581  Economy / Economics / Re: Holdings of gold vs Holdings of btc on: July 27, 2017, 01:59:55 PM
Does anyone have any idea how many people are using gold as a store of value vs btc?  And how long do you think until we have the same user Base as holders of gold?
Gold has been stored for centuries as an investment and also used a an ornament. It has gained trust of people world wide for decades.Huge volume of people are holding gold as an investment. But bitcoin has been introduced just eight years ago.Earlier,it was mostly used as a currency. From past two years after its price has raised tremendously and so people started considering bitcoin as an investment. So,in no way, volume of bitcoin holders could reach volume of gold holders.
582  Economy / Economics / Re: Was Bitcoin actually just a Pump and Dump? on: July 27, 2017, 01:52:52 PM
Only most of altcoins are just pump and dump and not bitcoin.Bitcoin has revolutionized the world.People are now free from banks to send and receive money. They have got an excellent opportunity to earn from bitcoins. It has given equal opportunity to people all over the world new earning opportunities irrespective of caste, creed, etc.
583  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin or gold? on: July 27, 2017, 01:47:10 PM
If you had to convert all your wealth to either Bitcoin or gold and keep it there for 10 years, which would you choose? Keep in mind the fact that Bitcoin has only been around for 5 years, and could be fundamentally different in any number of ways in 10 years.
We have to admit that gold has been used for centuries as an investment and it has gained trust among investors world wide. But still it does not give huge profits as bitcoin has given.Since bitcoin works on a secured block chain system, our investment is safe.Bitcoin has tripled in its price since last six months. So i would like to select bitcoin as an investment than gold.
584  Economy / Economics / Re: Best way for steady income on: July 27, 2017, 01:41:58 PM
Hello All,

What you think is the best investment to gain steady income in btc without actively doing anything?
So no trading/gambling/loaning etc.

Steady income more likely to be 'small & secure' than 'big & risky'.

Thanks,
BR Oinas
Nothing could be got freely in this world.Hard work and efforts is needed to earn money.Same is the case with bitcoin. You can try to invest in cloud mining farms but most of them are scam today. You would have to wait for six months to even recover your invested money.Best thing is trading by which you could gain profits but you have to actively trade to get profits.
585  Economy / Economics / Re: Make money from money on: July 27, 2017, 01:36:50 PM
What are the features that a good investor should have? What are the characteristics of people who have enough capital and earn money from money?

What are the factors that make these people successful in their investments?
First, they must have good knowledge of market and asset in which they are going to invest. They should not get panic and they should not blindly follow the market as market would be full with FUD.They should be able to identify the most under valued asset so that they could get maximum profits.
586  Economy / Economics / Re: Are cryptocurrencies better than regular currency on: July 27, 2017, 12:55:19 PM
Honestly I believe bitcoin is better since one you don't use your credit card so you don't loose you needed cash but instead your cash that you could easily earn back from mining. Plus, it's open to all ages unlike credit cards.
Crypto currencies are better than regular currencies because they are free from inflation especially bitcoin.More over, they have a tendency of growing with increase in demand for them whereas regular currency just remains the same with no such big difference.Investors in crypto currencies need not gt feared about their investment being devalued as it was earlier done in india by devaluing high value notes.
587  Economy / Economics / Re: Tell me a secret: any way to earn 0.1 BTC per week? on: July 27, 2017, 12:49:19 PM
I would like to know if anyone of you earns 0.1 BTC per week or even more? Is this possible and what is best way to earn it? Your experiences, suggestions and advices are very welcomed.
You are already on a high paying signature campaign.By that way,i think that you could make 0.1 btc per week easily if you fulfill their requirements. You can also try to complete jobs in freelancing websites which pays in bitcoin. If you have some money to invest, then you could even earn more than 0.1 btc by investing in altcoins and trading.
588  Economy / Economics / Re: New rich people thanks to BTC on: July 27, 2017, 12:38:11 PM
I have been making an analysis about how people is getting real rich thanks to the increse of BTC and it is amazing to think that people are getting real rich, lets hope and this will continue so the people that holds very little BTC also gets rich.

This is the analisis I made:

On February 1st 2015 you will need 4,219 BTC to have 1 million USD, now that is worth: 10,125,600 usd

On Febraury 1st 2016 you will need 2,681 BTC to have 1 million USD, now that is worth: 6,434,400 usd

On February 1st 2017 you will need 992 BTC to have 1 million USD, now that is worth: 2,380,800 usd

Today you need 404 BTC to have 1 million USD ( the person who has now 404 BTC it is millionaire, and in Feb 2015 just had with the same 404 BTC 95,757 USD

That is amazing.

I wonder what are the new rich people doing right know? have they realised that they are rich yet.

