581  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Beterbiev vs. Bivol - Undisputed Light Heavyweight Championship on: February 08, 2024, 03:02:10 PM

I think both boxers does not want drama, they just want to fight and declared to be the best in their division. This should be fun, and a lot of money are stakes in this fight, so they can't afford to postpone it worst cancel it. The venue is set, people are expecting it, this should happen.

I'm not discriminating but this is what I like about Russian-based fighters they came to fight they don't want dramas compared to US-based fighters, they don't thrash talks and they behave well in press conferences, maybe because of the language barriers they are not good in English.
Is there a possibility of a rematch or even a trilogy just like what happened in the Canelo - Golovkin fight?

If the fight becomes close I believe there should be a rematch, but of course, it depends on what happens in the first fight and the boxing community's reaction and feedback this is one legacy fight and very important for both fighters, one's zero and his title will have to go on that night.
582  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Have you ever introduced an elder gambler to online betting? on: February 08, 2024, 12:38:53 PM

As you can see, it wasn't only about gambling, but also about interacting with other people inside a real gambling environment, besides the technological experience not being so rewardable when compared to playing at solid, palpable physical machines.

And you, have you ever successfully introduced an elder person to virtual gambling?

As a rule, I don't want to introduce gambling to who I think will not a responsible, I based it on my assessment and my interaction with him much more to elderly person, so no I have not yet introduced an elder person to virtual gambling I don't want to get blamed if fever the elder person become addicted to gambling the whole family will blame me if ever the elder person become addicted I want him to enjoy his retirement age by doing what older people are doing like strolling in the park talking to their peers and enjoying retirement years.

If I get him involved in gambling, there's a possibility that he will spend more time gambling than doing what is best in his status as an elder, and we all know gambling is risky for people who have time and money many elder people have time and money coming from their pension.
583  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How's problem gambling different from compulsive gambling. on: February 08, 2024, 11:21:43 AM
Was reading a gambling related article just this morning and it was talking on random issues cut across gambling responsibly, many of which I agree with.
You should have shared that article so we could also read it for a healthier discussion and we can explore the subject that you want to disscuss.

Quote
However, there were two terms that were made mentioned of which stole my interest unfortunately they weren't explained but only mentioned. I could have just checked them on Google but I felt reluctant and said let me bring it to the community let make it a discussion among us. The two terms were Problem Gambling and Compulsive Gambling. I want to know if they are different in meaning and how different is their effect on their victims.
Based on my experience and what I believe in, there's no difference on the meaning of both words and their essence if you are a compulsive gambler then you have a gambling problem these two are interconnected you cannot be a compulsive gambler and do not have problem in your gambling activity.

Quote
And moreso, there's a statement I read in the comment section which is in the quote below. I would love to have the views of slot lovers in the forum on this. How true is this statement.
Quote
All slot players are long term losers.
I seldom play slot but this applies to all games of chance, whether it is a dice, mine or Plinko the house edge will beat you so don't ever treat these luck based games as a source of income
584  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Changing initial option and losing the bet on: February 08, 2024, 09:28:52 AM
As a gambler and I do participate on physical gambling, at times this scenario often happens to me. After doing my analysis, checked statistics on games, I have selected option I want to play but when I get to gambling center I will have a thought of changing option or adding  a game  to the initial option I selected and this most time will cost losing the bet.

These acts has cost me from losing bet many times, as a gambler share your thoughts on this and have you been in a similar situation.
To err and to change decisions is just humans much more if you're doing this in a casino, I have a lot of bad and good experiences changing my first bet but unfortunately, the number of losses is much more than winning, I experienced this offline and online casinos.

I experienced this when I was betting on horse racing because there were so many tipsters in the betting station and everyone offered a different perspective and good analysis that is why I kept changing my bets sometimes it turned out good but most of the time bad.

I carry this in my online gambling, it is hard to keep up and just settle on your decision there are so many things rushing in your mind especially if the stake is huge, this is one of the gambling dilemmas that gamblers face and that's what makes gambling exciting and the casino that you want to get back over and over again.
585  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Pacquiao vs. Buakaw - April 20 on: February 07, 2024, 03:51:25 PM
Buakaw isn't even a boxer and is not much younger, not sure if this is a good matchup.
But Pacquiao always gives his 100% as seen in his fight against DK Yoo with no mercy even if it's an exhibition Grin Now imagine if Buakaw makes him angry... IMO the chance of Buakaw winning is slim since Muaythay is more about knee, elbow, and spinning back fist. Rooting for Pacman to win, as seen on my avatar, lol.

