ow I pay like $ 0,32 KWH They changed my express shipping (paid $ 88 for it) to standard shipping. That's like 2 weeks from US to EU. If I upgrade to express shipping it's a freaking $ 800 (2 day delivery)!!! Because BFL screwed up power consumption (ASICS need about 5x more power than planned/guessed/hoped) they need bigger casings. Bigger casings means higher shipping costs. So you get your units later (original shipping was scheduled for October 2012), with less performance, and a higher shipping price. Thank you, BFL. Not.

Mother of god! How is this little thing supposed to dissipate 300 Watt of heat? At least something interesting came from that email. New pic of single--->> You all know how big 7970 heatsinks are - and they are designed to handle "only" 250 Watt.

I agree... someone is going to get ... schooled ... tomorrow. You're talking about BFL_Josh now? Your alter ego / split personality? I'm very displeased at the moment.
... with yourself?

No, shipping has not begun. BFL just sent you a nice letter with lots of yadda yadda. The interesting part is this here: "Please be advised that [1]due to the adjustments described above, we need your confirmation prior to release of your order into the final build queue and on to final delivery. It may also be a good time to [2]review your purchase altogether relative to the bitcoin market as this is the last opportunity to do so. If your order is not confirmed, it will be canceled and your money will be refunded. " They did this because of legal reasons - to be on the save side: [1] They screwed up power and performance, so they want to get your OK. [2] They screwed up shipment dates - and know that it will take a long, long time before your units will be shipped - and difficulty will have sky rocketed and you only make a fraction of the Bitcoins that you would have made had BFL shipped on time. They want to get your OK for that too. Basically it's like a blank check for BFL: "OK we screwed up big time but you have to sign here XXX and confirm that this is still OK with you". Not that some of you guys come up with the idea of suing them ... Wake up, people! They're doing this not because they are such a customer-friendly company - they are doing this for a reason.

Back to FeatherCoin for me.
This was just for fun - quite sure it won't amount to anything in the future anyway.
There is the chance that Chinese users will flock to this new coin, considering it as "theirs" and it will have a niche in the market, making it worth something. Yeah like the French flocked to FRC(Freicoin) and the Irish to the IxCoin

FINALLY. Only been waiting since 9/2012.

I know they announced it but, any idea WHEN LTC on mtgox?
"Maybe end of this week. Or the week after. Prepare for great news to come" ( (c) Josh/BFL)

Let me fix that for you: I thought BFL stopped using bitcointalk the Internet for official statements anyway, the info you just posted kind of supports that as well doesn't it. So anything Josh posts here these days is HIS PERSONAL views/estimates insults and blatant lies, as was already said.
Questions for you: Were does BFL post official statements? Is it the bullshit on their always outdated homepage ("... we are in final stage development")? Buried in deep shit on their forums? On grnbrgs Twitter feed? ... where are those official statements you're talking about?

Dont' flatter yourself, seriously, nobody gives a damn about you or what you said.
Keep showing your racism, prejudice and hatred and this might make you a bit more famous though.

He's on record as saying that Inaba is Josh speaking as Josh (unfiltered), and BFL_Josh is Josh speaking as the BFL rep.
No, Josh always uses his Inaba account - even when talking about BFL in his role as company representative. Go check his stats: Name: BFL_Josh Posts: 78 Position: Jr. Member Date Registered: August 01, 2012, 02:58:50 PM Last Active: January 11, 2013, 08:16:28 AMThat was 3 month ago ...

Feathercoin - Who needs innovation when you can fly?
ChineseOrphanCoin - Who needs innovation when you can plagiarize?

I mined overnight with a couple 5830's. Hundreds of stale blocks, dozens of orphaned blocks, ...
Maybe this coin should have been called COCK: Chinese Orphan Coin Keep.

Why rice? Why not a full plate of dumplings?
Any Germans here willing to explain?

I apologize if CHNcoin was created because of my stupid posting No, but they should either: A) Solve a problem B) Innovate
And if it's a Chinese coin: C) plagiarize
Maybe FTC does not stand for Feathercoin, but for Fuck The Chinese (we too can plagiarize)? Next time someone creates a Black-Hole coin (sucking in all the hashing power to create worthless coins), can he please set the block target to something like 1 microsecond. I propose the name BHC (Black Hole Coin) for it. To avoid pre-mining, we all can start mining it once it's detected at the LHC.

So I heard one of BFL's wafers were broken and they're waiting on another batch. If this is true, it will add to the delays. Anyone know if this is true?
Yes, it's true. A sack of rice fell over in China and crushed the wafer.

You are butthurt, OK, but please stop the public whining! Neither has BFL delivered the promised performance (1GH/s per Watt), nor have they delivered "many pre-orders already". From the thousands and thousands of pre-orders, how many does BFL claim to have shipped? Maybe around 30. How many of those did not go to devs, magazines and other members of the family&friends program? Maybe around 10. How many of those 10 have actually been delivered to pre-order customers? Maybe 5. Anyway. I would neither call 5, nor 10 nor 30 "many pre-orders" given the total number of orders in the thousands.

I recommend trying to learn basic English before trying to debate me. You're pathetic it at.
LOL! It seems even native speakers have difficulties with the syntax.

Ordered this almost a month ago. Looks like they're shipping but what will the ROI be assuming I get the monitor the earliest which will be July/August?
It's the 60GHash for $1300
They are not. They are only shipping Jalapenos. Singles, Little Single and Mini Rigs are still in (re)design phase (aka "now in final stage development" in BFLspeak). Your expected earnings: I'll just post the basic results here, the full analysis is here: http://organofcorti.blogspot.com/2013/04/913-asic-choices-asic-earnings-17-april.htmlPrevious post in series here. 4. ConclusionsEarnings estimates are again a bit better than previous estimates - all shipping is a bit delayed compared to my previous best guess, I hadn't counted on ASICMiner dropping their hashrate back to 7Thps. extending the forecast to August (still assuming no batch four from Avalon ) shows that an Avalon that cost 75BTC and started mining on 23rd May should almost have paid for itself by August - about a 2.5 month ROI.
