Hi everyone. There will be no meeting tomorrow. Sorry, but there is absolutely no way I can put off my personal obligations this weekend.
Have a great weekend, everyone!

Hi everyone,
Because I am out of town for some personal matters, tomorrow's hangout is cancelled. I might try have a hangout on Sunday, depending on when I return. I would of course announce that as soon as possible.
Have an awesome weekend!
take care mate ... hope its all good ... #crysx Thanks for the concern, mate! All is good, yes. The hangouts in the smack on the middle of the day (1 in the afternoon, EST) on Saturday are hard for me to squeeze in sometimes. Rarely it is impossible but, I am happy to make every effort if more people can attend. This time was selected to allow the best possible balance we could come up with across all time zones for the people that wanted to participate. I was hoping I would be able to reschedule it to Sunday but, I needed to catch up on all the day-to-day operations. So the next meeting will be the 21st @ 17:00 GMT, given no other conflict arises. With any luck, the next EverGreenCoin Community Meeting and Hangout will be officially a Board Meeting of The EverGreenCoin Foundation! I should be getting a response as soon as this week. I have already been advised that I will be asked additional questions because of the word "Coin" in the title. No worries. I have the appropriate, honest, and legally sound answers waiting on deck should they be asked of me. Basically, it boils down to "EverGreenCoin" is not "The EverGreenCoin Foundation" and vice versa. On that note, The EverGreenCoin Foundation being not for profit certainly does not mean EverGreenCoin trading is not. That confusion has already surfaced on social media outlets. I hope I have squashed that confusion quickly. Please do not misinterpret the formation of the legal entity as a way to silence any community members regardless of borders or anything else. On the contrary! If you are reading this, you will have a voice as a board member. You only need to exercise it properly (professional, courteous and considerate of all factors). This is akin to an "Elks Lodge" (lawyers wording, not mine) but with no membership fees. There is a clause of "at the Board of Directors discretion", but that is only reserved for bizarre situations. In lieu of the meeting, a brief summary of current events:- Price: As I am sure you know, Bitcoin has been soaring to new heights. The forthcoming forks of Bitcoin are probably impacting all altcoins to some degree, just like it did for Bitcoin cash. We are still hovering about 20 cents USD. To put it in the words of a telegram user recently, "EGC is still solid in the Storm" and I am happy for that and the communities awareness that it is a bit of a storm currently. - Development: I have successfully modified the EverGreenCoin code to work with SSL v1.1. I am very proud to say we will be one of the few coins that will have SSL v1.1 and this keeps us abreast with industry standard or what soon will be industry standard version of SSL. This will be added into EverGreenCoin v1.7 along with the Qt improvements to the dynamic staking for charity information and improvements needed for the solar staker made by drofxafm. - Development: The EverGreenCoin Qt for Android full-featured wallet will also be updated to v1.7 when it is ready. I do aim to have v1.7 released this month of October. That said, please understand this is an unpredictable time of year for myself. But the funds are reserved to pay MystPhysX for the update which will be updated in the Play Store also. - Development: I have not lost sight of the non-staking Android wallet. We are working with a different Android developer to re-evaluate our options. Pro: No downloading of the blockchain. Con: No staking nor staking for charity. - Business: Bow and I are readying to make a large investment into IEO on behalf of the EGC Foundation. This will buy founding shares of IEO and help IEO get their project off the ground by funding equipment for their first paying customer. The EGC Foundation will own these and any profits in the future will be the EGC Foundation's. It admittedly is a long-term investment that might have high risk. If you are in a position to contribute to this, and therefor IEO's ambitions, please consider donating via this crowdfund: https://evergreencoin.org/product/ieo-founding-shares-investment/- Business: Christophe and I our progressing with the Solid Rain agreement. Solid Rain, like many businesses, does need the EGC Foundation to have a registered business number to proceed. Christophe and I are also working on cooperation with the Great Green Wall of Africa. Christophe is very passionate about his environmental work and will be bringing great things to the table for EGC. It is a pleasure to be working with him and all other like-minded philanthropist. We should all take great pride in the direction our humble project is going. I do apologize for having to cancel Saturday's meeting and for not being able to reschedule it on Sunday. I had been warning the past few meetings because I knew this was coming. I do hope the community understands. I am always willing to talk to any community member. If you should ever want to talk to me privately, I welcome that and usually can conform to your schedule. Please do not hesitate to contact me. Have a great week everyone! To the treetop!

Waiting on the edge of my seat to see what I missed :-) Here is the link for the recording: https://youtu.be/QER0zt6T5DY Sorry I forgot to share the link here after it uploaded! It has been a very hectic weekend for myself gearing up for harvest. The biggest announcement made during the meeting was that the paperwork and fees have been submitted for forming the 501c3. Processing of that paperwork can take 2 weeks. Have an awesome week everyone! :-)

Many thanks to today's participants! It was a productive meeting and we did discuss some very exciting and promising endeavors. To summarize, the topics discussed were: - A small demonstration of the work on the forthcoming EverGreenCoin v1.7 loading charities and the data loading upon refresh.
- A brief demonstration of the Solar Staker user interface running locally on an EverGreenCoin wallet running via solar power.
- Publicly announced a cooperation with "Solid Rain" we have been working on. These products will soon be in the marketplace with 50% of proceeds going to the EGC Foundation. This is just the tip of a large ice burg we are working on in this cooperation, and I do mean large.
- A forth coming crowdfund to help and invest in IEO. The EGC Foundation will get founder shares of IEO in return. Please reserve a small portion of your recent profits for this. Do expect more cooperation with EGC and IEO in the future.
I will get the recording uploaded as soon as I get it edited. We had some pervert join and expose themselves. I guess that is the price of fame. As always, I try to keep the recording short, concise, and on point. This recording is only about 40 minutes. I will post a link as soon as it is edited and uploaded.