If it's just for exhibition purposes I think people will buy it regardless. Buakaw is excellent in muay thai, and I'm sure he knows how to handle himself. He's a defensive fighter too, so it will be natural for him to be on guard against a more aggressive Pacquiao. I'd still watch it, though, and probably bet on some other categories and not directly on the match winner as there's obviously no value in it when it comes to such exhibition matches.

Yeah, he know how to defend himself, but against Pacman? I doubt he will even last since it's boxing and Pacman has not become the only 8th division champion for no reason. This maybe an exhibition fight but we know who would possibly win here, unless there's a script that needs to be follow to make it look hard for Pacman. Well, I brought up this "script" thing as there are rumors that exhibition fights follows some script to make it an entertaining event.

I'm sure Pacquiao will try to look impressive here because he is preparing for the Mayweather fight and he wants to look good in this fight to show Floyd that he is still good and impressive in the ring, but Buakaw is not an easy fight, because the guy can take a punch but his being limited with his skill in boxing and the fact that he is more expert in kicking will render him defenseless against Pacman.

It will be good if Pacquiao can knock out Buakaw to scare off Mayweather, Pacquiao has better preparation against Mayweather who is fighting an unknown and inexperienced Gatti, both of their opponents' records will speak on who is the better opponent between Pacquaio and Mayweather.
586  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Teofimo Lopez Vs. Jamaine Ortiz WBO Welterweight Title February 8 on: February 07, 2024, 03:04:07 PM

Nothing spectacular on that press conference though, both has so much respect with each other. If Teo will stay relax and not get clip early, he will definitely win this fight. Ortiz is much taller but I don't think it has a advantage in this fight. It's more on the boxing IQ, and as per Teo, he has mature now and so he has the experience against Ortiz.

They already met in the ring nine years ago in their amateur days, Lopez won the match but he earned respect of Lopez so they know each other but not that well since they amateur fought and we all know that there are great amateur boxers that did not translate their success in the professional, while there are boxers who are a poor performer in the amateur but ended to be great champions we can site boxers like Tyson, Wilder and many great names to mention

Quote
During their amateur days, Lopez and Ortiz locked horned horns.

They met as teenagers in the final of the Golden Gloves at junior lightweight in May 2015. At the end of three rounds, Lopez was the victor but Ortiz got his licks in.
https://www.ringtv.com/664214-jamaine-ortiz-expects-the-best-version-of-teofimo-lopez-in-their-ring-championship

I also going to bet on Lopez when he is not triggered and relaxed he is a very good tactician in the ring, and he seems fine in the interview not unlike the Kambosos fight where he is triggered by thrashtalks.
587  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Subriel Matias vs Liam Paro Possible, 140-pound Title 90% complete on: February 07, 2024, 01:22:14 PM
I hope this fight pushes through, both fighters are good knock-out artists when two undefeated fighters collide in the ring expect a lot of action, Matias is such a good fighter, he is a pressure fighter who loves to move forward and loves to slug it out many become his fans after he fought Shohjahon Ergashev,
Shohjahon Ergashev is such a good fighter I thought he had a good chance to take Matias's title but Ergasshev it seems never faced a pressure fighter who moves forward and is willing to take so he can give out his best punches.

Matias is an underrated superstar in boxing and so is Liam Paro whoever wins this match will soon become a threat against Teofimo Lopez and Haney so it's going to be exciting to watch this fight It is a battle of underated fighters who can one day take a spotlight in the 140 lbs.
588  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Rich or poor gambler, who should risk more? on: February 07, 2024, 12:14:04 PM
Gambling an activity for fun also has the chance to turn someone's fortune. Calculated risk when taken in gambling can be the way to big wins from gambling. Who do you think should take more risk in gambling? The rich gambler or the gambler who is not yet rich. If a rich gambler takes risks in gambling, they are risking losing money and becoming poor from gambling, or getting richer, when a gambler who is not yet rich gambles, they can also get poorer or richer, so the gambler who should take the risk should be the gambler who can handle the dangers of the risk like losing too. When a rich gambler loses from taking a risk, there is a better chance of them being in a position to manage with the losses, than someone struggling financially who a big loss will really affect. So, I am confused after asking myself this question and answering it, does this mean a poor gambler should continue to play it safe in gambling? With no risk, how can a poor gambler change their fortune in gambling?

