bump
583  Economy / Computer hardware / [wts] Gateway Nav50 netbook Atom 64 bit $99 of BTC plus $9 US shipping on: September 20, 2013, 01:54:17 AM
40gb hard drive, N450 1.6ghz cpu, running Ubuntu Linux 13, webcam, power pack, battery.

Battery holds charge over an hour but not warranted.   Unit is slow due to small hard disk but works fine with Ubuntu. Has Windows 7 starter key on the bottom but I did not feel Windows 7 was appropriate for this machine.  Included is just the netbook and the power adapter, nothing else.

(edited, fix cpu spec)
584  Economy / Goods / Re: Three different Bitcoin coffee mugs - "honey badger" , "qr" and "cryptography" on: September 19, 2013, 10:11:43 PM
Here a completly new sketch Smiley Hope you like it!
(I'll put more finished versions when we reach near the final idea for the image) (hope you understood me jaja)

I still like this general concept the best, I was hoping this bump meant some Snowden mug is ready!

I second that as well.  I like this one the most.
585  Economy / Computer hardware / [wts] Samsung 24" LED/LCD monitor $99 worth of BTC plus shipping on: September 19, 2013, 12:46:04 AM
Monitor has wear from use and some nicks in the casing from being opened for repair.  Great bright sharp screen though.  DVI and DB15HD connectors only.

It's getting cold!  Payable in BTC at final stage of checkout.  We only have black.  We are shipping from the USA.  Overseas shipping is expensive for this item, consider another vendor outside of the USA.  We have M-L-XL in stock, S and XXL can be specially ordered.

The case is made to obscure any form of radiation. The artist is actually a physician and is fully aware of that concern. (I specifically asked him about that myself.)

Quite an achievement.  Many industries would be interested in this material.
591  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Buying Pizza? on: September 18, 2013, 11:48:01 AM
Interested in hearing ideas for the most efficient way of purchasing Pizza Hut delivery with BTC.

Thank you!  Cheesy

If it does not have to be Pizza Hut then you can use Foodler.com and get Pizza for BTC.
592  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: WTS [maryland] in person - APC SMT2200 x2 two units, 2.5 coins each on: September 18, 2013, 01:43:11 AM
I carried two of these from my truck to my garage and almost crapped my pants.
I hope not at once.  Smiley
593  Other / CPU/GPU Bitcoin mining hardware / radeon 4870 x2 cards no video (common failures?) on: September 17, 2013, 09:13:12 PM
I have a bunch of 4870 X2 cards that have no video.  Anyone know the common failure modes on these cards?

The fans spin, everything else looks good.
594  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: [wts] USB BE overclocking parts (16mhz crystal and 1.2k resistor) on: September 17, 2013, 01:23:46 AM
Can I pay for you to do it for me?  XD

I am doing for hobby reasons, I think you will loose as much as you gain just in the transit back and forth to me so I don't necessarily think it is a good idea.
595  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: [wts] USB BE overclocking parts (16mhz crystal and 1.2k resistor) on: September 17, 2013, 01:21:53 AM
So if I remove the factory-installed 12MHz crystal and install your 16MHz crystal, and change the resistor (which resistor?) to bump the voltage I guess, would I expect to see it run at ~444MHz?

Here are the instructions:

http://www.filesnack.com/files/c7xmwnj1

This is hard if you do not have the right tools.  I will attempt it later this week on one of mine and report the results.

200$ + escrow

I would sell it on ebay for $300+ way before that.  Might go a little lower though  Smiley

You pay in BTC at the final stage of checkout.  USA ships for 99 cents though right now we have a sale on for a penny that ends soon.  International orders will be contacted for actual postage cost.

599  Other / CPU/GPU Bitcoin mining hardware / Re: [WARNING] Do not sign for any BFL package you plan to get a refund on! on: September 16, 2013, 07:35:27 PM
You would have to be stupid NOT to sign for that package.  60Ghz for $1333 with the key part about being DELIVERED NOW you really should take it.  If it was at $2500 for 50ghz that would not be such a profitable deal.

600  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: DrillBit Thumb USB Miner X 2 (Batch 1 Order) on: September 16, 2013, 05:49:28 PM
FOR SALE: DrillBit Thumb USB Miner X 2

Hey folks, I've done some web work for Barntech over at http://www.DrillBitSystem.com (Excellent Bitfury based hardware, Now on their second group buy!) and he was nice enough to squirrel away a few DrillBit Thumb USB miners for me. Unfortunately I am unable to afford to purchase all of the miners he had set aside for me so I'm offering to pass on the offer to whoever wants it here on the forums who didn't get a chance to get in on batch one.
(Shipping mid October / early November 2013).

These units can hash up to~2.7GH/s using only standard USB 2.0 power and are then next generation in USB ASIC miners, replacing the now obsolete 333mh/s AsicMiner Block Erupters.

I'm currently asking 1.2BTC per each of these units OBO (If an offer is made higher then previous offer and stands for a day, it shall be sold at that price)
I will have all units shipped to me when they are finally ready to ship, then post them to you at any address you provide.
Shipping cost is included in the unit price seen above, and If it is more costly to ship out then what is included in the price I will pay for it out of my own pocket.

Please post your offer below or PM me if you are interested.

Cheers,

Kyle.T

These prices seem reasonable(ish) for immediate delivery but are downright awful for a preorder shipping as late as November.  I know you are kind of stuck with source chip pricing etc, but this game seems to be over for the common man.

If you plugged this stick in RIGHT NOW you would make about .45 BTC (or less) in the next 30 days.  The next month about .3 BTC and the third month about .2 BTC.  You would have a chance of possibly breaking even after a year.  Plug it in in 30 days and you miss that .45 BTC and would really have trouble getting over .8 BTC overall mining a whole year.
