581  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: Hacking The KNC Firmware: Overclocking on: May 26, 2014, 06:32:35 PM
was running my nov rig at 0.000v n 335...but one die would drop out..so i slowly started droping the volts n oc til it was happy staying on all the time Smiley but you have 3 vrms that aren't happy and on different dies so idk if that is your problem or not...also those vrms are little toasty...I would go that high if it was my rig...you'll melt the solder off it Cheesy

Thanks for the advice, dropped the clocks and the voltages and they seem to be more stable now and are staying on.

However contrary to what I would expect the VRM's are getting even hotter than my other boards Huh

582  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: Hacking The KNC Firmware: Overclocking on: May 26, 2014, 12:06:40 PM
My november jupiter had been running along nicely around 750GH, but recently the speeds have dropped.

Looking under advanced I see the following

Die 1 and Die 4 are both showing 0 voltage, if I leave it alone in a few minutes it starts up again and hashes normally, runs for a few minutes and then back to 0 again.

Before I start messing with clocks and voltages thought I'd ask if anyone else has had this and the best way to fix it.

The 168 option may or may not be deployed in full.  You can always let us know your opinions so we have a community voice to go by Cheesy

It would be nice to set longer leases, like most the longer the lease the lower I set my price so it's more attractive for buyers, but it's not a biggie as I use a 5% rehire discount which is almost the same thing.

Upcoming Features Ideas:  Feedback wanted.

Dynamic price rental plan: The ability to create a rental plan either using static or dynamic hours and set your price automatically (and continuously) to the weighted average of the last 50 rentals +/- a provider specified percentage (excluding supports long term and 0B leases)

Elite provider status: A new provider tier for recognized leaders providing a large amount of hashpower and focusing on providing awesome rigs with awesome customer service.

We have providers in mind and are looking to a "[] Nominate this provider as elite" checkbox in feedback.

A special note here.  Some new currencies (CC/FIAT/New Coins) may only be available to elite providers.  A status with bold and an indicator icon will be added to the rigs page.   We may move Elite providers to the top of the rig list.

Thoughts?  Terrible Ideas?  Decent?

Dynamic: I like suchmoon's idea of a single hourly price with discounts for longer.

Elite: As someone who prides himself of the characteristics you mention, not sure if this is a good idea. My rigs have been hired out for 3,500 hours and I don't have a single feedback star.

A little request also.

When you go to 'My Account' could you add the current balances for all coins to that page.

Currently have to click on BTC, then LTC then DOGE to see them individually.

It took me over an hour to find this request.

I searched tickets, PM's, IRC and pages of history.

This request.  Is complete and on production!

Great suggestion.

Just noticed the addition, many thanks Smiley

While I'm here, the previous update said
New maximum short term rental time 1 week (168 hours)

Still only shows at 72 hours max on mine, tried adding one longer than 72 just in case and it wouldn't accept it

Keep the "conversation" going on this.  I think the community will develop the best method.

We also have to think about ways to display all the payment types and coin icons.

Something like limiting providers to 2 currencies (and btc) per rig?

Auto exchange would also need to be bi-directional so providers can choose which currencies to accept and which currencies to auto-exchange to which other currencies.

Then all of the account pages would have to list all of the wallets or have a dynamic sub-menu showing all currencies customers & providers have on the site.

Doge and LTC are fairly well established now, so I personally have no problem hanging onto them as they aren't likely to fluctuate that much and I can cash them in every week or two.

I'd be happy to accept other coins no matter how junk they are as long as there is an option to auto trade them as I don't want the risk of hanging on to them or the hassle of exchanging them myself.

But then all of this adds a lot of hassle for you, for no real benefit, I can't image the demand to pay in alt currencies is enough to warrant the work involved in setting it up, and at the end of the day the purchaser can exchange the coins themselves then they are free to pay in any of 3 available currently.

My miner cannot connect to leaserig.net for the last 20 minutes (since 19:55 UTC). From home (different location) I have no problem with the site. Did you block some IP ranges?

Same here, LRP is reporting as dead won't connect to leaserigs

Have had some issues with the proxy server this last week.

1.
One of my leases was automatically cancelled and the renter was refunded, this worked fine however it still kept mining at his pools and didn't return to mine, so they ended up getting 1.3TH for several hours free as it happened during the night.

2.
It seems to get stuck in some sort of loop, I don't know if it's an issue with certain pools* but what happens is the rig connects to the pool, you get a message saying pool diff set to say 32, then you get lines showing the speed of the miner for a couple of minutes, no shares are reported as being submitted, then it disconnects and the process starts again.

Restarting the machines doesn't cure it, restarting the proxy doesn't cure it.

* When I asked the renter to swap pools it started working again (the possible bad pool is 'stratum+tcp://cure.cryptopools.com:3347 in case you want to test)

Thanks to RoadStress and Spondoolies.

