks is the best option.
Site is not going to recognize the usage of VPNs and users are violating their laws for their benefits, still someone can use VPN safe if they are using premium version static dedicated IP proxy so you will never get caught that you are faking your server and 99% you won't get any issues with this method but it still goes against their terms so account will be banned if they found the violations.
Premium version of VPN can't holdback your reward if such gambler find luck to win huge amount from the gambling platform and request be made to know his real identity before withdrawal. Faking stuff on the internet looks good whenever you have nothing to lose, in this case, as a gambler luck can shine on you and win big.

Many of these victims( those using VPN and fortunately win big) always put services on forum service section to find someone from the region to help do KYC, sometimes they don't find and their winnings get lost.
597  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Invest in your ability to earn more. on: September 04, 2020, 09:21:51 PM
Market signals are great, but you need to keep learning how to be right when buying or selling coins. And it takes years of experience, all you need is patience and perseverance in trading, don't be careless, and always set goals.
I Concord with your thoughts. There are thousands of individuals who don't know how to get into the market when ready to buy coins. Many of these individuals do buy from the top instead from the dip, this has caused many frustration among cryptocurrency investors and traders. In this industry, you will need all your experience to trade cryptocurrency into a profit and those who buy and hold must learn to be  extremely patience. At this time, buy Bitcoin will be the best ever open  cryptocurrency opportunities also is ethereum too.

599  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Regulations in online Gambling sites on: September 04, 2020, 03:43:05 PM
It seems the online gambling regulations contained in the opening post only for UK countries, if it's like that I feel relieved
that I don't have to follow these rules. Each country has its own policies regarding online gambling, but based on the information
I get. There are so many countries that have banned online gambling, including the country where I live. But fortunately it still can
accessed using a VPN.
Of course you can switch-on to VPN: though not advisable. This has caused so many displeased stories on this forum in which gamblers( victims) where queried for not properly read the TOS of some gambling platforms. 600  Economy / Gambling / Re: Casinos Withdrawal Fees Rise | August 2020 🔥 on: September 04, 2020, 12:07:23 PM
That is why I avoid gambling with bitcoin especially when the price rises. Moving your funds from one place to another cost a lot. I switch to altcoins to avoid this absurd fee, there are casinos where you can choose your favorite coin, you can always try XRP which I believe is one of the best options in terms of withdrawal fees.
That's the best solution to this even Ethereum is not recommended because of the high fee which until now is a big issues to traders, the best option right now are Tron, Litecoin, Doge, XRP altcoins are more preferable today not only in gambling but on many transactions, now and it will take sometime to fix this, because of the many factor, one of them is DeFi  on Ethereum platform.
Ethereum for me is the worst means of doing any cryptocurrency transactions as you have already stated above. The #defi(word) of a thing has just ruined the privileges we have overtime enjoyed doing transactions with ethereum. Though, this is expected as many coins has now joined the defi world because of it magic.

Gamblers should find other alternatives to transact their withdrawal from gambling platforms. Currently am gambling with TRON dapps and have been doing this during the surge of ethereum. Although am in love with series of gambling platforms without TRON option but for my funds safety am out for now till the price normalize.
