581  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Qatar world cup Final Predictions on: December 13, 2022, 04:00:50 PM
I never liked predictions because I fail at them. But as we are hitting semi finals and I have lot more potential to get it right I wanna guess safe Argentia-France final. Argentina is one step ahead only because of their dedication and Lionel Messi.
Croatia is definitely underrated team and I think they have at least %40 chance to beat Argentina.
In other match there is huge skill/quality difference between Morocco and France, what Morocco achieved is very good, very dream like, but good things will always end at reality.
There are no safe corners in Qatar because from the last games in the group stage many big teams began to make prediction difficult. I won't be surprised if Morocco meets Croatia in the finals, While France and Argentina play for third place. It is in Qatar I am seeing that defensive strength is more advantageous than star players. If it happened once, i would have said it's coincidence, but it happened more than twice. Croatia and Morocco who happen to come from the same group without losing any match. No country should be underrated at this stage of the competition motivation can turn things around.
582  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FIFA 2022 world cup on: December 13, 2022, 03:48:27 PM
I don't think that Croatia will play that defensively against Argentina. We saw that against Brazil they attacked too and got in some good goal scoring opportunities. What I mean is that Croatia doesn't play like Morocco. Morocco plays super defensively and they are not attacking even when they get an opportunity to create a counter attack.

Same thoughts. Given that Argentina is far from ideal in defense, it makes no sense for Croatia to sit on the defensive. It is better to win 3-2 than to lose 0-1 with no scoring chances. I am sure that today we will see a mutually dangerous attacking game.
As for Morocco, even though they are focused on defense, if you look at the statistics of attacking actions, for example, they were on an equal footing with Portugal.
Against Brazil, Croatia got motivated to attack after they conceded one and the attack which was their first shot on target, produced a goal in the 117' the equalizing goal. During 2018 world cup, Argentina lost to Croatia in the group stage by 0-3, Croatia boss might go all on attack against Argentina.

Both teams are charged for the Semi-finals, Argentina might play a more difficult game compared to what the saw against the Netherlands, I just hope Messi's dreams of winning the world cup stays alive after their clash with Croatia later today.

When we talk about crypto, we should be more specific. Saying we need to leave fiat and face crypto is more generic and misleading because most Crypto projects are shit-coins. It will be more specific to say Bitcoin so that anyone reading will know the exact direction to following.

USDT isn't safe either, remember it's centralized. Bitcoin should be the main focus not even cryptocurrency as a whole. Stick to what works and not what we hope might work

I got this mail from Ray, the CEO of paxful today. It takes one who is determined to serve the public to give a warning like this, From all indication he is willing to be contented with trading commissions. More interestingly, they provide a lightening network for cheaper and quicker Bitcoin transactions straight to their cold wallets.

He did not just issue the warning sternly, he still took time to provide links explaining why his customers should hold their own coin except for day traders and an easy step to self custody, not many exchanges will do this for their customers.

Quote
Why? For far too long people have trusted others to hold money on our behalf but—like we saw with the banks in 2008 and recently with FTX—you’re at the mercy of these custodians and their morals 😓

However, Bitcoin has given us the chance to finally be in control, and we must take it. Rest assured, if you do wish to keep your Bitcoin on Paxful, your funds are safe with us, but remember—only keep what you want to trade! 🙏

