Sorry for the above message, I am not sure why I can not delete or edit it.
I also have not heard of this either and I have been watching most BFL threads. You might get a 60gh unit and a 5gh unit or it all may be a mistake and it may be 60h. 60gh and 5gh would be nice!

FYI, BFL never offered a 64GH/s unit. They offered 40GH/s units initially, which were then upgraded to 60GH/s units.
I sent BFL an email last year asking about this when they changed their product lineup, and they confirmed that they will be delivering 64gh/s per unit in this order. Hence my saying "...so these will be two of the fastest units out there." Thanks for the heads up though. Cheers Interesting. This is the first time I've ever heard 64GH/s from anyone. You must've gotten lucky somehow then. Mine was originally 40 GH/s, then 60GH/s, and still at 60GH/s.

Ok, on Reddit/bitcoin you can send some bitcoin to pay somebody by typing. No need for a wallet address, etc. Sorry I do not have a link for a direct example, but those who know what I am talking about could post it here and who is behind it.
I was thinking the same people behind this cool coding could help a website/blog from all those trolls and have the tipping go to the website wallet.
Banning a troll is useless as he will come back, create a new ID and so forth. Trolls are working hard everyday. Why not make them work for the website they are trolling anyway? Instead of voting down a troll, you send a bitTroll to help the site. The bittroll value will be fixed and small. The bitTroll ONLY goes to the website wallet. The website, next to a tipping jar would have the keyword you would use if you want to help out getting the trolls away. Of course, there will be no guaranty the troll will vanish but he will be making money to the site and the troll will know about it by tracking how much of a good bitTroll mule he is.
By posting often the trolls help the site make money.
Simple idea based on the other idea on tipping someone on reddit using bitcoin, but I have no coding skills.
Any takers?
Another way that would work would be having a tiny cost to post and a system that would reward good or even fair stuff with a return of that cost while troll posts and all replies to troll posts get no return. An enhanced version would have the costs to repetitive trollers go up, while others costs go down.

They do, and it is quite negative. I bolded just two words, but the page is full of negative crap. Out of 11 articles, only one has a not negative title. I would say this is the most negative news outlet on Bitcoin, they make Forbes look like they are in LOVE with Bitcoin.
Top headline: US seizes accounts of Bitcoin exchange Warrant claims failure to declare money transmitting business
Second headline: Taxmen and police look at Bitcoin threat Fears criminals might exploit the electronic cash
Third headline: Q&A: Why fear Bitcoin? What is this digital currency and how does it work?
And another on the page: Virtual currencies threaten to go viral Several Bitcoin businesses have had their bank accounts shut down

Wait, are you selling the miner or just the photo?
By the terms it is just the photo. Someone is looking to kill their own eBay account.

Or you could buy great games from people who already support bitcoin. This other game developer might follow...... https://www.humblebundle.com/weekly#contributeWe are getting past the 'begging' stage now. There is the bitcoinstore.com, foodler.com, humblebundle.com, and so many others that you can choose to buy with bitcoin now. I certainly support showing new companies bitcoin, but the technique should now be look at who is already doing it and HOW WELL it works for them. This game dev should add bitcoin, if he does his due diligence he will see how low the cost is and even it if adds just a few sales it will be worth it.

Thanks for posting his email address so publically... I'm sure he's going to love the flood of spam and bizopp requests you just sent his way. Not that I condone posting or not but... Most spam is scraped and this would not be scraped or pulled from databases.

I bought a 60GH BFL BitForce Bitcoin Miner in June 2012 and as you can imagine I haven't received anything yet, so I sell my preorder for 2500 dollars.
I give all the proofs that I actually own this preorder as:
-BFL Account screen -I change the shipping address with one made by you and I give the screen as proof
Send me a PM, if you're interested
BFL specifically says they don't do this.

Hello fellow BitCoiners, I got the following offer for you: http://www.ebay.com/sch/johndow1968/m.htmlDue to my lack of reputation and confidence as a Jr. Member, I picked the eBay platform where I got plenty. I included proof of purchase as well. And my YouTube channel is connected too. Pls. read the ad carefully. I'm open for questions or suggestions. Happy bidding. Take care, John. People are having eBay accounts killed over presales just a warning. It is against eBay rules to sell something that has an unknown shipping date.

- 933 MHz G4 processor - 1.5 Gb RAM - 4 x USB 2.0 via PCI expansion card - ATI Radeon 9000 Pro graphics card w/ both ADC and DVI connectors - 2 hard drives, 60 Gb and 100 Gb - DVD superdrive - Gigabit ethernet - 2 x Firewire 400 - 2 x USB 1.0 - 56k Modem - Apple USB keyboard and mouse - Logitech stereo speakers
This is the Quicksilver model, one of the few capable of running OS 9 natively and able to boot the latest PowerPC compatible version of OS X, Leopard (10.5). It has been significantly upgraded and expanded with the maximum RAM, a USB 2.0 expansion card, an upgraded ATI graphics card, and a second hard drive. The graphics card will work with any DVI monitor (or VGA with an adapter) or any proprietary Apple Display with an ADC connector. It is also capable of driving dual monitors.
It is currently running a fresh install of Mac OS X Leopard (10.5), iLife '09 and iWork '09.
As a bonus, I am throwing in a USB extension cable, since the cable on the Apple keyboard is not long enough to reach the Power Mac when sitting on the floor. Note that the monitor is *not* included, it is just there to show the system is working.
Everything is in great condition and working perfectly. Available for local pickup in Toronto only. Asking 2 BTC, but offers will be considered.
One other cool aspect of this machine is excellent security through obscurity. Due to the G4 CPU it is almost incapable of running modern viruses yet it is a (slow) but usable machine for browsing.

Whether TradeFortress is honest or not his shennanigans reveal Ripple is a tremendous security vulnerability for anyone who uses it, unless you use an utterly paranoid set of precautions that have yet to be worked out.
Bullshit, it's only when the participants do not understand the concept of trust. By that logic pirateat40 revealed a tremendous security vulnerability too. Yes, but pirate didnt say, I am taking your money and not giving it back. Tradefortress said that here is an IOU I WILL NOT HONOR. Where?? https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=206948.0He did not say that he would not honor it. Maybe you are right but he did say: "To expose and bring awareness to the flaws in the Ripple payment system, I am giving away at least 1 BTC per address on Ripple." While I agree anyone following what trade fortress was doing over the past few weeks would have got that they are not going to get any coin outside of a ripple IOU, I do see that someone jumping in the middle might have been misled.

And if someone handed you a contract that they said they were not going to honor, would you accept it then try to push to get it fulfilled?

I was going to write a response to this, but my time is better spent on other things, unlike you which seems to be concerned with losing money to people I gave IOUs to because you want me to honor IOUs on Ripple which I have not said I will honor.
I didn't loose any money to any IOUs. You asked for my trust and I gave it to you, you then broke that trust by taking my BTC, giving it to other people, then refusing to pay it back. Unless you can explain to me how I am wrong, that is not what happened. Tradefortress did not take your BTC, Ripple did. And Ripple gave the BTC to someone else other then Tradefortress, or am I wrong?

I think the thing with tradefortress is pretty obvious. He said here is a debt in a system I do not agree with. I will not pay it. I do not see how he can be scammer tagged for that. He could have 'sold' false debt or otherwise made real promises and that would get him a scammer tag. He did not do that.
He definitely needs the untrustworthy tag, at the least. He has asked people to trust him, which they have, with the sole intention of being untrustworthy. No. He asked people to set their trust flags in ripple and explained to them what would happen if they did.