Ordered on the 10th and requested the free delivery.  Changed my mind a couple of days later and asked for the 1 month hosting instead.

No problem they said and my machine went online about an hour ago, so 5 days from ordering to hashing Smiley

The Tx fee is taken from the withdraw amount.  So you receive .9999 if thats the amount after the Tx fee.
Thanks, I like to withdraw even amounts where possible so thought I would check first Smiley

When you withdraw from the local wallet, is the transaction fee taken from the amount requested or the account balance

IE If I ask to withdaw BTC1 do I receive BTC1 or BTC0.9999 ?

When i woke up this morning the rig has been not on my pools but on your pools instead Sad
All my pools where removed and now shows 0 hash speed

This was resolved via PM at the time but posting to keep things public.

It appeared to be an issue with leaserigs itself as several other users reported problems in their thread around the same time.

I added on additional time for bronan even though I don't believe it was a problem at my end, hopefully he will post confirming that he was satisfied.
593  Economy / Reputation / Re: Tigggger's Reputation Thread on: May 02, 2014, 10:09:00 AM
Juste rented two rigs and both are taken offline:

Name   Current Speed   Remaining lease time   Provider
TigAnt1 (SHA256 900.00 GH/s) Using LRP Only Stratum pools supported   OFF   23 hours and 44 minutes   Tigggger
TigAnt2 (SHA256 900.00 GH/s)   OFF   23 hours and 44 minutes   Tigggger
Click a mining rig to manage pools and view stats.

Investigating now, will report back shortly

The issue appears to be with the pool you are using (Slush ?) both rigs were constantly connecting and disconnecting from the pool.

As you can see from the stats the rigs were running stable at 950GH average before the rental started, and the other two farms TigAnt3 and TigAnt4 are still running fine.

TigAnt2 has improved a little, TigAnt1 was still playing up so I restarted the proxy server and that too seems to have improved, but they are both suffering from disconnects.

As you can see the machines are hashing OK, I'd recommend adding a 2nd back up pool.

EDIT: Both rigs appear stable now, the disconnects have stopped

Wait, you're not logged in?

Well I was and I wasn't Smiley

As per always and the last email I got I was using
http://leaserig.net/index.jsp?page=admin

That allowed me to log in and see my admin panel as posted above, but then brought up the issues mentioned.

After finally logging in through the page link after various combinations of username/email and the 3 different password I'm in and can see the links as you posted.

miaviator, might be worth removing the ?page=admin link to avoid confusion.

Providers link stays up for me. It just move to top middle left...

Strange, I must be going blind or there is some other issue.

Admin Page

If I navigate to home for example

Following the recent changes, I'm finding no easy way to get back to the admin page once I navigate somewhere else

The 'Providers' link has gone so have to keep pressing back to go through page history (and then refresh to show any changes).
598  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [Antminer S1 Sales open] Price changes daily, now 0.619 BTC for 180GH/s on: April 26, 2014, 02:20:10 PM
you don't need the extra fans . so 5 x .619 = 3.095 btc and about 200 for the psu this is about 1600 for 700gh at low power.

That is not bad at all. Equivalent to $2286 for a 1TH miner, except that you get the ability to overclock and stock clock for as long as that makes sense, then switch to low power for longevity. I like this a lot.

A good idea, and a better solution than an S2 for sure, the only downside being that it'll never make back the 3.5BTC it costs, but at least you'll lose less than the 7BTC an S2 costs Smiley
599  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [Antminer S1 Sales open] Price changes daily, now 0.885 BTC for 180GH/s on: April 17, 2014, 02:04:34 PM
not happy you had coupons that expire april 11; but you were out of stock for so long; and then website wouldn't work to even buy any product.
you should extend coupon expiry dates as make good gesture to your previous customers. Undecided

^^^ This

Was going to get another 8 but they were out of stock for so long never got the chance before my coupons also expired, and frankly at the current price can't justify buying more Sad

Great - now it says speed 0.0

:sigh:

Maybe it's because I'm using bfgminer not cgminer. I set up --api-listen and --api-port 4028 in the bfgminer bat file and changed the proxy startup from 0 to 4028. Reported speed shows constantly as zero.

What is the proxy saying, is it trying to connect to 4028? Is the proxy running on the same machine as bfgminer? Perhaps you need to use --api-allow.

bfgminer won't even start with --api-allow

I get:

WARNING: cgminer API (127.0.0.1:4028) Failed to connect

Try --api-allow W:23.236.58.114

I've only ever used cgminer so don't know what difference there is between that and bgminer with regards the api.

The --api-allow needs to be set to the proxy machine not the leaserig server.

So for my machines I just have --api-allow W:192.168.1.200

The clever thing is that if you have multiple machines, leaserig proxy adds all the hashrates up and reports the grand total.