None of them should, they should not risk their money, to get more money, gambling is not a cash cow and it's risky for both of them, they could end up penniless because rich or poor people there's an inherent risk, people should have a limit on how they gamble and the risk they are going to take depends on their capacity and capability.

Rich people may have all the money but it only takes a few nights to lose everything, same with the poor people, we should not play more than we can afford to lose an we should not use the word risk as part of our gambling activity rather its better to use the word enjoy whenever we are playing.
Our motivation should be on enjoyment and not on risking money just to gain money, the former is safer than the latter.
589  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Selling a property to play gamble on: February 07, 2024, 10:51:57 AM

No matter how deep you are in gambling never you sell a property because you will surely regret it when it doesn't work the way you expected.

Have you ever sold a property to play gamble and afterwards finds it difficult to replace that same property again?

Unfortunately, those addicted to gambling sell everything they have and they don't care about the outcome, all they want is to satisfy the need to get dopamine the reward hormone that will satisfy the feelings of gamblers, they are blinded and they do not even take consideration the hardships they undergo when acquiring these properties, that is why we see gamblers living miserably because they lose everything they have all because of the feeling that they are alive because of the dopamine.
Once you sell your property you are at the height of your addiction and there's a need for intervention because if there are interventions there is a possibility that the individual who is addicted to gambling will turn to crime just to sustain their addiction, their love ones should do their best to implement intervention to cure the addiction before its too late.
Here in our country, I read rumors of wealthy people and entertainment people losing all they have because of their addiction, it can happen to these people it can happen to anyone.
590  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Beterbiev vs. Bivol - Undisputed Light Heavyweight Championship on: February 06, 2024, 08:48:15 PM

Politics has to be set aside, this fight is not for the boxers but for the fans to witness a real entertainment, and they are professional, they are paid to do the job.

I thought back then that there would be a ban on Russian fighters during the war, but here we have proven that sports should have nothing to do with politics in war, and peace sports should be allowed to move on, It is good that the fight will be held in Saudi Arabia it's a neutral ground as Beterbiev is currently residing in Montreal making him the favorites by the crowd if the fight is to be held in Las Vegas.

I hope there will be no delay in the fight just like what happened to the Fury - Usyk fight, Beterbiev has a history of delays it happened in his bout against Callum Smith because of his dental surgery, I hope none of this will happen here and the June 1 schedule match will happen.

Ps: Campaign is temporary pause due to lack of funds to cover for this week payment. Immediately the wallet is refilled, the campaign will continue but for now you can remove signature and avatar and try your luck somewhere else. If the campaign was to resume, all posts for the week will be counted but for now I'm waiting on a feedbacks from Lightlord.

The payment delay was intentional to wait on a feedback but I can't keep you guys waiting any longer therefore we just have to pause and wait on a positive feedback to continue.

This is not looking good reputation-wise. LL got negative trust ratings in the past for delays in campaign payments and similar thing is happening again. The funds have run out but LL didn't even bothered to inform manager/participants if he wants the campaign to continue or not.
Luckily the manager stepped in and paused the campaign so there's no debt to the participants (they still have a right to expect payment for up to the time the pausing was announced though).

Looks some people will never learn. Sad.

It's hard to imagine if the format is the same as the last one where participants are paid every month, two good things happened in this recent campaign, the signature manager is the one holding the funds and there is a refilled agreement weekly and the payment is weekly, the current format is good but the downside is LL is not good in communicating to the signature manager if he wants to stop the campaign Brainboss did the right thing, it saves participants on their expectation in the campaign.
Bitvest campaign is a good campaign as you are being paid on Bitcoin if you're a Hodler this is the best campaign to join, lets see in the coming days if Lightlord will show up and continue with the campaign.
592  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: This was my highest risk. on: February 06, 2024, 02:46:35 PM

A friend of mine sold her bet to me 20k Nigerian naira and I bought it because there was a cash-out on the bet, and the cash out was 20k Nigerian naira.
Besides, the games are 21 in total and 19 out of the games have entered so the games was remaining just 2 and that was why I bought the bet with a whole 20k Nigerian naira.