i hope for just as exciting 2 quarterfinals today as they were yesterday. since i'm always in favor of the supposed underdogs at big tournaments, i've been supporting croatia and morocco since the quarterfinals.
can well imagine today that mar again creates the surprise via a penalty shootout and maybe eliminated tonight then even with france the reigning world champion
I also hope that Morocco will show good football today... But I still think Portugal will win this game, although judging from yesterday's games here we should definitely expect surprises... I also wonder how France will do against England... Hopefully there won't be a penalty shootout as France is a faster and more attacking team... I probably will take a chance on their win with good odds 2.6...
I am feeling for Morocco, I am in doubt if goolless draw will favor them this time they might have the chance to try their luck in Penalty shoot out. Portugal has a wild attacking force, one good enough to break any strong defense. Morocco might say goodbye to Qatar after today, France and England will be fun to watch. Both teams are in good form with world-class players. Over 2.5 for England vs France is a good odd. It will be a very competitive game for both teams.
586  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin December price on: December 10, 2022, 10:29:48 AM
I think everything is quiet and settled already, so we might the price just above $17k at the end of the month. Hey, that's not that bad as just like 3 weeks ago we are in the lowest low at $15k. But now we have bounce back so we should be very happy on how thing have went from the FTX to the current price.

There's nothing wrong with the continue accumulation because we are still in that phase even next year.

So just simply take advantage of every drop and not complain about it. Just DCA - the best strategy in this bear market.
I agree with you, Price will trade above $17k by the end of the year. There will definitely be retracement moments, but it will be geared towards pushing price to a resistance level above $17k. Accumulating Bitcoin at this phase should be the focus. This is also a good time to pay close attention at price chart to catch up with every moment using DCA has mentioned.

don't make own decision You also need to believe yourself.
Huh
Sorry for that, what I meant is that, at the end of the day some decisions are influence by others instead of sticking to your plans, for example I decided to buy ethereum but my friends told me the other coin is better and ended buying other coins instead of ethereum, what happen is the price of eth rises while the the other coin you bought disappear, that's what I mean to say.
Then you should edit it because the information is contradicting. "Don't rely much on others decision, You need to believe in yourself" can go in there. But it is good to hear from others what they think about an investment, then after seeking their opinion then retard to doing your own research. Sometimes others can have a better way of analyzing which investment best suit a particular crypto season, but in all finacial advices are subject to personal research.
588  Economy / Economics / Re: 5 things you should not do with your money to get rich on: December 10, 2022, 09:47:48 AM
5. Don't invest suddenly

This is advice with strong value. Riches can be very toxic and if there are no financial advisors wrong choice of investment can be made. Example, when Bitcoin reached its ATHs  many predicted it was going to hit new highs, but the reverse became the case and such scenario can affect how much a wealthy person is worth especially when they depend on crypto investment for their net worth.
589  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: So many good news but Market and coins don't go up on: December 10, 2022, 09:32:38 AM
Good news is not enough to move the market. It is how buyers respond to this news that decides if price will pump. Negative news have more impact on the market than positive news. Never forget demand and supply when observing the market. If good news pops up and everyone rushes to buy, price will obviously go bullish, otherwise there will be no impact.

it goes on for Messi and Argentina. Argentina wins 4:3 against the netherlands

source: my tv and ard

and now it's on to the semi-final against Croatia with Luka Modrić

Haha, good source Soonandwaite. Both teams deserved the victory, the Dutch counterattacked really well during the match, and also in the penalties. But Argentina was more accurate, so there's nothing to claim.

Good think that violence didn't escalate, but a bit os a shame the few unfortunate images by some players today.
This is the most enjoyed quarter-finals. Both teams deserved to win, but there will only be one winner who will move to the semi-finals. The excitement is that Argentina worked hard for their victory against the Dutch. v. van Dijik  gambled the chance of the Dutch moving to the Semi-finals. Argentina has done it, I hope Croatia get prepared for the worst. Croatia need to learn how to score because Messi is all out for his first and last World cup trophy.
591  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Crypto Day Trading on: December 09, 2022, 08:28:56 PM
I don't recommend YouTube or written publications for traders who don't have experience trading. In trading, there must be a physical mentor, especially for the newbies. These mentors stand to guide against greed, help grow patience and ensure there is constant improvement on any strategy chosen. Most videos on YouTube don't give in dept understanding about trading. Learning online can play with one's physiology. It is always better in a physical venue then move to online sources for advancement.

