I have confirmed C-Cex is on the correct blockchain now. You may proceed to move EGC to and from C-Cex with confidence so long as you do know your copy of the blockchain is correct.

In my conversation with c-cex the volume of EGC was mentioned. It was by no means a delisting warning but rather a request of me to ask traders to bring some volume. I would not ask any investor to make any moves they were not comfortable with but I do extend this request. If you are in a position to make a trade that has no substantial difference if it occurs on c-cex or another exchange, please bring the volume of that trade to c-cex. C-cex has been one of the more responsive exchanges to myself and other community members during these recent network troubles. If we can make them feel it was worth their time with a little more volume, that would be great.

Thank you for reporting this information GizFreak. I too have confirmed Bittrex is on the correct blockchain as well. EGC community, you can proceed to send and receive from Bittrex but, be certain your wallet is on the correct blockchain as well before doing so.

I just got done speaking to c-cex. They had not resynced. They were in the situation I mentioned earlier where they had an older wallet (v1.2.1) running past the "big bang" cutoff time. This made their blockchain incorrect and would still be incorrect after upgrading. This is no fault of v1.3 as it was loaded with an already incorrect fork. They have replaced their copy of the blockchain with CryptoChainer's recent one and started the v1.3 wallet now. It will be a few minutes while it catches up to current block. I will do some tests then and report my findings.

Yes, the block hash mentioned by drofxafm is correct and his suggestion to verify your copy of the blockchain is good advise. If you do not know how to check a block hash on your local copy of the blockchain, see this post. Yes, you must be upgraded to a EverGreenCoin version 1.3 wallet.

If you find you have a different block hash or do not have the block at all and have already upgraded to v1.3, you will need to resync. This situation could be created not by v1.3 forking but by using a old wallet past the big bang cutoff time (about 10 hours ago) and then later trying to upgrade and still using this now incorrect blockchain.

Version 1.3 is staking correctly and there are many PoS blocks passing and confirming on the network. I hope this helps you to find your PoS blocks confirming Wosterlee.

I have notified Richie that the new wallet is available. I have yet to see a response or indication he has started on it but he usually is very quick. Considering he did know beforehand that this was coming, I would expect a turnaround within a day or 2. That is just an approximation and I can not speak for Richie or Bittrex.

I will notify the community the instant I know more.

Version 1.2.1 is not, nor any other old version, working. These old wallets still might appear to be working as they will find other pre-version 1.3 wallets and sync with them. But they are not on the correct blockchain.

Only version 1.3 wallets are on the correct blockchain. Older wallets can not communicate with the correct blockchain and have been locked out. Any EverGreenCoin wallet, besides the new version 1.3, is useless as of a few hours ago. Everyone must upgrade to version 1.3 if they wish to send or receive on the correct blockchain.

The protocol upgrade looks to be a success! Please upgrade at your earliest convenience and do not attempt at moving any EGC until you have done so and verified you are on the correct blockchain. Do not move any EGC to or from an exchange until you see an announcement that the exchange has upgraded and has been verified.

Seeing some peers join in and both PoW and PoS blocks rolling. Everything appears to be in order.

And I am seeing all kinds of "06/18/16 10:26:17 partner 198.27.81.25:42101 using obsolete version 70000; disconnecting" on the seednodes. They are rejecting the old wallets.

The block explorer is confirmed to be correct.

The protocol change took place at block 491719

All seednodes are on the new protocol and version 1.3

I apologize on Crysx's behalf. Apparently he missed some memos and is still compiling. Won't be much longer.

Crysx is now in contact with me. He had some legal matters that took longer than expected. The big bang will proceed soon. Sorry for this delay.

My apologies for having to do this but, I must postpone the big bang as Crysx is not in contact with me. He is not on skype, our normal mode of collaboration. The network will continue as is for the time being until I hear from him.

Sorry for doing this but I do not want to do this without all the seednodes in unison.

Seriously, I have everything waiting. The post with download links in a tab, ready to post. The edited OP in a tab, ready to save. Shells open on all the EGC VPSs, ready to stop 1.2.1, snap shot the blockchain, and start 1.3 concurrently with Crysx and the granite network seednodes.

Actually, should be a 2-3 minute operation. I will get on social media and also start contacting the exchanges as soon as I see the network is operating sound, connections are being established, and both PoW and PoS blocks are rolling. These blocks will continue at present rate until the actual target block time hardfork at block 495000 witch should occur in about 36 hours roughly.

I greatly appreciate those of you that will be waiting for this time and populating the v1.3 network as soon as possible.

I have spoke with Crysx. We have agreed that ~8 hours from the time of this post (which would be 4 am EST) will be the tentative time of the "big bang". I say tentative only because if some issue should arise we may need to adjust. That said, there really should be no issue. I have the sequence of events mapped out throughly and all the pieces sitting ready to go. The code will be ready everywhere at that time and, minus the snap shots, it will be as simple as stopping one daemon (v1.2.1) and starting another (v1.3) on all the servers.
 
I realize that the 4 am EST time might be inconvenient for some people. Please understand this is a global project and no matter what time is chosen, it would be an inconvenient time for some.

Up until the time of the "big bang" when you will need a v1.3 wallet to do so. I am waiting for a response from crysx to establish this "big bang" time. He must have went to bed after his long travels.

EDIT: Please understand Crysx and I have a 13 hour time difference and his personal and professional obligations do not allow much flexibility sometimes.

Delete some files and upgrade.

If you do wait until after the designated time and allow your old wallet to continue running past this time, you will have to resync to get on the correct blockchain when you upgrade. The old wallets will continue down an incorrect fork on the old protocol version.