Definitely, they would have realized it and they would be now enjoying their life. They actually deserve it.They kept trust and bought bitcoins when almost most of people said that it would die and created FUD.But still they believed in bitcoins and bought it.Early birds are very much lucky.
589  Economy / Economics / Re: What would happen if Bitcoin became a legal currency? on: July 27, 2017, 08:11:41 AM
Everyone would like the bitcoin is accepted in all online and real stores and, as as mentioned in the title, what would happen if Bitcoin became a legal currency?
If bitcoin becomes a legal currency, the same thing would happen which happened in japan. There would be a huge demand for bitcoins and mass adoption would take place. As a result, bitcoin price would increase more high. But at the same time, bitcoin would be regulated and taxes would be levied for bitcoin earnings and governments would trace every bitcoin transactions. But it would definitely help for bitcoin progress.
590  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin heading to $4,000 on: July 27, 2017, 08:06:58 AM
Bitcoin is a blessing to some of us here. We can testify, how since the beginning of this year that, we have make alot of return on our investment in bitcoin. I foreseeing bitcoin touching $4,000 before the end of October this year. Hope you join us in this less risk investment.
Early,it was seen a little bit difficult for bitcoin to reach even $3000 due to FUD last weeks as a result of which bitcoin price fell down to $1850.But now, since the fear of hard fork has disappeared from investors, every one has started to rebuy bitcoins which has made its price to recover soon. After august 1,for sure,we could expect bitcoin to cross soon $4000 and by this year end,if this trend continues, bitcoin orice could even cross $4500.
591  Economy / Economics / Re: Can Bitcoin also lead to corruption ? on: July 27, 2017, 08:02:59 AM
We all know that there is corruption everywhere, like in government or any other organization. Because of money, corruption can always happen with greedy people who always wants more money to them. Since bitcoin can be considered as money, can it also lead to corruption?
Bitcoin has nothing to do with corruption rate.Already, corruption is done by using the existing currencies. It is already happening even before bitcoin was created. It would also exist even if bitcoin dies. But the corrupted people may find it easy to handle corrupted money in bitcoins instead of paper currency.
592  Economy / Economics / Re: The $1 Million Dollar Bitcoin on: July 27, 2017, 07:58:00 AM
It's not going to happen, not even $10,000 in plenty of years. We might be lucky if we'll see the price go to $2000 as max ATH, which isn't that unreasonable after we manage to get more investor money on board. But at this point it's a million miles away  Wink
Bitcoin has already reached the ATH price of $2850 last month.Still its going to increase more after august 1.We could not be able to exactly predict when bitcoin price could reach $1,00,000 but on seeing the ever increasing demand for bitcoins and its mass adoption,it might be possible to reach in the near future.
593  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin: Best investment in 2017? on: July 27, 2017, 07:45:55 AM
Certainly, bitcoin has almost tripled in its price since past six months. There could be no asset in this time which has given this much huge returns to its investors. Now,since solution is found for scaling problem, its price has started to increase in rocket speed.Soon it would pass over $3000.
594  Economy / Economics / Re: How can we push the actual use of Bitcoin ? on: July 27, 2017, 07:31:28 AM
For increasing the use of bitcoin,we have to individually approach retailers and explain them the benefits and usage of bitcoins. They should be mentioned that once payment is done in bitcoin,it could not be reversed. They must be explained that payments made in bitcoins will not be taxed until governments legalizes bitcoins.
595  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin and Gold - origins of value on: July 27, 2017, 07:26:13 AM
Definitely, first investors got attracted by gold's appearance and started to buy it.Later demand for it increased and it lead to its price increase. But there was no such kind of attraction for bitcoins.Tech people were first attracted by bitcoin's functioning in unmatchable blockchain system.Later when its price started to rise, even more people got attracted towards it.
596  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin price is recovering! on: July 27, 2017, 07:16:40 AM
Bitcoin price has already started recovering and now its price is $2555.All those droppings in the last week was due to FUD spread by big whales to buy bitcoins at cheap price. They have already bought lots of bitcoins at cheap price and they would still continue this process unless newbies get sound knowledge about bitcoins.
597  Economy / Economics / Re: Why You Should Never Sell Your Bitcoins Ever on: July 27, 2017, 07:11:16 AM
Your point is right. We could avoid the loss by not converting bitcoin into fiat and buying every thing with bitcoins. But we could only buy every thing with bitcoins only if every one accepts bitcoin payment. For that to happen, bitcoin should be universally legalized in all countries. But it would take a long time since japan has just now started to legalize bitcoin while other countries have not yet decided on it.
598  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin Mixer a must? on: July 25, 2017, 11:10:30 AM
Not every one needs a bitcoin mixer.Only people who have huge sum of bitcoins and do higher value transactions fear of their security as any one could easily trace their transactions and also if they want to avoid paying huge amounts of taxes to governments.they use such services to mix their bitcoins to avoid being traced out.
599  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: what determines the value of BITCOIN?? on: July 25, 2017, 11:02:15 AM
As you have already said, the increase and decrease in demand for bitcoins determines its value mostly. But,at some times, its price is also determined by other factors like japan legalizing bitcoins which lead to increase in bitcoin price and FUD spread about bitcoins during BU issues and now recently hard fork issues, which leads to decrease in its price. In earlier times, chinese gamblers dominated bitcoin market and they used to dum p their bitcoins to buy cheap bitcoins which caused a fall in bitcoin price.