Leverage trading is mainly for traders who know when to pull out of a trade. Just the same way it yields massive profit, It also wipes out trading accounts in the same speed.

I am waiting for those who will make excuses for Brazil losing. When Spain lost to Morocco, we saw excuses everywhere now Brazil is leaving Qatar I just hope their bus shouldn't be attacked again by Irate fans. Underestimating any team is the beginning of losing bets in the world cup. It is becoming clear that the least expected country to lift the world cup will majestically go home with it.

Argentina are at the top of their game, Messi is so incredible what a sweet assist. Croatia should do a good warm up against Argentina. The underdogs are going for the world cup this time
593  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FIFA 2022 world cup on: December 09, 2022, 02:23:30 PM
I don't think anyone doubts Brazil's football prowess. As I said before, they are a football superpower. But it's also important not to underestimate any other nation that has made it to the round of 16 or quarter-finals of the world cup. You mentioned Japan, but did you forget that it's the only team to beat two world champions, Germany and Spain, in the group stage of the competition, which is no easy feat by any means.

Brazil is not unbeatable—the team has already lost once, to Cameroon, in spite of all the odds. If you look at their previous games, the team has been far from a perfect unit. They've made mistakes, and it's likely that those mistakes will continue to happen in future games. Of course, anything can happen in sports, but I don't think we should underestimate Croatia's chances of winning this match. Fingers crossed!

I agree with you no team is to be underestimated. So many claimed Brazil lost to Cameroon because Nyemar wasn't in the line-up due to his ankle injury, which he is still recovering from. Fortunately he is in the line-up today against Croatia, the end result decides who handles their defense, midfield and forward better.

Brazil has the most formidable squad in the world cup and their line-up for today's match is so intimidating, but we know in soccer games underdogs can leverage on their opponent's mistakes to get a win and i hope to see some interesting counters from both side.

The sad thing is that Spain lacked just a striker, that’s it. They play so well but because they do not have a great player known to score a lot, they lost and not looking great for the longest time and it has always been that problem. Not that they never had any, but they never really had anyone as good as Messi, Ronaldo, Mbappe, Haaland, Lewandowski, or even Benzema lately.

These are elite scorers, not just forwards as a position, but also people who can score easily, and they never had anyone at that level. If this team had someone at that level, rest of the squad is good enough to fight for a title chance and because they don't have one, they are now gone, it’s that much of a big difference.
Since Spain could not penetrate Morocco's defense more often then rating their performance is pointless. Spain started with Olmo, Asensio and F. Torres, Morata came in from the Bench yet nothing happened what other striker do they need. It was the same set of strikers the used against Costa Rica that gave them a whooping  7-0 victory. We just have to admit Morocco did well in their defense. My major credit goes to Bono who was so good at the penalty shoot out
595  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FIFA 2022 world cup on: December 07, 2022, 07:30:38 PM
Cristiano Ronaldo not being able to play a role for his team, I don't think that's it. It's not surprising that his not been delivering on the job as expected and by that, I mean the goal scoring but, his still very much a leader and the hope of the Portuguese team as he has always been.
I was thinking maybe that Christiano Ronaldo was reserving all the energy to showcase himself in this world compition and this was why he couldn't perform since the beginning of the premier league season, but I'm yet to see that in action. So I do believe that after some of their games, the team realized the need to start building a new team without Ronaldo , So this is what you can see from the entire Portugal team performance.
It should be understood that era come and go. The days of Cr7 are over. The competition is now between the younger stars, the likes of Mbappe, Neymar, Gonçalo Ramos (who has set a new record in the Qatar 2022 world cup). Anthony and Richarlison also have those threats of setting and breaking records before their careers gradually come to an end. Cr7 has been a good left winger from his early football career but as it stands age is no longer smiling at him, and he has been forced to play top nine which he is yet to adapt to and might never do because he bones are no longer strong to give him speed and quality shots on target.
596  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FIFA World Cup 2022 Discussion Thread on: December 07, 2022, 07:11:39 PM
Morocco won't be as comfortable as they were against Spain this time. Spain had a big percentage of ball possession maybe but Morocco were still able to keep things in favour of themselves until the penalty shootouts. However Morocco's job is going to be much more difficult against Portugal. Because they will face a team which have newly destroyed Switzerland by a huge score.