This is the highest risk I have ever taken on gamble.  :)Why I called this the highest risk was because if the remaining 2 games lose I will be the loser and not my friend, so that risk was very terrible but I just have to take the risk because I already have in mind that you can not win if you do not risk. But to cut long story short, I win the bet, this was like sharing the money equally with my friend.
So have you ever taken such a risk on gambe before?

It's worth the risk you only need 2 to win if someone is a risk taker he will also go for that, but we all know in gambling there's no guarantee, the game could have 4 or 5 to go but if you're lucky and you've analyzed the game you could win or you are one win away then the last game could blow everything.
It's good that it went in your favor.
You really cannot win huge in gambling if you are not a risk taker, but if you're going to take a risk you should know what you're going into and what the consequences are and you can sleep in your decision.
Those who take risks are people who just want to have fun, gamblers who do not take a loan or put in their savings, because when you're too pressured to win, that's when everything turns worse.
593  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling mistake repeated by the gamblers on: February 06, 2024, 01:15:06 PM

Greedy:
The gambler should avoid of the greediness in the gambling after the continuous gambling winning. The gambler should try to withdraw the funds from the gambling site after the good winning in the gambling site. Many loss the capital by doing high betting and random betting with the positive wipe with more winning. The most of the successful gamblers may skip greedy in their betting.

Share your opinion about this two mistakes with your experience.

I'm guilty of this when I was just starting my venture in gambling, I was like hitting when the iron is still hot I believe in this saying in many situations but it's too late to find out that it will not work in gambling, I was so greedy back then that I thought that I can make money from gambling if I can create a winnable method, I was in searched for the best method I can apply on my betting so I can win some more, I even explore martingale because the theory looks good on study but unfortunately I found out that it will not apply on gambling.

There was also a time I was given a tip that a particular game was going to be fixed by players and teams I was so greedy that I even pawned my watch so I could bet more so I could win more until I found out that it was fake news.
You should never apply greediness to gambling, there's a lot of uncertainty in gambling, and if you cannot moderate your greediness you will be a step closer to becoming addicted to gambling.

595  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Inoue vs Nery For Undisputed 122lbs Title - May on: February 05, 2024, 03:36:17 PM
Nery is an aggressive fighter and so I predict that this would not go the full distance if nothing changes in his style. But the only chance for Nery to win is to slug it out as putting a premium on his defense would not get him the win as Inoue will slowly dismantle him round by round until he is ripe for the picking just Inoue's previous opponents.

It will be his pride that will carry on this fight. I mean he is also known to have a great power, so he will try and test Inoue with his set of power and see if he can handle it. And I don't think that Inoue is scared of anyone in this division, he knows that he can dominated it as he has done it with 2 former champions. And it's going to be very hard fight for Nery to win, unless he caught Inoue with his power, and it's a perfect shot that Inoue can't recover.

Maybe that's the right strategy for Nery, better gambler on being agressive, either lose early or win early than let Inoue dictate the fight and will eventually make Nery the same with other fighters that changes their style from beting aggressive to defensive just to survive the fight. Nery could use his ample time to train harder as a win here is going to make him very popular. They say it's almost impossible to beat Inoue at this division, so Nery should make that as an inspiration to train, gets his stamina ready as it's never impossible to beat a boxer even if how strong he is, afterall Inoue is still a human.

Pressure offense, a slugfest, that will destroy the defense of Inoue as for sure he would accept that challenge, but Nery has to improve his speed so he'll be able to catch Inoue good.

Mike Tyson summarized the behavior of every boxer and that every boxer has a plan until they get hit in the face, all of Inoue's opponents have a plan and they will do everything to implement that, that's what they all say during the press conference, unfortunately on fight night after they get hit they change their plans so from planning to be aggressive they become defensive and they just wait and become tentative.