When solar staker will production ?? I see roadmap... Me waiting Q4 from roadmap... Good luck for dev and team... I know if production release will Boom The simple answer to your question is, as soon as we can. While the solar staker has had more than its fair share of setbacks, we persist. Setbacks like people leaving, especially when they leave with components the foundation has purchased, has certainly been hurdles. You see, a lot of this is happening via personal donations funding of components, expertise, and most notably, time. Delivery of components from China can sometimes take weeks alone. Other setbacks like manufactures ceasing to produce planned components are obvious. All of which makes pinpointing dates difficult, if not impossible. All that said, we continue as fast as possible given the limited resources. Any further community contributions of expertise are greatly appreciated. Thank you for your interest and wish of luck!

Hi everyone, I forgot to demonstrate the progress of EverGreenCoin v1.7 in yesterday's hangout. If you are curious to that update's progress, specifically the previously mentioned enhancement to staking for charity, please find that info here: https://evergreencoin.org/forums/topic/evergreencoin-v1-7-wip/Thanks for understanding me not re-formatting and re-posting it here, and again, enjoy your weekend! I only aim to remove some repetition, so I can enjoy mine. EDIT: Not to imply keeping you updated is not enjoyable. Looks great - I like the idea of the dropdown charity feature If its not too much trouble - it might be a good idea to have a 'list refresh' button too, since a lot of people don't like to restart their wallets (might also simplify the testing procedure) Great idea! The list should not really change that frequently, but you're right. Community members running a wallet consistently should not have to restart their wallet to be sure the list is current. A refresh button will be added. Thanks starmman!

Really love the green solar staker! Happy to see this listed today on CoinExchange, and came here for info before investing. Great group here.
Thank you so much for taking the time to share your enthusiasm, kl0ndike! I am glad you did research before making your investment and you did find EverGreenCoin investment-worthy. Welcome to EverGreenCoin! Exchange-wise, the vast majority of attention is given to Bittrex's EverGreenCoin market, though I have recently heard Cryptopia's in community discussion more often. Please be reminded that no exchange will stake your EverGreenCoin for you. You do need to withdrawal them into your own EverGreenCoin wallet to start collecting installments towards your 7% annual interest. That said, it is risky to leave any investment in someone else's hands, exchange's or otherwise. Please see our FAQ for more explanation and instructions. You are absolutely correct about our group, an absolutely amazing collection of like-minded minds and hands. EverGreenCoin does have a bond that binds the community tightly. I like to think of that 'glue' as life itself. For without an environment on our planet conducive to life, we know its certain fate. That cohesion is great and is easily realized and shared across any border, cultural divide, profit, loss, pump, dump, or any other situations. This gives EverGreenCoin resilience I suggest might be unmatched. Again, welcome to EverGreenCoin and the EverGreenCoin community. Please see https://evergreencoin.org/community/ for all the community wide resources and various links, if you would like to become more involved. We look forward to any contribution you may wish to share beyond your enthusiasm. But the enthusiasm is greatly appreciated, none the less!

Here is the recording of today's hangout: https://youtu.be/thNbX7h_v1oMany thanks to today's participants. I apologize the recording is a little long this weekend, about an hour. Time flies when your having fun!! An especially warm welcome to James Magee of Increased Economic Opportunities, Inc. (I.E.O.) to the EverGreenCoin community. I am very excited to where this relationship between the two projects will lead. I.E.O. is an energy company up-start that aims to bring solar energy to low-income households and help alleviate the very large entry costs. James joined us during this meeting to provide more details as we open discussions of how both like-minded projects will be able to mutually benefit from a cooperation. Details forthcoming as this news is very new and still materializing. Details of I.E.O. have been added to the EverGreenCoin Directory here: https://evergreencoin.org/directory/increased-economic-opportunities-inc and links to their site can be found there. James has also become a 'seller' on the EverGreenCoin marketplace and is selling I.E.O. t-shirts there. Again, I look very much forward as EGC begins to join forces with this energy company up-start. I took a few minutes of today's time to share a few pictures of the beta EverGreenCoin Solar Staker also. Please see the video for all of those and details as I demonstrate the enclosure, but here is just one I took this morning at sunrise: Please see the video for more detailed discussion and inspection of the enclosure. This setup only consists of the enclosure, solar panel, and a plug-able cable between. I do address some of the concerns that have been brought forward and this modular design will provide much room for expansion while addressing some of those concerns. For example, an additional panel could easily be added, longer cable used, or even another battery added. I do think this does open possibilities moving forward. I am making the arrangements to buy more of these enclosures and panels at a discount. The enclosure will easily accommodate the physically larger Raspberry Pi devices or others if we do need to deviate from the CHIP SBC because of their lack of availability. Many thanks to all today's participants and viewers. Please give the recording a thumbs-up if you find it deserving. Have a great remainder of your weekend and thank you for the continued support!