Besides Portugal have a much different game plan than Spain. They don't aim to keep the ball in their feet too much. They are just looking for fast attacks by great passes from the ground or the air. I don't think Morocco have the strength to keep up with this.
Morocco can be said to have a solid defense. In the group stage they only conceded 1 goal and so far in the world cup they have one of the best defensive record, winning their last three matches including the knock-out stage. Portugal has a good attacking formation and will win the possession against Morocco but if they fail to penetrate Morocco's defense it might end in another penalty shoot out or a lucky goal could separate the two teams
597  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FIFA 2022 world cup on: December 06, 2022, 08:48:09 PM
G. Ramos has the potential of replacing Ronaldo if he retires after the Qatar 2022 world cup. Pepe will also be saying goodbye to international games after this, which will be the last world cup for both.

G. Ramos might be the only one to get a hat trick in the 2022 Qatar world cup. Because we are moving straight to the quarter-finals after this match, where every country will be more serious than ever and cheap goals will not come by that easily. Morocco will have a tough time playing Portugal, but if they can do it against Spain, they will do the same with Portugal.
598  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Qatar world cup Final Predictions on: December 06, 2022, 07:15:18 PM
Morocco won against Spain today, but of course they have little chance of winning the tournament. We do get an interesting quarter-final by the winner of Portugal - Switzerland against Morocco. If you win that you are already in the semi-finals. Based on that data, a tournament win for Portugal would always be a possibility because they are in this side of the schedule. Brazil and Argentina may meet in the semi-finals, we will not get that dream final. I will stick to France v Brazil as the final.
Morocco won against the best of Laliga. Winning the tournament for Morocco is impossible, but it will forever be in history they won Spain who has the best Laliga squad in their team.  Morocco against who ever wins between Portugal and Switzerland will decide what happens to Morocco, but I wish they move to the semi-finals

Since the inauguration of the FIFA World Cup in 1930, where 13 African nations participated, Only four of them have reached the quarterfinal: Cameroon (1990), Senegal (2002), Ghana (2010) and Morocco (2022). None of them have ever made it to the semifinal, and I so dream Morocco breaks this record. Who wins the final will be after the fate of Morocco gets decided by Portugal.

I don't know what project you are managing, but managing GameFi projects pays more from what I have seen and explored the last I worked for paid close to $1500/month.  It is not enough having projects to work for. Where you make the money doesn't matter much in crypto, what matters is how you chose to save them. Make it where ever the opportunity favors more but always remember to be your own bank, let your keys always come to your mind after hunting and managing projects which Bitcoin will always guarantee anytime.

So far, the match between Morocco and Spain is the most boring of the play-offs. Spain seem to have started trying to create a moment recently, but it wasn't enough to score a goal. I think that if it comes down to a penalty shootout, Spain will win, just like Croatia did yesterday. Whoever wins, though, with a game like this, it will be difficult in the next round.

Spain really had a hard time against Morocco's golden generation, many bets would have been destroyed because of this match.

morocco has an extraordinary goalkeeper, no one expected that they would be able to survive so far, even in the penalty, the Moroccan goalkeeper saved their goal perfectly.
Spain just made me lose my bet. Morocco didn't just survive the won Spain through penalty shoot out, and their attack and attempts were far better than that of Spain. Africa deserves a public holiday, no one saw this coming. I was hoping to see Spain and Portugal play in the Quarter finals, but Spain is now out of the game. I hope Switzerland gets the same motivation to send Portugal home. The under dogs are now fighting for dorminance.