I expect Nery to lay out his plan I'll be taking notes on the plans that he is going to lay out so we can see if he can implement them on fight night or if he will just be another planner outside the ring and a runner inside the ring.
But for me, Nery will have no resistance against Inoue, Nery is not a power puncher and he cannot be considered at the level of Casimero or Donaire so it's going to be an easy win by Inoue here.
596  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling Management on: February 05, 2024, 03:09:28 PM
You're doing the right thing, bankroll management is very important there will be times when you are tempted to pour everything because so many unexpected things happen on gambling, the strategy is to moderate your greed and set up a method and do a lot of variation.
I learned a lot about monitoring my bankroll and my method on how I bet, avoiding being too emotional, even if you're gambling for fun it's not good if you're losing your bankroll easily.
It is a sign of being a responsible gambler if you can maintain your bankroll until the next time you can fill it up, bankroll is the measure of how good you are at managing your gambling habit, once you can manage your bankroll and you can log out feeling good then gambling is fun and for entertainment only for you.

I guess you intentionally brought this idea up to get traffic to your website, I can see many ads popping up on my screen, it that's not the goal I don't know why you would do it, anyway, just work more on the website because it looks like trash, and mind you, if you want to run a faucet just run it, avoid intertwine with casinos
I have to close the site because there are so many ads on it and popping too, it's not a guide it is more on the promotion of casinos he is promoting, there's so many ads intruding, and it isn't very pleasant to the eyes, OP thought by doing this he can get people to follow and subscribe to his platform, but its the other way around

Quote
There is no way you won't lose money in gambling, if there is a way then it's not gambling, which is why I believe that your point isn't making sense to me, there is nothing that can prevent you from losing your money to casino, it's all a game of bet and only one side have to win or lose.
I think what OP meant to say is the money that comes from the faucet since its not coming from our pocket, we're not losing our money, but OP failed to understand it's still coming from the person's effort and he converted it to funds so he can use to gamble, it's his own that he is going to lose.
OP is presenting us with the wrong information faucet is not worth claiming, if you're going to use it to bet on casinos you'll have to wait for many weeks or several months to reach the payout threshold, I prefer to use money in my pocket to bet than wait for my earnings on faucet to cash out.

Quote
Faucet is a complete waste of time right now,
Your earnings will just go to paying the transaction fee and you'll have to wait months to cash out, even newbies are leaving faucets because it's not worth it anymore, if you're a gambler I don't think faucets will attract you.
598  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Another Two Category Of Gamblers That We Are Not Aware Of on: February 05, 2024, 01:26:25 PM
This seems more like a superstition other than anything else...

No, it's not bro, it's a clinical study I have dropped the link you may have missed reading the article, the doctors are the ones who came out with these terms not ordinary citizens, I also thought that there are only two types of gamblers responsible and irresponsible gamblers. but there are other types too

Quote
Just like Koreans think your life is judged by your blood type, or how many indian people still kinda somehow follow the caste system...
Based on how someone gambles they come up with character traits? I wish life was that simple so we could judge people with things like zodiac signs or character stats.
But that's how physicians do the things they try to articulate, or comprehend the behavior of gamblers, it may not look easy for us laymen.
They study the behavior, so they can trace symptoms and set up a rehabilitation method for gamblers, gambling behavior is quite complicated, they first classified it so they can come out with treatments on how to cure these symptoms.
599  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Beterbiev vs. Bivol - Undisputed Light Heavyweight Championship on: February 05, 2024, 11:04:14 AM
Both boxers are undefeated, they are dominating on their division. Although Beterbiev is the older boxer here age doesn't matter if a boxer has a 100% KO rate. All of his fight is won via KO while Bivol is just a 50% KO artist. Maybe Beterbiev will retire soon considering his age, so it could be his final attempt to make his own legacy, and I'm hoping that he'll be successful here against a younger champion that beast Canelo.
When two undefeated champions collide for a unification bout expect a lot of hype and support from the boxing community, the boxing community has been discussing this for the last two years, the difference in the promotion and the boxing organization they belong to took a lot of time for this fight to happen, both fighters want this fight to happen because it's a legacy fight, its the legacy fight that will put a fighter in the future of hall fame so both fighters have to go all out to make it happen.

Quote
Good luck to these two champions, I'm sure the fans are happy with this announcement and it's treat to us who wants to see real warriors square up in the ring. I had Beterbiev to win by KO and it will be 21-21 after this fight.

Beterbiev is always the heavy favorite because until no one has gone to finish the fight against him all have been knock out, but this could be the first time he'll be facing a guy who can take punches and has a ring generalship, between the two Beterbiev had a better chance for a knockout but if the fight goes the distance Bivol will have a chance to take the fight by decision.
